Visited for the Kenny Wayne Shepherd show. Good view from the balcony. Nice and reasonably priced bar.
Went to see mpg princes backing group was an amazing night
Really nice place, good bar, saw Avatar play and was an awesome show
The seating area on level 3 is extremely dirty. The floors are sticky, the handle bars are sticky, the bench style seats have black marksm and.... is sticky. I am not sure about the rest of the venue. It looked gorgeous from the height I was seated. If you go don't go to level 3!
Great intimate venue. Staff were very friendly and assisting. Would recommend for future gigs as audio quality is great too.
Good venue for a gig, but the bar is quite expensive.
The ambiente is amazing. It looks like an old theater and has a cosy feeling
More commonly known as the Shepherd's Bush Empire, this place is pretty heavily tiered with quite a small standing area. No complaints about the sound, tho, or the bars, it's actually reasonably easy to get a pint here.
Fantastic venue and very efficient bar staff. I've also never met nicer security staff. Beer prices are a bit steep though. Convenient location close to tube/overground.
Great place for live music. The concert I went to had incredible sound.
Excellent venue saw Ranking Roger and the Selector with my son awesome night of music
LITRALY ONLY 5 STARTS AS ROADTRIP PROFORMED THERE AND THE STAFF MADR SURE THE DHOW WAD THE BEST IT COULD BE
Great sound, easy entry and exit, quick to get a drink, always somewhere to stand where you can see the stage clearly even upstairs.
I went a watched Why Don t We perform there and we also met them backstage and it was amazing great venue and the staff we so helpful they kept handing out cups of water constantly for free it was amazing
I believe because I had tattoos jellery waist coat and white shirt they pulled me aside and searched me and said I was being aquesed of theft... although they found nothing and the staff were very apologetic I can't shift the fact that I was discriminated against and it ruined my time at the concert
Historic building great sound for live bands, big bar so no huge queues
Great venue to see a band. Right size so that everyone pretty much gets a good view. Plus, barely a queue at the bar!
This place's safety certificate needs to be reviewed. It is overcrowded.
Beautiful place. Good priced beer, but don't be in the stalls, as you can't see the stage, as it isn't elevated
Went last night to see Ella. Very poor to none information when queuing outside. It was my first visit there but while waiting for the door to open, asked a woman/staff and she immediately looked at me like 'get lost' bue eventually replied to my question. Inside, I was negatively surprised by the smell and shocked how sticky the floors were on level3. Not sure if other levels were the same but I was actually afraid to sit down and was lifting myself and my feet every now and then to make sure I will not get glued to the floor/seat. It is like a cheap night club with sticky carpets smelling of spilled alcohol. Yuk! I am glad the concert was great because otherwise it would be time wasted.
Great venue. Easy to get to number public transport.
They have a good range of acts but their system of overselling unallocated seating means you always need to queue for hours. The standing area is also really crowded and can feel claustrophobic. It is a nice intimate venue though, with a bar on every floor which is always handy.
On seeing black bear on the 6th Dec I was disgusted at the lack of security/help within the venue. Particularly security guy standing to the right of stage as you look at it.Older guy.balding.glasses.
The crowd was a young crowd and at full capacity.Four guys came barging through crowd knocking groups of girls to the floor and screaming. One the guys physically attacked a girl whom went off hysterical. They where shouting heads off and holding up phones with message "got any pills".
This was right under he's nose and saw him actually look and look away as if couldn't see.It went on for a while.I also witnessed two people snorting cocaine and a guy flicking he's lighter. Clearly visible to staff.
I understand this stuff is part and parcel of gigs but for it to be blatenly ignored, I was shocked & a little disappointed as been to venue so many times.I probably wouldn't suggest sending young adults in alone.
Great venue! I saw there Comet is coming, fantastic performance! Friendly staff, they were giving water to the audience during the concert. Amazing atmosphere and beautiful theatre. A tip: if you are travelling by car, in the Westfield More
Went to see Mott the Hoople. Fantastic concert in an amazing venue. Great night
Always an amazing night out here. Great facilities and have seen some great live acts here the latest being the revolution and the NPG! Highly recommend
Such a great venue, will definitely be going again.
I went here on New Years Eve and then put on a great show and party. My only complaint was that the music began to become repetitive and after a while it started to become dull. But overall it's a great venue and I recommend going to the 02 for parties or concerts.
A bit expensive if you're not used to London prices; good acoustics for gigs and plenty of room.
Great venue, lots of character and acoustics are good. Let down by the need of a bit of a clean here and there and by the distinct smell of stale pee in parts of the upstairs/seated sections.
Decent venue. Pretty small so you can a great view of the acts even if you're up on the 3rd level seating area as I was.
Was here for Muse 19.09.2017
Remains one of the best places in London to see live music
Great venue, small, cosy and you can get close enough to the band to see them!
Great venue for gigs, we had great fun on the night and the area is rich of options for food and shopping, as well as well served by public transport.
Just a great venue for seeing bands, seen a few there now, and enjoyed the experience every time!
Another great iconic venue with great sound, lighting and atmosphere with helpful staff
Went here to watch my daughter sing in her showcase. Great venue and friendly staff and not too much of a wait at the bar
Went there for a few gigs. Very safe and good club. Bars open on all levels. Good sound effect inside.
Great venue. Stand anywhere and you will get a good view of the stage. Friendly staff, local parking at a price better off with public transport as many buses stop around the green. Four tube stations nearby why not pop along to Westfield's for food pre concert.
An old venue but well-maintained. Friendly staff, be they doormen or behind the bar. Toilets clean. A reasonably intimate venue. Unfortunately, on the night of our recent visit, a large section of the female audience behaved badly, ruining the experience for others.
Gorgeous venue, lots of character. 3rd Tier is good and has its own bar.
Really cool venue, came here to see Vulfpeck. If you are with O2 make sure you take advantage of the drink deals on offer, as well as all the other cool extras.
Saw Kiefer Sutherland here great sound. Easy to find. Nice atmosphere
I have bay tickets with numbered seets on balcony but have force to stand.... Very unhappy. No mentioned when buying the tickets so numbered seets tickets can mean so you will stand all long show... Today Wardruna live.... Funk off.
This venue is hideous, they need to knock it down and start again. Stalls standing tickets are basically blocked by a bar, so you cant really see the acts play on stage unless at the bar or really tall. (See image below: my view Hiatus Kaiyote)
Great line up and brilliant gigs but the place is a warren of stairs and corridors and has had some cheap fix remedial works done. We recently were given VIP tickets to a band I've supported for 26 years, only to be sent to the 3 floor. Now I have no problem with the complimentary tickets being the furthest away, disappointing sure but I can accept that paying guests deserve closer seats - but these were seats that used to be at such an angle that fold down seats left little leg room . The solution? They have removed the seats and replaced them with bench style seating only approximately 250mm in depth. They are covered in ribbed carpet. It's similar to old school baseball bleacher seating, only with filthy carpet as a covering. People didn't stay for the whole gig where we were and it definitely wasn't the artist as they were on top form. I would not recommend 3rd floor tickets regardless of saving.
Great venue... saw will Varley. Couldn't see very much but Good atmosphere
Having bought tickets for my daughter and her friend was not happy that the o2 then insisted I was present with my ID otherwise they would be refused entry, I offered to give them the card to present that the tickets were booked on but no they want photo ID !!! - thank you I have now cancelled my plans just so I can travel all they way into London so you can check it's me then leave - angry doesn't cut it, will not use this venue again
Excellent place, cozy, well communicated, excellent sound quality.....
I went to see Mary Black with my brother on 31st May. Shepherds Bush is not a nice area. Westfield shopping us useful for places to eat.
We went to The Green pub just outside.
The Theatre is quite small with some lovely decoration inside.
A decent bar with a mixture of drinks.
Very pleased with our seats in the third row.
Well organised, clean and safe venue. Reasonable prices except the bar although probably normal for London!
Classic music venue that I have been to a couple of times. I won tickets for Blue October the second time. Staff are awesome and there is a good vibe there. Great view wherever you stand as well.
I went to see Temples here last December, and wow! What a stunning show - made only better by the beautiful venue!
For a change, I chose a seat on the lower balcony which was reasonably close to the stage.
I was a bit worried at first that I wasn't going to get a good view from there, but turns out it was awesome!
If you like to soak up the atmosphere of a live show without being surrounded by sweaty people , I would highly suggest picking the seats upstairs. Especially if you can get the ones where you can lean on the balcony for an even better look at what's going on in the crowd.
Truly hope I can return to this venue again in the future, but for now I'll just have to admire everyone's photos on Instagram!
Great venue for gigs. Been here twice and always good. Nice views of the stage and good sound system.
