Great venue for music, good standing area to watch the bands and as its sloped you can see the band from any angle. Queue for the cloakroom is always horrendously long and the bar is very slow.

Beer prices high if you are a smoker be prepared to be told you can't go outside for one until half way through the night makes you feel like kids and angry other than that worth a visit at least oncefeels a bit like a cattle market and O2 priority might be OK for online bookings but the venues don't seem to bother with any O2 angels or priority anything since I've been going for the last 4 years most tell you they are not bothering with priority tonight get in the other line so I don't see the point

Great venue - came for a gig on London's bizarre 38 degree day and they managed to keep the place cool throughout! Great size - big enough for atmosphere but small enough to feel intimate

Went to see Mo the Comedian who was awesome. Only bad things were that the parking was difficult to find and they tried to cram about a hundred smokers into a tiny space during the intermission. I got the cheap seats so they were torturous on my back and butt but I got what I paid for. If you can avoid it, avoid lvl 3 at all costs!

Great venue for live concerts with a small crowd size. Close to public transportation. The standing area is on flat ground so recommend arriving early to get a good view. The standing and balcony tickets enter the venue through separate doors, so you cannot transfer between sections inside the venue.

Shepherd's Bush Empire is a truly beautiful venue -- a stunningly gorgeous cathedral of rock 'n' roll that is also warm and intimate like a club. I recommend that you check their gig list immediately and find a reason to come here!

Marc Bolan 40th Anniversary Gig. Overcrowded and no awareness of staff of safety as stairs were blocked as they allowed people to stand on them. Couldn't move between upper/lower part of the stalls. We left early as my partner could not see.

I arrived at Shepherds Bush Empire 50 minutes after the doors opened so no queuing. I was a bit confused which door to go in but a member of staff was so helpful. My bag was checked - security was good. I had a standing ticket and at 5 ft 4 and a few rows back, I didn't really have a view of the stage but that's just how it goes. Toilets were clean, I didn't use the bar. Cups of water were handed out at the front which was a nice touch. I had a good time and would definately return.

It feels as if the stalls is oversold, as whenever I go it gets horribly busy and hot, and always feels a little unsafe. The floor is flat, so it s better to get there early if you want a good view.

The cloakroom is in a terrible position and is always very slow.

Saw snoh aalegra last week... im beginning to not like o2 music gigs.. i saw lauryn hill last year at o2 greenwich and the sound quality ruined it... had the same experience with snoh .. they need to hire better sound engineers and be on top of sound quality... at least the earplugs were provided free of charge

Difficult to get into the venue. Long cues that stretch many roads. And different cues for different areas for the venue however that are not clearly labelled. The only sign I say was as I walked into the venue after cuing for 40 minutes

Big stars love to play their secret gigs in here, many new talent also play at the Bush seen the offspring, the offspring, Biffy Clyro loads of American bands, indie bands, every one including Spanish, Latin American and European acts

Many times the art is also stay very near in a hotel called K West or the Hilton

Is a concert venue so some of the seating might not be the best but overall a great place to get very intimate with a top band

Capacity 2000 some times if you wait till the show starts and you don't mind missing a few minutes of the new acts or many indie band you can get tickets from a fiver from people selling the tickets outside

Brilliant venue. 5 minute walk from Shepherd's Bush tube station and Westfields shopping area and very easy to find. Staff were helpful and bar staff were fast despite the enormous queues.

Great acts as well!

Beautiful venue from the early 1900s. The best thing is the three bars on the ground floor: even in the most complete crowd you can get your drink in a very short time. Maybe we had it in Italy.

Great venue. Standing on ground and seating on upper levels which is unreserved. Security slow on entering so best arrive in good time. Easy to get to by tube, just a few minutes walk from Shepherd's Bush Market. Saw Kiefer Sutherland who put on a great show.
