One of London's top music venues. Beautiful interior. Drink choices are limited but lots of pubs and bars locally.

Always a great place, well organised and nice staff
I'm just in from Last Orders at the SB Empire.......
I'm still staggered at what I saw......
Stuart Lancaster is not coaching Leinster, he's having Chemo and singing in a band called UFO.
Along with Brian Connolly who has learned to play both guitar and keyboards but not change his hair.
Mr Tummulty has left Narnia and joined the group on Drums....
One of the cast from School of Rock has been understudying for too long and is trying way to hard and is in the wrong band. Stuart is really cool with his effortless stage presence but not the guitar player.....
The bass player is also in the wrong band - he usually is the lead guitarist in TMWSNBBFN.
If I could suspend my disbelief I would say its a fine night's entertainment by a band that bares a striking resemblance to a band I used to know called UFO.
All my memories now shattered.
I will leave the past there.
The rules are terrible here so be prepared. Wont let you leave and come back in, even though you've clearly bought a ticket (wanted to take a selfie out front for social media...you'd think they'd want good publicly). Wouldn't let me keep the cap to a purchased bottle of water so I wouldn't have to hold it the entire show! And the sound wasn't that good. Also, not sure who's fault this is, but the crowd would just throw their empty cups on the floor, making walking a hazard. I was expecting a much nicer experience for my first live show in England.
the standing stalls is like a hell pit when its full
its all one level but they will still charge you like your paying for the best seat in the building, forget seeing anything if your short, my first concert in that venue will be my last.
Excellent medium capacity theater, well equipped and with responsible, friendly and hard-working staff. There they played several of the greats of English and American rock. Very good place to work or go see a show.
There was no organisation to get people in. When we did get inside you could not see the first act at all as they were sitting down and the stage was so low people in front blocked the view. When Ronnie Wood came on all you could see every now and then was a tuft of black hair. I went to the raised area at the back to see if I could get a glimpse of the stage but it was rammed. You could not get a drink as everyone was blocking the bar trying to see. We left after 20 minutes of Ronnie Wood disappointed and annoyed as we had travelled from leicester for the show
Intimate theatre venue. I thought the sound was much better upstairs. I had to have the help of security staff and they were excellent - kind and efficient.
Venue is fine but very outdated. The seats are the most uncomfortable of any venue I've been to and we sat on what was essentially a plank of wood for 3 hours.
One of my favourite venues. Seen so many bands here.
Small venue for a gig - much more intimate than big arenas. I liked that.
Melanie Martinez 9 Dec. Standing room overcrowded and dangerous resulting in a severe back injury to a 15 year old. Medical team and Security first class in helping the two youngsters escspe the durge, but the Melanie Martinez entourage, four of whom we were sitting behind in the pub next door while we waited during the gig, before receiving the call from emergency services, have to assess the safety of her younger fans amongst the bad apples. WarnerChappell get your act together and take some responsibility. Would not recommend parents allow under16s in standing areas at Melanie Martinez. Unsafe.
Grotty, dirty and needs some investment. However, Lauren Daigle was fantastic.
A bar that runs across the back, what more could you want.
Nice live music venue. Quite cosy inside which is much more pleasant than massive venues. Pretty quick service at the bar, which was impressive.
Great venue, well organised event, good security, will come back there :)
A great venue for a concert, the acoustics were good, facilities were clean and easy to get to during the gig. Drinks prices were reasonable
Great sized venue but if you're sitting on the top floor the views aren't great
Good gig venue. Drinks are a bit dear but hey your out out!
Great place. Massive queuing system round the corner but moved quickly so don't panic if you're near the back!
Very atmospheric venue but seated area is a bit crowded. Felt like a sardine. Doesn't help when other members of the audience can't sit still for 10 minutes.
29 quid for two pints and two g an t served in a plastic cup and the beer tasted dirty
Great venue, medium house size that makes gigs more intimate. Good view even from the top. Good range of singers and artist
They stop serving drinks 5 minutes before the headline act goes on. Also it's got one if the saddest bars I've seen in London in ages. Like some 1990s community hall. Carlsberg & G&T with no lime
Easy to get to
Great sound and atmosphere
Terrible venue when trying to see a band in the stalls
Good mid sized venue, reasonable transport links. Several bars on the ground floor. The band, Blackberry Smoke, gets five stars.
Sound over-amplified and inaudible. Could only tell what was being said on stage by reference to whether voice changed in pitch. Left early. Won't return for spoken word events.
Best music venue London. Love the space, intimate and great views of the stage from everywhere
Always a good venue to attend
Edit: poor bar staff though
This was a really nice venue but be prepared to wait for a drink! Nice intimate venue and would go back again. Queue let s it down for a drink but to be expected
Great venue. Acoustics not quite as good as Brixton.
Smaller than you might expect, dingier in truth too! Needs some tlc but great for intimate gigs as you feel close the artists performing
I would never visit this venue again. I went to see the Levellers on 24th November and was refused entry at 7pm as I was apparently drunk, despite being perfectly coherent, polite and reasonable. After a further two attempts they finally let me in at 9pm. Unfortunately I spoke to at least another 5 people outside who were all having the same problem and who were also not drunk. The door staff were intimidating, rude and seemed to be randomly picking out people for some kind of power trip. I saw many other people be let in that were clearly drunk and staggering around.
I missed the support band and it put a real downer on my evening. I will be making a complaint, and unless I get an apology, I will never visit this venue again. The staff were the nastiest I have ever come across.
It's a fairly intimate venue which is lovely, the sound is great and we watched luke combs who was fantastic. However, they ram this place which means it takes ages to get served a drink, and is very difficult to actually see anything unless you're willing to push a few people out of the way. I don't mind packed venues, but taking 30 mins to be served a drink because there are only 4 people working a bar is a bit rubbish.
Great venue. Little hard to get down into the main standing area as everyone seems to love standing in the steps, but there are good views from everywhere and the sound system is great too.
Manics were Brill in this up close & personal venue
A great little venue. Relaxed, comfortable atmosphere with a all round view of the stage.
A lovely place.. set in time.. loved my time there.
Great venue, extremely helpful box office staff, had a ticketing problem was handled incredibly smoothly.
Small-ish venue but suitable for the concert I attended. The only problem was that the last performer, the ONE that everyone went there to see, wasn't sound checked properly and as a result it was difficult to hear the singer as the band was louder than her.
Have been there for Ronnie Wood. Was a little bit over crouded, every stairs have been full of standing people.... Audience was great, drinks awsome.
Great and historical concert hall. Small, charming and with good acoustics.
Excellent atmospheric venue, especially if you are on o2, but a point off for the rather uncomfortable seating.
I have been only once, I didn't really enjoy the organisation
Venues really nice for a certain intimacy with the bands. Staff were friendly.
Awesome venue, highly recommended if attending an concert
Room ok bars a few only minus that there is only 1 ladies toilet
One of the worst venues I've been to. I couldn't see the band at all, and I am not the shortest person. I tried multiple locations, all the same. The main bar is opened even during the gig and is very obstructive. People talk when ordering don't they... I just couldn't get into the gig because all of this. At the end we managed to sit in the balcony, which was much much better, so I'd recommend the upper seating, not stalls. I hope none of my favourite bands play in this venue in the future...
Giving it 1 start now, as I went here again for another gig..the sounds was terrible, which might not necessarily the venue fault. My least favourite venue in London.
Went to see Mic Lowry and was based in the stalls which made it feel more like a cozier venue than I imagine the seated area felt like. It was easy to get to and laid out well enough.
Good venue sound wise but seating is abysmal, soooooo hard
Nice venue. Sound not 100% but good enough to enjoy the gig.
