Amazeballs! Extremely nice hotel, clean rooms and great customer service.

All very nice top hotel with excellent service and food.

The buffet is varied and large and is considered one of the best Abu Dhabi buffets, the atmosphere is beautiful and the place is spacious, only the price is considered high

Wonderful experience ! We had a very warm welcome and received oustanding services here. The room is over expectation with a pefect view and best decoration theme.
It would be a missing if you don't take the breskfast here cause it's seems to be the worthiest breakfast at any resort I've ever tried. Various types of cuisines and a big area for sweet foods.
Last but not least, Shangri La Abu Dbabi has the amazing staff, they always make you feel like home here.

Is a huge complex consist of hotel, service apartment with a Zouk shopping mall. Room are tired but with nice ornate balcony overlooking the Grand Mosque is magnificent day and night view, feel like Aladdin! Hati Osta the guest service manager is super helpful and asking us on everything we needed. The service is exceptional and top rated hospitality!

We celebrated our 7th year anniversary here as a couple. The room was spacious. The bed was soft. We were satisfied by the buffet breakfast and would like to commend the breakfast team: Durga, Pooch, Cindy and Mr. Bekh for being accomodating and for giving us a warm service. We went there to try the Abra ride only to find out that they only operate late during Thursday. Mr. Bekh talked to the receptionist to give us a late check-out so we could try the Abra ride to make our staycation complete. We were able to experience it and we were really grateful. We loved the infinity pool but we only wished they close a little later so we could enjoy an evening dip (it closes at 7pm). The view of the Grand Mosque could have been perfect but it was obstructed by an ongoing construction. We never had a problem from check-in to the late check-out. COVID-19 is still prevalent but the hotel made us feel safe by adhering to protocols. Overall, our stay in Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri was exceptional. The hotel and the staff were great!

We have stayed in many fine hotels around the World, including other Shangri-La's, but this stay tops them all. Every aspect of our stay was six stars! This was a mini family reunion. There were 8 in our group in 4 rooms and suites. Our group was pretty diverse, ranging in age from 19 to 90! We had travelled from 3 Continents to Abu Dhabi to spend some quality time together. we were not disappointed!

The reservation was mostly handled by Jane Priscila, who very ably handled our many requests for handicap facilities and for the rooms being close to each other. Thank you Jane for being such a perfect host and for the many thoughtful touches!

When our hotel transfer from the Airport arrived at the hotel, 4 smiling welcoming faces met us at our car, welcomed us warmly and took care of all the luggage and check in. This set the tone for the rest of our stay! Every breakfast and meal was a joy to look forward to. Our Suite had an amazing view of the impressive Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which was all lit up at night. Sunsets at the Horizon Club was very special too with the same view of Abu Dhabi skyline! The service at the Club was very warm and friendly.

The check out and departure was very smooth, friendly and efficient. The only problem was we were so sad to be leaving this oasis in the desert! We have been totally spoilt for life. We doubt very much if any other hotel will match this experience. Not a problem! We just have to come back,SOON!

We had stayed at Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Oman, and also the Shangri-La in Dubai...but this experience at Shangri-La Hotel Qaryat Al Beri had been ABSOLUTELY superb! From the check-in Managed by Hadi, up to the check-out by Leavana had been amazing. We had been treated absolutely like royalty. The care that had been extended to our Toddler during our stay was also second to none. An incredible Hotel with incredible people. Shangri-La can be proud of the Employees and their level of professionalism! Thank you for an amazing experience and memories that we will cherish forever!

Staff were ALL very friendly and helpful. Service is top notch, room very comfortable, and the resort is beautiful. Buffet food can be improved. Overall Excellent Stay.

Staff are well trained and the hospitality is always outstanding . The warm welcome from Azraa, Karlina, and Bierman makes us feel we are at home. Shangri La, Abu Dhabi is not only one of the best, but always my no.1 choice hotel in Abu Dhabi. I love the Arabic Interior Design of the Hotel. The view in the room was spectacular and it has relaxing ambiance . The housekeeping always attends our needs and make sure our room was always tidy. The buffet breakfast is what i always look forward, they have variety of choice, from arabic, chinese, japanese, and indian cusine was all sumptuous, kudos to chef and Cindy who is so accommodating in our needs. Also, I have to mention that the Internet was so fast, not once it buffer while we are watching on Netflix , to connect is hassle free and it covers the entire hotel even on pool area. Good job to your IT Department. THANK YOU my sister and I enjoy our stay.

Excellent rooms. Great view of the Grand Mosque. Fantastic service at the pool bar. Gorgeous infinity pool serves as an excellent backdrop for photos.

We had a nice stay, however, I do have some feedback regarding signage. This was a bit misleading. It said for example 'this way for pool bar only', which we did not need and then we did not realise that we could have walked through to the beach on the other side. The beach had the 'closed' sign, but nowhere did it say that there was another one open. We had to then go to reception and ask and wait for someone to show us the beach area. Better signage could have avoided this.

There were not enough bottles of water in our room, considering the heat. Or enough towels. But we managed.

When we called in room dining we were directed towards the menu being 'on the television channel' but not told which channel. As such, we could not access the in room dining menu and so did not have dinner. Our channel '1' did not work and I can only assume that there was some reference to the menu on this channel as every other channel was a general TV channel.

Today we were spared in the dining restaurant in Shangri-La, a very bad experience, the food was late, and the service was not at the required level that we were used to. I never advise it during this period.

I had this morning breakfast at Sofra restaurant it was very bad experience not the usual level of service we get used off not recommended at this time of covid-19

This place is oustanding. It has all the things (and many more) you expect from a luxury hotel. In addition, I take this opportunity to thank the staff for being so professional and for having always a smile for the customer.

The place is beautiful, the buffet has a wide variety of meals and the view it offers when you go out to the pool area is, without a doubt, exceptional.

Quality of Sofra food has been decreased. Became so public..Soo crowded.

I love the hotel. Room service was amazing the have gulf cars to drop you to souq qaryat al bari 3-5 mins from the hotel. Good location and very nice view for sh zayed mosque

All aspects of our stay were wonderful with the exception of the buffet dinner. Several serving platters (especially at the salad area) were left nearly empty for over an hour. Food was not of uniformly good quality. It also took 35 minutes to receive our dinner bill, which was frustrating. We would note that our dinner at Hoi An was exceptional.

Magnificent experience there, I am guarantee that all menu at this restaurant are the best, you might put top rated as well after dining there. Beef and lamb menu is the best option. Seafood was not so fresh at that time, may be it was not a seafood day, that changes every day. PS: i put review exclude the cost..

We had a baby shower here for friends and it was a beautiful experience. The staff were so nice and kind, always there to assist, bring more drinks, take photos of us and everything we needed. This is truly a special place. I m looking forward to my next afternoon tea here.

This place is beautiful. Very clean and exceptional customer service. I ve come here to use the spa and get a massage, to use the pool and beach, and for a movie night. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I m a foodie and the food sucks here. It s cheaply made, no flavour, just fried or baked and served. And for a 5 star hotel, you d expect more.

The best buffet on Friday and Saturday. the Coffee shop and the bar are prepared to service you with a variety of beverages as well as Coffee and you can smoke a Cuban Cigars. The scenary overlooking the the Gulf is spectacular. Good place to visit.

First class all around. There's nothing quite like being overwhelmed with hospitality after a long day flying to a new destination...and the staff of the Shangri-La will do that in spades. Coffee upon arrival...yes please. Try a fresh date...absolutely. Live music ...check. A must-stay destination when in Abu Dhabi.

One of the best hotel here in Abu Dhabi with a very quiet and relaxing place. Also you can enjoy the view of the beautiful Zayed mosque opposite to it. They have a very good restaurant with a very nice buffet which contain a lot of variety. As they have a different type of food for sure you will find what do you like there.

Excellent sea and mouse view. Lots of fun. In side hotel lovely people. Perfect place for holidays.

Amazing hotel with everything you wish; rooms are not the absolute newest but comfortable and nicely and traditionally furnished; the staff is super super friendly and very helpful, they'll fulfill every wish for you. The pool area is super nice and the view on the mosque is just amazing. We weren't sure whether we should rather book a hotel at the beach front, but in the end we were super happy with the hotel's location. Overall just a super nice experience!

Excellent hotel, family friendly, great food and service. Located close to Yas Island and Abu Dhabi City.

The property is good and was priced accordingly... what I didnt enjoy were the secret charges even though we were on half board basis. This ruined my experience which could have been much better without people trying to seed more money out of you.

The hotel is very grand and the rooms are a very good size. I was disappointed by how poorly the rooms were sound-proofed though, as it was very noisy at night.

Breakfast at the hotel was very good and the service at this time was also good. The evening buffet service was not good and we frequently had to try and flag down a waiter/waitress for service, often with a fairly grumpy response. The in-house restaurants were simply insanely expensive, so we ate in the nearby 'souk' which was more reasonable and actually had a better atmosphere.

The beach and the two main hotel pool areas are very nice and the staff very helpful. It is such a shame though that the view of the mosque from the infinity pool is obstructed by the building site. If I had known that I would not have booked this hotel, as that was one of the main features I was looking forward to experiencing.

I know Abu Dhabi is expensive and that this is a higher-end hotel but I thought food and drink was unnecessarily expensive and that the general feel of the hotel was more 4 star than 5. It was cheaper than many of the 5 star hotels so perhaps that is why.

Overall we didn't have any major issues, just a number of more minor niggles. The hotel did send us a bottle of wine to apologise for some of those experiences but even that had to be chased up 25 minutes later which summed things up for me.

I don't think I would stay at this hotel again.

My sons enjoyed the boat ride located in Level 1. It is free for guests. The boat operator was very kind.

Tight architecture and vaulted ceilings ensure Abu Dhabi s Shangri-La offering is something special. The main attraction for a Westerner will be the perfect view of the Emirate s Zayed Grand Mosque. For regional locals the Shanghai-La s combination of subtlety and privacy among gorgeous architecture is the draw.

With several restaurants you re spoilt for choice, though the main eatery Sobra bld is an all you can eat every nation affair that wafts through the lobby to entice guests. The lobby-adjacent al Hanah Bar welcomes cigar smokers so seize the opportunity for a quite Dominican and Scotch.

Rooms have the view too along with plush beds and big bathrooms. You should stay here and feel treated.

Go here as you pass through Abu Dhabi and be grateful for the easy access to the Souk shopping mall via canal boat. Once you ve grabbed some Lebanese, Japanese or New York style steakhouse cuisine totter back to the hotel in time to hear Isha call to prayers!

Went for a drink and something to eat at the pool bar. Great view of Grand Mosque and sunset.

One of my current favourite hotels in Abu Dhabi. The staff are very courteous, friendly and hospitable. They take care of every little thing right from the time you check in.
It's by far one of the best hotel to stay at while you are in Abu Dhabi. Their service is impeccable, ambience is great and food is equally delicious.

My favourite hotel in Abu Dhabi. All the staff are fantastic, from the lovely ladies and gents at Check-in, to the pool staff (Oliver), and the most excellent restaurant staff including Durga, Cherry and Lijo.
