This hotel is in Abu Dhabi near Fairmont Hotel and BMW showroom; between the bridges. This Hotel is locating near the canal. Good view of Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque is giving a good sight to us. Private beach which is neat and clean with calm atmosphere.

One of my best hotels I have travelled to many hotels but the Shangri-la Qaryat al beri is the best ,I would like to thank the Duty Manager Nadir Orchi for his hospitality he always go beyond our expectations and always looking after us cause of him I booked for 15 days and I will stay longer .thank you shangri-la family for this amazing service you are the best also that s my second time last I stayed in your executive suite 632 was amazing and I book in the future

Overall a pleasant week with helpful staff and good food.
The constant noise from the bridge became very annoying.
We were disappointed that after a lot was made of having several restaurants, the reality was that only the buffet restaurant was included in the half board package - this is not made clear in promotional material.
A small thing that would make a big difference to food, is to have hot plates.
It is an insult to a good chef's cooking to serve hot food on on cold plates!!

Certainly a nice getaway. Best thing is for sure the staff. Clean, but some details and amenities need to be upgraded to really feel like there is value on the rates charged.

Fast, friendly, efficient, accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble

An excellent, well-managed hotel with unique staff. Very good kitchen, very clean and well equipped rooms.
The only downer: the constant, extremely annoying background music in the main restaurant and lobby. Cheap music, a reminiscent of a supermarket. If any music, then decent local Arabic music.

Loved the location and the property. Well appointed rooms. Decided to make this my extended stay location in one of their residences.

Perfect place for a vacation or even staycation. Rediculously abundant breakfast buffet. Breathtaking location and architecture.

The Hotel is beautiful. Extra soft bedding with extremely soft pillows. Bathrobs that are so comfprtable, they r all you want to wear. The service here is 7 star. The most friendliest, service driven staff. From the gulf cart drivers to the cleaners. I gave it top rating for the service alone. Great resturants to choose from and a fun brunch . A sister hotel near you and a souk/mall 5 min walk. Or by abra.... you ar3 not limiyed to your hotel.

Beautiful hotel, lovely surroundings and the room that I stayed in was excellent, but most of all the staff without exception were friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. 10 star service from the staff from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed.

I had my wedding proposal for my girlfriend on February 6,2020. The place is so romantic specially the Abra ride, during our arrival the staff welcomed us and immediately lead us to the horizon club lounge, Ms. Jane is nice and guided us very well. Actually, I didn't want to be so fancy on this proposal but in my surprise during the dinner we had petals and flowers in our table which makes us so special. After the dinner Ms. Zen(if my memory is still correct) in the horizon club lounge, asked about our stay and talked to us very friendly. And during our breakfast the staff gave us this congratulatory cake and greeted us for our engagement. Our room is so clean and very spacious. I've been to 5 star hotels around the UAE, but by far, Shangri-La Abu dhabi has the most hospitable staff I've ever experienced. We really felt so special during our stay there, from arrival to departure, I will surely recommend this and for sure in our honeymoon we will make this as an option. Thank you Shangri-La Abu Dhabi team!

It's a lovely old souq with class and breath taking ambience a bit out of the way in placement but once u find it you forget all about that. Very easy valet parking friendly informative staff, nice variety of restaurants and of cause the immaculate views of the Grand Mosque.

Extremely clean hotel only positive note. The sea is very ugly and badly smelling every day on the shore, the pool is definitely better. Reception in a traumatic hotel despite having already paid, they asked me for a deposit to cover the stay. Not only that, they also promptly emptied the mini-bar. Prices within the exorbitant structure probably dictated by the classification in stars.

Nice comfortable rooms, relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. Located halfway between the Airport and the City. Amenities are excellent.

A hotel of its own class with superb hospitality and service. You can feel that you are welcomed as you approach the entrance lobby.
Check-in process was superb and very efficient as well.
Staffs by the pool and beach side are also very helpful and friendly.
It is a great place to stay for leisure ( I believe it will be great for business stay as well).
A bit downside is that from the location. The place itself is having noise from Mussafah Bridge busy traffic. The noise from bridge's traffic becomes noticeable in the late evening and early morning.

Exceeded my expectations - from the level of staff service )throughout the property), the rooms, decoration and general maintenance of the property. It has gone into my top five hotels ever!

Real 5 star restaurant in a real 5 star hotel, with real 5 star buffet and a real 5 star sea food night specifically. Loved it.

We spent six days at the Shangri-La Hotel and it was just fantastic. Very kind service, everybody was so nice and helpful. We really felt like in paradise. Everything was perfect. Clean rooms, amazing breakfast and fantastic pool bar... we will come back for sure...

There seemed to be a miscommunication at check-in as we were given a smoking room while we specifically requested non-smoking as mentioned in the email confirmation. The valet quickly found another room for us and apologized which we appreciated however we were expecting such thing not to happen at a Shangri-La hotel.

Otherwise, last time we stayed at this hotel we mentioned that there was not much options for vegans. This has changed dramatically for the better this time around and we would like to thank Mr Bekhruz Ibragimov who was always there at the Sopra restaurant to ask and suggest what would work for us and the chef he solicited so that we could have a much positive experience at our favorite hotel from a culinary point of view. We really appreciated this attention and want to recognize the exceptional customer service provided by Mr Bekhruz on that regard.

It was great however the food quality was not that good (room service orders), as for breakfast they took our order then they bring wrong order , I will suggest them to be more careful when taking guests orders.

This is one of our favourite hotels in the UAE. It's got a beautiful setting overlooking the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque, the rooms whilst not ultra modern are tastefully decorated and very spacious and most important the staff are friendly and attentive and we've never had a bad stay at a Shangri La Hotel and we've stayed in several.

An absolutely exceptional stay at the Shangri-La Abu Dhabi ... due in the most part to the staff. Every interaction commenced with a warm smile, and nothing was too much trouble to them. To me, the Shangri-La Abu Dhabi represents the pinnacle of client hospitality - Raman Chandel and his team, from reception to housekeeping to maintenance are to be absolutely commended - and I should recommend the Shangri La Residences to anyone who appreciates warm, genuine and impeccable customer service.

It's Beautiful

We really enjoyed another stay and again the staff were just fantastic. We noticed that there certainly had been changes around the hotel and in general had improved what was already very good to an even better standard. The Shang Palace and Sofra Boulavard restaurants had certainly gone to a different level of service and food,the horizon club can also be included in the same bracket. I celbrated my birthday during our stay and was impressed by the staff who made it that bit more special. It was also nice that the general manger took time out to come and speak to us which is the first time that has ever happened in all the many stays we have done there over the years.
Here are a few names of staff that deserve a special mention and are a credit to the Shangri - La hotel - Karlina, Angela, Max, Younass, Polina, Ernest, Deirdre, Siju, Leo, Anque, Qin, Malik,
Cathy(Fan Fan) at the Shang palace is real gem.

Check in was great. I felt welcomed with the Arabic coffee and dates. Reception staff was nice too. There were problems with the tablet on the desk. It was not working. Hopefully it would be fixed. I don t think the reception staff has noticed my membership though. My room was upgraded after I asked about my membership benefits. Welcome amenities and tea were sent to my room afterwards.
The room was spacious and clean. Decor was a bit outdated. Should add a USB charger site at the bedside. The view from balcony was good. Less privacy though because of lower floor.
Waiters at breakfast area were not welcoming. I entered the buffet restaurant, no one was at the reception. We went in, stood there, hoping someone could show us our seats but no one approached us even I saw a waiter looked at us and he quickly walked away without saying a word. We then asked another waitress to show us our seats. There was no service at all. Food was not good neither.
Valet parking staff didn t look good when we refused his service. Hopefully he understands there is a reason behind. We were travelling one place to another every day and we like to keep things in our car. Usually we forgot to get things from our car and it would be more convenient for us to park ourselves and get things back.
Check out was quick.

Perhaps the best hotel that has been visited.
Everything is fine, be sure to take breakfast, but the view from the beach to the mosque is closed by the construction site, so do not rely on photos, which are many in social networks. From the rooms, the view of the mosque is still good.

It was an amazing day to spend. Relaxing and eenjoying. Everything was perfect .

Very nice, sweet and helpful staff. Good food and nice pool. Spacious rooms which includes a bathtub. I had some issues with bad smell in the bathroom and housekeeping but overall experience was good.

Wonderful place for dinner in Abu Dhabi, they offered a variety buffet with different options, everyday they have a different menu, they also offered all you can drink for an affordable price, the place has an excellent view of the Great Mosque and the Abu Dhabi bridge, like most of the places in this city the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed the pool and beach. The breakfast was amazing and staff were super friendly.

This hotel is simply amazing. Spent here some hours during a dinner at the Vietnamese restaurant. The staff was very well prepared and the location is nice. If the rooms are as good as the public areas... I would definitively spend some nights here!

I booked a twin room and a triple room with five friends, but it was a different shape due to a mistake. It was.
Above all, I would like to thank Tracy for listening patiently to our ugly English story.
The staff were friendly and the pool and gondola were great.
