Large rooms, great breakfast, clean, friendly staff and good location. Will stay again if we are in the area.
It is a bit pricy.

The furniture is old need to replace, and new machines for coffee and tea, also need put smart Tv with bein sports and OSN, the Hotel need more privacy bars and nightclub

Loved the Dubai Shangri-La. Great atmosphere, from the Ali Baba jars outside to the bright spacious foyer, huge chandelier and colourful porters. The building and rooms are finished to a very high spec. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. They couldn't have done more to make our visit memorable. Loved the location and the opulent breakfasts. Great unobstructed view of the Burj Khalifa from the swimming pool.

This is a wonderful hotel which I highly recommend if visiting dubai. We found our room to be clean and spacious with a brilliant view of the burj khalifa.

We mostly loved the staff at this hotel, special mention to Johnathon who helped us with our trip to wild wadi water park. And also the lovely chef Titus at breakfast! He is very personable and taught us about the lovely Indian food he made and the traditional way in which it is eaten. He even made a traditional south indian breakfast especially for us, and it was absolutely delicious. He always took time to speak to us, and his genuine passion and warmth made us smile.

Overll we loved our stay at this hotel and cannot wait to return!

By 19/3 my happiness was at the Shangri-La Hotel, the hotel was very special and luxurious, the hall of joy is wonderful, everything is sweet and distinctive, and the staff are very proud of this story, I will pass it for 11 years.

Planes booked an apartment. Everything was perfect, friendly and helpful staff, impeccable cleanliness, very generous breakfast and very good quality. There is nothing wrong with this property except that we had a wonderful time. Great location in DUBAI, a few minutes drive from DUBAI Mall, 10 mm drive from the palm.
We recommend this place for a good holiday

Fantastic Experience. I was there during last week of November and there were very respected covid restrictions that you feel safe and meantime enjoying the experience. From my room there was amazing Burj Khalifa view that I miss a lot after I left :(. Staff was friendly and service was very professional and helpful to help you on every extra request

I used to go there very often as one of my friends was a resident in the hotel.
Also used to go to Ikandy to the Ladies Night.

On New Year's Day, I came to Dubai to watch the annual New Year's fireworks. After many inspections, I finally decided to stay at the Shangri-La Hotel, which is full of Chinese atmosphere, as always.
Walking into the hotel, the unique and familiar fragrance of Shangri-La puffed into the nose, and it felt like returning to a long-lost home. The smiling faces of the service staff as if bathed in the spring breeze came into my eyes. When I understood that I was a Chinese, the friendly Mandarin and the familiar local accent lingered through the tired English, and Shangri-La was like a Chinese harbor in a foreign land.
The fly in the ointment is the incomplete cleaning of the odor in the smoking room, and the strong aftertaste of the cigar remains in the room, which is very pungent for Chinese smokers. I hope the hotel can do the deodorization of the smoking room. More thorough.

Generally very good.
However the coffee was very weak, and there is no proper coffee machine (such as a pod machine) in the rooms, only instant.

Right from an early check in to room of my choice the process was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the cheerful ladies at the breakfast amazed me when they greeted me by name on my third day. Really impressive.

Love this hotel. The restaurants are top notch. Highly recommended the Vietnamese restaurant called Hoi An. Best staff and service in all of Dubai!!

Nice place, good place to stay, staff is very friendly

Asking for late check out at 5pm.... after few attempts, they finally let me even their rooms were quite packed that day i checked out (i was told so but not sure that was a standard reply to customer who ask for late check out or not...).
Really appreciated that offer as our flight was 8 pm in the night. It did help a lot. Personally i want to thank that last person ( i forgot his name at 42rd floor) I requested from him the late check out.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable the decoration is original the welcome and the quality of service are excellent

The hotel is nice, quiet and sophisticated. The location is excellent. I thank all the staff, especially the assistant manager Fahd Mohammed and the receptionist Franchisca the horizon club supervisor

The rooms are outdated, the carpets needs to be changed and it would be better to replace them with marble floors for more hygiene and cleanliness. Rooms still smell of cigarettes, despite wanted no smoking rooms!.

The room was well appointed and very sophisticated. The team, especially for breakfast on ground level (we were in Club but wanted to try the breakfast downstairs). We were not disappointed, so much to choose from and the staff were amazing

Hotel room was clean and comfortable.
The handheld shower head in the bath did not work and we had to call front desk to get it fixed.
I have a nut allergy and the room-service menu had an allergen guide which was not correct. For example, the Butter Chicken did not have an (N) next to it to indicate nuts but when I called and asked if it contained nuts as Butter Chicken normally does, I was informed it did have cashew nuts. This made us quite worried about what was the correct information. I informed the member of staff about my allergy and how the menu did not indicate nuts and he only suggested I could choose something else, he did not seem to understand the severity of a nut allergy. The allergens on the menu should be changed ASAP.
Check-out was slow but this was understandable as due to a medical emergency there was only one member of staff managing both check-in and check-out.

A lovely place and wonderful service.... location is good.
