Excellent hotel located at a station of the Dubai Mall. Most rooms have a view towards the Burj Khalifa! The staff is as helpful and friendly as possible. It has one of the most impressive 41st floor terraces in all of Dubai. The rooms are spacious, clean and pleasantly decorated.
Great overall experience, top to bottom. The only issue that I was not emailed a final copy of my bill as I was promised by the check out agent. Loved the room and felt the upcharge to the club level amenities was worth every penny.

Excellent stay overall, I was in an official trip and everything was handled properly.
2 minor issues while leaving (the first one is really super minor, but the 2nd one was irritating).
1: The time to get back the car (given from valet parking) was excessively high. (I could see people were busy, but still I spent almost 15 mins waiting for the car)
2. A bigger, more irritating issue was that I had given a clean car and I got back the car with dirty muddy spots, all along the left hand side, which was quite strange
Overall our stay at the Shangri-la Dubai was pleasant. The property was well presented and the staff were generally very friendly and helpful. Our check in experience was good given it was a late arrival (2am), however, we were initially allocated a smoking room which upon contacting reception due to odor we were immediately moved to a bigger non smoking room. However, we did lose our Burj Kalifa view room, which was one of highlights and reasons for booking Shangri-la. Other than this we loved our stay at this hotel which does deliver a true 5 star experience.
There is also a residence as well as a regular hotel, and the 2-bedroom or 3-bedroom apartment type is perfect for large families and multiple families. The three-bedroom type is surprisingly large, but the price is not as high (depending on the time)
Great veiws from our nicely sized room overlooking the city and the ocean....pitty the breakfast was probably the worst ive had for some time, all cold and uninteresting. Not what i expected from such a hotel.

Wonderful people. We arrived very early and didn't even asked for an early check in but offered it to us and was given a room immediately once a room was available and his name is Mohammad, so nice of him to accommodate his tired and very sleepy guests at 7am. Always ready to help and very pleasing and professional. Guys from the breakfast were very hospitable and quick to your needs specially Imie from the front who welcomes and sits you and I think his name is Greg skinny Caucasian who gives us coffee every morning with a smile. They are your assets and will be remembered every time we'll be in town we'll definitely come back to Shangri La. And also recommend you to everyone specially our friends and family. And thank you so much for making our vacation a memorable and fun. God bless.

and now sorry about the downside. Daily music at the pool was lovelyy but the weekend "Raggae" noise was awful. We heard a lot of complaints about the loudness and so repetitive some guests they paid good money to stay at the Shangri-la but were not coming back if the music did not improve. I agree with them but we are coming back and thank you for a lovely lovely holiday as usual
I was in Shangrila in April with a friend , right from the valet services, it was top notch to the hostess, to the lobby, everything was perfect. I was blown away by the quality of service. I am already planing another visit there soonest.

We're hard to cater for, being vegan but your team went to the ends of the Earth to give us an exceptional experience with great food we enjoyed. Even the team at Dunes bent over backwards to accommodate us. Highly recommend your establishment for a personalized experience.

Excellent hotel and staff. Loved our stay there. Only down side we booked horizon room which gives cocktail lounge access but not for kids. So we could not go. They should state this on website as would not have paid the extra fee for horizon room.

I spent 5 wonderful days with my family at Shangri-la and the experience was great. I choose this place to celebrate my honeymoon and as well my mother's birthday. We were very surprised when we get in the room to find a nice wedding cake with rose petals all over the bed and we didn't know nothing about it.
And the staff very professional and nice. The location it's perfect right on the main road. A perfect open terrace on 42nd floor with spectacular views over all Dubai.
On the 4th floor there is the best ever terrace with outdoor pool with two bars with a stunning view of Burj Khalifa with two skyscrapers on the side. we've been there few times and what makes our time great over there was the waitress Madina that we know she is original from Kyrgyzstan. She was very friendly and she recommended great cocktails and we don't have enough words to thank her for giving us lovely moments that will be hard to forget.
We definitely recommend Shangri-la Dubai.

Excellent service particularly on the club floor. Good location. Professional staff. Decently priced. Noise can be an issue so ask to be away from the nightclub and any construction.

The hotel and the breakfast we're fantastic. I would specially want to thank mr.alok the manager . He was promt and very helpful since my agent cancelled my booking on arrival and I had no place to go with my family . A special thanks to Mr. Alok . I would still feel that now the hotel being old needs renovatation and upkeep.
