We had a higher expectations from the beach. Constructions are going on on a site and in the water in fronf of the beach. Horrible view. Entrance charges mama Mia was not adequate to the service. The worse part was at the end of the day when we wanted to have shower, they didn't allow us to use the gym shower. We request the manager and after 20 min discussing we had the access to the shower. Not to forget that the shower for the swimming area has one cabinet only.... We really spoiled our mood at the end of the day after so much money for using swimming facilities.
private beach sorrounded by amazing restaurants different cuisine
Top poolbar beautiful room best view of city and sea just great
Great stay, helpful staff and clean beach.
Thanks for Simo for his great support!
DO NOT BOOK!
Housekeeping is fine. Rooms were always cleaned clean.
We stayed there for 8 nights in January-February 2019, breakfast is always the same every day. The service at breakfast was an absolute nightmare, it was never cleared in time, we had to clear away the dishes used by the guest ourselves and put them on another table.
Coffee came every day without a teaspoon and without milk. You always have to ask again separately if the service comes up at some point, otherwise get up, look for milk, look for a spoon.
It is unbelievably loud, cultivation is being carried out directly on the hotel property, and a new port is being built directly in front of the hotel (sea side). Dubai harbor You never have peace, neither at noon, in the evening or at night. Everything is extremely overpriced, a beer like this Italian scrap beer costs the equivalent of about 9 (0.5l) Otherwise there are also bottled beers, all 0.33l of branded beers that are also known in Germany. for about 7-8 the bottle. At least there was free still water in the room and a coffee machine.
Very clean... But it have seen better days ... The rooms are still comfortable but the beach area is a disappointment can't balm them it's with all the constructions around
Today I was trying to spend my weekend by the beach at Le Meridien Mina Siyahi and to have a dinner there with my friend. I have the membership of this hotel, but arrived for the first time to park, usually I park at Westin hotel, never had any issues with Parking as long as u eat at there cafes/restaurants/bars, always allowed valet parking like every not even 5star hotel in Dubai, but 4star hotel as well.
So when I just got the place at the entrance security guy asked me where I m
Gonna go, I said to the beach, he said u should park outside, but I need to make Uturn, so I got in and as I wanted to eat I left my car at valet parking, where again Parking guy told me u shoul reparking your car and I said if I m gonna have the dinner can I park with the valet parking, he could not reply properly anything, I left my car and went to check in desk to get access to the beach where my friend was waiting for me and we also wanted to eat. So at check-in desk another guy pursuing me to ask reparking, so I said I want to see the policy which is NOT ALLOWED for guests to eat at the hotel with valet parking. He said it s allowed but u gonna go to the beach, I said exactly to the beach and to eat as well. What s wrong?! I paid for my annual membership and wanted to spend on the territory including beach and restaurant. So he also could not explain anything properly why it s not allowed. Then one more guy came up, his name is INESH MOHAN, told me that i should reparking my car or leave, he could not give me access and to use the valet parking even if I eat, because I also want to go to the beach. It was around 30 min, and 3:10pm, I said if I mm gonna reparking my car it will take another 30 min, he said otherwise I m gonna report u violate our rule and u gonna loose your membership for 3 months (now even worse threatening). I asked how is it possible?! For what?!! What I did wrong if I want to spend time by the beach as per my membership, eat at the restaurant (to pay money) and use valet parking service?!! Because he confirmed that if I eat at the restaurant i can use valet parking, if i go only to the beach i cannot use the valet parking. So if I want to use the valet parking and to eat, it s not possible to use valet parking?!!!
DEAR Senior managers of Le Meridien Mina Siyahi, I m kindly asking u to reply as long as your junior staff can not communicate with your guests in polite manner without threatening, why ALL HOTELS IN DUBAI, including your nearest neighbours Westin, Waldorf the Palm, Jumeirah Beach hotel and many others allow to use valet parking for their guests as long as they gonna eat there (because if u eat at the hotel u are already the guest!!!) and your hotel doesn t not allow me to use the valet parking if I want to use beach and eat simultaneously ?!!! It s ridiculous! Especially in Dubai when the competition between guests are so high and the best standards of service. Anyway I can even accept that as long as it was happened for the first time (the last as I would never ever go to your Le Meridien Mina Siyahi again), your security could tell me, u can use the valet, pls next time use other parking and that s it, no conflict. Why your staff decided they could be so IMPOLITE, RUDE, THREATENING guests without any reason, guest who gonna spend money at the territory of the hotel?!! And your security told your hotel is a popular destination, that s wrong. It s pretty old, not good service, plus impolite staff... I would never recommend to any person to stay at your hotel even for the coffee, because otherwise your stuff gonna throw your guests out. By the way your security guy while he was threatening me also he said I should shoes him a bill, everywhere it s Only stamp from the restaurant on the valet ticket, I have never seen requirement to show my OWN BILL I PAID, what kind of requirement is it?! Do u need maybe to show my bank account before I leave my car at the valet parking of your hotel?!! JUST THE WORST SERVICE IN DUBAI!!! I lost for words!
Very expensive prices and there is no modesty to wear
Eat at the Fish Tavern restaurent. Nice place. Nice staff. But a big problem with the price! The portions are tiny and the prices are extremely high for a really average quality. Count 300aed per person without alcohol for a proper meal.
That was before C19 , the beach is big and spacious with lots of walking around, the food was good and I took 30% discount for my Bonvoy membership, there are huge pools with lots of space for family fun , barasti is just a rock away and is the most busy and hip beach spot , highly recommend for a relaxing day at the beach
Nice restaurant inside. Gourmet by kcal. Gluten free
Hotel rooms are nice, especially if you get a sea view, quite spacious, clean, everything you might need for a short stay. Check in took forever, not sure if it is always, or just that day, but waited around 30min. Hotel food is average, but they serve quite nice food in Barasti Beach club which is adjacent to the hotel. They used to have beautiful beach with clear water, but now due to construction that happening in front it's quite destroyed, a lot of seaweed in the water and dirt, surface is muddy and not pleasent. They have to do something with that, otherwise this hotel its not nice as a beach hotel. Le Meridian pool is ok, nothing special, but it's good that you can use other pools of the Westin hotel which is next, so whole area is huge, you won't feel crowds, surroundings are green.
Perfect place to hangout with friends and family....loads of fun !!
Prices are reasonable
Fantastic!! A 5 star hotel ... the super attentive and friendly staff! Good location to go to the city center..near the Metro. With swimming pools and private beaches. As I went honeymoon we were very well received. The breakfast is also fantastic a lot of diversity.
Amazing beach and nice atmosphere and great service
Beach party scene was nice. Could use more vegetarian options on their menu though.
great place, everything was perfect and free wifi too available even on the beach
Location is good and has a good pub but room service an other facilities in hotel is not up to the mark.
Poor alternative to Westin or One and only Royal Mirage
A really nice and comfortable hotel with a great view. The only downside was the very loud beach bar next door. One day the pumping music continued until 3am...
Real 5 star hotel resort, pool, beach, sea activities, the room was big, clean and nice, the bed was a full sleep story
Poorest door policy in U.A.E . They've got black security guards @ barasti who only let in people who have paid them
Surreal, but very low quality buildings, no souls, just dead, so beautiful to see but at the same time disgusting, hard to describe.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were decent. I asked to move from city view to sea view because there was a lot of noise from the road at night, but unfortunately the sea view got a lot of noise from bar barasti 3 nights of the week, with thumping music til the early hours. Additionally there was (as usual in Dubai) a lot of construction work, with a new tower being erected next to the hotel. This caused building work noise all through the day, not relaxing for holiday makers. On top of this, the other towers already erected meant that the sun was blocked from the pool area and most of the beach for several hours in the day. Also there were some cats constantly roaming the grounds and the outdoor seating nearest the hotel had a constant smell of cat pee. Hotel facilities though we're good, there was a good gym, the pools were lovely and the sea was quite nice, despite the construction work.
Excellent hotel with brilliant customer care standards.
Apex in recreation as well as high comfort I would recommend to visit
Great place that we didn't get to experience! Was overbooked for new years eve.
Decent but could do with an update, theres better places to stay by adding small amount extra
Great hotel!
Great location, right on the palm island - "The Palm - Jumairah" 10 min. to the "Mall od the Emirates" and about 20 minutes to the "Dubai Mall".
From the hotel, the "Atlantis Hotel" can be seen, as well as the "Burj al Arab"!
Service is excellent, so the staff tries to make your stay super enjoyable and they manage to do so! Be it the organization of the return flight or with anything extra!
If you drove up to the lobby in a taxi etc., the door was opened every time and a warm and friendly "Welcome back, how was your trip to ..,."
The staff memorized the name or the attraction and asked how our trip was and how we, for example. found the "Burj Khalifa".
The prices were very reasonable.
Breakfast costs 25 or is included, depending on the booking.
The breakfast buffet was VERY delicious and VERY varied!
The hotel is in very good condition and offers a great vacation!
The hotel complex is huge, as the "Westin Hotel" next to it also has a very large hotel complex that guests from "Le Meridien ..." can also use for free!
The hotel ensures extremely VERY high security, so there are at least 2 lifeguards at a tiny pool!
There are even several bars that can be reached by swimming.
The facility is beautiful and offers 100% relaxation!
You can't imagine that the hotel is actually in a desert, but it does and is worth the trip!
I will come back! :)
Everything is just right here. Great pool area, great and spacious rooms, great service, nice staff and great buffets.
Nice resort with direct access to the beach . Great place to stay with family and childrens.
One of the best hotels in the city.. you get free food and drinks on platinum rooms
10 10 best customer service views food and shisha definitely recommend a full day here!
Great hotel, with even better views (get a sea side room!)
Rooms are dated and in need of remodel. 2 Construction sites on the beachside and next to hotel. The one beachside club pumps loud bass music until way too late. Tried to check out early and the front desk staff was not accommodating. We had over 5 company employees staying here and any given time for multiple days. Instead of accommodating our early checkout the manager insisted on charging us another night which contradicted the staffs comments at check in. Instead of losing a nights revenue and doing what s right for the customer, this hotel will never get our companies repeat business. Our company uses over 300 hotel nights per year in Dubai. It won t be at this property in the future.
Beautiful location directly on the beach ... large and well-kept spaces for recreation ... especially for children. Highly recommended for families.
Used to be very good but service is dropping. Still worth a stay for the beach.
