The resort is a great, very well-kept area. Generous with stunning views of the Ayeyarwaddy. The bungalows are not too close and cozy. Although not very old, some of the conservation status might need to be revised, but this applies to most hotels and facilities of this category in Myanmar.
However, the prices in the shop and restaurant are outrageous. A typical Longyi in the shop $ 29, in the village about 5,000 kyat (= about 2.50). The menu for two people in the restaurant for US $ 65, in the totally delicious Star Beam in Old Bagan for about 25,000 kyat (= about 18 ). This is a very obvious money-out-of-the-bag-of-the-tourist-draw. Therefore only 3 out of 5 points.
Tip: Explore the wonderful temples of Bagan with the e-bike for 10,000 kyat per day.

The hotel is located on the river, in a beautiful garden. Cottages equipped with a bathroom, hairdryer, kettle. Wi fi may not connect in the room, but closer to the reception is ok. Outside the house is a terrace with sun loungers, allows you to relax in a beautiful environment. For me a big plus was the delicious kitchen, a large selection of dishes and the opportunity to eat on the terrace by the river The staff is very helpful and polite, no distractions. The hotel polizenue allows hiking among pagodas. I recommend this hotel

3 very enjoyable nights. Excellent staff who were very service oriented. Wonderful views to be had while your enjoying your breakfast. A special mention for how wonderful they were - when my flight was delayed forcing me to miss the first night they just moved my reservation by one day without any additional charges.. 5 stars for that alone!

The outside of the bungalows is very nice with attractive landscaping design the inside of the bungalows are simple without a lot of decoration
The classic rooms we looked at first but were very far from the restaurant and while large were super boring

Gift shop and restaurant are a little overpriced though.

We went in off season and got a great deal... The grounds are beautiful, the pool area is stunning and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant is slightly over priced and there are no other restaurant closer than 25 minutes walk. That said, it's hard to beat the location as you can walk to a number of temples from the resort.

Seems like it's the goal of this place to milk as much money as possible from customers. Particularly appalling was charging my 5 year old son $9 for a 'baby breakfast' buffet. The restaurant was five star prices but one star quality. $36 USD for a steak in Myanmar??

The hotel is in a quiet place which has many trees with fresh air and we can see the Ayeyarwaddy River from the hotel and their service is good. The room of the hotel(Garden view and River view)two of these r very comfortable to stay in.The swimming pool is very big and we can also get 10 min free massage from the hotel,if u want more u must pay money and continue. Their breakfast is very good to eat.

Spectacular city of pagodas, temples from the year...

Spectacular city of pagodas, temples from the year 1300 to the last, in a country recently opened to tourists (Myanmar, ex Burma) and that preserves its history. Essential to do the balloon ride to observe the thousand and peak of buildings in all its splendor. Hopefully the government will respect the old Bagan and do not let build anything else and even ask to eliminate a tower of a 5 star hotel

If you take a taxi and get off the hotel, the staff are not welcome. I saw other teams checking in, but they don't open the door or move their luggage. The whole atmosphere is cramped. (No water, no welcome fruit in the room.) When I made my payment, I paid for the booking even though I paid for it at the first time. After showing the voucher, I was able to pay for the reservation and asked if I had to ask for the change. The exchange rate here is also expensive at 1570. Food is more expensive than other hotels. It is quiet from the city centre, so it's nice to see the pool. But the room is too small, the price is old, the pool is not clean. I feel like I'm stuck while swimming. (Other hotels didn't). I regret having tied it for two days. Never again.

I m giving two stars only for the view that this resort provides. Otherwise, it s pretty darn okay. Being vegetarians, we were not given much vegetarian options and on informing the management, the staff made somewhat of an effort but the food was still blah. The lunch and dinner options aren t vegetarian friendly. The spa offered here is pretty expensive for the experience. For a 1.5 hours spa, they will finish in 1 hour 10 mins and also head out of the room 1 or 2 times in between. The doors of the spa have a very transparent cloth on it so passerby s can actual see whose inside which is quite uncomfortable. A complimentary head and shoulder massage was given for 10 mins which got over in less than 7 mins and did not involve any shoulder massage. And the price quoted includes a 10% service charge (which is not worth being given for a 20 mins shorter massage). The pool had a massive infestation of mosquitoes in it. No use staying here, just drop by here for a coffee and enjoy the view.

We stayed here for four fantastic nights while we explored the temples of Bagan. The room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The pool area is great with a large area to relax while enjoying the huge swimming pool.
The food was simply delicious as was the fresh juices. They have their own organic vegetable garden supplying the restaurant with clean healthy veggies and fruit. I managed to have a deep tissue oil massage which was just what I needed after a big day exploring the temples. The staff were so helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in Bagan, well located for sightseeing. Splendid panorama on the river offering magical sunsets. The proximity of the water causes the noise of the engines of the boats very early in the morning. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good restaurant with a full buffet for breakfast.

The best swimming pool.

The best swimming pool.
Friendly staff.
The air condition in the rooms is also very good.
However, the extra costs (meals and e-bike rentals) are a little expensive.
There is nothing to walk about 10 minutes away.
Unless you are enjoying the resort pool, this is not the place.

An afternoon was spent here enjoying cocktails and watching the sunset. Be aware pool costs $12US for a swim. Drinks obviously a bit more expensive than surrounding areas - $6USD at happy hour and snacks will set you back a little bit more. Pool is a great temp though and I d say the extra cost is a small price to pay for an afternoon of luxury - not to mention one of the best views of a sunset outside a pagoda

Located between Rome and Tivoli it offers itself as a link between the province and the city. In its long shopping arcades shops and restaurants alternate. Very clean and well heated in winter, cool in summer. Valid solution for two steps in a sheltered environment.
