Very nice hotel. Great location, atmosphere and selections of FOOD!
Everything is the perfect hotel
I stayed for 4 days
I received a massage every day.
Best pools in Mandellay
Very nice hotel, well located just by the foot of Mandalay Hill. Rooms are clean and well maintained. They also have good F&B options. It is one of the good options to stay while in Mandalay.
Good place, nice service, but some facilities are old fashion.
Room too small. Bathroom to renovate. Very average European meal certainly not homemade and very expensive. Beautiful pool.
Excellent customer service with smiles all around. Enjoyed the executive lounge on the suite floor.
It's a nice place. I love the bar and the BBQ especially
Hotel with beautiful garden and great
View to Mandalay Hill.
Flatters to deceive - rooms are OK'ish ( it was the Sofitel previously I believe ) but nothing special - pool area excellent
Watch out for the bar/cafe staff giving you change in "soiled" USDollars which you are unable to use. This could be why the lighting is so low in there!
Great property. Amazing pool area and convenient to all the sites. The staff are extremely friendly and willing to help. There are three restaurants to choose from and I would recommend spending one night at the BBQ and dance performances. The food is good at all the restaurants, nothing exceptional but good quality. Spring for a suite, the executive lounge is worth the additional cost (which is very affordable) there is food and drinks available all day. Cocktails in the evening. There are bikes to rent if you want to ride to all the sites. Very easy except for Mandalay Hill, walk or get a car.
Aging room and uncomfortable bathroom + dollar factory
Bof bof, an old hotel not at all modern. You can feel the weight of the years hanging over the rooms. The bathroom and really rubbish. It feels like a very bad cheap bnb air in Barcelona. The garden and pool are really good and the view of Mandalay Hill is amazing. At night we see the illuminated pagodas. The breakfast is also quite varied. So everything except the rooms.
Very comfortable. Excellent service, excellent food
The rooms were very small and the bathrooms old. The toilets were stained. But the breakfast and dinner buffet was delicious and the staff is very friendly
Magnificent and beautiful hotels, but the other side to drain dirty water outside
If we locate very good and common spaces (SPA and pool) very well. The rooms below the rest
Very Nice Service.
The spa place is very beautiful. The best place I like in Burma. and massage is perfect.
I've visited for the first time to this place and it's very nice. You can now see the atmosphere of Mandalay from skyline view.
The new management team is now working to make things better though everything looks the same like before. The security guards are working hard. And it seems more disciplined.
Previously known as Novotel and then Mandalay Hill Resort Hotel.
Changed as Mercure Hotel in 2018 after different operator.
Possess the panoramic view of Mandalay Hill and pagodas, Mandalay Palace and moat, Mandalay Hill Golf course and Mandalay Division Parliament building.
Fantastic swimming pool and gym are in the back of building.
Event halls for academic, business and social purposes are standard.
Good catering service is provided.
A very relaxing space. This hotel maintains a high sense of style, luxury, and comfort. The rooms facing the front are a little on the small side, but are well laid out and comfortable. Showers have excellent water pressure. Try to get a room on the other side though - these are a little larger, offering sweeping views of the pool and pagodas - probably worth any price difference. The breakfast buffet is over the top. The dinner buffet looked good too, but did not get to try. Also, if your schedule permits, catch the "Happy Hour" at the Spa - on offer 9-17:00 which offers a 50% discount. Be sure to leave yourself lots of time at checkout, as the already slow elevators become choked by the bellmen trying to get everyone's bags down. Would stay here again, hopefully to get some use of the fabulous pool area.
Recommend to go there November December January temperature beautiful there
It is good in there there is a swimming pool and a spa you tourist would love to go there It is kind of good bot just kind very food
Nice pool and bar area
Good restaurant.
Bad room with bad quality pillows (I didn't sleep for 2 nights). and without proper room tidying service.
It is aromantic and historical place of last Myanmar kingdon.
The rooms on the Mandalay hillside have very beautiful views. The service of D Spa has a unique private room.
One of the nice hotel at Mandalay near by famous Myanmar archelogical places and view of Moat underneath of Mandalay hill.
Good place, good location just only some point need to be improve.
Very nice area with large, clean rooms. The staff is very friendly, helpful and helpful. It is not far from here to the former royal palace and Mandalay Hill, from which one has a beautiful view of the city and the former royal palace.
A very nice and traditionally decorated hotel. Beds are comfy. Rooms are spacious. The bathrooms are "tight" though. Only rain shower. But most of all, one major letdown is the hotel wifi. It can't stream videos and it's most of the time off and on (mostly off). Sucks for a 4.5 star hotel, I'll say.
Awesome, wonderful place to stay, very nice and helpful staff
There is nothing to get rid of except the bathroom. There is no reason why the bathroom is so big, but being too small and feeling cramped is like Oguti as a five star hotel. Breakfast is also good and the landscape is good.
It is an excellent hotel with very good services, totally recommended
4 star hotel. Friendly service and prices are slightly cheap . Swimming pool , spa, and restaurants are attracting the foreigners' attention. It's perfect for business discussions . I recommend 5 stars. You can get infos below. These are not from website. I captured on my own.
Nice hotel convenient situated near the temples of Mandalay. One can have a relaxing walk along the road to the temples nearby or challenge oneself to the exercise of walking up the Mandalay hill to the famous pagoda at the top.
Do bring a small backpack with some water and a small plastic bag to put your shoes in if you are not going to have faith in the other tourists and leave your shoes before entering any of the temples.
Short tops, shorts and berms are not allowed in the temples too.
Traditional royal style decor. Lot's of places to capture beautiful moments. Walking distance from Mandalay Hills. May need a bit of maintenance.
Outstanding. Efficient and friendly. International approach. Stunning views of Mandalay Hill and its temples. Can-can culture. And they go the extra mile if you ask politely.
Still a top address in Mandalay - I was just there with a 15-person group - quiet location at the foot of the Mandalay Hills - very nice pool and gardens - although not a new hotel, rooms in top condition - well-rehearsed staff , friendly and efficient - proven management - breakfast available from 5 pm.
Beautiful place nice food staff to pamper you can go there without other recommended Olivier
It stands on a hill and has a good view. This is a great hotel in the area around Mandalay which is expensive but worth the price. There are various facilities such as a spa and a swimming pool. Personally, I felt that this was better than the surrounding Hilton. This is a hotel you should definitely visit if you visit Mandalay.
Good hotel but not so central. Only a few options nearby.
I have never lived, and the great country has lived. Just remember, have a chance to cook
No one had ever known, The theme will be good peaceful place
Good view
Very elegant
Taste is superb
Great service
Large parking space
A 3 stars hotel with a 5 stars service. They have extremely helpful managers and you will always can feel the warm hospitality. Must stay!!
Cozy and quaint place where you can sense the feeling of staying in the garden of old palace of Mandalay.
A memorable hotel. It just so happened that a bunch of military generals were throwing a party with performances by many Burmese pop stars. We crashed the party and had a great time!
Staff is good, plumbing is in good repair, facilities are nice, wifi is moderate speed.
