Overpriced beverages and food! Pillars in the way of everything.

Loved the globe therter. Give u a great idea of how times was back then. Our tour giude gave us a lot of information about how people came to the therter ect. Lots of activities to do one is learning how to sord fight. In the meusium part lots of intresting things to see. 10/10

An essential experience for Londoners and visitors to London alike.

Very cool. It was neat seeing the actors walking around the crowd. 5 pounds for standing room.

Anyone interested in theater must have been here! Had a great tour through the Globe Theater with guide, I visit the exhibition again and take a few hours and the audio guide - so much exciting information ...

An experience of a lifetime. Was a groundling for a play and despite standing the whole time I thoroughly enjoyed the play.

Visited with school, the workshop was not great for youth

A wonderful place to visit. The theatre's are iconic and it's such a wonderful position on the Thames,affording amazing views across to St Paul's.

I like the Swan, it's a lovely place with impeccable interiors, food and service. I've been for a brunch, a roast and an evening dinner and would recommend the brunch over the other meals I've tried. It's easily the most affordable and you'll leave satisfied, though the others are great too if you're looking to splash out a bit more!

Amazing theatre with the classic Shakespeare plays, a must visit for anyone visiting London. One of my highlights. Even took the pleb option of buying a standing room only ticket, tiring on the legs but very unique.

Informative fun and good for all ages. Be warned lots of stairs

Do the tour which runs every 30 minutes. Lasts about 40 min but you can go inside the theater

Blew me away. The performance of a Midsummer Night's Dream was wonderful and engaging. The Theatre itself takes you back in time in a magical way. I found the staff very helpful

Fantastic place, love coming here. You'll be happy to know that during the winter there is also a hall inside the building that is often used for productions. Almost cancelled worrying I would be out in the freezing cold last time but so glad I didn't!

Graceless production of Hamlet. Very dull excessively overworked gender-reassignment happening all over the place. The theatre emptied fast ....

I did not see the interior, but I liked the exterior and I found it pretty, as well as important for the great personality to which it is dedicated.

I love the Globe. I am a Friend so get my tickets early. Always pick the same seat. Go to every production to I can, inc the non Shakespeare shows. When the crowd get involved, best theatre experience you can have. You can get involved and be the London mob or boo the baddies. Theatre as it was and should be.

Visited the indoor globe and was stunned that it was all candlelit! I spent the first half searching to find any other light source. Unfortunately that also tells you something of the quality of the play, The Captive Queen. Not very captive. Half time drinks were pricey too, but that's the theatre for you.
Overall, quite an experience.

It is a special experience to reproduce the scenes and performances of the Shakespeare era.

A trully unique experience! The theatre in it self is fantastic and the performance of "Much Ado about nothing" was very, very good!

An unmissable centre of the Shakespeare experience. Meticulously researched and restored, it even rewards the casual visitor attending away from performance times, as backstage tours are readily available. These tours are not cheap, but they are expertly led.

Go on a good day weather wise. For obvious reasons!!! (It's not got a roof on the theatre, even 400 years after it was "built" )

It is the Globe. Open air theatre where they do Shakespeare old school. Also has a really good indoor theatre, entirely lit by candles.

Amazing museum and working at house. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. The tour sell out quickly so I would recommend going for a tour earlier than later.

I was very disappointed because the visit coincided at the same time with 5 school visits, making it impossible to hear the guide's explanations. It is very expensive for what it is. I do not recommend it.

One of my surprise favorites. Take a guided tour using the 2 for 1 pass (google it). Funny and interesting look back into history of the time when the theatre was originally built. Highly suggested.

Not much to see without having to pay for a guided tour.

I liked it, but they couldn't do the tour in another language. Suggestions: set schedules and days for other languages, and publish it. I could adapt my schedule to tour.

The current building is a reconstruction of the Globe theater, built approximately 230m from the original theater building (built in 1599).

Amazing experience to watch a play there, a magical experience that makes you feel in the past.

The first time I went to the Globe, I stood in the front and had a great time. The second time, I stood in the back and couldn't see or hear anything. If you go, it's worth springing for actual seats that you can sit in. It's a great experience for the history, and the acting quality is very good, but it's hard to appreciate when you stand for four hours. #Oktoberwurst

Great experience! Loved the performance--all 1st class acting! Agree with the other suggestions about renting a seat! Bench seating can be hard on the bottom after awhile-- looking forward to visiting again soon!

Seeing this was one of my dreams and it did not dissapoint

Amazing experience to see Shakespeare in the same environment as it would have been, at least, as close as you can get. If you're a bard buff then this is absolutely worth the price of admission.

I only got to visit on a tour, but the tour guide Fred did a great job passionately speaking the virtues of the theatre, it is a shame that I didn't have a chance to stay for a play.

I'd probably bring a cushion though, some of those benches give cheap seats at a ballpark a run for their money.

Great place so busy with tours and show and pormance this time of year.

The Shakespearean theater has been rebuilt relatively recently and is a must experience on a visitor's route to London.
