Modern reconstruction of the theater in which Shakespeare's company recited, of which numerous representations are on the bill. Central open-air platform, overlooked by three orders of loggias with tiers and a beautiful central covered stage. Reconstructed in wood according to the seventeenth century building canons, with a thatched roof. It offers historical and educational aspects.

Excellent reconstruction of the Shakespeare theater located very close to the Milenium Bridge. The staff was very friendly. Ideal for all of us who are romantics of literature. It is a place with its own soul, even if it is a reconstruction. It is missing some audio guide in other languages, or an app with access to Spanish ... but that is not surprising in London. I recommend it.

Buy a five Euro stop ticket and you can see them performing Shakespeare's plays!
Each of them can sing and perform very well, and this time they will let the audience choose the show to watch, and then they will perform immediately after selection, super admiration.
This time I saw The comedy of error, it was wonderful The actor will also come to the station ticket area to talk to the stage. It is very close to the audience. The station ticket area is worth it, but you need to wear a good pair of shoes!
In addition, because it is easy to rain in London, the station ticket is in the middle of the amphitheatre, it may be rained, and the umbrella of the performance cannot block the eyes of other audiences, so it is best to prepare a raincoat.

I was lucky to see one of the last performances of Hamlet at the the end of world tour. The actors are amazing, with so much energy and self-sacrifice one can rarely see in American theaters. On April 23 , 2016 it was very cold day and groundlings were really shivering, still actors performed at full energy and passion. Unforgettable!

Even if you are not a massive Shakespeare fan it is well worth visiting this reconstruction of the Globe Theatre to see a performance. If its not raining pick up a cheap standing ticket, and experience Shakespeare like the plebs did back in the day

One of the highlights of our London trip. Saw Romeo and Juliet and it was amazing standing in front of the stage like people would have done back in the day. The performance was incredible too. Just remember it's an open air theatre so if you opt for standing tickets be prepared for rain just in case!

Had a fabulous evening at the Globe watching 12th Night. The atmosphere was electric. The 12th Night production was a surprise as I expected it to be just a play, but it was also presented in song & dance. I'm not normally a fan but I was very pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. I think it would have been a bit overlong had it just been in a play format so the current presentation worked superbly. The cast worked their socks off, including the musicians. A marvellous production well worth a visit. Don't bother wuth the cocktails, ours wwre tasteless, served by a completely disinterested young man. Also London's night skyline did not disappoint on way to station! The ladies toilet facilities need increasing, very long queues, given the interval is only 15 minutes long. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great community, but too many bugs. Multiplayer is sometimes laggy, but generally fine. The real problem is the input lag, the devs really need to fix it. fine graphics, a bit on the cartoony side, but its alright most of the time. the dlc is overpriced for the amount of content you get. Seriously the Dlc is 2 new guns and 3 skins and 1 mission. online macthmaking is broken, but i really play for the split screen, which is sadly only ok. there was a lot of potential here, but the devs killed it with poor updates and bugs.

Saw a great performance of The Comedy of Errors last Sunday. I usually enjoy the directing and the performance every time we visit, and this was no different. Tickets are well priced as well. It's worth renting a little cushion for the seats.

I have accompanied classes to watch 2 different plays at the Globe. Both times I thoroughly disliked it.

The music in there is amplified but the actors do not have their voices amplified. The moment they turn or move away you stop hearing them. Most of them speak too fast and with little concern for their diction. It's as if they don't care whether we understand them or not.

The vast majority of the people I speak to understand very little of the play. They just say they like the experience. If I go to a play, I want to hear it properly so I can understand it. The actors should have been a lot better - it's the showroom of Shakespeare. We expected better.

Also, three hours standing, with cold and rain - it's London - makes for a miserable time if you ask me. I enjoyed the experience of accompanying my students to something which wasn't part of my subject. But the theatre? It sucks!

The Globe is the greatest place to visit while you're in London, promising peerless Shakespearean acting, matchless atmosphere, and the kind of deep history that other attractions can only yearn for.

It was great to soak in the reconstruction of the theater built by Shakespeare. The tour is only in English, but free brochures are available which explain in broad terms what you are visiting.

If you're a fan of Shakespeare, this is a must visit. There is a 40-minute guided tour that offers a unique history with fun anecdotes of The Globe Theatre as well as Shakespeare's time. The souvenir store has cute memorabilia and there are hourly shows of sword-play, costume dress up etc.

Disappointed that you can't walk around the museum freely anymore and you have to pay. I understand funding cuts, but it's a shame and feels like only those able to spend money on a ticket whenever can see it which isn't most of us. But it's a beautiful building, museum is fascinating and plays phenomenal

I really Ioved that museum. The museum starts with exhibition. After that the tour starts about the history of the theatre and Shakespeare's role on that. The tour guide lady was very lovely. Afterwards, you are able watch a theatre play in indoor theatre like Shakespeare's time. So 3 of them included in one ticket. I think it worths the money.

A great museum in London . If you want to know more about the times when Shakespeare lived in London , that's the perfect place to go . Recommend also the theater to see a play , and the coffee shop inside .

I booked tickets 4 weeks in advance to see Hamlet at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and I can say that it was definitely money well spent. The Theatre is really really nice and situated in the center of the city so you can get the chance to visit few things before heading to this place. The building is beautiful enough to be visited by day, but I highly recommend booking tickets in advance for a play. The actors were great, the atmosphere incredible. For sure coming back!

Anyone who loves anything about Shakespeare will love this tour. Great guide and you get to go into the theatre. If you're lucky there will be performers there and you can watch them a bit as they rehearse. As a teacher I was wanting more educational material from the Gift Shop.
Mostly it's some books and Shakespearean quotes on gift items and tshirts. Eat at the Swan Bar and restaurant. Excellent food and beverages. Great visit.

Always a fantastic experience to see a show at the Globe theatre. Especially magical to see Mark Rylance as Iago. If rain is forecast, and you are standing, bring your waterproofs! Doesn't ruin the experience at all, but best to be comfortable!

Much ado about nothing was fantastic. Great fun for the young people who are studying the play. Easy for everyone to see Shakespeare's intention and sense of mischief. Good job by the dramatist and devisor. Thanks from my family to the sponsors also.

Even if you don't like Shakespeare, see the Globe. Seeing a performance in the Globe is quite possibly one of the most unique experiences you could have in London. Sam Wannamaker has done a brilliant job at restoring the theatre to how it More
