Fascinating to be taken into the world of Shakespeare by an excellent guide.

Guided tour: It was just a walk into what they think would be like the Shakespeare theatre. It's a tourist trap, however you get to learn about the Shakespeare time.

I love performing arts, sad thing though they did not have any plays scheduled during my visit there but overall still loved it!

If you are a fan of Shakespeare, please buy tickets! Otherwise just renovate the building!

Great Shakespeare shows in the copy of the original theatre,reasonable prices must book in advance.

Buy a standing ticket and a beer, lean on the stage and enjoy

Beautifully acted plays in a venue that transports you to a different era. A must if you're a fan of drama and in London!
Buy the tickets online well before your trip to ensure you get nice seats.

The shows were good and the toilets and other areas were really clean and pleasant

Its a bit too expensive to get inside for the tour.

Saw The Merchant of Venice here,, felt like I was right back in the time it was written, even if you don't have time for a show it is worth a visit!

Lovely way to spend an afternoon. The guided tour is worth taking part in, as it gives an interesting glimpse of history.

You can see the show like they saw the show 500 years ago (Shakespeare period), really amazing experience, I highly recommend

Two visits both excellent. Actually worth sitting in the pit for a more intimate experience.

Couldn't go into the Richard III performance as my friend was suddenly unwell, went to the box office and they said they were unable to give us any tickets for another performance or a voucher, overall I thought this was a little mean and not a great customer experience.

I loved this tour. Though not the original building, the developers did a wonderful job recreating what the orginal Globe Theater would have looked like. On the tour, you learn about the history of the building, facts about Shakespeare and his plays, and an overview of the lives of people would lived in London at the time. My only regret was that I did not schedule enough to also see a live play performed in the theater.

An essential part of any visit to London, worth attending once a year as a resident. Huge respect for Sam Wannamaker who deservedly has the adjacent theatre named for him.

Would strongly recommend sitting down rather than standing!! Was in quite a lot of pain for the second half of A Mid Summer Night's Dream, but the excellent performance and the laughing sure did distract me from my achey feet.

GREAT TOUR! We not only seen so much but learned so much.

Beautiful theatre and great production I saw the Merry Widows of Windsor. We had reserved seats as opposed to standing. I think it was worth it. Traveling with group of students and some we're able to interact with the performers at beginning of performance. Made it a truly impressive experience for them Loved it

Whilst the seats might be a tad uncomfortable the experience is focused on authentic rather than super comfort! The whole experience is fabulous

Great place to see quality plays for not much money if you don't mind standing for a few hours.

Still one of the great places on the planet to see theater. I think the city has done an excellent job of keeping it in good condition without altering too much of it.

I did the vinspired eco talent project a few months back in harrow and we went to the globe theatre for the award/ presentation ceremony. we had a presentation and then we had drinks and canopies. we also got to listen to some music and the building was in a prime location in central London where we could see the river Thames from the balcony.

Absolutely wonderful. Have seen several performances there and they took my breath away. A beautiful walk in history.

The theatre is very traditional and there are always great and classical plays happening there. The tickets are expensive but at end, everything is fine.

Iconic reconstruction of Shakespeare's globe theatre, although apparently not on the exact same site of the original. Go for a guided tour as this will give you an overview of the history of the place, how plays were put on in the old days and other fascinating facts.

Went to a work Xmas Party in the large function room. Lovely Midsummer Night's Dream feel to it, excellent food and an all round great experience

One of the worst experience i had. There s one employee who was very offensive with my friend her name is Kate don t deal with her.

Pray good sir, dont pay for the standing.. pay more to sit.... ( it f-ing hurts to stand for so long and I'm short so saw nothing lol)

Thoroughly enjoyed being a Groundling in the Voters' choice of Twelfth Night.

I always enjoy visiting the globe. The theatre tour is interesting and informative and the performances are magnificent. The various adaptations of Shakespeare's plays are well thought out and truly engage the audience. I would definitely recommend standing in the Yard to view a performance at least once, but wear comfy shoes and, if you are not able to stand for a couple of hours, book early, as seating is snapped up quickly.

One of my favorite spot in London. Rebuilt on the real Shakespeare's Globe, productions are always worth the experience. I have seen already 5 or 6 of them and I have never been disappointed: creative, thought provoking, inspiring. A must do if you are in London. Online booking works well.

It's the Globe. Very little can be added to that. Happy and friendly staff, fantastic performances, and a venue that needs to be experienced.

All the performances I've seen have been excellent, as long as you're not standing in the rain! The student tour was also very fun and informative.

Incredible to watch Hamlet at the Globe theatre. The atmosphere within the theatre was amazing, even in the rain it's an experience of a lifetime!

We took a party of year 5 & 6 children for the tour and workshop. Fabulous place, well worth a visit and a very entertaining and enlightening workshop - it brought the play to life for the kids and made them want to know more.

This is a fascinating attraction. I usually hate having to be on guided tours, but the man we had today was wonderful. I think he must have been an actor. It was very informative. I would recommend this to anyone.

This re-creation is a must see for any Shakespeare fan. Out tour guide was funny and informative.

There are exhibits to keep you entertained while waiting for the tour to start with cool artifacts. There was an activity guide for kids that I really appreciated.

And I could have gone broke at the gift shop. So many wonderful things to buy.

standing room is cheap and offers great views if you have the stamina

Loved it loved the person out our guide I believe was one of the best and take once again Shakespeare globe don't need to add anything else if you go to London you have to go see it

It is a sensational place, situating in one of the most enchanting area of London. The Globe offers the best surrounding to the Shakespearean plays. It feels like being back in time in the golden age of London.

Really cool tour, we will come back to see an actual play

There's no other place like. Fabulous theatre even in the rain. And the men's toilets have a urinal and a Dyson Blade dryer set at young child height.

It was a very friendly place, had afternoon tea with my sister in law, would recommend it to anyone

Did The Globe tour with a toddler and it was great. The guide was knowledgeable and engaging, the theatre is fantastic!
