Probably one of the cheapest and most impressive theaters in London, with a great exhibition and loads of Shakespeare stuff on sale in the shop. And the actors and actresses really do love their job and show that in everything they do.

I went here 3 times in the span of 2 days that s how much I liked it. First came to have the tour around the globe with a very relaxed and interactive tour guide. When we went in, they were having a final rehearsal for the new play Eyam premiering the next night.

The place was incredible as well. Sam Wannamaker and the team behind the project did an excellent job. The acoustics of the theater were unbelievable. An open theater seating over a thousand people, but no amplifiers necessary and the players could be heard perfectly crisp. The place is also very accommodating for people of various needs. What struck me the most is the branding beautiful and tasteful!

A must do! So cool to just be inside the theatre & look around, really beautiful. We went recently & it was SUPE cold :( Might be a good idea to save it for a summery evening. We saw 'Imogen' & it was fantastic! Food/drinks a little pricey.

It is good to get an idea of what the real theater was like in which Shakespeare presented a large part of his plays. Also for a super cheap price you can still access to see representations

If you're interested in Shakespeare, then this
is a must. The building, the atmosphere, and
the plays, all come together. A lot going on.

To be clear we took the tour but did not see a show here. The tour was pretty cool. It is a theatre that is modeled after the classic Shakespeare era theatre. It was very interesting hearing the history of the London area, history of Shakespeare, and history of the globe theatre. Some interactive displays were fun. Good for small kids too. Wish we could have seen a show.

Very atmospheric. Seeing the play performed how it was originally makes a huge difference - the nuances that were theoretical discussions at GCCE are real and understandable in the flesh.
Practically, decide if you want to stand for 3 hours in whatever the weather throws at you (and frankly a hot sunny day is sunburn central) or get a seat. The size of the theatre is deceptive - it has a capacity of 3000 but doesn't look that big. Most seats have clear views of the stage

An excellent performance of As You Like It we thoroughly enjoyed bthe ambience . It is a unique experience to hear a play with no amplification. The whole play was lifted by the live music providing the backdrop to the action.

In the heart of London, this theatre is a must visit place when you are visiting the city.
Plenty of restaurants in the vicinity.
The theatre is traditionally English.
If you intend to watch a show make sure you also pay for cushions as the seats are wooden and hard.
We watched Henry the 5 play, and the casts were brilliant. If you like Shakespearean play, this is a place to visit.
Prices are reasonable
Will visit a again.

We came over here from London Tower on the water bus, which in and of itself is pretty cool. The Globe has a museum underneath talking about plays back in Shakespeare's day and the guided tour. Both are worth the money, our guide was excellent and we got to go up to the top floors and down in front of the stage. I learned a lot and rather enjoyed it. Its definitely worth a stop.

The globe is not located at the original location of the theater, but is a very beautiful reconstruction of it, made alive by dynamic guides. Only regret: being out of season and not being able to see a room in this beautiful building.

It was a nice tour and I found it very interesting. The guide was very friendly, funny and was very knowledgeable. I recommend seeing a show if you are in season and the weather is good, I was not so lucky

Did the tour on Sunday and had a really lovely time. Our tour guide, Judith was simply lovely and a very engaging story teller, she made the tour thoroughly enjoyable. The building is beautiful and I now wish to return and see a production.

I came here on a school trip, and I have been wanting to come back ever since! It is a stunning place, boasting spectacular views of London. We also learned lots about this magnificent, and historically rich theatre, with the help of the lovely, helpful staff. This is a must visit attraction for anyone in or around London!

As amazing to experience as you think it'll be. No matter the play, well worth the cost to see this large bit of history. Bring a poncho if you're in the yard. For a seat I'd recommend the back row; still a great view and you have something to lean back on.

The venue is superb, and nice reconstruction (1998) to the previously burnt down original. Highly recommend attending a live showing (usually at 7:30pm, with some days also at 2:30pm). We were able to get tickets on the day, and got the More
