I have contracted with Service One for 30+year and...

I have contracted with Service One for 30+year and never been more upset than currently. They came out to service my dryer and did a great job however at the same time I had them check the agitation in my washing machine. They replaced the agitator but indicated the transmission of the unit was going out and due to the age could not be repaired and I would need to purchase a new on. I specifically asked if it would still work and they indicated a little better than it had but would ultimately need to be replaced. The second load of laundry I did in the machine resulted in the agitator flying out of the machine with enough force to open the lid and land on the floor. Clearly they had not appropriately attached. This could have seriously hurt someone! I called today to have them come out and fixed what in my opinion was their fault and was told they would not as machine was condemned and would no longer be serviced by them. I have paid for my "Gold" plan faithfully for 30+ years. They should not be able to pick and choose what they deem can be fixed without coming out to access. I only want them to come back and fix what they did in error. This looks like it would only take someone who knows what they are doing 10 minutes to reassemble and attach correctly. I would no longer recommend them to anyone. As soon as I can identify a service to replace them I will. I am open to anyone's recommendations.
