Larry did a great job. There were issues with our thermostat and our furnace and it was not fixed right the first time. He came and not only fixed it but noticed that there where a couple other tweaks to help us use our furnace more efficiently. he could have gone home quickly but chose to stay and get the job done right.

Alan came out at almost midnight on a Saturday because our furnace wasn't working. He was extremely professional and didn't come off like being out that late was an inconvenience. Went out of his way to let us know everything that he did, what we needed to do in the future, and even made a suggestion about getting our water heater serviced, when he didn't have to. Very happy with his service, and our ServiceOne home warranty plan.
I would not waste my money on a service warranty with this company. They will do everything in their power to not honor it. Also they will make you wait in extreme temperatures without ac. My ac has gone out not only once this year but twice and each time they have made us wait 5 days before they came to fix it. I would steer clear of this company horrible service and business ethics!
Mike has worked on my water heater two times and has done a fantastic job. I had to get a replacement water heater the second time because my water heater was super old and started leaking from the bottom. They replaced it very quickly and did a great job!

Alan D from ServiceOne was here on time. He quickly found the problem was an oxidized flame detector which he cleaned and that solved the issue. He also checked other items which were OK or needed minor repairs. Finally, he gave me good advice regarding pleated filters and their benefits. Satisfied customer.
This is the 2nd year in a row that Service One, on their winter furnace inspection, has tried to strongarm my Mother into having them replace her furnace by telling her that the heat exchanger is cracked. Neither time has this been the case, verified by follow up visits by "reputable", local HVAC companies. Truly pathetic act. To top it off they turned the gas of and red-tagged the furnace, leaving my 70-year-old Mother with no heat, FOR NO GOOD REASON.
Ryan came out, on Christmas of all times, to fix our furnace that had decided to start acting up on Christmas morning. It took all of 20 minutes, but he had our house toasty and comfortable in no time. In these times, be sure to thank those who are out right now away from their families during the holiday. Joaquin Roman came to our home to repair our stove. He was very friendly, diagnosed our problem, ordered the parts and came back for repair. In addition, he assisted us by adding our applicances to our contract that we didn t know we could add. Very pleased with his service and going above and beyond.

Called ServiceOne due to my furnace not performing correctly. Angela, the lady at the office was great. Honest, professional and answered any and all questions even if to the common person sounded ridiculous. She got me right onto the schedule with no pressures, even answered my return call after thinking over my options that she educated me on. Maybe an hour later, Alan came out to take a look. Alan was also professional in his diagnosis while at the same time, giving me some educational tips. He was no BS and had my furnace up and running in 30 minutes. I won't hesitate to call ServiceOne in the future if I need to.

Your technician, Ryan, finally was able to figure out the problem with my humidifier. Not only did he fix the problem but went out of his way to wipe down all of the water on the floor surrounding the furnace. He was very professional, friendly and truly know his profession! I would also like to commend Morganne, the first tech that looked at it. She was so thorough in her work and explaining what was wrong and covering parts under the warranty. Very professional! The first time they came out they were prompt and kind. They explained everything so I could understand and explained the process of getting and bringing back the parts.
When they returned with the parts again they called ahead and were prompt. Tyrell was very kind and professional. He even went above and beyond and adjusted the position of our dishwasher so it might in correcting the problem.

After purchasing a home warranty I had some electrical issues. This was the start of many trips to my home as they couldn't seem to get it together. First trip, they couldn't figure out the issue and said they'd be back. They never set up the appointment i was promised and had to call back in and explain to the call center what was going on. They tried to refuse a second trip as the service techs didnt leave any notes on my account. Second trip they wired the light in my young children's room on without any way to turn it off. When I called in, the solution I was offered was just unscrew the bulb!
I had to push hard to speak to a supervisor because the electricians claimed that it was that way when they arrived at my home. Really, there was a ceiling fan and they took it down and replaced it with a 25 cent plastic light socket without a ground. Also, they left the nasty dusty fan on my son's bedding.
After further investigation, they wired the two biggest circuits together in my house leaving a total of 35 amps on a 20 amp breaker. If I turned everything on and the breaker failed, I would have had a house fire. They claimed they could put it back and then charge me to do it the right way.
I had to run a length of romex myself so that I could avoid paying for them refusing to honor their home warranty if they had to do their work up to code.
Nasty customer service if one of their field employees are at fault. They will never offer an apology, just a fix of just have your young kids unscrew the light bulb if you can no longer use the wall switch!
The end result is they refunded my warranty. I suppose service one doesn't like to be held to any high standard.
ServiceOne takes care of our HVAC equipment and Cliff G. Did an outstanding job. Prior arrival notification, On time, very professional. Everything you prefer in a Service provider.

Alan is wonderful tech. He asked lots of questions about our AC problem and was able to detect & repair the issue in great time. He even took the time to show & explain the problem. He was so nice. I hope all your techs take a page from his customer service book. He rates a 10+++ with us.
Alan was very professional and thorough with our seasonal furnace maintenance. He answered our questions about the equipment efficiency, reviewed the equipment checklist he used for the maintenance and set expectations for a repair he needed to order parts for.
We had a window from 8 to 12 for the tech to show up. Tony D came around 9am. We had two little barking dogs and Tony was friendly with them. Our AC hadn't been working for a couple of days so we finally called ServiceOne. Tony found out we needed a new capacitor. It took him about 5 minutes to get it done and now our house is cooling down! We have a service agreement with ServiceOne for our AC and heating. They have done a lot of work for us and it is always excellent, and timely!
ServiceOne has recently fixed my dryer and air conditioner. Both techs were friendly, fast, and efficient. This insurance is worth it! We would have had to pay over $1,000 to get both of these items fixed. The only reason I cannot give 5 stars is that it takes them several days to actually come to your home. We waited 6 days for our air conditioner to be fixed when it was over 90 degrees outside.
Consistent response, on time, polite & answer questions when applicable. Reasonable prices. Considering other crafts fees they are very good for the work

I ve been a Service One customer since purchasing my first home in 1990 and continued to be impressed with the professional technicians and value I get with my plan. Alan and Jason did stellar work to get my furnace working again!
They made us endure four weeks without our dishwasher, in the middle of a pandemic when we are focusing on sanitizing everything. Their repair man said we needed one part-which was going to a take week to get here. Then when that part finally shows up, the company has ordered the wrong part!! Two weeks later, we are still waiting. The part finally arrived BUT they made us wait another week to install it!! The customer service flat out told us We won t approve a new dishwasher because it costs too much. We have been loyal customers for 10+ years. We have given Service One thousands of dollars. After this, we are canceling our service. DO NOT expect you will get your money s worth or that your appliances will be fixed on time.
