I have used Service Wizard numerous times for A/C repair in my home and my rental property. They have always been prompt, professional and courteous. And the best part is they tend to be much cheaper than their competition. I strongly recommend Service Wizard for any A/C repair or maintenance.

I've never left a review for anything, but the amazing/affordable/quick work that Service Wizard performed inspired me.

My outside AC unit was not working when I woke up this morning, I called Service Wizard at 7:50 am, by 10:10 am, the work was completed. There was no upselling and the cost was a fraction of a price that I expected after reading reviews for other companies. I would rate them 10 stars if I could. I will never use anyone else. Thank you soo much Service Wizard!!

Service Wizard has provided expert maintenance for years. As our 15 year old systems showed signs of failure, Service Wizard provided prompt, detailed, and transparent options for replacement. Two systems were expertly installed by careful teams. Clean up was great. The quote was fair. The systems perform as represented.

Service Wizard arrived the next day with a really competitive quote for installation of 2 new complete Trane units with furnace and install it the next day. Took less than 6 hrs. Highly recommended for professional service.

Upon doing detailed research for a new A/C and air-handler for our home, we decided on this company. They met a very short window request for install because our 18 year old A/C unit had died. In addition to getting this professional install done, the 2 installer's (Daniel and Brian) were on time and cleaned up after themselves within our home and load-up of the old unit. Very professional and would recommend them hands down.

Wow. Called at 7:30AM, got a technician here at 9:45AM, and he had it diagnosed and solved in 15 minutes. Crazy efficient, and knew exactly what the issue was based on the description I gave, which was the unit powered up but the fan was not spinning. It was a capacitor that powers the fan. Honest, fast, and knowledgeable service. Will use Service Wizard again if I have other AC issues.

I have used Service Wizard for years and prior to that time, when their company was Osgood Heating and Air. They are always prompt and come twice a year to inspect my two units. Shane is the tech who always comes to my house and knows what he is doing. They do not try to find things that need to be repaired and the pricing is fair. I highly recommend Service Wizard!

I have purchased two HVAC systems from Service Wizzard and have found their work to be of high quality. Every technician that has interfaced with me has been competent and professional. Can't recommend Service Wizard more. They have restored my faith in customer service! I called in the evening, talked to the owner who was an absolute pleasure. They were able to come out the next morning. Sent an email and then called letting me know they were on their way. JJ came to check on mold in our AC system, he was professional, took his time to answer my questions, educated me on the system and did a thorough check. He also smelt gas in the attic, found the leak and fixed it. He went above and beyond. We will be using Service Wizard for all of our AC needs and will recommend them to all our friends.

Guys were great. Full hvac system put in . great price. we had one issue come up , but the guys got it taken care of.

Got an AC unit from them. Didn't work the first night. They had a guy out the next day fixing it and now it's great. Got the house freezing. Love it.

They serviced the AC unit about a week before I closed on my house (they were hired by the previous owners to do so). On move-in day it wouldn't bring the house below 80 degrees, even after it running all afternoon. I was super upset so I called them to ask if they would come back out and make sure something wasn't missed. I'll be honest -- it's July in Texas and I had been hauling boxes from a hot storage unit all day and my water hadn't been turned on. I was cranky and probably a bit rude. The person I talked to was super friendly and professional and they sent someone out first thing Monday morning.

Y'all. HE. WAS. ON. TIME. I think I had a 2-4 hour window and he showed up at basically 8 on the dot. Service technicians of any sort are NEVER on time. +1 for Service Wizard

He checked temps, ductwork, etc., to help me diagnose the problem. Long story short, my unit is *just* too small for my house so it can maintain a temp on the hottest days but can't bring it any lower. Bummer, but consistent with what I experienced over the weekend.

THEN he takes a few extra minutes to fill a hole behind the thermostat so that the temps would be a little more accurate. AND adds in drywall mounts so the thermostat wouldn't be loose. Considering they had waived the service fee for this follow-up and he still took the time to do that, I'm impressed.

And the cherry on top is that he didn't try to convince me -- a potentially gullible, brand-new first-time homeowner -- that I needed a bigger unit (which I assume they sell and install). He gave me tips on how to make my unit work for me. I'll certainly use service wizard in the future for tune-ups and maintenance.

Top notch AC repair guys. They came at a moments notice and had the issue diagnosed and fixed very quickly. Also during COVID I felt very safe with the safety procedures service wizard is using. I would highly recommend using them.

Service Wizard is the best! I had them come out to double check a quote I got from another place in our last home. They reviewed the issue and found that the other guys diagnosed the problem incorrectly. They made the very minor fix needed and it resolved all of our issues. We've since moved and I now use them for biannual maintenance and love having a company that I trust completely. Our unit is over 20 years old and I look forward to using them for a new install when the time comes. In the meantime, they're helping our unit chug along so we can get as much use out of it as we can.

Absolutely top notch service. Emilio Morales arrived to fix our AC over a hot weekend. Diagnosed the issue with the system and made us comfortable. Great business and experience!

The installers came out and were very informative, I needed some sheetrock replace that had mold on it in the return air vent, and they replace it for me at no extra charge, they were very thorough and detailed. The work could not look more professional.

My church had two AC Units replaced recently. The units are high efficient units and they are currently working in good condition. The installation was done in a decent amount of time.

Kevin called to let me know he was on his way. He quickly found my AC problem and we discussed the possible repairs. I was able to make an informed decision. My AC is working fine and the price was reasonable. I ll be using Service Wizards again for any future AC work.

We've used Service Wizard for a long time for yearly service and 2 years ago contacted them to install a new system. They were very timely in the process, reasonable and we love our new system. I recommend them to clients, family and friends all the time.

I would recommend this business 10x over. They are quick, knowledgeable, friendly, and all around good people you can trust to get the job done. I ve had four businesses come by my house trying to fix my A/C and all overcharged me and never fixed the problem. These guys came out the same day I called them and fixed the issue once and for all for a fair price. I will use them for all my A/C needs.

Had the 6 month furnace check which came with my new unit. I was able to schedule the week of Christmas and he came within the window that I expected him!

These folks are awesome! I called with a cooling issue at my house at 4:00 Thursday afternoon. They arrived at 12:30 on Friday. 10 minutes later I had 4 pounds of new Freon in my system and my house was cooling again! I highly recommend them!!!

Can't say enough good things about this company. We knew we'd need a new unit when we bought our home because the units were original to the house. Encountered some issues, called Service Wizard on a Monday in May, they came out Monday afternoon, and we had an amazing brand new unit by Tuesday afternoon that cost literally half of what we expecting it to cost and a third of what other friends had been quoted - and this was for the *most* expensive, top of the line unit. They also gave us options to repair and options for cheaper units, but knowing the age of our unit, we had been planning to replace soon anyway and felt that repairing was just throwing money down the drain. We were shocked with the low prices, so choosing the higher end unit was an easy decision. We'd used Service Wizard in the past for our businesses and loved them but they quit doing commercial work. We have not found anyone we liked nearly as much. I was almost happy to have a residential need as it meant we could do business with Service Wizard again.

Service Wizard is the best! I have very confidently and gladly used their services for years! When my AC needed replacement, they were the ones i called. Their service has always been the best! Their recommendations and actions have proved to be 'Spot On' ! During the installation, one the Osgood brothers stopped by to see how it was going and to see if I was OK with the work! I can't say enough good things about Service Wizard! I will also add that many of my neighbors happily share that they too always depend on Service Wizard!

The team at Service Wizard have taken care of our HVAC needs since about 2000, in varying company configurations, starting from Osgood Heating and Air. Their teams are always on time, dependable, and do good work. Replacing HVAC equipment is not inexpensive; I wouldn't trust that work to anyone else.

We have used Service Wizard twice in the past 2 month and they have been excellent both times. They accomplished what other companies said could not be done, and at a lower price. There staff are all responsive and work efficiently. Very satisfied.

They replaced my aging furnace and air conditioner. Then later added new ducts to cool and heat my sunroom. A most reliable company and a pleasure to do business with!

I experienced A/C problems and called a couple of places. Service Wizard came in cheaper and was able to be at my house sooner. Emilio was able to fix the problem in no time and was so very professional on the phone. It took less than thirty minutes and he even checked my lines and did a courtesy flush to remove some buildup. I've been hailing the wonderful service to all my friends. Thank you so much and I will call Service Wizard again if I need A/C help in the future!!

Cannot say enough about these guys. They were very helpful over the phone. Very responsive, especially considering the current heat wave we are in. The technician was experienced, friendly and super helpful. I explained all the symptoms I was seeing, he diagnosed the problem, and fixed it very quickly.

The people at Service Wizards are the best. I remember my dad calling John Osgood when our AC went out on the Fourth of July and Mr. Osgood showed up himself to fix it. Service Wizards continue that tradition of honesty and service that is now so rare in this town. When my AC and heater system needed replacing, I called Service Wizards. The Trane unit has been running for over five years and I've never had a problem. They sized it correctly, installed it expertly, and continue to maintain it when it needs minor maintenance. Call them and you won't be sorry.

I have used Service Wizard for some time now. As always, they are prompt and courteous. This visit was no exception. I trust them to keep my A/C in great condition. Thank you to Service Wizard and their excellent employees.

They installed my new AC unit at the most competitive price. Very happy about that, then the subsequent service has been spot-on, timely and very professional. Technician told me about possible critters in attic, which I wouldn't have known otherwise.

Terry arrived on time. Was efficient. Forwarded my last service report and let me know what I needed. A big change from the wasted money I had on my first service.

So after the $70 service visit, he charged my wife an additional $150 to replace a simple breaker (Yes like the ones you can find at Lowes for $15). He wasn't here for more than 20-25 minutes. They later claimed that $150 isn't just for the cost of the breaker, it's for the service too. $300/hr is a pretty good hourly pay if you ask me, and besides, what was that $70 service fee FOR anyway? Just so you can drive here and step on my lawn?

After that ordeal, the unit still wasn't working. He had to come out again and claimed that we needed a new compressor, which they estimate will cost me $2150. From the research I've done so far anything over $2000 is a bit of a rip off considering most compressors cost between $650 and $850.

I would advise staying away from these guys. Even IF they are priced comparably to the rest of the AC repair crooks, I'm sure you can find a cheaper quote elsewhere. For now, I'm just going to use a window mounted AC unit, hang out in one room, and wait for a good deal. Don't let the heat pressure you into paying more than you should for this crap.

Service Wizard installed my new home A/C and heating system in 1983 when they were known as Osgood's Heating and A/C. They sold their business and re-entered operations as Service Wizard. I head their advertisement on KOKE and Cole radio. Called them for a quote on a new system. Beat my best quote by $2000.00. Can't say enough about the sales staff who was exceptionally knowledgeable. They installed a new Trane System in less than 7 hours. Technicians were as knowledgeable and proficient as the sales person. Best complement I can give is "Osgood Is Still Good."

I have just had one of the best experience ever for service repair on my HVAC system. From beginning to finish my experience was unbelievably great! I contacted Service Wizard after looking at reviews from several companies and am completely astonished by the accuracy of all the positive comments left by others. I contacted the service company at 10:29 AM, provided necessary information to assist in identifying the problem that I was experiencing and was advise, that if I were available, a service technician would arrive prior to 12:00 pm.
I was contacted by the technician (David) with a photo via both text and email and advised that he was enroute to my residence in Southwest Austin at 10:43AM. Technician arrived at 11:15; diagnosed, repaired and replaced defective part and completed the service by 12:05 pm. Very knowledgeable, courteous, professional, with excellent skills and expertise. I would definitely use again and gladly recommend to friends, family and neighbors without hesitation and confidence.

The best part of this review is that I now have AC with a five (5) degree temperature drop on the thermostat within the last hour, fantastic! With the outside ambient temperature on a steady climb.

Service Wizard is the best thing to happen to me for my heating and cooling needs. I bought a new unit from them a couple of years ago and have had periodic checkups since. Their prices are very reasonable, their service is exceptional and my son has bought his new unit through them. Do not hesitate to give them a call. They truly care about your needs. Our AC went out in the heat of the summer. Service Wizards was referred to us by a friend. They gave us a very competitive quote, arrived promptly the day of the install, and did a superb job of installation. They even located a problem area with our electrical connections. And they made suggestions to solve a problem cooling area that other contractors had never thought of. We were very pleased with all our contacts with their service techs as well as the office--very courteous and efficient--and would not hesitate to us them again.

I called Service Wizard to get a second opinion on an issue I was having with one of my AC units after another repair company came out and told me the problem was going to require a $1300 piece of equipment to fix.

Kevin from Service Wizard came out to my house and fixed the problem for a third of the cost. He was right one time, friendly, and professional. He took the time to explain and show me exactly what the issue was and what exactly he was doing. He also showed me that guy from the other company didn't do a proper inspection and that his "solution" wouldn't have actually solved the issue I was having.

A week later and I'm not having any issues with my AC. I will be calling Service Wizard in the future for any other repairs and I highly recommend them.

I have used Service Wizard for my maintenance since moving to Bee Cave. It s easy to schedule, they are professional, and call 30 minutes before arrival. When I was away on a trip and had a pet sitter, they fixed my A/C the next day. They have been great!

My old freon using air conditioner was going out. I got 4 bids for a replacement. Service Wizards was one of the two that went into my attic to check everything. Others did not even mention this. They were the only one that could redo just what was inefficient up there and NOT redo ALL of the duct work like the other company wanted to do at triple the price. Also I was able to get TRANE which was the most highly recommended air conditioner as rated by Consumer Reports. The workmen were very professional and did a great job. I am thrilled with Service Wizards. I got the brand I wanted for the best price.

Best HVAC service ever!!! Wow: what a super company!

Our system stopped working the might prior. I called before 8. Terry called about 20 minutes before he arrived sometime before 10. Additionally, I received an email with his photo and identifying information.

He diagnosed our problem and discussed a few other items about which I inquired: maintenance agreement and a replacement for our allergy filter system. By 3, our system was repaired, our old filter system was removed and a UV light allergy system installed. Perhaps best of all, Terry came up with a solution to a problem with our filter access we've had for over 30 years! I hadn't asked for a solution, although I had complained about the problem. I had assumed after using the same company for most of those 30 years and another company for the past 4, and complaining twice yearly to each of them, that there was no solution. I could not be more pleased!

If you want a responsive, proactive company call Service Wizard. Terry, especially, was professional, listened and responsded to our needs l he was polite and kind throughout even as our dogs demanded his attention rather boisterously. I am excited to use Service Wizard for our maintenance and for all our HVAC needs forever. Terry's great service earned our loyalty. I very highly recommend Service Wizard.

Our A/C went out during the heat wave. We were unable to get a replacement because of wholesalers lack of inventory due to factory stoppages due to COVID and increased demand for units that had failed during the hottest time of the summer. Charlie Osgood stepped in and after a diligent search was able to find a replacement. Quick service by Shane Hacker had us with much needed A/C. We are so thankful for SERVICE WIZARD and the Osgood's!!

We are big fans of SERVICE WIZARD for professional service, reasonable prices, quality workmanship, and excellent customer service. We used to use Clarke Kent Plumbing and their prices were absolutely ridiculous- even charged us time to go get parts!!! I have lived in Austin for 40+ years and Service Wizard is the best so far!!

Upside: they were able to do an emergency repair on weekend. On the downside: they needed to come back on Monday after a wrong diagnostic. After that, my tenant has no more trouble, which is what I wanted.

David gave good advice & showed me how to adjust baffles. The service call was free (included in my new system purchase from a year ago), which I didn't expect, so that was nice.

Service Wizard installed two new AC units at my house, and maintain them since. Those guys are fast, professional, and friendly. I would highly recommend them.

I don't know how they do it! So efficient and fast. They are true Wizards. They have many great technicians that have helped me and it's such a good experience as I don't feel pressured. They are really honest and do great work Magic? Maybe but that works for me.

Service Wizard is an appropriate name. I have met and worked with three seasoned pros who fixed shoddy work done by a silver-tongued hack HVAC owner and crew who had many five star reviews. Many service call and they never got it right. Service Wizard corrected the mess and it works great now. The other side of the house kept having problems and the unit was about 10 years old, so I had it replaced it with Trane system and it works great now. 20% cheaper than the Hack charged on the other unit. This is not an easy profession to master. One has to be a plumber and electrician at the same time. Don't get bamboozled like I did. Service Wizard is fairly priced and does it right the first time. Furthermore, they will not sell you something you do not need.

Service Wizard replaced our old unit and did a great job! Neat, clean install in 4 or 5 hours. Trane with variable speed compressor, blower and condenser fans is so quiet. Very knowledgeable techs. Highly recommended! Osgood IS good!

Have used Service Wizard twice in the last 18 months to replace & upgrade both of my old HVAC systems. Each time I got multiple bids for the same Trane systems. They were consistently at or near the bottom of the price estimates, and were BY FAR the easiest vendor to work with...no sales pressure, great communication, shared lots of information around the issues I was experiencing (low air flow in certain rooms, adding additional intakes, etc), and came back out for free to check everything with no questions asked. They are highly reliable, honest and knowledgeable. Couldn't recommend them more!

From our first visit with Erik to the final installation, our experience with Service Wizard was first rate. They are honest and straightforward in their dealings, and I never had more confidence in a work crew. If you are looking to install a new system, these guys should be the first, and only, people you should call!

Wow! I'm really impressed with these guys. I returned home after a 3 day weekend on Sunday to find my AC died. Called and left a message late Sunday evening. By Monday morning at 7:30, I got a call back with an ability to send someone out to check the unit by 12 noon. He replaced a part just to get my 30 year old unit to run over night and then return in the morning on Tuesday to completely install an entire needed AC/furnace system. They were right on time, sent a picture of the technician/installer ahead of time to let me know who was arriving. The men were polite, cleaned up after themselves well and completely replaced the entire system for what I've been told by others to be a fabulous price.

I recommend Service Wizards highly to others and will be using them again in the future for any troubles.

We needed to replace a 20 year old Trane. I knew the new Trane model that I wanted and got quotes. These guys were "in the pack" for cost and seemed to have a good reputation. (My previous AC guy just retired and sold his company). They came out the same day to provide the quote, took good notes about a few small special things I wanted, and gave a quote that day. The guy was very professional, and no "upsell" BS. I selected them and the next day the crew came out. The install was completed within about 6 hours. The crew was polite and professional, the job was done properly. The paperwork was very complete too. The only error was spilling a little compressor oil on the driveway as they hauled off the old unit. I highly recommend them.

Called the morning our heater stopper working. They had a technician (Terry) available and at my house that same morning. He was upfront about the 2 possible parts and their cost. He was able to verify which part was bad and replace it later that same day. The price was fair and the service was amazing. I also have the maintenance program through them 2 times a year. They do a great job and are very thorough.
