Selfridges Review

As a loyal customer of Selfridges, I bought a pair of RV shoes online and received a faulty one. Selfridges insists it s me who made these scratches and damages and insists they have thorough check for every product before delivery. However, the scratches and damages are exactly the same when I opened box at home.
Because of the longterm trust that built up I did not open the parcel when picking up the products in store. This is because I believed in Selfridges that the product would be faultless. Selfridges didn t look into this case and staff who pack this shoes was not responsible for his or her ignorance. Now I am so sorry that I am made to be pay for something that I should not be responsible of. As Selfridges is a famous store, the store would not mind loosing an individual customer like me.

Big store, crazy busy to the point of madness, at least near the entrance. Nice little Xmas area every year.

Selfridges is the place to go for luxury high end fashion. Also have electronics, accessories, some unique spirits available in the basement. VAT refund located on the top floor for individuals from outside the UK.

Incredible place. Beauty to see. Great variation of shops. Great restaurants and amazing service always improving.

One of my favorite spots to visit while in London especially around Christmas time. Wide variety of labels and brands and floors and floors of wish lists. The food/cafe section is not to be missed.

Visited the food court, which has some tremendous foods to choose from. Always a pleasant experience.

Fashion mall with many grand-name residents in the shop, i.e. Gucci, Prada.

One of the best luxury department stores in the world. Has an amazing balance between tradition and modern shopping experiences.
The staff are always helpful and knowledgable about department locations and often very giving with sampling of cologne!
Selfridges has an amazing food section and has hidden gems on every level.
This is the kind of store one should take time to explore and talk to the staff about your needs.

It's quite a busy store so I waited quite a while to be served but once I was the staff were friendly and I was able to find what I was looking for.

Terrible in store baby range for christenings had to head to Harrods

Worst customer service ever. Trying to return faulty item that broke after only 2 days of use ( bad workmanship ). So far it taken two attempts to collect and the only thing Selfridges could do was organise another pick up use if there sub standard delivery company. Customer service was less than helpful, made me very angry. Maybe I m not an Elite enough customer from them. Wife then phoned them and the best they could then do was make us do all the work.
Never shopping there again, never ordering from them again.

A must-visit in London. I'm not into designer shopping or consumerism in general but I can appreciate this department store's spectacular decadence. Give the clothes, bags and perfumes and miss and head downstairs for the books and the mind-blowing technology section. The televisions and laptops are state of the art and are shown off in true old fashioned salesman fashion. Just leave your credit cards at home for safer less impulsive online shopping. Really enjoyed my time spent here.

Wonderful Christmas atmosphere and great food and fantastic shop that has an array of incredible items to buy.

The girl KARISHMA (who works at NARS make up shop) who did my make up was very rude... kept pressuring me by saying"do you like it" every time she would dab a bit of make up on my face. Then would force the price down my throat before i can even grab the mirror and look at what shes done on my face. And when i didnt buy all the products she bought to me she was whispering to another guy she worked with acting as if i was riff raff because im not buying all she wants me to buy. Nowadays make up artists in stores are very rude and impatient. Very disappointed

I love selfridges. Chocolate department, food hall, seafood bar etc etc.Normally a v buzzy place. Fingers crossed that things will return back to normal soon.

I'm not a shopper, personally, but I do get what shoppers love about Selfridges. It's orderly, aromatic, has a gazillion items of beauty to help you lighten your purse and the staff seem lovely

Beautiful building and stores. Their stock is limited though and could not find the right size for my father.

Always a great experience going to Selfridges. I suggest who ever does must visit the basement where they can find unique items. Cafe in the basement is a good idea to visit for your evening tea. One must also rides the cycle rickshaws outside the store with the blaring Arabic music.

Lots of departments and variety's of things to buy. Places to eat. The food it good quality, and overall the store offers a wide range of things to look at.

One of the best places in London to buy Hype-fashion clothing. I ll definitely come back!

Great range of men's designer gear that we just don't get here in Australia. Good sales. If you aren't wearing designer gear of some sort, I would imagine the staff wouldn't pay much heed to you.

Almost every brand under 1 roof but all the models that I want are out of stock

Had to wait 20 minutes while security figured out how to unlock the disabled toilet, I gave up and went across the road to M&S where I actually received some great service. I have always loved selfridges but such poor level of service from the security.

Always a joy to shop here. Exciting new trends on sale. Faith room available too.

The one shop I can almost never fault. Selfridges always have the friendliest of staff, and the cleanest of displays.

Only 2 kinds of people work here extremely rude or very very helpful!!! The management should put some efforts to find and eliminate the rude staff as theu cause harm to this beautiful store!!!

It's just a really big department store. There are lots of brands but as much as you want to say "I shop at selfridges" some times you can find items for around half the price elsewhere. The technology section in the basement is kind of poor, lots of old stuff.

Noisy with many of the customers being obnoxious for sale items. The saving Grace is the customer service personnel are very polite and friendly

A trip to Selfridges is a trip to a luxury world of shopping. You will find every imaginable brand high end brand stocked here. There s a superb food hall, menswear, womsewear, home and electrical goods all available. I can not recommend this shop enough if you re out at oxford street for the day!

Hight-end store? May be, but bog-standard online service...
My order was cancelled because they said " the items could not be found."
But when I phoned up, they said "Because quality check was failed"
So instead of reorder, they just cancelled my order.
There's no sincere apology and was't much help from the customer service, almost like it was my fault to order them.
Also many items are out of order but still display as normal, you can only tell by add them to your basket, what a waste of time.
Wouldn't buy from Selfridges again if I don't need to!

My #1 department store in the entire world. I love Selfridges from day 1 as I have never faced any bad experiences. The place is alive and full of vibes. It s always on my list of places to visit while in London.

What can I say about Selfridge's? One of the premier department store shopping experiences in the UK, if not the world!

Staff too busy chatti g on creed stand couldn't be bothered to greet us when we walked upto the counter at creed think abit of customer service training needed
