Five years in London and this ended up being the only place in London I shopped for clothes. Honestly I couldn't be bothered to go anywhere else - Selfridges have have everything, including affordable high street brands. Huge time saver.

Found several hairs on a cake I bought at the Oxford Street, Selfridges food court. I returned it to the store and was reimbursed, however, I was made to feel like it was my fault.

I was fobbed off by the manager and was told that the incident would be investigated and I would be made aware of any findings but till this day I haven't received any communication from Selfridges despite giving my contact details.

A store that displays poor hygiene (several hairs) and poor customer service is a store I don't want to patronize.

Popped in to find out about the Apple Watch for my wife and an Android watch for myself. Found staff helpful at both B2B and Samsung sections. Can always spend hours in Selfridges but I had limited time as it was already late and store was going to close. Also visited Nespresso area to check out latest from George Clooney and friends and was impressed with their latest hot drinks gizmo and the latest special edition capsule....

Would like to thank Sales Advisor Sean in the technology department for helping us with the laptops, he explained in a very informative way about all the available products and different ranges which met our needs more in terms of usability and performance. Definitely looking forward to buy the one we decided from here in few days time. I hope he gets this message from the review and keep giving great service to all customers visiting.

All the staff were so helpful, I ordered a pair of givenchy trainers on line a size too big, I used the click and collect service and tried on the shoes in the sitting area on receiving them, once realising they were a size too big I was told to go up to givenchy shoes and they'll exchange them for me their and then. When arriving their an employee called Solomon was so helpful, kind and very efficient. I thought it might be complicated as I ordered it online but it wasn't at all well in selfridges I'll be back

Great

Multi product huge department store.

Multi product huge department store.
Massive refurbishment has been done and I was personally involved in electrical work.
Its a grand store that sales a wide contemporary range of goods predominately clothing and fashion via mini designer units.
There is a lovely cafe and good food for sale, although its overpriced. But thats west end shopping sometimes.
If your on Oxford street its worth a visit but prepare to be sprayed with scents by pushy perfume sales people.
As I have highlighted before staff at John Lewis demonstrate a sense of decorum that makes their store the best.

Just a great department store. Every department has a well chosen range of top brands. Service is helpful, knowledgeable and not at all pushy. Wine shop is not huge but selection is well chosen and prices are not exorbitant. Luggage section is also well chosen. Only slight let down was the children's section which was small and unimaginatively stocked.

What's cooler than a skating bowl in a department store? Not much! On a serious note, it's a great place to walk around and look at the things the different stands have to offer. There are also tons of things to interact with, such as a floor piano.

Absolutely stunning. Went in hoping for a coat for 20p quid but couldn't find anything for less than 500. Never felt so poor in my life. Amazing store and worth a visit just for a look at how the other half live!

I had bought a Victoria Beckham shirt at Selfridge...

I had bought a Victoria Beckham shirt at Selfridges. After wearing it 3 times the fabric had holes in both sleeves. It was only cleaned once at the dry cleaners and the holes weren't in the fabric after the dry cleaning. I had tried to contact the Victoria Beckham shop in Selfridges multiple times on multiple days (which in total took over 1 hour..) but never got to speak to anybody. I decided to take half a day off to go to the store in Central London. I had to wait for a very long time before I could speak to a manager. The manager was very arrogant and said that the damage was due to normal wearing but I had only worn it three times and had been carefull wiht it. After pursuing they took the shirt for a review and would come back to me. After 2 weeks I hadn't heard anything so I called customer service. I was friendly helped and they recommened to make an official complaint and I was going to get an email or call back within 48 hours. This is already 5 days ago and never had a call/email back.

28-11-18: After being in touch with customer service making official complaints it is now a few months down the line and still had no answer from Selfridges and don't have my shirt back.

I commute from Birmingham to euston for work, five days a week. So I don't get the chance to shop in store. But I seen two particular item I wanted. And i don't want to wait for delivery from online shopping. Therefore I popped into selfridges 1st floor and went to straight to Aape concession and asked this toung asian sale assistance if they had the item and straight away she gave me the attitude of me wasting her time or didn't want to serve me, her answer was "we don't stock Bape accessories" OK! Then I asked her if they had any Bape trainers and her answer was cold again. "We don't do them either". So I went to Bape concession and seen Bape iphone accessories but no Bape mask which I was after. This middle age Male assistant named "Mohammed" approached me and asked if I need any assistant. I told him about the Bape Green mask. Within few minutes he went and came back with the mask. And then I seen the trainers which I purchased too. Dont know but some staff are rude or maybe they been trained like that. I was wearing Bape roadsta trainers and Ralph Lauren long green coat. Did I look too poor to be served in selfridges or I looked too ugly to served? Really had bad experience. Messed up my weekend in London. Thanks selfridges.
