Rashid Gregory was my salesman and he was very nice and did everything in his power that my experience at this dealership was meet up to expectations. I purchased a 2016 Kia Sorento SUV. He was patient and not pushy like these other sales people on other car lots. While I was shopping for a car I said I wasn't going to a "Used Car Lot". But to a dealership because they certify their used cars and they have the history on them. Mike Miller was also very helpful as well. I will recommend anyone to go to Scott Clark Toyota. But if you arent looking for Toyota and want a certain type of car you desire than you most definitely can get it from Scott Clark Toyota because they know they stuff and wont play you. So Thanks again Rashid and Mike Miller I will be back. You guys were Awesome!!!!

Scheduled my 15,000 mile service by making an appointment (recommended). I showed up on time, waited for my vehicle and less than an hour was back to my normal day. Scott Clark technician took the time to explain what they did as well as to the overall condition of the Highlander. The 45 minute drive is worth the peace of mind!
Most unbelievable experience ever and not in a good way. A few months ago, I bought a BRAND NEW 2020 4Runner TRD Off-Road. The sales process ran late and right before I left, I noticed the all weather floor mats were missing in the car before I left the dealership. I asked the salesman to get me some since they were included in the price of the car. He ran and rushed and got some and turned out grabbed the wrong one for my trunk. That s not a problem as I asked for the correct ones but more on this later, but first:
A few days later, I noticed that the protective film on the hood was coming off really badly in a few spots. I asked for a rental hut was told it won t take that long. 4 hours later, I then was told that it ll take longer and was given a rental car. It was finally fixed and I went on my way about 8 hours later.
Then, a day or two later I noticed two minor chips in the door which I then had to take and get fixed which took a few hours to fix. Fixed and on my way. At this point, I m happy with their willingness to help, despite how long it took.
Lastly, then I noticed the wrong all weather floor mat. I kindly called and texted the salesman to have the correct one sent to me. I said I totally understand that these things happen, but if I can have the correct one sent to me, that would be great . No answer. I called to get a hold of him, he was no where to be found and never returned my calls. Tried to call and text again a week later, no answer. Finally, I asked for manager, which I actually talked to, who assured me that he would order one and apologized.
Here I am 3-4 months later, still not having my $100+ all weather floor mat for the trunk. I called today and asked to get an update. I was told I would be contacted soon by the sales manager or salesman and still have yet to hear back. They also couldn t confirm if it had in fact been ordered yet.
Hey Scott Clark Toyota, want some advice? As someone who owns his own business and has worked in sales, if I had an employee treat me the way I have been treated and ignored by your entire staff, I would fire them on the spot. This is an unacceptable way to treat a customer who bought a brand new $50,000 truck. I can promise you, I will never be spending another dime at Scott Clark Toyota and I will be urging anyone looking for a new Toyota to go someplace else. I ve had good experiences with Hendrick, I ll be going there next time and you should do the same.
I was in the market for a Tacoma XSP. I had a deal already established from another local dealership but my salesperson and his manager both assured me that since they are such a large dealership they can obtain the model I want on a trade and beat the other dealers bottom line. Like an idiot I believed them and cancelled my pending deal at the other dealership. Fast forward one week, I was scheduled to come in and complete the deal when I receive a text from my salesperson that the truck they drove 2 hours to pick up was sold by that dealer. I have purchased many cars before and that made no sense to me. Now I am left without the truck I was promised and not even an "I'm sorry" or "because this was our error lets give you a great deal on a similar truck" . Be part of the Scott Clark Toyota family.....don't think so! Bridge burned!
We were so excited to get our first car and shopped through many dealerships to get the best deal. Our sales guy sherrad was awesome! He was the reason we came back to get the car at this dealership since all others had the same price. We waited for a while to get to finance and for everything to go through. All the paperwork was signed and we drove off the lot. 2 days later we get a call from the finance guy stating that they did not have the money that we put down. It was a hefty amount which was extremely alarming. Long story short, the money was with all the paperwork we signed that day however we were unaware. We got harassing calls from different people about where the money was. At this point we were completely unaware it was there. We thought we left it in the finance office. While being at the dealership we got horrible looks as if we were doing this on purpose. At the end of the day all this could've been avoided had the finance representative collected the money prior to sending us out the door with the money. This situation could've been handled much more efficiently and with much more tact. I told the finance rep exactly where I left the money and he stated that I never had the money there accusing me of lying and said the cameras showed there was no money there. I then pleaded to review the cameras again to see if they could track down where the money went since it was in a white envelope and we never heard back. I will never purchase another car from this dealership and will be sure to spread my experience with anyone that is willing to hear.
The waiting for finance was the hardest part of the deal It was the last day of the month and we were there for 6 1/2 hours completing our purchase Our salesman Vince offering to go buy my dinner when I was getting hangry The waiting area is nice with free coffee I did have to ask for a bottle of water Next purchase I will complete online I will purchase a car with them again!
For 20+ years, we have bought cars from Scott Clark Toyota, and we have always had them serviced there. We attribute that to how long our cars have lasted - one is a 2004 Camry and one is a 2009 Sienna. We trust the technicians, and they have always done a great job for us, and we like the fact that we build up loyalty rewards. We highly recommend Scott Clark Toyota to anyone!
Paul Moore and his assistant Emily were so helpful and knowledgeable about all the cars I was interested in. Both of them were kind and helped me through the process of car shopping until I was comfortable with what I wanted! I will be telling all my friends and family to see them when they're ready to buy.
Great service and follow up from Antoine at the dealership. Answered all of our questions and went the extra mile. Will do business with Antoine and Scott Clark Toyota for a long time. Customer for life. Thanks Antoine and God bless.
I have being dealing with Scott Clark Toyota off and on over the last 10 years. This time I bought a 2021 Toyota venza hybrid from them. I thoroughly love my car. They were very helpful then then and I have had to call them a few times and for issues I didn't understand and they have been very polite very understanding and very helpful I recommend buying a Toyota from Scott Clark Toyota. Tell Rashid I sent you!!! And Mallory is very very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Thanks to all of those at Scott Clark Toyota.
These guys are really great to work with. Jimmy, Mike, Nasir, Joel and Matt were all professionals who clearly communicated and made me an offer I could not walk away from. We ve been servicing our 4 Runner here for a few years and tonight I purchased a new Tundra from them and the experience was really great. I don t know why I d go anywhere else for my vehical needs.
Did not believe me when I said there was a problem with my car. They only offered to let me drive along with the mechanic when I told them another shop had recognized the issue. Otherwise they had found two other items they wanted to"fix" while my car was already there.
Run away! Run Away! Run Away! Not only did I receive terrible service here, the mechanics created the issues that needed to be repaired. I was a long-time customer, but no more.
After an amazing experience with Marshall Moore at Scott Clark s Toyota, we now work with him every time! He is very knowledgeable, honest, and down to earth. Our whole family owns cars from Scott Clark s, and we all use Marshall.
I honestly can say this is hands down the absolute best dealership I've ever dealt with. Everything went smooth and Julian Bygrave is the absolute best!!!!
Wesley Rasmussen was the manager that worked with us getting our 4-runner serviced and repaired. Wesley was very thorough in explaining what the repairs entailed, the reason they were needed and the cost of each. Wesley also saved us money by using coupons he was able to retrieve from the internet. I would highly recommend Wesley to anyone and I would request him each time I go in for service.
High pressure sales. Worked with me on price but could not reach my budget, which I was ok with and was ready to leave. I told them multiple times I would continue to look for another car but they kept trying to "work" the price. They wouldn't take no for an answer, took them 2 hours to realize I was not budging and finally gave me my car key back. Will not shop there in the future.
I just got my 4Runner a Year ago, this was my first visit to Scott Clark Toyota. The experience was great. The service writer Matt was very informative and had a great personality. I waited for the service to be completed and the lounge was very accommodating!
To be honest, it was kinda cool hanging out waiting on my 4Runner.
Highly recommend! They will get all my Toyota business for sure
Fast forward 2 years. Scott Clark Toyota is excellent. I ve serviced my 4 Runner here several times and never disappointed. The employees are awesome and I never feel like I m waiting while getting service. Great Toyota dealership.
This is a great place to deal with for service. Everybody is always friendly and helpful. I used a different dealership that was closer once in the 2 1/2 years after purchasing from them- was very unhappy with their service so I will drive farther and use Scott Clark Toyota.
I honestly do not understand how you can pick out the car you want out of the dealership inventory online, make an appointment, and still spend 4 hours in the dealership from start to finish buying the car you chose. Its grueling. However, the Scott Clark dealership is the nicest dealership we've ever been in. We loved the fact that they even had a deli but unfortunately it was closed, maybe due to COVID-19. The store was nice too. We were so fortunate to be dealing with Israel & Ace Louis who were a pleasure to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting both of them. Ace is a Veteran and was a paratrooper so it was an absolute honor to meet him. He is dedicated to service and obviously cares about doing a great job. Isreal was personable & respectful and we really enjoyed having him as our sales associate. So, although the 4 hours of time we spent is ridiculous, it was made more tolerable by these two gentlemen who we highly recommend. (GO TRUMP!! ).
Paul Moore was professional and personable. We narrowed the choices to satisfy my needs and wants in a new car, and that was all there was to it. Paul took care of the rest. He did not let others distract him from working closely with me, updated me on the prep of my vehicle, advised me on issues that I had not focused on so that my car would fit my dreams. I fell lucky to have had such a good person to take me through the process.
Extremely slow! And car was not cleaned or brought up to Toyota standards as was promised by sales rep. All-in-all, I was very disappointed with Scott Clark and would not recommend them.
Sales department second to none wonderful experience. Service department second to all rude as can be and refused to find a solution to a 3.5 month old van that smells to high heavens of antifreeze. Tried to convince me it is normal and to be expected in new Toyota vehicles. How betrayed my wife and I feel with this dealer. Don't walk away run. Stuart Phelps it was nice of you to respond. However you are incorrect about the faint smell as you put it . My wife and I traveled for the holiday for 2.5 hours st our arrival we smelled completely of antifreeze or hair and clothes were completely permeated with the odor. Please do not make light of our problem to save face or cover your own failure.
Working with Marshall Moore at Scott Clark's Toyota was such a great experience. He quickly was able to identify the truck that I was looking for and scheduled me to meet with his colleague Dominick in helped me trade in my old truck and drive off in the new one the same day.
Allways love coming to Scott Clark Toyota in Charlotte. Staff is always courteous friendly. At my first scheduled service the let me know about two recalls. And promptly took care of them. A very professional experience all around,
Making appointment was easy (they offered lots of flexibility for scheduling). Greeted promptly on arrival, consulted with service adviser and waited in customer lounge area. Donuts, coffee and wifi all available and my wait was short. Couldn't ask for better.
It take to long at the end ,they tell you you need to do this and that but you already are there 2 hours ...you do not want to stay and time is limited ,you do not have time to go back again so you wait for next months visit.
Where do I start...I was personally referred here by a good friend of mine. Spoke to the sales manager (who was referred to me) on the phone and we made an appointment to meet at 12:30. I show up on time and he is too busy to see me so I get another guy. Ok fine. The sales person I ended up with was nice enough and I test drove a SUV I was interested in. So far so good.
I get back to the dealership and they appraise my car. I had it appraised at 3 other dealerships in the past week (because I want to make sure I am getting a fair price) and Scott Clark was $2600 below all of the other appraisals. Not a good start.
I told the salesman during the test drive that I am not buying today but I would be very soon (and by soon I meant this week) and I would like my husband to come back with me before making a final decision. He seemed fine with that until the appraisal issue came up. Then another sales manager came in the picture out of no where and said "let me see if I can get anything more for your car". Walked away for 5 min tops and came up the $2600. Strike two. You obviously were trying to rip me off. At that point I was ready to go.
The sales manager proceeds to hard sell me for 20 minutes. And "conveniently" the first salesman disappeared. I told him I wanted my keys back (the first salesman still had them from the appraisal) and he kept persisting with his pitch. After another 5 minutes I am visibly annoyed and he said "what can I do to make sure you walk out of here with a car today?" and I said "nothing and I want my keys". Then I finally got my keys back.
I was so upset when I left the dealership I was shaking. I own a business and you do not treat people like that. If your tactic is to keep someone at a dealership and hold their keys until you wear them down into buying something then I want nothing to do with you or your company.
I bought my last 2 cars from Scott Clark dealerships. The first 2 experiences were fine. I will never buy another one from them again.
tried purchasing a new vehicle there and when they did not have what we wanted after 5 hours of being there we decided to go else where, sales manager North Adkins and Jaques Deadwhiley were terribly rude and unprofessional. tried to contact Jimmy cline the store manager for 2 days about this issue and could not get a hold of him. he was in a metting every time I called. finally Shane called back and just defended his sales people saying that these bad customers make dealers look like the bad guy! really?! is that how u apologize to an upset customer? never would buy anything from them. telling everyone about thus terrible place. buyers be where!
I love going to Scott Clark Toyota they are the best dealership to go to. I ve called other Toyota dealerships in before Scott Clark NOA is very rude. But Scott Clark Toyota they go over and beyond for you. The Service team actually the whole company is great. They re always very friendly very thorough. While you wait there s plenty of places to sit and relax watch TV or read or even have a snack at the snack bar or a sandwich. They also have complementary coffee. If I can give them 10 stars I would I highly highly recommend this dealership. No I m not getting paid for this LOL
I scheduled my 5000 mile service for my 2015 Highlander online. Billy Carroll checked me in at the service bay. Billy has handled my service on other vehicles and has always been great. This was no exception. Billy had me in and out before I finished my second cup of coffee. The service technicians even found and fixed an issue with my battery that I completely forgot to tell Billy about. Billy is super friendly and always helpful. That's what makes going to Scott Clark's Toyota a pleasure.
Billy Carroll is my service guy and he is amazing! My 2006 highlander has always been under his care! This particular day I needed a headlight replaced! Since I have a great relationship with Billy, he was able to squeeze in my service and we were out of there in about an 1 hour! Billy knows how crazy my life is as a teacher, musician and mom and he is always able to provide the best service to help out my hectic lifestyle! I don t trust anyone else to work on my ole gal! Thanks Scott Clarks and Mr Billy!!!!
The service department is awesome. Billy Carroll our service advisor always takes care of us. Scott Clark Toyota is where we have bought our last 6 vehicles and for the past 8 years have done all our service. Very highly recommended.
From the moment I arrived at the service entrance, I received excellent customer care. They made me feel like an old friend and treated me with great professionalism. I could not believe it. Not exactly the type of experience I have received at other dealerships in the past. The facility was amazing, clean and a general atmosphere of helpfulness. I never write reviews, however this time everyone at Scott Clark Toyota deserves to be applauded! Well done.
My customer service experience at Scott Clark was very positive. I was in the market for a new vehicle and met with Michael Miller at the dealership. Michael was pleasant, attentive, and professional throughout the entire car buying process. He was also very knowledgeable about all the vehicles I was interested in and took the time to make sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. I never felt uncomfortable or pressured during the process, which was important to me.
If you're in the market for a vehicle, I'd definitely recommend giving Michael Miller a call.
Leo R and the Entire staff was EXTREMELY Helpful!! By far the Best Experience I have encountered! Thanks so much for making things happen effectively!!
Kyle the sales associate was awesome. He was considerate, professional and answered all my questions. He was a joy to work with on the purchase of my brand new car. Harold the finance manager also could not have been more of a pleasure to do business with on my purchase. I would definitely recommend Scott Clark.
I have been getting good service for years at Scott Clark and Billy always does a good managing the sevice of my vehicle. He is one of the reasons I still go Scott Clark to get my service done! Thank you Mr.Carroll!
When I walked into Scott Clarks Toyota one Saturday afternoon, I really had no intention of buying a car that same day. And to tell you the truth, I really wasn't in the mood either. You have to admit - buying a car is never a pleasant experience. However, immediately upon meeting Kameron Knox I instantly felt at ease. He took his time to find out my needs and wants and helped me narrow down my available choices. He didn't pressure me at any time and the overall service he provided to me was outstanding. Even weeks after purchasing my new car, Kameron Knox has contacted me to make sure that I was still happy with my decision. I plan to keep my 2012 Toyota Camry until the wheels fall off but I hope that Kameron Knox will be my next sales agent as well.
I always have an amazing experience at Scott Clark. This morning I was in a time crunch to get to work at they had me in and out in exactly the time they said. Mr. Carroll in the service department was courteous and kind and did exactly what he said he would. From buying our car to all the service appointments we've had, we couldn't ask for a better car buying experience.
I went to Scott Clark Toyota for an oil change in my new 4Runner that only has 8,300 miles on it. My husband checked the oil level a few hours later and there was barely enough oil to register on the dipstick. Nobody at the dealership would help us because the service department was already closed for the day.
I purchased a 2018 4Runner yesterday. I went through the Costco membership program and was contacted by Paul Moore. Paul explained the process and showed me vehicles that I was interested in. During the closing, I explained that I had recently lost my husband and about 6 months ago had dropped a special pendant from husband, in the vehicle I was trading in. I never found it and asked that if they located it, to please contact me. I didn't know, but Paul had the guys search my old car and as I was driving off the lot, they found it! I had thought it was lost forever and I will always be grateful to Paul Moore for taking the time to find it. He could have sold me the 4Runner and sent me on my way, but he took the time to search. Before he found the pendant, I had planned on sending in a review on Paul. He showed me my options and didn't pressure me. He was professional and friendly. People always say good customer service is hard to find, I'm glad it still exists! Thank you again Paul Moore! Thank you also to Phil, Joel and Mallory who also helped during the closing process.
Bought 2017 Avalon Ltd. Excellent pre and post salesmanship by Sam. I've been dealing with Town&Country Toyota due to it's proximity; over all bad experiences forced me to try some other dealer. Scott Clark hands down is the Dealer of choice from now on.
Outstanding service department! From the moment I arrived for my scheduled appointment, I received excellent service. I was promptly greeted by my service advisor Steve Vadala who was very friendly and courteous. He took care of my Highlander and directed me to the lounge area while I waited. I was very impressed by the size of the lounge area with all of the comfy seating and free WiFi. Best part of all is they got me in and out in no time! I highly recommend Scott Clark Toyota! And be sure to ask for Steve Vadala in the Service Department!
Scott Clark TOYOTA has excellent customer service and competitive prices. Shawn, in service, told me all costs related to my tire purchase and their price was competitive with other tire dealers in the area. I needed a rental while my vehicle was serviced and the ladies in Toyota Rental were friendly, helpful and explained the program to me. I will definitely return to Scott Clark TOYOTA for service on my RAV4.
I purchased several brand new cars from Scott Clark Toyota and found the organization, as represented by Travis Wilson and the management team, extremely professional, customer oriented, ethical caring and friendly. They have consistently sought to satisfy a demanding customer and have always acted professionally and ethically. Their service department represented by Crystal Terry and the team also excelled in their proactive customer oriented approach. I recommend them all the way and my purchase record shows it!
Marshall Moore was the service rep for my last service on my car. He was friendly, professional, and courteous. Definitely would recommend him to everyone.
I always feel confident in doing business with Paul Moore and his co-workers at Scott Clark Toyota. They're professional, efficient and make me comfortable when making automotive purchases.
This is my 2nd Camry from Scott Clark Toyota. They have always provided exceptional service. Marshall always takes great care of me and explains my service needs throughly. He goes the extra mile providing me me with discounts and securing me a rental cars for extended service.
I hope this review is read by many, so that others will be spared some frustration. To keep it short, I really like the truck I purchased from Scott Clark's Toyota, but I am beyond disappointed and unsatisfied with the customer service I have received from nearly every department. I was lied to and mislead by the Sales Manager, Kameron Knox, the Finance Manager, George Hatzel, and workers in the Service Department.
Despite me calling several times and leaving voicemails, my calls have not been returned, and therefore my concerns have not been handled. I will never return to Scott Clark's Toyota, and am happy to take my business elsewhere. I would urge everyone to please consider going to another dealership.
Horroble service. Made me wait and then this guy from middle east or somewhere talks like his the king of cars and he will belittle you. I just walk out and I told him , I rather pay somebody more than to do business with em. Go somewhere. Its not worth your time. They don t even have good prices.
I had a scheduled appointment, yet I was forced to wait in my car nearly 30 minutes before anyone would check my car in. Also i had someone waiting there to pick me up to bring me to a Dr appointment which I ended up being late for. Unacceptable!
John Rucker was top notch, going above & beyond to help ensure I was satisfied and that I had the right vehicle at the right price for me. I was able to get a great deal at Scott Clark's - better than I thought I would get anywhere.
Visited this specific location just to look around and was greeted by Sales Representative Orlando Hall. Even though I was not interested in anything beyond just seeing what was available at this particular location, Orlando was beyond friendly and eager to answer any specific questions that I had in regards to the vehicles which were available at reasonable prices. Kudos to you, Orlando Hall. Will definitely be back!
Mike Miller and I met over the phone and made an appointment for me to test drive a Tacoma on the way to the beach. Mike located the car with my options and had it waiting when I arrived. Mike and Rodney Morton were very professional, knowledgeable and sensitive to my time. I purchased the car that day in two hours and Rodney assured the vehicle was equipped, detailed and ready for pick up on my return trip from the beach. Thanks for a great buying experience Scott Clark Toyota!
Went in for routine oil chane around 9:30. Had to have two tires replaced and some discussion about the tires-for-life program. Didn't get to leave until approximately 3:00. Worst visit to date.
Paul and Chuck were extremely helpful in helping me purchase my Scion FRS. Paul was very accommodating for my schedule, I generally work from 9-5 and it takes me an hour or so in traffic to get to the dealer. Paul kept in constant contact with me, with updates throughout the day. I'm extremely peculiar about my cars, and Paul gave me the time I needed to examine the FRS all around before purchasing. They made a deal that fit within my budget and made the process pretty much seamless. I'd definitely recommend anyone to Paul and Scott Clark Toyota.
Jimmy Bass ROCKS! Personable, conscientious, responsible, super helpful, easy going, and a real pleasure to work with. I can honestly say Jimmy is THE best service advisor I've ever worked with at any dealership in town-not just Toyota. And I'm a very particular old bird. Thank you, Jimmy!!
I had a great experience purchasing a used Highlander from Scott Clark Toyota. My salesperson, Joseph Le made the entire process as painless as possible. I usually dread the car buying experience, but this one was actually enjoyable. The sales manager also spoke to me personally regarding a concern I had, and his transparency along with his reassurance was much appreciated. Finance was a breeze and again, painless. This is the first Toyota I've owned, and I'm absolutely ecstatic that I've bought such a reliable vehicle for the price it was listed for. I definitely feel like this dealership takes care of its customers, and I look forward to working with them for future purchases!
I leased a 2007 Toyota 4-Runner from here in 2007. We eventually bought the vehicle. In my lease, I was promised "tires for life." Well, fast forward to 2013. The tires have never been replaced on my car. I have taken the car to Scott Clark for any and all service appointments, including tire rotations. The tires are now 6 years old and have terrible dry rot that has extended down into the sidewall area of the tires. I have been told by several professionals that the tires need to be replaced immediately. We took the car to Scott Clark Toyota and were told that the tires were fine and would not be replaced until the inside of the tire could be seen underneath the dry rot. Really?? I drive around 2 year old twins in that car everyday. Would they let their wife and children ride around in a car with tires like that?? I think not. I feel like I was sold a false promise in order to get me to buy the car from their dealership. There are much better dealerships out there that won't lie to get your business. If you do decide to buy a car from them, make sure you read ALL of the fine print because they will try to sell you all kinds of useless crap. Buyer beware!!!
