Our experience at Scott Clark Toyota was without a doubt above and beyond all our expectations when purchasing a new car. Especially after being so disgusted with the car buying process after having visited another dealership and being treated in a most undignified way. Mike Miller and his team were extremely professional and courteous. We visited the showroom several times a test drove a number of vehicles. Not once were we pushed to make a hasty decision or even make the purchase there. All they wanted to do was make us comfortable in making the right decision and help us in any way possible. Completely unexpected and certainly much appreciated. We love our new Toyota and a big THANK YOU to Mike, 'Q' and Dustin for making our experience the best it could possibly be.

I have been using the service center at Scott Clark for several years. The service advisors are always friendly and knowledgeable. I trust Scott Clark with my vehicle and in the fact that they treat me fairly.
Paul and Emily were great in answering all of my questions and handling logistics of my 2021 4Runner Limited purchase. Got a good deal ob my trade in as well. The new vehicle was even delivered before the expected due date. I ve used Scott Clark for past oil changes and they ve been very professional throughout. Recommended anytime for sales and maintenance.
Excellent service. Totally friendly and told me my car was in good shape and no additional repairs. They seemed honest and I really appreciate that. Would recommend.
I can't say enough on how well I was treated at Scott Clark Toyota. 5 stars all around My experience there is always Professional Ever Time I go there I'm greeted with a Hand Shake and a Smile Mike Black and Leo Rajos are great to work with They answered all my question about my Tundra Never pressured me into buying the truck Like some dealers often do I was able to take my time Drive all the trucks to get a fit a fill for each truck and they explained the difference from 1 to the other. I Highly Recommend Scott Clark Toyota to all my friend when they are looking for a new Car Truck MiniVan and SUV
We had a pretty awful experience about buying our car here. Besides the hours it took to process us through the financial department when we returned to pick the car up that we signed off for it was the wrong car. Bench seats instead of captains. The sales guys "could not find'" the paper I signed. The manager came out after we requested to see him and took care of it pretty reasonable though. Now that we are making payments on out car. We just realized that out interest rate doubled. I understand we get the paperwork but after sitting in that office so long it sure would have been nice for someone to at least tell us. Won't buy a car here again.
Stay away !! They dont value customers time, despite having appointments they keep you wait for long and doesnt even care to update us they are running late while we are waiting. The Sales person Mr.Jeremy showed up after 20 minutes of appointment time and told he is running late, he can't assign anyone else because every one is busy and asked me to leave. Wonderful sales team - I dont recommend this showroom.
Archie Newton always gives me excellent service, and he did so again on this visit. The only downside was that it took over 20 minutes for the car to be washed and for the valet to get it out to me.
The folks who help a Toyota owner here at Scott Clark are all awesome! Archie Newton in Service; Colton Parker in Sales; George Hatzel in Finance; Matt Cady in Auto Exchange; Staci Reid in Delivery Coordination - all are super! I have owned Canrys all my life, and recommend othees consider these amazing vehicles. The work the above Team does is second to none! They do need to deliver what they promise, though, otherwise LT customers will be unhappy and no longer recommend this place.
Johnnie F was a true professional throughout the entire process. He stood out to me vs other dealerships because he did it the right way. He picked up the phone and talked to me. He answered questions and gave me specfic info I was looking for and that made the difference for me. He followed up and put forth the effort. He wasn t afraid to answer my questions and was honest the entire time. I felt great about the process and that ultimately made me a buyer. He told me what he would do for me and he did it. That goes a long way in today s world. Cheers.
Kannon B was so easy and awesome to work with. He really took the stress out of buying a new truck! Always responded to my questions in a timely manner and was really knowledgeable about the trucks he was selling. Highly recommend buying from Kannon even if you don't live in the state. Did I mention he helped me buy a truck in North Carolina all the way from Virginia!
This is the third car I have purchased and had serviced at this dealership. The service people are always polite and friendly and make you feel welcome and just not another "number". I have been dealing with Marshall Moore for several years and have found him to be very knowledgeable and courteous.
Ace was nice. I had several conversations with Orlando. Upon arrival at the dealership it was clear he hadn't heard or listened to what I said. I was honest about being buried in our trade and our history. He ran credit and assured everything would work out under the terms I gave him. Ace came back and said because of our trade situation we needed substantial cash or a cosigner. If we wanted to keep our car and have 3 car payments it would work
My wife and I just purchased a new 4Runner and feel compelled to write I review for this dealership. We both remarked how great the level of personal service was from the moment we drove up. Sam and Jimmy went the extra mile for us at every stage of the process. Even compared to buying experiences with luxury brands like Audi, BMW and Lexus, Scott Clark Toyota was superior.
Great service experience. Easy and quick to schedule and the completed the service in a timely and professional manner. Reasonable cost - no surprises. I will look forward to the future visits for my Avalon.
Poor customer service and no desire to retain customers. We were pressured very hard to purchase a car on terms that were not in our favor at all. I understand they are in the business of making money off of cars, but it was very pressured and things were explained to us in very poor terms. When we tried to continue to work with them, they basically told us there was nothing they could do to help us without ultimately charging us even more money. We are stuck with a car we don't like or want with a payment that benefits only Scott Clark. I wouldn't recommend them at all due to there poor sales tactics, limited desire to help customers, and overall predatory behavior. Will absolutely never return.
Staff were helpful and friendly until it was time to fix transfer case on my equinox and my warranty mysteriously would not cover it. Will never go back.
Great service experience as usual. Excellent communication and complete efficiency from start to finish. The Service Team at SCT effectively troubleshot my vehicle's issues and successfully addressed them. A++
We didn t intend to purchase a car the day we arrived. My wife and I are turned off by high pressure sales and the next thing we knew, the team at Scott Clark had us in a better car than we had been looking at with a better price. Everyone there was very friendly and helpful. The sales and finance team are great and little extras really set them apart from what the other dealers were offering. I would caution anyone that is in the market for a new Toyato, make sure Scott Clark is your last stop, you will see the difference.
Crystal made this the best experience I have ever had at a car dealership. She is efficient, informative, and friendly.
Only frustration I had was that the leafs weren't in stock for the recall. This was not Crystal's fault! I called a week in advance and spoke with a different person to set up my appointment so I am not sure why they weren't available. This makes for additional cost for me to have to drive 20 miles back to the dealership.
Mohamad kept me constantly informed as to the progress of the repair. I don't know the mechanics name that worked on the truck, but he diagnosed a difficult problem very quickly. I am very pleased with the repair and the professionalism of all staff that I encountered during my wait.
Bought a used 4runner from Scott Clark Toyota. Worked with Bobby Hood, who was AWESOME. Bobby is a shining example of what a good sales person is: knowledgable and helpful, without being pushy. He even followed up a month later to make sure all was running well on the vehicle. Great experience.
Our salesman, Chris, was awesome! Not pushy, very at ease and let us take our time. We found exactly what we were looking for at the right price and they honored a $400 coupon I got on their website, plus a $25 amazon credit for taking a test drive. They hooked us up with free tint and some other pluses. Huge selection and they squeezed us in at detailing because the car had just come in. Wont shop anywhere else for used cars!!!
We always receive great service, professionalism and attention when we visit Scott Clark. Our service manager is Marshall Moore and he is outstanding. We will always take our cars to Scott Clark.
Very professional, engaged team. The whole experience was good; from the reception till my driving with my brand new Toyota. Special thanks to Jay Sadler (Sales) and Jose Batista (Finance).
DO NOT BUY HERE!!! i had the worst experience not only was the vehicle i purchased covered in scratches and dents and had 4 blad tires but after i took it home i noticed all of these ( you wouldnt think a vehicle would be on the lot in this shape let alone a 1 yr old vehicle) and i had to fight tooth and nail to get it fixed and even then it was an issue they were more concerned with the paperwork THEY forgot to get from me at the time of purchase patrick webb was my sales man and he was nothing but rude to myself and my fiance the entire time the vehicle was a 2014 we bought in 2015 and they're still bugging me with emails even though i've called 5 times to get them to stop! I was having surgery and laying in the hospital being prepped for surgery and they called me 15 times and texted me 23 times some including very rude and inappropriate words to use towards a customer! All that we were given for our troubles was new tires mine were bald anyways so that shouldve happened and some of the scratches fixed not even the dents because they said it would be to much trouble. i've worked in the car business 4 years now and i was shocked by how we were treated never again will i go back to scott clark
I used the internet sales department (Mike Black) for the second time to find the vehicle that I wished to purchase. Mike delivered on his word to get us the car we wanted at a price that we could work with. No games...no nonsense. Mike had the car ordered and delivered in less than a week. It took about 2.5 hours to do the paperwork and new car introduction. Everyone was nice and professional. Thanks to everyone.
5th time selling/buying a car and with the team at Scott Clark, always received great service. Specifically this last lease I got about a week ago, Mike Dorsaint (sales) and Julie Looney (finance) were fantastic to work with and incredibly fast. 10/10 would recommend to anyone car shopping
The person was very nice and courteous, and explain everything in detail. We replaced the battery, cause she showed us the test results, and since my wife drives the car most of the time I do not need her stranded on the side of the road. Thank Crystal for taking care of us. Marvin
Mr. Cruz made our first car buying experience very exciting! He was very informative and down to earth. We ll be back to see Mr. Cruz when it s time for an upgrade! :)))
Recently Paul Moore helped me get some information about trading in my 2018 4runner when the lease runs out shortly. He was great and gave me all the information i need and had great customer service. 10/10 would recommend Scott Clark Toyota!!
Robert Van Alstyne was an absolute pleasure to work with when I purchased my 2013 red Scion FR-S! He went above and beyond what I could have hoped for in not only a sales person but an actual friend that provided the honest facts and helped me make the most educated decision I could. Even after buying my new car, he continues to follow-up and make sure I am 100% satisifed with my purchase and he said he is available if I have any questions in the future. I could not have asked for a better buying experience. Scott Clark's Toyota City Scion is the best dealership I have ever visited and they set the bar extremely high for how vehicles should be sold.
My experience at Scott Clark was quite good. I would recommend you to my friends and family. All my concerns were handled professionally and efficiently.
We found a car online at Scott Clark Toyota and went to see it. We had Don Adams as our sales guy. He was laid back and friendly. He never pushed us or acted heavy handed at all. When we were looking over the car, he was knowledgeable and gave us specs and detailed info when we asked. He knew his stuff. The finance person was named Elliott. He was also very friendly and was not pushy. He got us financed and out the door with a great apr. Both he and Don had been there all day since 8:30am but were still upbeat and engaged. FYI - This was our first car purchase in several years. It was so much easier than our last purchase. I recommend Don and I recommend Scott Clark Toyota for your next car purchase.
I have 3 cars and bring all of them to Toyota. No one likes getting thier car serviced. This group makes it as easy as possible. The shuttle service wins my vote and the gentleman that drives you is wonderful! I feel like the service I get is above and beyond what I have experienced at other service departments. I give Shawn Butler 5 stars!
I had an emergency and I was Immediately accommodated by Marshall Moore and was fully explained what my car's issue was... no run-around, no issues and was in and out in an even shorter time than what I was told. WAY better experience than the Toyota dealership on South Boulevard. They have earned my business!
Great people to work with. We travelled two hours to get there so we could look at a particular vehicle and we were not disappointed. The dealership is huge, yet comfortable - good for wiggly kids, and we all left happy.
A great place to get your car serviced. They seemed to be low on staff when I went in for my scheduled appointment so I waited about 10 minutes for a representative. This is the first time this has happened in the 7 years of coming here so I did not mind the wait. My car is always taken excellent care of and the service department is top notch.
The experience we had at Scott Clark was really great!! Our Salesman Steve was awesome, very friendly and gave us very good deal!! He was very helping and guiding us throughout the end.
Scott Clark Toyota has done a great job in servicing my 2011 Toyota Prius. Shawn Butler is my service rep and does a wonderful job of making sure all my service is done in a timely manner. Shawn Butler and Scott Clark make a great team!!
This was my first time buying a car and I had a wonderful experience I want to think Mike, Mallory and Leudy on the wonderful experience I highly recommend this dealership!!!
Lied to get us to come in: Jeff from Scott Clark Toyota told us he had a hundred more used minivans than listed online. When we arrived, we were told by an African American salesman that wasn't true. I said, "That was deceptive." The salesman responded "No, he was just saying that to get you in" as if dishonesty is okay in business. Upon hearing that we left. Honesty and ethics is everything in business.
Every time I go to this dealership I feel like I m in good hands. The service department is always very nice, and fairly quick. This time I got my 80,000 mile check and it included an oil change and it was done in 90 minutes (which Is quick for a dealership from my experience). One time I had a problem with the sales department, and it was handled in a way I never thought I dealership would help. Stuart went above and beyond to help me. They seem to really care about their customers and want them to return, and not just for the money, because they truly want happy customers. Shocking I know!
2019 RAV4 hybrid Limited We bought this SUV on May 28, 2019 from Scoot Clark Toyota In Stallings, NC. They needed to find a RAV4 to match our request and called us later that week at our home near Myrtle Beach, SC. Salesman Cannon Baker said they would deliver it to our home and pick up our trade in and would review the features and hook up our iPhones. The man that delivered our RAV4 on June 4; changed the license plates and left. When I asked him if he was going to review the vehicle with us and hook up our phones, he replied I don t know how. Then he left. We called Cannon at the dealership and he said he would have someone call us to help us. A girl did call back about 2 hours later and told us to take it to a dealership near us. We called back and left a message for Cannon to call us but did not hear back from him. We called again Wednesday and left another message for Cannon but did not hear back from him. Later Wednesday we called Sparks Toyota in Conway, SC and asked if they could help and she said just bring the car in and they would be happy to help. On Thursday we took the car to Sparks Toyota and met with Rick Titus, a sales consultant who spend the next 45 minutes reviewing the vehicle and connecting our iPhones. Rick did an excellent job! We still have not heard from Cannon or anyone connected with Scott Clark Toyota. We had told Cannon we did not want green, black or white interior or exterior. He asked what color we wanted and told him gray or silver interior and exterior. He said the vehicle they found was gray exterior with ash interior, when we asked what color that was he said light gray, which was fine. It turned out to be a small strip of light gray on the dashboard and down the middle of the seats and the majority is black. Was also told that the vehicle had heated seats as well as cooled seats and 19 inch tires but we ended up with only heated seats and 18 inch tires. The vehicle also had 755 miles on it, that s a lot of miles for a new vehicle. Also we were told the vehicle was coming from Wilmington, NC when in fact it came from Statesville, NC , only 5 miles from Scott Clark Toyota. NOT HAPPY CUSTOMERS!!!!! Would not recommend them!!!
Top notch service from Scott Clark Toyota at 13000 E Independence, Mathews. My Venza gets serviced in this location all the time for the last 5 years. On my recent visit, Steve Vadala vast knowledge of his job played a great role in ensuring proper care was accorded to my crossover. Thank so much Steve and the entire team of Scott Clark Toyota.
Scott Clark is fantastic! My family and I have bought 3 cars through them and have had great experiences each time. Mike Miller took great care of us and we are very happy with our purchases. The service department is awesome to deal with as well! Can t recommend them enough!
I was pleased with the congeniality of my sales persons. It still over 6 hours to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted. It was an ordeal! Ii was exhausted after. I would, however, recommend them to a friend.
Remember those Carmax commercials about the badgers? Its about this dealership. The salesmen will tell you literally ANYTHING to get out the door with a car. Very agresaive and deceptive sales practices. If you're looking for a good buying experience, keep looking. This isn't it.
Fast dependable service. They are prompt and care that you are satisfied with your car and service. Highly recommend. Have dealt with Billy in service for many years and appreciate that he takes care of me.
Staci was wonderful... she was extremely helpful with the delivery of my car and the entire process of setting up all of my details. She was super patient and kind! So grateful! Thank you!
We searched and waited nearly a year for my wife s attainable dream car, the 2020 4Runner TRD Pro in Army Green. Jeff White and Jacques Deadwiley from Scott Clark Toyota were literally the only folks in the entire southeastern United States that were willing to put in the work to make sure that my wife received the vehicle that she truly wanted. Happy wife, happy life. I wanted to buy from a dealership closer to our home town but it was worth the drive to Scott Clark Toyota.
I originally started shopping the internet for my Prius C in January of 2012. Even though they weren't out yet,Robert Van Alstyne called and told me that he would start to look and see if any sites received some early. He kept in contact through email and phone calls without the usual pressure that some sales associates put on prospective buyers. 4 months later Robert followed up with me to see if I was still interested in the Prius C because they actually had several on the lot.The test-driving experience was excellent. He gave us a quote, got some information from us and told us to give him a call when we are ready to buy,,,all of this ONCE again without putting a lot of pressure to purchase at that point. The bottom line is that Robert provided excellent service and gave us all the information need to make an intelligent decision without pressure. By the end of May we decided to go ahead and buy our new Prius C. 5 months later, we can say that the purchasing process was almost as enjoyable as driving around in our new Prius.
This was my first service experience at Scott Clark's Toyota since buying a used car from them several months ago. I've always heard that you shouldn't go to dealers for service, and being a single woman, I was a bit apprehensive. It was a great experience. Rickey Wright gave good assistance and made sure I knew the process. My service was speedy, and I got to relax in a comfortable lounge inside the dealership. Rickey even gave me a map and explained the new entrance to the dealership, because of upcoming road construction. 'll definitely be back for future service.
I purchased my vehicle from Scott Clark Toyota in 2011 and continue to have my car serviced there. I actually pass another dealership to have my car serviced here.
Well, I experienced poor service for the first time and it was bad. I stood there for 5 to 8 minutes and no one acknowledged my presence. That normally doesn't happen. And, they weren't even busy at the moment. It took 2 and 1/2 hours for an oil change. Once I finally got checked out, it took 10 minutes to get my car and they had not returned my wheel lock so I waited even longer.
So I was there from 8am to 10:50am for an oil change! Ridiculous.
Possibly the most confusing car buying experience I've had. After we agreed on a price, the process was extremely unorganized. I had to call my salesman on his mobile number twice just to figure out where we suppose to be and wth was going on.
To top it off, we had to send the vehicle back into detailing so they could remove the dealer emblem and the sticker residue. We discussed this before signing the papers.
We won't be purchasing another vehicle here, even though Bruce Wayne was an exceptional sales associate.
Great place to have my car serviced and excellent customer service from the service representative. The service rep name is Kris Johnson and he's awesome!
First and last time we purchase a vehicle from this place. My wife and son came to this dealer looking for a new truck and could not get out of the contract after they had signed the contract. Take special attention to how they steal from consumers and make you believe they gave you a deal. After you see the vehicle, their sales rep brings you to the office and give you a contract which discloses the following information. Market Value Selling Price $37,978.00 (MSRP $36,183.00 plus the equipment also known as the ADDENDUM $1,795.00. This information is on the vehicle attached to the windshield) and then right below on the contract there is another entry called ADDENDUM which was entered for $1,795.00. As you may notice the ADDENDUM is charged twice (Market Value selling price + Addendum and below a separe entry for the Addendum) So when you are ready to leave the dealer because you feel there is no agreement on the vehicle cost they ask you to wait so they can talk to the manager. Once they come back with the contract after they talk to the manager they include a discount on the contract which is almost the same amount as the ADDENDUM charged twice. In this case the discount my son received was for $176,00. Not $1,971.00. The day after my son had signed the contract we came back to the dealer to talk with the manager about this issue. We spoke to the sales manager, sales rep and financial person and all they agreed that the contract was fine and there was nothing irregular on the contract. Don t let this happen to you, read contracts carefully and don t let dealers like Scott Clark take advantage of you. This is perfectly a rip off deal.
I've waited about 3 months to write my review...I bought a 2014 chevy equinox. The car buying experience itself wasn't awful. Marcos was a pretty decent guy. Finance guy was nice, waited on him for about an hour. Not his fault since he wasn't even scheduled to be there. Service manager is clueless, had a dash piece missing when I bought my suv, made an appt to come back and was never told they would need to keep my car for 3 days. Get there and they have to scramble to get a rental. I have to call to see if my car is ready, never got a call. Once I got there to pick it up they couldn't find it. Still never got my spare key I was promised and almost 100 miles of gas was used in the 3 days they had my car. I bought a maintenance plan but I don't know that I want to go back to the dealership to use it.
Our experience at Scott Clark's Toyota was wonderful. From the time Billy Carroll, assistant service manager introduced me to Robert Van Alstyne, I felt comfortable working with Robert on the purchase of our 2008 Highlander. Robert looked after all of our needs and put any concerns to rest. Peter Moren, the Finance Manager was also a pleasure to work with. NO high pressure, which made purchasing a car from Scott Clark's a pleasure. The lady who showed us available accessories was also very helpful. One surprise we had was after the purchase Dianna came out to put the new tags on and she went over all of the controls on our new car, including setting up the Bluetooth for our phones. Wonderful sales and service. We will continue to have both of our Toyotas serviced by Scott Clark and will return when another car is needed.
The team at Scott Clark Toyota made it easy to purchase a new vehicle. They provided a safe environment and at the same time did a fantastic job of making sure all our needs for a new vehicle were met. Truly a good experience to have. Thank you to that team.
DJ Durst really helped me out by reducing the price of my monthly car bill and reducing my interest rate by refinancing my car loan. Very happy with the results. Thank you, DJ!!
Paul Moore and everyone at Scott Clark Toyota went above and beyond for me and my wife to make the deal not only happen but helped us with questions after the purchase. Excellent customer service and we highly recommend buying your next vehicle from them!! We are very impressed which is not an easy task with car dealers!! Thank you all again!
Scheduled a service appointment on Labor day at 7:30 a.m. when arriving for my appointment the Assistant Service Manager name Mr. Zajac had very poor customer service. Usually when having a service appointment, a representative will properly walk around the car to check the vehicle. But Mr. Zajac did not even check my vehicle in. Once arriving Mr. Zajac stated he would like me to walk to his desk to discuss about my vehicle. He provided me with a 30,000-mile maintenance report sheet. Inform Mr. Zajac my car has not reach 30,000 miles. At that point was highly upset because each service begins with a free safety report from a technician. Worst experience I ever had from Scott Clark Toyota. Would highly recommend going somewhere else for service.
