My husband and I were yelled at by the sales manager because we wanted their bottom line price so that we could compare to the price we had gotten from the Mazda dealer. I will never shop with them again. Needless to say, we got the Mazda after 20 years of owning a Toyota.
Very quick and efficient service. Archie was very helpful and knowledgable. I loved the manicure. That was a very pleasant surprise! I've been to a lot of Toyota dealerships but Scott Clark was by the most accommodating and efficent.
I took my 2007 Lexus GX470 in to get the AC fixed. That plus an oil change cost nearly $2,000 because the dash needed to be removed. My dash had one barely noticeable crack in it before, and this is how they returned it to me. They didn't even say anything when I picked it up. When we contacted them to complain they outright told us that it was an older car and this was to be expected and even likened it to a person getting older. They absolutely refused to help in any way. In the end, I asked for a refund in the amount of a dash cover and they refuse to respond to any correspondence. To add insult to injury, our heat is only working on one side now, and they won't contact us regarding that complaint either. I will never do business with this company again and will actively discourage friends and coworkers from doing so. All because customer service completely went out the window the moment they got paid. My wife also posted a review and they asked for more info. She sent it to them, and unsurprisingly has received no response. Completely unacceptable.
What an exceptional experience! The staff at Scott Clark is friendly, knowledgeable, fast, and courteous! I feel like I got a great deal on an amazing vehicle. I had been trying to replace a Highlander after a wreck, I was dreading the process, but this experience was wonderful and speedy. Johnnie Fluker kept things rolling and did a great job communicating with me frequently and following up. Since I live outside of Charlotte, this was all done without ever even stepping foot in the dealership. My vehicle was delivered to me today, and I had the pleasure of meeting Jack and George who delivered it to my home.Wow, what a joy they were! I will definitely be recommending Scott Clark to my friends and family!
Did the 5k service and most went well except the car was semi washed. Had to wipe down myself with towel and the wheels were dirty. Also the white service sticker on the windshield was so glaring I immediately remove it. Overall I was pleased with service.
Never seen such sleazy sales tactics, actually so excessive in the manipulation it was actually disgusting. I would stay away unless you want to sift through days of manipulative sales tactics.

Crystal got me in for a major scheduled maintenance with no waiting. She explained what things were recommended on the maintenance and other things that could wait until my next appointment. Crystal also arranged for me to have a loaner and gave me the option to keep it overnight if it was more convenient.
At checkout, Yvette explained the option of setting up a service account since we get both cars serviced here. It worked out great because I not only got a discount on the service but also will get a $50 prepaid Visa for signing up for the service plan. Both Crystal and Yvette are great representatives of the company.
I have to say my most recent visit to Scott Clark Toyota delivered an exceptional customer experience. My service advisor, Brian, took the time to provide focused attention as to the reason for my visit. On 2 separate occasions he came out to provide info on the work that needed to be done and advised of expected timeline.
In contrast, my last 2 visits to Scott Clark were very much the opposite of what I experienced on 4/12. My last visit was to have a $500+ remote starter installed. One would think that after that type of expense, someone would have taken the time to ensure I understood how it worked; nope. After looking around for assistance they were finally able to track down the accessories advisor. The capper was the vehicle was not washed, which also happened on my visit prior to that.
I chose not to write a negative review for the last 2 visits as I thought that was the customer experience I could expect despite the investment I made when I bought my new vehicle in 2016.
To bring round full circle, not only did Brian ask me if I wanted the truck washed, he drove it into the service center!

A couple of weeks ago Scott Clark sold me a used 2016 Toyota Sienna w/ 52k miles on it but did not disclose the extensive damage in the engine and under the body and frame due to heavy rust and corrosion. When I brought this to their attention they dismissed it as nothing and told me Well, the bank owns your car now. They didn t take me and my family seriously. It seems as though their financial goal trumped their moral compass. I learned two big lessons that day: take more time to THOROUGHLY inspect the engine/transmission of the car you want to buy and don t shop at Scott Clark Toyota.

The service department had an available appointment that fit my busy schedule. I was able to get in and out of the service department very quickly. Enjoying the free car wash is always a nice bonus!
I m astonished at how highly rated this dealership is, as I ve had nothing but an awful experience. I put a downpayment on a new car, but after some gross mishandling of my paperwork, decided to back out. I was told by the general sales manager that this was not possible because I signed for the car (I didn t) and when I told her that I had not signed, she pretty much tore her salespeople and finance manager a new one (in front of us) and eventually gave me the money back. The only saving grace of this dealership was the finance manager, Ace, who did everything in his power to make it right and even paid for the $500 restock fee (which we were never told about) out of pocket. He deserves a raise, but the rest of them are incredibly unprofessional and lack basic communication skills.
My service advisor was great and I appreciate him staying on top of my concerns. I was just a little upset because the operator I placed my appointment with promised a clean up of my car, and that was not done. Overall, it was good.
I came to Scott Clark for a tire rotation and to have them look at one of my back tires which had a slow leak. They also took the time to to bring out their tire expert and explained to me the wear and tear on my tires and why it would be wise to get new tires. Due to the very busy schedule they still fit me and came by often on up dates. I have always had a good experience at Scott Clark and recommend them highly.
Fraud is the best way to describe their practices. I bought a used car from them advertised online with heated seats and a moonroof, premium model infiniti. when they delivered the car it had none of those features it was a base model. Even though the dealer tag, which they left on the car advertised those features. I am convinced that this was intentional as the original dealer tag was in the vehicle. When i called to complain their finance department said they would hold the paperwork and not send it though financing in an effort to find me another car. There words to me where they own many dealerships including the infiniti store at lake norman. After a month i got tired of waiting and decided to just wash my hands and return the car. Only to find out they lied again and processed the financing on the car. I assume they took advantage of me because i am an out of state buyer, but i wonder if this is just common practice for them as no one at the dealership seems to think this is a big deal. You expect this from a buy here pay here but not a major dealership.

It was a busy day for them (didn t realize that Monday afternoons were popular ?). My car was half-washed, and I wish I had more time to ask questions like can I get an oil change here and now, since it s not included in my 5k check up? I m a bit annoyed with that. Oh well. Their WiFi was terrible, but the people were nice enough. I will come back again but make sure to bring my hotspot.

We were moving from Charlotte to Florida and didn't even make it off of 485 before 1 of our 2 newer cars broke down. We had the tow truck take it to our original dealer (NOT SCT). After going back and forth on price (it would have cost more than it was worth to repair) and feeling pressured and taken advantage of, we were referred over to Jimmy at Scott Clark Toyota. Jimmy called us immediately and then put us in touch with Paul with online sales. He was amazing; in fact, the entire dealership was the best experience we have ever had. Paul handled everything for us as he knew we were closing on our new home and starting new jobs. We bought the car, we found a delivery service to pick it up, and Paul had moved the items from the old car to the new car. It was a little unnerving buying a car we had never looked at or done a test drive; however, the car is absolutely perfect. We will only ever buy from Scott Clark (even living in a different state 9 hours away). We trust them completely and would recommend them to anyone who is local to Charlotte or states away.

BUYER BEWARE!!! Be careful if purchasing used autos here. They purchase wrecked/damaged vehicles and sell at retail without disclosing to the customer. Sure you can "ask for the CarFax", but if they purchase and sell before it hits the CarFax, you're up the creek once the accident is reported. Dirty Dirty business here.
This is the absolute worst Toyota Dealership I have ever walked into. I had an appointment set to pick up a car at 5:15 PM... I show up, and my car is sold. I was willing to buy a new car but they thought it would be nice to insult me and offer zero discount. The salesman, who was frustrated someone sold his car went to get his boss... 45 minutes later I didn't even ever here from the "Manager". I walked out, went to honda and bought a car.
These people are slimy and will try to do your wrong. STAY AWAY!
Had a great experience at Scott Clark's..Shane Watson was my salesman..I could not ask for a better salesman. He was not pushy..I went in with what I WANTED, not needed, and he was very accommodating to my wants. My husband was out of town and he even helped me get the paperwork signed and sent back. If you are ever in the market for a vehicle please go see Shane he will do whatever is possible to put you in a vehicle!!

The worst customer service ever. Put additional miles on a leased car but forgot to include them into contact. Dealer did not contact my insurance company so I had to send insuranve info to toyota financial services myself. Etc etc. Looks like they only want your money without bothering themselves about the service
First of all I rarely leave reviews for anything but had to write about the awesome experience we had at this store! My wife and I came in to look at 4Runners and were greeted by Leudy, one of the salesmen at the dealership. Right away we felt comfortable with his NON pushy approach to us and willingness to help us look at vehicles without selling us right out of the gate. He took his time and did not rush or push us once. In the end we purchased a 4Runner from him and were also taken care of very well by the finance manager Phillip who again did not push anything on us. This was a simple buying experience which is rare to most dealerships anymore. Thank you again guys for being the exception to most dealerships anymore!

Would absolutely not recommend visiting this dealership. Sales process was pleasant but finance team horrased us to death on buying a warranty after we repeatedly told them no. Discovered damage to the front end of the car after getting it home that the dealership was very hestitant to fix.

My wife and I just purchased a new Toyota 4Runner from Scott Clark Toyota. I used Travis Wilson and was very pleased. He listened to what car features we wanted and he offered his advice on how to best match our new vehicle. During the 2-3 week period we were looking Travis always communicated quickly and was enjoyable to work with. When we finally came down to discussing pricing I pushed him and his dealer on a fair price point and Travis was very professional and listened to our thoughts calmly and we settled on a fair price. I was probably the most impressed with Travis during this period. He called to check in after the purchase and ensured some features we need to be added where done so in a timely manner. I would highly recommend both Travis and the Scott Clark team on a job well done. We plan on using them in the future when purchasing a Highlander in 2-3 years.

Have always had a good experience getting service on the Kia Rio I bought from Scott Clark.... until now. I had them replace the front brakes after it was recommended. Immediately after, it started making a scraping / rubbing sound. Took it back and they admitted that they cut the rotors incorrectly. Offered to sell me new ones. I said no, fix what you did. They recut them, with the warning that it would not quite be "Kia recommended." That seemed to fix it, but now is scraping and rubbing again. I will have to get new rotors at some point, but will get them from some place else.
EDIT: I only recently saw the response to my review after getting a Google alert (initially couldn't find my posted review and then forgot about it). I called Mr. Phelps and he was very nice and wanting to get to a resolution. Made an appointment to have the rotors looked at. The end result was that Scott Clark replaced them at cost (no labor), which I considered a fair outcome. My thanks goes out to Mr. Phelps and service manager Wesley at the dealership.
I recently bought a brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma from Scott Clark Toyota. My friend had bought a car from salesman James Perkins and she swore by him. I went and saw him myself. He exceeded my expectations! I never felt pressured one bit and he made sure that I was super comfortable with my purchase. No buyers remorse whatsoever. I went to Scott Clark's Toyota City due to it being the biggest Toyota dealer around. I knew what I was looking for and Travis Wilson helped point me in the right direction. He was honest and upfront about everything I asked him. Totally satisfied with my new FJ Cruiser and the quality of service myself and my wife received. We were not attacked by salesmen which is a huge plus. Travis did an excellent job at getting me the vehicle I wanted for the right price, and did me a solid on my trade. Twice in the last 6 months I have tried to purchase a vehicle for myself or a family member. The first time no one would call me back after promises. I was traveling at the time and was trying to work out over the phone. NO SERVICE AT ALL
I found an used vehicle that we have been looking for online I tried again this week to get information on a used vehicle to no avail. I asked for information over the email and even made an offer with no response after addtional 2 emails. I then called after 5 and talked to sales person and worked out the deal and he was going to email me info that they needed. He called to say they could not find the vehicle and he was going to call me back in 45 min when manager came in. That was 16 hours ago and still no call.
This is only the second review I have ever done. SCOTT CLARK TOYOTA is a terrible service company in my opinion and everyone should be aware.
Car was not serviced correctly. I asked for a state inspection to be done among other things. I was then charged for more than my initial quote WITHOUT my car having been inspected & was not made aware! Now that I'm trying to get the issue corrected, my service representative won't answer her phone or return the calls! They just don't care about you once you pay.

Purchased a truck from them this past Saturday, all went well with sale. The reason for only 2 stars is that I had a couple of simple questions come up. Left Multiple phone messages and emails to both salesperson and finance guy as well as internet sales manager. It's been 2 days and no response from anyone. I guess you're only important if you're buying!........Update! I did finally get in touch with someone last evening and got my questions answered. Upgrading to 4 stars, would have been 5 except for this delay in communicating with me.
Jimmy Cline and Travis Wilson made the buying of my new 2016 Toyota Tundra a very quick, easy, and pleasant experience. Jimmy Cline (General Sales Manager) is a good friend and great guy. Wanting to give me the best care in my search for the right truck, he handed me over to his trusted salesman, Travis Wilson, who is also a great guy. They found me the exact truck I needed. We have three little boys and another on the way, so we needed a truck that would not only take me hunting & work on the farm, but also legally seat six people. There is only one model that can do that; the Tundra SR w/ a folding console in the front seat. They found the only truck that would work, in the color I wanted (black), and had it delivered to the dealership (Scott Clark's Toyota). They went above and beyond by putting some special touches on the truck just for me. Jimmy Cline has a huge heart and is always a pleasure to deal with. Travis Wilson was extremely kind and patient, and super accommodating of the unique needs and desires of our family. Both of these men were great to deal with and I'd highly recommend them to anybody looking for a new vehicle.
