This was my 2nd vehicle purchased at Scott Clark Toyota and my 3rd vehicle purchased from Paul Moore. Yes, I bought a vehicle from him when he was with an other dealer. When I was in the market for my next vehicles, I tracked him down-he is that good. I was especially happy to find him with Scott Clark Toyota, since I purchase Toyota vehicles. Thank you again Paul for all your help!

It's was a good vist this time. The last time I vist to get my Auto butler cleaning I sat there from about 7:30 that to 3:30 that after noon and they never touch my car I kept OMG asking the guy that waited on me and he just kept saying is was going to be up in a min. Well they ended up giving me rental car to drive home . I was so upset. Then the manger came out and apologize . I was still up set. Then I gave me a $50.00 credit toward my next service. I had to actually ask for it. But I reminded them from my last vist what happen and if it happen this time I wasn't leaving until I had talk with Scott Clark him self . So they did a good job getting me in and out this time.
My Toyota was purchased from Scott Clark Toyota and has always been serviced only by Scott Clark Toyota. Why? Because Scott Clark Toyota provides flexible service appts, their mechanics and other support staff are all very professional and courteous. I recommend Scott Clark Toyota to any friends or family who is in need of service on a supported automobile brand OR is in the market for a new vehicle that is sold by or available thru Scott Clark Toyota!
I was looking for a Toyota Highlander and the sales person Barbara Katona helped show me the car, explanined everything in detail and it was the most pleasant car shopping experience I have ever had. She was very easy to talk to/work with and there was no pressure to buy at all. I will definatly return to Scott Clark's Toyota and to Barbara Katona.
Jeremy Holt was exceptionally helpful when I brought my Highlander in for service. He made sure the auto butler was not done when it was raining and made sure that all of my concerns were addressed. I always have a good experience at Scott Clark's Toyota service center and have never had an issue that was not handled promptly and to my satisfaction. They clearly understand customer service and I would not take my vehicle anywhere else! Jeremy has handled my service more than once and does a great job!!
Went in with a mask and gloves keeping social distance to pick up a part.... Everyone there is close together not wearing any protection and multiple people were coughing up a storm ... This dealer doesn't care about it's clients nor it's employees.
I was advised by Justin Bustle for my Lexus. He is honest and gave me expert advise on the service requirements. He didn't force me to get any service done which was not required. I highly recommend him.
Larry Carrillo and Matt Floyd helped me into a great car for a great price. Abby also did an outstanding job, my new car was detailed while I did paperwork and it looks super clean. I will recommend Scott Clark's Toyota to all my friends and family!
Mixed experience. Plus: The facility and staff have a professional demeanor. Minus: Here's my experience. I drove over an hour to see a late model used car with a clean carfax and low miles. Walking up to the car, it was immediately obvious that it had been repaired rather hastily. Getting to the bottom of it, the car had been side-swiped on the lot, and repaired in-house. I'm not in the business and don't know what requires carfax reporting, but being that the car had been repaired by them and this was not disclosed, I was seeing a lot of red flags. If the parts of the repair that I could see were shoddy, isn't it safe to assume the parts I could not see were also shoddy? Similarly, if the establishment was being shifty about hiding their damage to the car, shouldn't I be concerned about what else they might be hiding? For someone who didn't look at the car very closely or wasn't concerned about how long a poor repair might last, I'm sure they would have happily sold the car and not looked back.
So to summarize, I don't have any undisputed proof that these guys are shady, but there are some pretty compelling, though potentially explainable, reasons to be suspicious. Knowing what I know now I would not have wasted the time that I did there. I should have left as soon as I saw the first car, and not spent another 2 hours while they tried to find something else on the lot to sell me. Kudos for trying at least.
Made my appointment yesterday for 3:00 Saturday oil change and tire rotation check all fluids breaks truck washed also. Thanks for the quick service!!!
Everything was wonderful it was fast they did everything like they promised I came all the way from Jacksonville Florida 2 North Carolina to pick up the truck and I had a wonderful experience I highly recommend you and I will be doing business with you again from now on.
I visited several different dealerships in our search for a new car. Scott Clark Toyota was far and above the most pushy and salesy. My sales person must have been new. They didn't know much about the car and just rambled during our test drive (BTW, other dealerships told me that due to COVID they weren't supposed to ride along in test drives ... if that is true, your sales person violated that). I was open about not purchasing that day but they pushed. They insisted I sit and talk to the manager but then they made me wait 20 minutes for the manager to come. The manager tried asking all kinds of questions that I had already answered with the sales person and then tried to upsell me on a higher model than I had driven earlier and in a color I had said I didn't want. It was just a terrible approach. They seem very arrogant about being the biggest dealership. I left there and drove straight to one of their competitors and bought a car from them the next day. The competitor's sales experience was night and day from Scott Clark. It was low pressure, no sleaze. I won't ever go back to Scott Clark. They just played games and alienated someone who was serious about buying a car. My advice to them is to listen to the customer who is telling you what they're thinking.
Scott Clark has never been my dealership of choice. My past experiences with their sales people were horrible, ranging from open impatience with me and lack of courtesy after finding out I was not buyig that day, to aggressive selling strategies during pricing negotiations. Raysi Cruz turned all that around. During my service visit there a couple weeks ago he asked me for a chance to change my mind about Scott Clark, and he was so nice, so polite and honest, that I decided to give him a chance. Raysi went above and beyond what I could expect from a sales guy after having had 9 car purchases under my belt. Buying a car from Scott Clark wasn't easy but Raysi stood there with me. When did you ever feel that your sales person represents you in the process and not the dealership? 9 times in my life I did not. Raysi changed that. Now, I do have to say that I am not an easy customer to deal with. I do financial analysis for a living and I come to a dealeraship after an extensive research about the current market (prices, volumes, interest rates, etc. ). Dealers don't like my kind of customer and alot of times I get that openly from them . Raysi was different. Every challenge I threw at him during the process, he met with a smile, 100% understanding of my perspective and complete professionalism. He worked with me on every nuance I had - from giving me a fair deal on the sales price to the right out of the door total. I need to mention that of all other dealers I dealt with in the past, Scott Clark is the most expensive when it comes to delaer fee and other charges (they charge you $208 for tag fee for example by adding $136 of electronic filing to DMV's $72 tag transfer fee, which may or may not be what they do in reality, but I know for sure certain dealers only charge $72 for tag transfer), and Raysi continued to work hard to bring the deal to my complete satisfaction. I am not sure what magic he pulled but my out the door total was a very competetive number within 100 mile radius. Buttom line is - Scott Clark has a lot to work on when it comes to fair market pricing but I will go there for my next car as long as Raysi Cruz is there, cause I know even though it will be a tough battle again, Raysi will put me in a car, and make sure I leave that place 100% satisfied with what I paid for. If you read this because you are considerig Scott Clark Toyota for your next car purchase, I' d say do your due diligence and make sure you ask for Raysi Cruz once you there.
We bought our third car at this dealership this week. When it comes to health, maintenance, and big purchases, I covet finding relationships with people I can trust. Mike Miller has certainly been one of those people for our family. He always battles for us to get the best price possible. I've also had nothing but good experiences with all the people I have interacted with at Scott Clark. If you're looking for a dealership and salesperson you can trust, I recommend you going to see Mike!
Great environment to buy a new or use car. Very quick and excellent service. The Scott Clark Toyota team will whatever they can to find you the best option for you and your family with the most affordable price. If you are looking to buy your next Toyota in the Charlotte area don t hesitate in visit Scott Clark Toyota and ask for Mike Miller, he will help you to find your next car, great profesional and even better person.
Best Toyota dealership in town! 10/10 would recommend! I just got my 2019 Toyota Camry XLE during their end of the year incentives and got my car for a really good deal. I didn t think I was going to get the desired price but they easily accepted my offer! They were also super fast during the buying process and made sure everything was set in place. My sales representative (Joseph Le) was very professional and friendly. He took me in along with his managers and the staff in which they were all very considerate and superb!
My wife and I had a great experience at Scott Clark Toyota and our salesman Michael Black was extremely helpful in securing a great deal for us on our brand new 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD offroad 4x4. We love it!! Thanks
UPDATE: Received the call from Mr. Stuart, hope to have the issue resolved.
I got a car and a service plan from them in Oct 2015. The service plan which they sold to me is not honored outside Charlotte. When I purchased the vehicle, I clearly told Mr. Mike Brown that I am going to move outside NC and he said this plan would be eligible everywhere. And now when I am aware of the fact that its not honored at other places and want my money back, he is not responding to my calls/emails. I atleast call/email 20 times before writing this. They dont even feel the sense of responsibility to call back or respond to the emails.
Beware guys, don't buy any additional plan from them, I would say avoid buying car from them at all. I don't know how will I get my 2400$ I paid them for the service plan.
Buying my car at Toyota was great. What I haven't liked is that when getting my services they give you the option of the shuttle or to pay for a rental. Being a single parent I can't afford the rental so I was glad to hear at my last services (after waiting for the shuttle for an hour or more) that they were going to give me a rental since my car was still under warranty. Then I call today to schedule another service appointment just to hear "Well the last service care agent you had no longer works for us and that was something she did but we dont do" . So now I'm left with no choice but to wait for a shuttle with a 2 year old or spend more money for a rental. The convenience just went out the window.
Our Sienna is great! It s a smooth ride, and has a lot of storage. we got a good price and the sales team was helpful and kind. We also like the lifetime warranty offer for major repairs.
Mike Miller was a great help while buying my car! Being young I was scared somebody was going to try and scam me but thankfully everything went smooth and I went home happy with a new car!!! Thank you mike!
Archie Newton and the team did a great job diagnosing several issues that were repaired under warranty. I always feel like Archie and the team at Scott Clark have my back. Thank You!
I went to this dealership yesterday (10/31/20) to purchase a Rav4. I was given a high price, so was debating whether I wanted it or not. The salesman brought the price that I wanted to the finance manager, who said not possible, and so came back to me to ask what I wanted my monthly payments to be. I told him my monthly payments I wanted and he wrote it down and asked me to sign it so that he will spend his time trying to get it for me, only if i "promise" to him that I'd buy it if he can get it for me at that price. I saw that the term was not listed, so added 72 months, and signed it, and asked me how my credit was before I left, to which I told him "excellent." Salesman comes back with a credit application, which implied they agreed to my monthly amount and loan term. When I see the form, I ask "does this mean it was accepted?" to which he replied "have to see if your credit is as good as you say it is...then yeah" I was happy, and completed the credit application (included my confidential information) and essentially authorizing SC Toyota to run my credit. Salesman comes back with finance manager who has numbers that has exceeded my desired monthly amount, and said that is the best we can do. I asked him "did you run my credit misleading me into thinking you will give me my desired monthly payment?" and salesman felt defensive, because he knows he was wrong, and kept telling me that's not what he did (when it really was exactly what he did). I explained the situation to this Finance Manager, and that I am particularly concerned because I AM in the market for a car, and don't want my credit being hit. I was being told I was wrong! (GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, GUYS!!). The finance manager then tells me "I heard the story already you don't have to keep repeating it" (dismissing me, basically telling me to shut up in a very politically correct way). I asked him if it was a soft inquiry or hard inquiry (to calm my nerves a little) and he said "it's the same thing, soft or hard, we checked your credit" (NOT A TRUE STATEMENT! He is telling this to someone with a financial background, but I schooled him), basically he was telling me to "get over it" in that manner. I told him my biggest concern is that I only gave my credit application because I was under the impression that they agreed to my monthly desired amount. To which his response was "I'd like to live in a lake house for $2500 a month, I can't do that...we all want things that we cannot get" he continued to tell me how much HE (or his wife) pays for HIS vehicle (AS IF THAT PERTAINS TO ME!!!). I was livid, but kept my cool. No cursing, no anger, NOTHING. I was pretty well composed. When he went back to see if he can come close to my desired monthly amount, I was discussing with my wife what just happened and she said "he is VERY condescending and rude, I cannot believe he's in sales," and I thought I was actually being very sensitive, and then realized it was NOT just me, he WAS in fact condescending and rude. When he comes back, he tells me the best that he can do is $20 a month above my desired amount, but guess what he did? he changed the term loan!!! He extended that by 3 months, to make up for the rest of the money he "took off" claiming he "beat" the bank that I quickly googled up to find the APR they were offering. I was rightfully upset and just told him "you're a VERY condescending person, and I DON'T appreciate the way you are speaking to me, after I was the one who was LIED to and MISLED by YOU AND YOUR STAFF, I WILL be writing a review, and I want to speak to the owner of this dealership RIGHT NOW to explain what just went down"
End result: He gave me my term and the desired monthly amount. I have high blood pressure, and was shaking all day because I was so furious.
Read my Yelp review!!!
***I will update this post with the Finance Manager's name, because I feel like he deserves a special shoutout!***
Outstanding sales staff. Very helpful on vehicle features and Not pushy for sales . I got a 2016 4Runner at great price . I would recommend Scott Clarks dealship as a must stop when shopping for a vehicle . Process was quick and effortless and Alex made the decissoin easy for us to decide to trade our SUV for a Toyota truck that we love and very happy we did. Great salesman, Alex really explains everything and has made this a pleasurable experience. Job Well Done
I was greeted immediately upon entering by a friendly and helpful person that took al my information for my service requirements. The service was completed ahead of schedule and before I left he made sure that all was as I expected. I had a very good feeling as I left the service area, very happy.
Very nice people and are willing to negotiate to get you the vehicle of your choice and color. Very motivated salespeople and willing to work with you.
I am a new customer so it was Crystal Kush that I spoke with when I called to set up a service appointment. She was very helpful and professional. Told me how to get to the service area and what to do which greatly alleviated my anxiety. She greeted me and then when my car was finished she explained what had been done and that someone else would drive my car to the front door for me. All in all it was a very pleasant experience. Thank you, Crystal!
I had such an excellent experience at Scott Clark. I had previously tried to purchase a car at a different location, and felt as though I wasn't taken seriously. The sales people as well as managers, and finance team at Scott Clark worked with me to meet my conditions and get me in the car I wanted. I will continue to come back here!
This was the absolute best experience I've ever had at a dealership! I was in and out for an oil change, tire rotation, 40,000 mileage check up, and car wash in 40 minutes! Can you say, "Wow!" I had enough time to get coffee, sit and relax and catch up on a few emails, and then it was time to head out. LOVE that Steve got me in and out and that Scott Clark Toyota was so efficient and professional.
The car buying experience at Scott Clark Toyota is the best! I was so pleased with the responsiveness of my salesperson, Travis Wilson and members of his team. He understands that the purchase of a car is a personal one and something individuals take very seriously. At all points in the purchase process I was very impressed with members of the team. I could have purchased a car from 3 to 5 dealers closer to my home but I drove 2 hours away to purchase from Scott Clark Toyota because of the relationship created, service and better special offers. They will have my future business for sure!
The service was quick and the staff were very helpful. The facility is extremely nice and well maintained. They even provide complimentary manicures and $10 car rentals while you wait.
This was my first time using Scott Clark's service on my Lexus. All the service personnel were friendly and knowledgeable & they kept in touch with me during the service process to explain my cars issues. The techs did a superior job on my repairs! They returned to me a cleanly washed & great running car!!
UPDATE: Just bought a 2021 RAV4 from Scott Clark. Could not be happier with my choice. I worked with Kannon who did a great job working with me to get the car in the color I wanted with the options I wanted. He made the process real easy and worked around my schedule.
We purchased a 2021 4runner Trail edition about 3 weeks ago from Scott Clark. We worked with Mike who made the sale smooth and easy. We have had some issues that were outside of the car lots control. We are about 4.5 hours away from Scott Clark so we took it locally and they had 4 chances to fix the issue. After getting in contact with Mr.Cline (GM) he is doing his best to resolve our issue and their service manager is very friendly. We believe in the car lot and their staff. I would recommend Scott Clark because they seem to really care about their buyers. As our journey with Scott Clark continues I will try to update. However as a traveling military family we wish we could have the service Scott Clark offers everywhere we go. Thank you Scott Clark.
I'll try to share a factual unbiased review and take it for what it s worth. I joined my father for an oil change at Scott Clark and I was interested in test driving midsize trucks. The two that caught my interest were a pre-owned Toyota Tacoma and a Chevy Colorado on the lot. I worked with Paul Moore, the Internet Sales Manager, and he was very patient and let me test drive three vehicles. The Colorado has manager s special on it and Paul said the truck has been at the dealership for more than 30 days which is what makes it a special. He wasn't too pushy and he provided me the Carfax history on all three and I explained I needed time to review them and would contact them further. The next day, I reached out and inquired about my trade. I'm not in a position where I can spend extensive time haggling over a deal at a dealership unless I think it will result in a purchase since we have twin 3 year olds at home. Paul was nice and asked me to take photos of my car and provide the VIN which I did right away. This is where the review becomes sour. I stopped receiving timely responses from Paul or the dealership. When I followed up, Paul gave me a trade-in value much lower than KBB and lower than any of the other neighboring dealerships. I then provided two quotes from neighboring dealerships assessing the value $1,500 higher than the offer by Scott Clark. I waited again and didn't hear back so I followed up. He explained the other dealerships were a trade allowance which isn't necessarily the same as an offer (I don't get this)..And went on to say, they simply don't have enough room in the price of the truck I had interest in to offer me an over allowance of what they thought my car was worth. Fine, I asked what offer I can get for a cash/finance option and Paul provided it. He then suggested me to take up the offer from the competitor's dealership which provided me the quote or sell my car to Carmax. I took a few days to think it over. Later, I was contacted by Mike Rouse asking about my experience and what they can do to earn my business. I explained the primary reason for holding back was my low trade-in value. He asked me to send pictures of the car and the quotes again to his personal cell which I did. I didn t hear anything for 24 hours and Mike followed up with a text that he sent the pics onto his manager and is waiting to hear back because they are extremely busy. I said okay and waited another 24 hours. I follow-up again asking if there s an update and they still haven t heard back from the manager. I really don t think it should take this long for a response. Now I m becoming frustrated and explain that it doesn t seem like this dealership wants my business with a trade or no trade to buy this truck. The truck is still there and I m not receiving responses or any assistance. I'm starting to understand why people use companies like Carvana to purchase vehicles.
Went back to Scott Clark, even though I had a horrible experience before. Really liked a particular vehicle. SR5 Tundra with a 3 inch lift, 22inch rims and tires. This truck is available at Town and Country for $ 36,500 without the lift, tires and rims... without negotiating. Scott Clark is selling their lifted SR 5 for 59,000+. Do the math! Apparently a lift kit, tires and rims cost more than a Camry.
Thank you, thank you, thank you to Scott Clark Toyota for making my new 4Runner dreams a reality. Jimmy Cline and his team heard me out and made my first car purchase a breeze. I feel confident in the price I paid and know that they will ensure my car is good to go for years to come.
I was experiencing a shuddering vibration when driving my 2012 Camry. I thought at first it was by tires. I brought my car to Scott Clark Toyota and Steve Vadala greeted me in the most welcoming professional manner. He made me feel at ease and I had the best experience during my last service visit. I bought 2 cars there and have had service work done there, but I found that Steve Vadala has by far provided the best customer service to me. I will definitely be back. Thank you!!
Pleasure doing business. Was in and out - bought the car over my lunch break. No pressure and polite salesmen. Would definitely do business there again.
Crystal Terry is a gem. She has always made my signing up for maintenance no problem and makes relevant and timely suggestions when needed. She's "a keeper".
The team and Scott Clark's was great. I had just gotten home from my 9 month deployment to Afganistan. I cant tell you how much it means to know that everyone there was waiting on me to get home. My salesman DJ Durst was great he made my dream car come to life. I would like to thank all of those at Scott Clark's for everything. To DJ I will be bring you pictures of this weekends events at the Tail of the Dragon as soon as i get back.
Rented a car during a holiday to the Carolinas. Absolutely the worst rental experience of my life, and I have rented many many vehicles over the years, including from others in Charlotte (Hertz in Matthews were the best). These people fleeced me for hundreds of dollars on out of the country insurance despite having all relevant documents faxed to them (cost me a hundred dollars in cell calls back to Canada to arrange) and made me purchase their inflated insurance even though I obviously had coverage confirmed by my home insurers. But, as it was late in the day, they had me, as the other more legitimate local rental places I had spoken with were already closed. Then, upon returning the luxury vehicle, they tried to overcharge by another hundred, until I showed them their signed agreement that I had them initial when I rented the car. But, they then charged a clean-up fee because of some pistachio shells that were in the ashtray of the console. I paid them, only to end an otherwise terrible experience and get out of that place. I was appalled. This is not a real rental business, it is just an excuse for a rental unit so the dealership can rent back to itself at a profit if someone brings a car in for repair, etc.. Never ever rent from them. Beware!! Be warned.
Every time I come to Scott Clark's Toyota it is a great experience. The people are all so friendly and professional. The service department is top notch and I never feel like Im paying for things I dont need. Today I purchased a car and they took the best care of me and made me a priority. I love this place and this is where I will always take my cars.
Archie provided us with excellent customer service on Saturday. We coordinated a late day appointment with him and he was able to turn the car around quickly. I phoned several times with questions while coordinating with my son who was on-site and he was helpful and responsive.
While the sales agent I had was great, the sales experience was a headache. Rcvd a call weeks after getting the car that the loan did not go through originally. the new loan was going to have a higher interest rate making my payments jump almost $200/month more. After threatening to return the vehicle, the manager stepped in and fixed it. Now I'm dealing with service issues. Having to take way too much time off work for things that should have been correctly fixed to begin with. If your service people cannot return a vehicle to it's correct set up after repairs, then they should not be mechanics. Maybe Toyota needs to offer them better training. I will not bring my vehicle back to Scott Clark and now regret ever buying a Toyota period after all the issues I have had.
Went in for 6 month maintenance check, oil change and tire rotation. Watch out for upcharging and guys speeding around in back parking lot. I will avoid in future. Just not worth it especially when two other women were waiting for long periods and another was charged for tire rotation when she did not give consent. SC Toyota...no thanks
I recently had service performed by Scott Clark's Toyota Service Department on my 2014 Toyota Venza. Fred Caspary was our service technician and, as usual, he was courteous, professional, helpful and knowledgeable. He quoted us a price to repair a broken taillight on the car and replaced it at that price. He is the main reason that we continue to use Scott Clark's Service Department and we intend to bring the Venza back later this month for some work needed on the rear panel of the car. We have already been in touch with Fred and know that we will receive the usual excellent service from him and the service department.
Our experience was excellent. Jimmy Bass and Jordan Carlan are great! We intend to go there for all our Toyota vehicles. Sincerely, The Rushing Family.
When I decided I wanted to buy a new car I knew that I wanted to buy another Toyota. I researched all of the dealerships and found that Scott Clark Toyota had the most positive feedback. I also talk to the neighbor who owns only Toyotas and they have purchased all of them at Scott Clark. When we visited the dealership we were lucky enough to have Michael Miller take care of us. I ended up purchasing a 2020 highlander sight unseen. I test drove the 2019 Highlander and decided that was the vehicle for me. Michael was wonderful throughout the entire transaction. He answered all of our questions and once the car was ordered he continued to answer questions when we contacted him. He is now our go to person when we want to purchase a car. My husband became interested in purchasing a used Tacoma and we went to Michael and found the perfect truck. Any of the issues we found, Michael assured us they would be taken care of it. And they did. They fixed every single issue. If I could give ten stars I would. Every experience at this dealership was great-even the finance department. The whole deal was pretty much a hassle free.
Very pleased with the team! They are definitely there to make lifelong customers, not just a quick sale. I highly recommend going there before any other place.
Shane Crow helped me out with my service. He handled things very professionally and was attentive to me in the waiting area, giving me updates as he went by to service other customers. This was nice and I certainly appreciated it. He helped me at the Customer Service desk with some coupons I had and even combined a couple for me. Thanks, Shane and Scott Clark's Toyota. Christopher C. Smith
This is the first time I had my vehicle serviced at this location. Scott Clark Toyota offered a coupon for an oil change. The other dealership would not provide the service for the same price. Scott Clark s was professional and cost effective.
We bought a 2006 Ford Explorer from Scott Clark Toyota, 8 days, 200 miles later , we Took it to get a towing package on it, at a garage, and was told they couldn't get it to Back itself up the ramp. They said it was the transmission. Took it right over to Scott Clark Toyota, they said it was the transmission , also and that basically it was our baby ! This is the second car we have bought form them. We returned to buy this one because we felt confident that they, ( as we were told by our sales person) CHECK out their vehicles, thoroughly, something like a 100 and some point check ! I feel this was a hidden problem, and you would have to drive the car backwards , or in our case back it up a hill before it presented itself ! . It drives good forward ! I guess losing a loyal and returning customer over this is ok.
Mr. Cline, GM, and Mr. Baker, exchange specialist, both at Scott Clark Toyota were extremely helpful in meeting our needs for our recent car purchasing experience. They worked quickly to meet our needs by listening carefully to our specific requirements. We appreciate their effective use of our time and the quick, productive way they handled our business.
We also highly recommend Archie Newton who we always contact to schedule our car maintenance through the Scott Clark Service Department. He is always pleasant and knowledgeable. We treats us as he would his own family members, so we appreciate his service advice in keeping our Toyota vehicles running well and safe for travel.
2015 4Runner Purchased new from Scott Clark last May. All service performed quickly and problems addressed equally as fast. Alex in service was great with setting up the repair and loaner vehicle.
My rating after my initial visit would have been much higher, because they were quick, efficient, got me out the door in the car....but then... ...it took over 2 weeks for them to get the package to the finance company, so I was on pins and needles driving a car that wasn't even funded or even close to it. It took 2.5 weeks for them to actually take the down payment from my bank account. ...I had taken care of my obligations within the first 72 hours of having the car- paid taxes, filed appropriate paperwork with DMV, etc. ...I get a phone call at the end of week 2 asking me to come in and re-sign finance paperwork. Turns out the finance company actually did me a solid and made them lower the cost of the car because I was so grossly overcharged. Thanks for looking out for the single mom, Scott Clark. Good thing the financing company caught it before you totally fleeced me. ...on day 6 of week 4 (I'm on a 30 day tag, remember...) I get a letter saying they need more pieces of identification from me at the dealership to be able to tag/title the car. After FOUR WEEKS. ...I take the pieces of information they need to the dealership the next day after receiving the letter (no one called, emailed, or tried to contact me about this in any other way) and since this was the day my paper tag expired, I asked if I could receive another paper tag...and this is what I was told: "NO, MY ADVICE IS TO NOT GET IN FRONT OF A COP. IF YOU DO, WE'LL PAY THE EXPIRED TAG TICKET."
WHAT?! Are you kidding me? I'm a single mom who has busted her butt making ends meet, doing everything by the book, and now you're telling me to drive on expired tags and just "HOPE" I don't get pulled over? What kind of customer service is that?!?!
I am two years out of a divorce and was literally scared to go into a car dealership alone (without a man) because I was scared of being taken advantage of. Scott Clark has totally CONFIRMED my fears in that department. Good job.*
I really wasn't looking to purchase a new car. Came in for an oil change. The sales associates have asked me if I was interested in the exchange program you have several times this time I decided to look into it.
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with DJ Durst. He showed us around for several vehicles, when we found the one we liked he did everything we asked in keeping everything how we wanted it.
DJ was very professional and has checked on us after the sale to make sure all was good. Very fast in getting the extras to us later after purchase and no hassle to us.
This the second car we have purchase from Scott Clark and look forward to working with them in the future.
Since they have the new show room customer care has gone down hill. Appointment are scheduled incorrectly, the wait time for service is two hours with appointment..... It's a shame.
My car was serviced by Archie Newton for an oil change and tire rotation. He was very friendly and professional, and I was really happy with how quick the car was serviced.
Service on my truck was fine. But the attitude of most of the employees there was terrible. Everyone seemed to hate their job and just didn't care about their customers paying good money.
I also tried 3 separate times to reach out to a manager privately about this issue but no one will return an email or phone call. It is hard to find good help these days it seems.
