Park was on. We had fun for the most part. Feetnhurt from the terrible ground, would definitely wear shoes next time. Speaking of shoes, maybe if we had worn our shoes, maybe a lifeguard would have stolen my sons $50 american flag crocs, along with mybdaughtwrs nike sliders amd my sons shirt. We spent our morning hopping from guest service to guest service across both parks. The only person that seemed to care at all was kristen, whom we met at guest services in the new park. Everyone else was worthless. I hope they catch the snake who took them.

The park is great. Why the low score? The staff. Of all the people they have working there I can count on 1 hand the ones that made us feel welcomed. Almost ALL the staff working there from the lifeguards (they re the worse)the ride operators, to the food people. They keep a frown on their face that screams Don t bother me . If you ignore that frown and try asking them a question they will ignore you or mumble an answer that doesn t make any sense. Too those FEW who did make us feel welcomed, thank you

As always, the park atmosphere is above and beyond that of other parks, especially the old part with its trees and carpeted trails. Staff was very-friendly and approachable except for a language barrier with a couple of international employees (nice, but unable to help me with directions; they tried). We felt safe and supervised by the life guards. The price for entry is a little higher than other parks, but you have so much more than other places, don't pay to park, and can bring in picnic and cooler. We will return as we always have. PRO TIP: Purchase your tickets on-line and save $10 per ticket.

This is the best place to go if you live in San Antonio or any surrounding area. The kids love it and so will you. It's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. Pack a lunch and make a day of it!!!

The layout of the park is just strange I feel they could have done a better job when adding on to make it work better. They need more signage to tell people how to get to the rides. We rented the tree Haus cabana and it was worth every single penny! Our waitress was very attentive and super sweet. We got the fast pass things and it worked okay. But depending on who the scanning people are depends on if they are going to make you wait till your check mark shows (meaning you waited the time it says to wait which is half of the normal wait time) or if they will let you go ahead and get in the fast pass line. That kind of inconsistency is very aggravating when you have waited your allotted time but the people in front of you haven't and still have 30 minutes on their fast pass before they get the check.

Horrible amd rude customer sercive. We bought a 2 day pass and the staff didn't notice until about 6pm that i had the wrong wristband on. The only reason they noticed was because i was lost and asked to borrow a phone to call a family member. I ended up in the resort section and borrowed an employee's phone. He directs me to where i originally lost my family and then decides to radio in security that I had the wrong wristband on. I had my receipt for a 2 day pass and because they didn't do their job they want to humiliate me. Why tell me to walk inside the park again only to have a security guard stop me when i was already done for the day. Then to top it off they were laughing at me. I hope you all do something about this because this is very rude and disrespectful. You all should do.your job in properlu monitoring these bracelets closely. I guess i have a 4 Free passes since i just found out my tickets were never reedeemed. However, i rather never come to this park again even it is os FREE.

Wow, I still love this place. I hadn't been in 15 years. I grew up coming here and not too much has changed. I think the original park is my favorite but the new park is cool too. My fave is the double loop, soda straws and the black knight. The lazy rivers are great. The new "the falls" is a great through back ride. I can't wait to go back!

This place has really held up over the years. The first time I visited in 1992, I thought it was awesome. The West side of the park is the original park that has soda straw slides and other, more adventurous rides using inner tubes. A small splash area was originally for the little kids. The wait for a lot of rides is like any other amusement park, however, often taking at least 30 minutes to ride (even longer after 12pm). Several years later they expanded the East side with a couple more things that don't take any wait, you just go into the water. The Torrent River, The Falls, and the Kristal River. I started taking my kid there when he was 4 years old, and those rides combined with all the stuff for little ones on both sides of the park these days make for an awesome time.
Here's a tip, pack your own picnic and stake out a table early (there's a lot of them). While the food has improved a little since the 90's it's still not that great, and it's expensive. Save your bucks to eat out somewhere else after a long day in the water. Just remember, no alcohol and no glass containers of any sort.
Also note, the East side is chlorinated water while the West is not since it uses river water. There are life jacket stations at several spots, no charge, but you can bring your own as well. Typically there are plenty of jackets for kids of all ages. For adults, you're likely better off bringing your own if needed.

We had a fantastic time. The park was clean and not too spread out. Tons of rides. Free Parking. The allow coolers and picnic lunches. Lots of shaded spots. Thrill rides, lazy rivers, and everything in between. We left our junk on a table, went to play and came back to find ALL our stuff right where we left it. No one bothered anything. Even the food that is sold in the park is priced so that a family can eat there. Worth every penny and we would go again.

Nice

A young male was brought out from the water unconscious and purple. Around 6 lifeguards were standing around the body doing nothing. Ten minutes later another lifeguard put an oxygen mask on the young male.Nothing else was done, not even CPR. Thank goodness an ambulance came. The young male was taken to the hospital.TRAIN YOUR LIFEGUARDS!!!! The people that enter into the park are putting their lifes in these lifeguards hands!

Pretty good I love the smell of a waterpark so nostalgic. But I wish they would do a better job with pest control as in bees ,wasps all that stuff that can make your family vacation a total mess. Also on the bright side I love that you can bring in your own food a lot of water parks and amusement parks don t allow that.

We had so much fun! We will try to make it a 3 day visit next time. One day isn't nearly enough to see and ride everything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rides looked well maintained and clean. The food was good. You just need more than one day to really enjoy.

Love this water park! They allow you to bring in your own food and drinks, which helps keep the cost down! You don t have to pay for anything extra when you get there! The rides are fun, the lines are not usually extremely long!

The waterpark was most likely the best waterpark ive ever been to, plenty of thrilling rides, and of course a couple lazy rivers to relax. The location was also incredible. There was no sound of a busy city, just quiet and calm, making it easy to forget where you are. The service was also amazing, as the employees were always helpful, friendly, and willing to help oit even with the simplest of problems.

The service and the room quality is terrible in the resort area. We just forgot a box in the refrigerator and went back to take it out but they charged me a late fee of $50. Unbelievable! They didn t tell me they will charge me before. They are all liars and just don t want to do anything to their customers.

"Whitewater" in the original part is a great ride. "The Falls" in the new side were my favorites. The crew does a great job keeping thing clean. I was particularly impressed with the safety drills being conducted.
