Both parks are fantastic, just be prepared for long lines.

It was a fun experience for our first time going. We went towards the end of summer so we enjoyed a shorter line. Altho most of the water rides are kid friendly prepare to let your child go down on their own on all rides. The people working there were very friendly and helpful. Next time we will probably stay at their resort there since we have to drive from out of town to get there and it's too tiring to try and drive back after being in the sun all day.

We had a lot of fun but beware on some of the rafting rides. My son got a few scratches and scrapes but all in all we had fun.

Service is excellent, they are attentive and bring dishes super fast. The oyster selection is extense, reasonably priced and tastes fresh. The kids menu is stellar, tasty and Texas sized portions, the Mac&cheese is a home run. However the main dishes are very dissapointing. The shrimp and crawfish ettoufe w/jambalaya is flat, no seasoning, no cajun, really no flavor at all. The scallop and shrimp dish, the scallops we're good, I wish they ease on the veggies and put more than 3 of each of the proteins, they have an extra that has more shrimps for ~$8.

Finally got a "mom and dad" day out. Drove from FTW to come here. Spent the whole day fighting a 3 hour line only to have the rides conveyer belt break. Still stayed for 30 mins waiting for the ride to get fixed and ditched it once they started handing out water. We then stood in line for the black slide for an hour, finally got our tube up to the top and they shut it down thinking someone got stuck in the tube. Waited another 30 mins for them to figure out nobody was stuck in the tube. In the midst of that the rider in front of us and our tube was stolen when we werent paying attention... (the line to get the tube was at the bottom of the stairs). Had to confront 2 punk kids to get our tube back. The big guy ahead of us realied on the teen life guard operating the ride, didnt get nothing and then asked us if the guy ahead of us could have our tube. Being the nice ppl we are, gave him our tube and my husband had to go down and get another tube! Such a disappointment! Basically if you dont have a blast pass you will spend your money on standing in stupid lines all day.

Not my favorite one. More things to do in Galveston and the other schlitterbaun. I didn't know there was 2 different ones in New braunfels. I went to the Union street location but there was another. This location is 2 in 1.

We love schlutterbaun but the cops patrol and pull EVERYONE OVER. My family got pulled over twice by different police officers while visiting the park for not pausing long enough at stop sign. And they seemed to be harrassing familys who were just ready to go swim. we will just NEVER go back.

I have never stayed at the resort but I LOVE the waterpark!

Our entire family had lots of fun at Schlitterbahn. It was great that the ticket price included tubes and parking was free. It's best to get there early to get a bench to put your things. There was so much to do we were only able to see about 1/4th of the park before our little one got worn out. It's also really nice they let you bring your food in

It's hard to even begin with how fun this water park is. I'm a massive fan of the old park the water feels nice it's covered with trees and feels cooler. It is generally a very lazy laid-back attitude which is very enjoyable on a hot day. The new part personally is fun for the Black Knight The Lazy River and the tidal pool.

You have to wait more than an hour to get to each ride. It felt like I paid to stand in line. But good for kids.

This is probably the best water park I've taken my family to in the entire state of Texas. You can buy tickets in advance and the parking is free. There are at least 2 water parks here with a free shuttle back and forth.

Go on light days or days when there has been a little rain. Fewer crowds!

We had a blast! The water slides, the people, and the water races between us were great. $150.00 season pass is very much worth the money. The food is a little bit pricey and the lines for each ride can be long. It is expensive for only doing a day pass but the season pass is worth it. Great address for toddlers and they can go on a lot of the tube rides as well. We did not make it through the entire park in one day. The water is ice cold. To be honest I was having to get out of the water off and on to warm up in the sun. I hope you have fun.

Soooooooooo much fun. Even if the cabana reservation experience was not so fun!

Great family fun and you can bring in your own food

Well it was ok the only thing was getting on a bus to go to the other half of the park because its in between a neighborhood

Big Water Park. I didn't like that you had to shuttle between the parks

I always have a fun time! Went for the first time when I was a kid with my family. Went back as an adult to see if it was just as fun as I remembered and it is! I've been back with friends 3 times now.
Also, we bought some shoes from a gift shop. Wore them for 2 hours in the park and then they broke. Management went out of their way to look up our purchase since we lost the receipt and replaced them for us at no extra charge.

By far the finest with Comal River water you cannot get better.

Kids had a blast. Tons of stuff for small children to do.

It was awesome and super fun! We were out here for about 5 hours and rode all the rides.

Previously would have given 5 stars but since covid-19 ruined all things for everybody, knocked this place down to 2 stars. This is how it went for our family. Take from it what you will.
Purchased tickets online and reserved time to enter park. Arrived and were required to have our temps taken inside a white tent, 2 at a time.
Went through security checks and then got our tickets scanned and were given wristbands. Very simple and quick procedure. The reason for the 2 star rating is because you are required to wear a mask unless you are on a ride or in the water, only a handful of rides are operating, and the old part of the park that the tram takes you to and from is entirely shut down. So you pay the same high price for a fraction of the rides and the shortened operating hours. Ugh. Not worth it.

Went here with the family -Wife, 7yr old daughter, and 4-month old son. Got here right as they opened, and the lines were very short. Took a stroller in and quickly found out this place is NOT stroller friendly. We were only here for a few hours, so we stayed on the West park. Nothing super spectacular about the rides. However, I absolutely love their 'swim-up bars!' They're in heated pools, and the drinks are pretty good. Service was great throughout the park. I just wish they had more ramps for strollers.

Fun water park to bring your family. Weekend is packed so try during the week.

We spend our family vacation here every year. This year was the 17th straight year coming here. We will be back next year.

They have water. They make it move so you are always less concience about the pee content.

I d rate a zero if I could they said online everything was open then I went to ask an employee and they acted like I wasn t there horrible customer service horrible experience

My friends and I went to schlitterbahn a few days ago and we had a really great time, the service and rides were awesome! I totally recommend going to schlitterbahn with your friends or family.

Fun, clean, and relaxing! We went there in August and the water temperature was perfect.

Fun family environment some of the staff was helpful food and beverage that was available is pretty decent very difficult to find parking there were no signs or information when you approach the front entrance which is a little confusing if you already have tickets but regardless you go to the ticket booth I found out and no map of the park was given at the ticket booth which would have been convenient instead you have to search for one. The lines actually weren't too bad but can get a little lengthy staff did good to keep it moving some of the rides and attractions were a little grimy but they were still fun and enjoyable. The temperature of the water was good for the day . there was a lack of signs guiding you to certain areas or entrances of rides.some rides had an overabundance amount of tubes available while other rides had no tubes available. The convenient ride to the other part of the Park was easy to find and had a good amount of buses running to where you really didn't have to wait long overall it's a good fun family place to go on a hot day

Water park with many rides guided by young lifeguards that at times it may seem to get a little out of control when too busy. Most of the rides take place while you ride on inner tubes or you either go down a water slide with or without ones. It is an extremely large park which you can easily walk along or ride the shuttle buses from one park to the second park. Feel free to take your own ice chest with drinks and take your offer good. Beverages and additional food are sold at the park. If you are lucky, you can rent a Cabana, or a cottage and enjoy your stay while you watch everyone ride. Weekends are extremely crowded and at times it seems unsafe in the water. Lazy River and wave pool are the favorites with the little ones. There is a play area for the little ones and a bar where the hot tubs are. It's a fun place for the family but don't forget the sunscreen!

Go if you've never been but be sure and get the Splash Pass!

Fun for all! The only complaint I had was everytime you would get a table and leave your stuff there someone would cone along and take it over. We set our stuff down to go get food and by the time we were back they had thrown our stuff all around and took the table. We had to search for my sons shoes. This happened twice so we just gave up on the table thing.

It's a must, for everyone to try this water park in their life..... It's huge, two water parks the same size for the price of one.... Any tips . Bring food and come early, enjoy!

We loved this place...My son had an accident and needed to go to ER for stitches. They bandaged him up and even gave us a ride to and from there. Also my 5 year old daughter loved that she could ride every ride with us unlike most parks. She felt grown and had a blast!!! Even with the accident everyone had a wonderful time.

WOULD GIVE 0 STARS PRICE GOUGE LIKE NO OTHER SPEND 60 BUCKS PER ONLY TO PAY 12 PLUS FOR A LOCKER!!! STAFF IN FOOD STATIONS ARE LAUGHABLE! OVERCOOKED FUNNEL CAKES, 30 MINUTE PIZZA WAIT AND ON TOP OF THAT PURCHASED TWO PAIRS OF FLIP FLOPS BOTH BROKE WITHIN 1 HOUR NOT EVEN WALKING VERY PATHETIC AND EMBARRASSING CLOSE YOUR DOORS IF YOUR OUT TO SCREW YOUR CUSTOMERS AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!!

But it was overcrowded. They should really limit the number of visitor to enter the park.

Nice and quiet here, at least sat night in the wintertime . Good place to set by the river and relax.

I was not excited about going since I do not have small children. Ended up having a great time in the Lagoon. There was a live band and a bar in the pool. The water in the Lagoon was ice cold, which is great for Texas weather.

Great waterpark with great rides. The food is not the best. The cookie blaster at blastenhof was terrible.

I wouldn't waste your time going on a weekend unless you want to spend more than 2 hrs standing in line for a single ride. Also, the food areas for eating are filthy and swarming with flies. Dont leave anything visible in your car including back packs cause it will get broken into. Watch for poison Ivy on the ride that dumps you into the comal river. Also, look out for pink eye. Other than that, theres lots of fun to be had all day!

the resort at schlitterbahn was way beyond what i expected we will make sure to make this a yearly thing with the family it felt like vip accommodations and the room was awesome i could not have been more pleased my daughters had the time of their life thank yall so much we should have stayed there sooner #bahnlove

Always a blast at Schlitterbahn, our favorite is to ride the not so lazy, lazy river with rapids, waterfalls and more!

Great people, life guards are fun, and the rides are great. An anamzing place for a summer vacation for family and friends of most ages.

Over half the park was closed when we went which was not stated on the website! At the entrance we were told only 1 of 3 parks were shut down however as we went inside, we realized it was over 50% shut down. Drove 2.5 hours for a big disappoinment. I took a vacation day and had a horrible time. We asked for a refund after realizing how much of the park was closed. they offered half price tickets for the following day. When we refused and just wanted our money back, they said not possible. I Don't recommend going to any place with bad customer service. We spent less than1 hour in the water and left. This was supposed to be the worlds best water park- definitely not!

Theres a reason its been voted #1 in the world for a while now. They've got water thrills and hospitality down to a science. Always a great time. And the 2 bedroom Lofts were great. Full nice kitchen. 2 great bathrooms. Will stay again.

Have come here 10 years in a row. Brought a family this year who've never been. We raved about how several rides dump into the Comal River. No ride dumped into Comal this whole weekend, as they "didn't have enough life guards" -- it's freaking summer, how do you not have enough life guards scheduled? Body slide into Dragons Lair pool was closed ("not enough life guards"). We usually ride the Falls several times around- they kicked us out after the first cycle and you could only enter at one lagoon where they formed a line (they usually let you enter at any lagoon). It also rained non-stop this weekend, which they couldn't help, but added with the listed inconveniences above, it was disappointing for our new guests...
