We have stayed at stratosphere for couple nights and it was a great experience. Staff is friendly and we got a chance to play at casino all night. They do offer exciting offers for staying guest such as free valet parking, discounts on food etc. Their brunch buffet is nice but we were little disappointed by room they have allocated to us. They have offered a upgrade with $10 per night of cost i.e room at 21st floor with a view but we were not much pleased with the view and also the room did not have basic amenities such as coffee maker, fridge which generally part of room and last the bathroom is kinda rustic. You need to pay to watch anything on tv.
Apart from room we had fun staying at stratosphere but if you want to roam around strip in that case stratosphere is not your choice as it will take around 8-12 mins of drive to reach strip.

Ok hotel but i like the view

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:
The property's signature attraction is the 1,149 ft (350.2 m) Stratosphere Tower, the tallest freestanding observation tower in the United States,[4] and the second-tallest in the Western Hemisphere, surpassed only by the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario. It is the tallest tower west of the Mississippi River[5] and also the tallest structure in Las Vegas and in the State of Nevada.[6] The hotel is a separate building with 24 stories, 2,427 rooms and an 80,000 sq ft (7,400 m2) casino. The Stratosphere is owned and operated by Golden Entertainment, which acquired the resort and three other properties from American Casino & Entertainment Properties for $850 million

Wasn't as nice (updated) as I thought it would be! I had to call the front desk for the light in my bathroom and not having any was clothes and that was just day one. Not to mention I had to wait until the next day to receive assistance after having to make too many phone calls. But over all I enjoyed myself.

Simply wonderful I'm enjoying my accommodations. I hey I'm staying for one week here and there's a lot to do with it I look forward to going up to the top eat dinner check out the whole city of Las Vegas later on tomorrow. But I have discovered three other restaurants in here and they have a movie theater also not to mention bungee jumping from the top of the roof. That will be a little extreme for me but I'm still enjoying my stay.

It was simply a great experience and the hotel has just about everything, several restaurants, the rides at the top of the building, and of course a casino! MJ live was incredible as well! I am giving it 4 stars only because some of the people working at the blackjack tables were rude and it was quite unnecessary! One of the ladies that goes by Selena was a breath of fresh air and we are happy she taught us how to play without the attitude! Security was also great after my boyfriends wallet was stolen. They found it quickly and were very professional!

The casino and hotel is a get what you pay for venue. We only went because of the rides at the top of the building. I didn't want to ride but my partner did and they wanted to charge me $20 just to go up and stand. Hard pass. But if you want to do the rides I hear is a lot of fun. But expect to pay even if you want to watch

Nice hotel- clean room and nice bathroom. Parking is free and Easy, which was deciding factor for choosing location to stay along strip. My family is not scared of a walk, but it s about 5-7mi (walking)if you decide to go to opposite end. This hotel in my opinion provides a great place to stay when on Vegas Strip. Not as busy, free and easy parking, quick access to food and shops and main events- and rate is better bang-4-buck! There is an additional fee to take ride/lift up to the top(per person), and we could not add the fee and make it feel worth it, but for those who are adventurous- nothing looks quite like this experience.

A little sketchy, with the guests. Didnt feel we were 100% safe or our items were completely safe left in rooms. Charge to go up tower, even for guests. Lots of shops, and things to do and see. Adult only pool. Mostly quite in hotel room areas.

Not the best hotel but you do get what you pay for I suppose. Cheap but don't expect much. Outdated, semi- clean, reeks of smoke. I prefer several other hotels over this one. The tower was pretty awesome though!

not enough to do other than gamble, room upgrade was not really an upgrade, check in line long for midnight, no help from management. easy checkout, should give 1st bottle of water complimentary due to exuberant resort fees.

I was hoping that my stay would improve after the first 24 hours were so horrible. I was really wrong. As paying guest of this hotel we were charged for things like plastic silverware and mayo which I can understand the mayo but when we went to order from room service we were told it was closed. The Customer Service here is terrible and we are not rich enough for them to be bothered with us. I never got a call or message when my package was delivered. I learned a valuable lesson here and will not repeat this mistake. Good luck!

The service in the diner was rude. Lack of communication with front desk when I had an issue. Shower flooded in my suite. They refused to give my husband a key to the room when he got locked out because they added his name to the wrong part of notes.

DON T STAY IN THIS HOTEL!!! Very bad service, they pretty much forced you to upgrade when the room is basically the same. No wifi, Tv was no working. They sent me to another room WOW!!! And guess what ??the room was dirty so they had to change me to a 3rd room that I was finally ok with them but they shouldn t charge me for the upgrade.

Well i thought this was going to be an amazing experience but it turned into a chaotic mess. There is no direction for what you are supposed to do or where to go. They just send you up and expect you to figure it out. I finally got to the big shot after I had to go all the way back down to get a reprinted ticket. But I was this close yo asking for my money back but went up instead. And it was amazing. But I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We upgraded to the newer rooms and they were nice. Loud neighbors and thin walls. Some of the employees were very nice and some were borderline rude. Very cold and almost grouchy. (At the rewards desk/ players card and the place next to them) This was the third hotel we stayed at during our week long vacation. Not sure if we would return. We did get the room for a cheap rate and may return if we were looking for a deal. Other than that it would not be on the top of my list. Let me be fair it is definitely not a bad hotel. Just ok in my opinion.

This hotel is REALLY FAR from the strip! Spent alot of my vacation money on ubers/lyft. I didnt like that I came to check in before 3pm and the hotel staff tried to get me to upgrade to a new room in order to check in early. Since we didnt want to do that we were given an old room. The old room literally had the bare necessities (tv and bed).I will not stay here again mainly due to distance.

Went to the Celestia show. Excellent show with so much going on would like to see again. Did have some issues with a family whom could not seem to find their seats. They were distracting from the start of show. Ushers did help but Mom and pop could have handled better.

So it's a really nice hotel. The casino is very nice and all the things you'd want from a casino are there. The Deal or No Deal game is a lot of fun. The diner on the main floor is good and decently priced. The buffet is the same. The tower is really cool and and drinks weren't awfully priced for Vegas. My only complaint is the location. It is between the strip and Fremont Street AND it is in a really sketchy area in my opinion. But like I said, it's a really nice hotel!

Awesome view from the level 108. Nice ambiance. Hotel is right on the strip. It has sky jump and other thrill rides on the top level. There is a bar on the Level 108. One of the best hotels in Las Vegas.

We had fun in the casino, got free drinks while we played. Had tons of fun and will be staying here agsin , hopefully the pool bar will be open

First, off I was charged additional fees when I arrived that my online booking said were covered. They said that it is never included eventually gave me slight discount on additional fees. Then I went up to my room and it was filthy. There was debris all over the floor and the desk and lamps were dusty. Room has old tv stand that has no purpose and tv is sitting on table. Called the front desk to talk about room and was informed this tower of rooms were inferior to other towers. They were not willing to accommodate moving use. Continually made excuses of why they couldn't help. Also the sink doesn't drain properly.

First time staying in Vegas and picked this hotel because it's close to the convention centre. I had to queue for 45 minutes to check in.

Then when checking in, was told I was getting a complimentary upgrade for the wait.

I was upgraded to a room with mold and peeling wallpaper in the bathroom.

Asked to be downgraded to my original room if the room would be better and was actually told that this room was better.

Ended up having to pay to get a new room. Not sure I'm entirely happy with having to pay extra to get a room without mold.

Still, it's a room I'm not going to spend much time in and the hotel had everything I need, it's even for a McDonald's in it.

WiFi is poor though. Be aware of this.

First, we waited 45 minutes to check in because they had two people working and none of the kiosks were working. Then TV didn t work, the beds are uncomfortable, we didn t have a do not disturb sign, half the plugs didn t work, no fridge or microwave, and the construction on the floor above us is incredibly loud. 3 AM is too early to start making so much noise. Also the Starbucks is way more expensive than anywhere else. My normally $5 drink was $12! The only good thing was the food at the cafe. We will not be staying here again. Parking is also very far away from the rooms. To summarize, there is a reason it s a cheap hotel.

Good hotel for the price. This is the "other side if the strip" if you don't have a rental car expect long walks to the big draw hotels if the strip. The property is nice and has the amenities you need. The "theme park" on the top is good for those who don't gamble

Hotel room is covered with dust from the floor to the fan in the bathroom. I complaint to the concierge that my bathroom fan is noisy and covered with dust and they said they would send someone to fix it but never did. The wifi is super slow and laggy and I cant connect most of the time. Do not stay at this hotel, i have never been to a hotel in vegas that is this bad for the price that I paid. The maid that cleaned the room only change the linens and replaced the towels that is about it. I stayed here for 4 nights and cant wait just to leave. I dont usually leave a review but this one is really really bad!!!

I'm only giving 3 stars because I got a 4 day 3 night package for 169 just had to pay taxes and resort fees which came out to almost 200 then the room they put us in the was looking like a tatered motel 6 staring at a brick wall then had to pay an extra 100 to be upgraded. The cafe took forever and the manager definitely worked over 16 hours there. On top of that I had to go to class or a tour they call it where they try and sell you. 10,000 dollar vacation package. It was straight telemarketing in person.

Room was clean, parking was good, check in process took a long time. Many articles of my wife's clothing were missing and unfortunately this was not discovered until we returned home. They were not accidentally left behind as we are sure to thoroughly check all drawers, under beds, etc upon departure. This only means one thing to me, you do the math. Next time we go to Vegas, we will stay somewhere else.

Dirty rooms, took over a hour to check in. Staff just watching people skip the line and just hang around for next person to check them in. Hotel smelled of pot everywhere. Staff was very unhelpful. Pic is out bathroom sink when we walked in our room. We still had fun but hotel was by far worst part of our trip.

This was the first time that i have had such an incredibly bad experience here at the Strat. No one was knowledgeable about anything asked of them from front desk to Housekeeping. The room was insanely bad. The dust built up behind the dressers and tables was ridiculous. The half bathroom and no room to maneuver was outrageous. No ethernet port, complimentary $5.00 a bottle of water was insulting. I've stayed at budget hotels that have a more upscale feel than this. I also paid for the upgrade room and this is what I get.
