My teenagers loved the wave river and spent one of our days here. The two parks are huge and I love that they let us bring in a cooler with snacks.

I booked online for a family of 6. First time visiting the park and didn't know what to expect. Check in was super fast and easy. Got plenty of good info from the front desk. Pulled up to our cabin and walla!! It was amazing!! The cabin was More
Great waterpark. It is prices. At around $80 A person. Great for doing once a year. If you live in the area a season pass is way cheaper if you go more than once a year. They have Villas that you can stay up that games you early access to the park. The park itself is usually kept as clean. The water is always cold as it is River fed. Great for tourists and local young and old.
Clean facilities. Food was a bit pricey for a family of 8, but we had fun.
I drove from Corpus Christi to New Braunfels. There IS a Schlitterbahn in the Corpus Christi area (Padre Island). I haven't tried it out yet. However, looking at the layout, it didn't seem nearly as big. I've enjoyed Schlitterbahn, off and on, for over 30 years and everyone we go I have a blast!
Wonderful spot for the family to visit. Lots of fun for all. Well run.
Great, fun swimming place for.the family. Plenty to do. Lines can be long for the rides but has other pool places to enjoy. Has heated pools with bar. Friendly staff. Can't wait to go again.
Very family oriented! Wonderful place to visit. Seasonal passes #1 best value
The lines are a mile long. You pay $60 to ride 4 rides standing in the scolding hot sun all day long.
Fun water park. The fact that you can pack a cooler Is awesome. It really helps on a budget. Tip:bring water shoes.
Great family fun. A place you can bring your cooler in is amazing! Parents on a budget like myself appreciate this.
I've visited this park at least 6 times in a 3 year span. I keep finding rides that I didn't experience the visit before. I have one more trip this season coming soon and I hope I do get to ride all the rides before i move on to something else next year. I've visited the Schlitterbahn park in Galveston which is closer to me but I still prefer visiting the New Braunfels park.
It was awesome I had the best time 3 of my best ones. I would recommend to all go enjoy it.
Cool park and friendly enough people just be prepared for long lines.
Great water park. Been coming for years. Staff is always friendly. Plenty of life guards. Food could be better but they let you bring your own in which is amazing. The park is always clean. A lot to do. And a safe environment. 5 stars.
Had lots of fun! Purchased tickets online saved a few bucks. Be sure to choose the correct location on the web site. Getting your money back can take 7 to 8 business days. Trust me not fun. Parking I have to say was the hardest part of my day. Get there early or expect to drive around for a while. Hardly any shade so heavy on the sunscreen! Take an ice chest if you like of course no glass no alcohol. Definitely going back soon!
This is an awesome water park and is rated as one of the best in the United States.
Awesome place to go as a family or just as a couple. Very cool atmosphere unlike anywhere else and its insanely large. It is so big you have to ride buses in between the two parks.
My 2 kids and I had the best time here. We were in Austin to see some family and went down there for a day. Everyone is soooooooo friendly. The park is very clean. A bit expensive but so worth it. I highly recommend this water park. In fact, if you need a spokesperson from New York, Im your man. LOVE LOVE LOVE your park.
So much fun no matter how long the wait. So worth it
We were nervous about the mass of humanity we saw at the gate, the many buses, and ppl already inside the park. We were last here 15 years ago and just remembered loving it and knowing we wanted season passes when we moved to the area. (It's a huge reason why we chose to move to the San Antonio area when we could have gone any where in Tx). We were at the west park, Tubenbach. We did wait in Line 45-60 minutes on the Hillside ride Memorial Wknd, but the others were about half that time and all equally as fun. Some of the directional signage where to find the start of rides and where to go to get back to the park after you depart Raging River (and end up inside the resort) were very lacking, but we still had a blast there.
The lines are ridiculously long for how mediocre the ride is.
The hotel accommodations were horrifying. The room had a window unit, motel style, connected to a pizza joint by an interior door, roaches, openings under the doors where you could see light, a broken headboard, no bedskirt, and no where to put your luggage. Stay somewhere else. It s worth the savings and soooo much nicer elsewhere. The waterpark was nice and fun. Early am and late afternoons were best to avoid heavy lines, but overall very fun. Hotel was the worst I ve ever been in.
Haven't been there in 20 years and it is still a great place to have water fun with my grandchild
Always a great time. Lots of great rides, the older side has a lot of long tube rides that are a lot of fun. The new side has a lot more attractions, but is also a little more crowded. A tram runs all day to transport between the two locations. Staff is also very well trained, helpful and very professional.
We couldn't find our way around... there are not enough signs to tell you where to go..we wasted over 30 min. going back and forth. I like the one in Galveston way better! Wish we had gone there this time instead.
I like Schlitterbahn New Braunfels. It's a decent waterpark. I only gave 4 stars because they have two separate water parks. One is older and the other newer. The newer waterpark is very cool. But I think it's time for them to start investing to make improvements to the older waterpark.
Very fun waterpark! I will definitely keep coming back. However I do feel that the rides (including lazy rivers) should have an age or height limit restriction in order to ride with or without a parent/guardian. I have seen several people take BABIES (months old) on rides. That is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS!!!!!! It does not take much for a tube to flip over and that could cause serious injury to a baby or can even be fatal all because of an irresponsible decision to take a baby on a ride.
Awesome experience. I would go back again. Riding the river komal what's great.
The waterpark is quite nice. The lines are long (40 minutes for one ride). I went on a weekday in May. I can't imagine how long the lines would be in the middle of summer. The lockers are expensive ($12 for a small). The small waterslides are nice for younger kids.
There is no other like Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels! You just have to come try it for yourself! Best in Texas!
Good place to enjoy the day. There are two parks, one old and one new, connected by shuttles. Both can be entered with a single ticket. Good rides and lots of fun activities. Do try to ride the wooded crocodile in the new park. Too much fun !!
ok so I love it...but they could do some stuff differently I lived that you can still bring in lunch that's awesome saves us money ...parking is free ...your stuff is safe i find a table..the lazy rivers are awesome...the big rides it took.us 2 hrs in line though for wolfstream or something they let all the big ppl.that couldn't fit in the other rides go first ..people were getting heated...to say the least...oh and they have fast pass they got to go first...after that we had fun
Best waterpark around. We make sure to go every year. This place is extremely family friendly and I love both the original and the new park. I tried the food for the first time this year and it was actually extremely good. We will be making this a yearly family tradition.
Great place to spend the summer with family and friends. Whether you want to go on a thrilling ride like the Master Blaster or lay back in the Falls and enjoy the water, there's so much to do and explore at Schilitterbahn. Highly recommend to go either early in the morning or late in the evening when the lines are usually shorter.
As a first timer I was very disappointed. The Waterpark was Ok it s more of a tubing type of a thing , but I was not pleased at all with the resort/hotel stay never again will I pay so much to stay in a place like this .The room was so old looking with old furniture and the carpet so disgusting made us feel uncomfortable to walk in without shoes . Their was also a room right next door to us the walls are so paper thing and we could literally hear everything that was going on the other end . This place is no where near being called a resort. Save your money .
Crowded place during the summer and love to go tubing.
Lines are incredibly long on Saturdays during Summer
Not as many "rides" as we expected, most are variations of a lazy river. Fun for a day but a bit pricey. I did like that you can bring in your own cooler.
Had a great time! I m glad they let us take in our cooler so we could picnic there. Water rides were fun. Funnel cake with ice cream was delicious. Wave pool was amazing and the lazy river ride with water/ tube/person elevator was fun! Tons of picnic areas in the shade.
The kids and I had a great time. The west side of the park is shaded really well and was our favorite side. The east side of the park was MUCH longer lines for a lot shorter rides. The Torrent River on the east side is a lot of fun with no wait, but other than that everybody preferred the west side of the park. Parking is free and you can bring in your own food to save some $$$. Also be prepared to climb A LOT of stairs in between rides. Over all it was a lot of fun though.
On a holiday weekend only a small part of the park was open. Honestly, it was a waste of money to come out this far to find such a small part of the park open.
My family had an amzing time. Although they are nott very handicap accessible . the new parks were but the old park in NB is not. No ramps... Just stairs.
The rides are always fun but the wait is long the employees seem disinterested and the food is not very good
Was super fun for 2 action packed days. Loved the new rides The Falls and Dragons Lair. Glad to see the park safe and well managed!
It is very nice the water park and has enough fun to spend a good weekend with the family I recommend them
Sold us a ticket on line and park was closed. Spend $117 +a uber ride.
We ended up having to float the river instead. Not happy.
I had to wait in line for like 10 minutes! Geez, I've had diarrhea sessions go by faster!
Splash splash! It really is the hottest coolest place in Texas. Getting a cabana or any shade is as crucial to having a full day of fun as is staying hydrated. Great times
AMAZING WATERPARK!!! Really big and we haven t even scratched the surface.. and military appreciation was awesome! Definitely planning of getting season passes. WORTH IT!
We floated the river, it was a fabulous family day
Price for what you get is not worth it. I will not be going back again. My cooking is better than over half the food out there. 60 bucks to get in. 20 bucks for a 5x7 print. Prices way over inflated. Running through a drainage ditch is cheaper. I do have to say on a positive note, all the staff working was very nice.
Love this place wish we lived closer. Very friendly staff they allow you to bring an ice chest to feed your family and the prices of food inside the park is a lot cheaper than other amusement parks. Love the cold water at the old park.
I worked here. It's a pretty cool place. Please don't get mad at the staff, most of them are 15/16 and trying their best.
My favorite place in Texas for water fun. No charge for parking. You may bring your cooler in the park. Plenty of shade. Have never had any of my belongings messed with. Excellent pricing for tickets. This is an every year trip, and I don't understand why people would waste their time and money at any other water park in Texas.
Always love going to this park and they let you bring in your own coolers so much better than having to buy their food or drinks which can sometimes get expensive. To bad I forgot to pick up the photo haus picture that was one of the best pictures ever that me and husband and our kids to a pic of
My daughter loves it! A very big water park super nice!
