It's alright, but honestly it feels a bit overpriced and the lines are really long, there are slides for which the lines take over two hours, so even if you get there really early, don't expect to go into all attractions...

MASTERBLASTER/SURFENBURG PARKING IS THE ONE ON UNION. "Main Entrance" IS THE AREA ON LIBERTY.

I definitely remembered this place with nostalgia goggles. Clean water, lots of rides with long waits but also some features without crazy waits. Save your feet: Wear flip flops when walking between parks, you can usually find a safe spot for them where ever you go.

I got an XL locker for $25 for the whole day which fit a Med-size cooler, a small backpack, and had a bit of wiggle room for more. Our day kind of revolved around visiting it.

Parking took me an hour. I recommend getting there to park welllll before opening time. The shuttles do run early so even if you're not on the side that you want to be KEEP YOUR PARKING SPOT IT IS LIKE GOLD.

I went with my Nephew and his wife We had a great time racing down the rides in our tubes. The only suggestion I have is to put up some sort of misting system on over the long lines out in the heat of the open sun. It would really enhance the guest experience and create a much better ride satisfaction.

I give this waterpark 5 stars, because Schlitterbahn lets you bring coolers in, so you don't have to purchase pricy food from the waterpark concession. Parking and Tubes are free. Very affordable for all day fun!

A must do for all families in Texas! Bring your own food and soft drinks. Pack light as you run around without any of your belongings most of the time. All day fun guaranteed...when the numbers are low. Can imagine serous frustration during peak times with long queues!

This is an excellent way to spend a hot summers day. Plenty of variety of features, from relaxing pools and river floats to white water rapids that shake out cobwebs. The staff is polite and facilities are clean. Id recommend a season pass if you live in the area.

A great place to take the family, the only problem is during the busy season u have 2 wait FOREVER in line 2 get on a slide or ride!! Just as u get off 1 ride u wait in another line and by the time u get 2 go on another your literally dryed off from waiting so long,it's better 2 go during the off season. It's cool though u can rent cabins right next 2 the park so u can walk 2 the park.

There is no better way to spend a family vacation than to float around in the beautiful waters of Schlitterbahn! We spent 5 days relaxing in tubes, catching up with each other's lives and having fun. Schlitterbahn is a slow paced water park for the entire family. From the uphill water coaster to the pirate ship, there is something for everyone. The park is clean, the staff is friendly and they have done a great job of navigating Covid19.

When there are a lot of people, it gets a lot of crazy. Takes forever to wait in line, forever to find floats. We were lucky to find a table for our stuff. It felt like staff was overwhelmed when we were there. I saw one of the staff members scream and start crying. It was that crazy. Next time we will go at a different time of year and day.

Went to the one in New Braunfels and had the best time! I went on the Dragon's Revenge and my only complaint is the jets that shoot you up the slope and I worried that my pants were going to fall down! Other than that the experience was amazing! 9.5/10!

The park was fun, clean and not too packed. Getting a tube(needed one with a bottom)in some spots is difficult, but if you walk to the next entrance you'll find some, we did anyway. The bathrooms were clean and there are lockers to rent to store items in. The one thing I couldn't get was a table in the shade. We ate lunch on a lounge chair in the sun. Not too bad though. We had a blast. The wave pool was fun. We went to that a few times. It did stop making waves for quite a while so we left if. It still had a current, but no waves. Good times . You can pack food and drinks and parking was free.

This was my first time going, and there was a bunch to do. We made a long weekend out of it so we weren't rushing around to do stuff, took one day at the east park and the next day at the west park. Plenty to do, if you dont like waiting in lines early, I'd recommend going to the old park first right at opening.

My husband and I went on a Thursday. I want to stress, on a Thursday. We got there at about 9:30ish and there was plenty of parking. They allow you into the park to get your tickets but not access the rides till 10 a.m.. Before getting a table, we bought the blast passes. THESE PASSES ARE A MUST HAVE. They are about $36 a piece (add $20 for deposit). We waited no longer than 6 min to ride the popular rides that other people had been waiting over an hour or longer for. It is totally worth the extra cash. We got a shaded table in no time on the WEST. Even at around noon, there were still plenty of empty tables. They may not be in the popular areas, but you don't spend that much time there if you are enjoying yourself anyway. Start at the EAST park (we didn't, now regret it), there is not much shade there and early it wont be so bad. Then finish at the FREEZING water part of the park, the WEST (where we got a table). If you are at the park early, there was not a wait for rides. By around 11ish, the crowds came but still didn't feel overcrowded. Some advice I would give, BRING WATER SHOES OR FLIPFLOPS!! I cannot tell you how ugly it felt to see small children burning their feet because they had no shoes. Parents cannot tell me it doesn't burn their feet. It's Texas, everything is hot, even the black tubes get hot when they are in the sun. Another advice I would give is bring an insulated backpack/bag to bring water or other essentials to another park you are traveling to. This way you don't take your entire ice chest. We got thirsty and hungry upon traveling to another section in the park. We bought a personal pizza to share, and some powerade. We will take a personal pack or small ice chest next time to travel between parks, like I mentioned before, there were still tables around 3 pm but not in popular areas. Take a small sunscreen with you too. We bought a stick sunscreen to use for next time and keep in our pockets. I lost my sunglasses, so buy the stretch float band to use, I didn't but wish I had. There go $10! The White Water ride was intense and I would use caution with small children. My tube flipped over. I am not that light (but not that heavy) and was caught off guard when it happened. Every question we had, a staff member had an answer to. I know they are young kids, but they were helpful to us. They do not serve water at all the bar locations, but they do have bottled water, which you will have to pay for. We bought some adult beverages, which were priced high, but they were of good size. The food prices weren't that bad, for the amount of food. My suggestion is save on food by bringing your own, and BUY THE BLAST PASSES. We will be going back with my children (ages 17-9) and will most definitely be buying them. For today, we enjoyed ourselves, got to check things out and watch all the other parents deal with kids. I also suggest going alone with adults. It was so much fun not to have to worry about the kids and enjoy the water rides. Drink and bring lots of water!! Water shoes!! Sunscreen!! BUY THE BLAST PASSES!!! Enjoy! We will be back again, preferably on a Thursday. :)

Definitely not a park my family will visit again. ...

Definitely not a park my family will visit again. My son had heat exhaustion and we asked 3 employees for help and they acted like they had no clue what to do and could not provide any help for us or even a ride back to our area where we had a cooler. I had the drink band on but did not have our refillable cup, I asked one vendor to please provide a drink and they said no I did not have the cup with me. That was very poor service for a sick child, all employees should understand how to help the customer get to first aid. We ended up having to take care of him ourselves, thank goodness my husband and I are both clinical. We paid almost 50.00 for 4 hamburgers and ended up ill from the food. We waited 2 hours in line for one ride because they decided to complete tube maintenance in the middle of the morning. The falls ride is fun however, they completely separate you from your children and the faux rocks do quite some damage to legs, arms, and heads. The water was not deep enough and many complained of the scraping and bruising of your bottom. Our family has looked forward to a trip to Schlitterbahn for years only to find we were very disappointed and will not go back again. Many other water parks that are much nicer with more helpful employees.

I raved to my husband about this water park to get there and pay in the hundreds for 75% of the park to be closed and no notice on their website or at the booth or shuttle. We got on what we thought would take us to the next section to find out it was going to take us to the resort but we weren't resort guests. Such a disappointment to drive all the way from Dallas for a wave pool we could have gone to one back home for way cheaper. Save your money!

This is the best water park ever and I go with my family every year. Although, this year was pretty disappointing due to covid 19. Instead of posting on their website that the main water park was closed we had to figure that out ourselves. The two parks that are open are the slides, lazy river, and wave pool. If we had knew this we wouldn't have paid so much to do so little. They're only allowing a certain amount of people in the pool because of social distancing. Please don't be upset with the employees and try to understand what they're going through. Don't forget to wear a mask. Hopefully next year else will be open. Thank you Schlitterbahn!

Thanks to their American Heroes campaign, my family and I had a wonderful day at the water park for a very affordable rate. The free parking and ability to bring in picnic lunches made it that much better.

We had passes to six flags last season, but the kids enjoyed this so much more.

Thank you schlitterbahn for honoring our military.
