We has a short stay, just one night. There was a mixup between what we ordered on Priceline and what they booked us and they ended up upgrading us to a suite - which was very nice. The grounds are very exciting. People are in common areas talking and hanging out. The location was a 15 min walk from downtown. Great place for the price.

Very noisy. Plastic surrounding a work area just outside our door scraped and popped in the wind all night. Showers in neighboring rooms sound like planes taking off from our room. $15 dollar "resort" charge is a scam. Floors are dirty and internet access sketchy.

Basic accommodations nothing real bad and nothing real good. It's like a crossbred Motel 6 with Hampton Inn.

The on-site restaurant called "Derailed at the Sage" is a lot of fluff with very little substance. They should concentrate on doing a few things really good instead of many things mediocre.

Their beautiful website is a bit misleading. This place is no more than a Super 8 with a facelift. This is your basic motel and a photo of the parking lot would illustrate this. It is a wood frame structure where we could hear every footstep all night from the guests above us and the walls are no better.

The upside it is professionally ran and the shuttle to the plaza is very convenient. I wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal for $100 but a photo of the outside facade would have been more of an indication of what we were getting.

Great friendly service, quiet space and clean hotel rooms. Loved the closeness of Whole Foods since I was there for work and in a great location close to several shops, restaurants and breweries.

We extended our road trip this past July/August to stay a night in Santa Fe so we booked this hotel hours before we arrived. We were extremely pleased with the Inn.

Its definitely an old motel style with exterior facing rooms, but with 5 and 3 yos we had a ton of stuff in our car for the trip and were able too offload right from our car into the room.

The rooms and bathrooms weren't the most updated but they weren't awful. The boys loved to pool (although it gets shaded quickly and it isn't very large). It is awesome how close it it to the rail yard play area. We were able to walk over and the kids could play and we could enjoy the cool art everywhere while we walked around.

The restaurant could be more kid friendly, but it served its purpose. Good breakfast buffet the next morning. Overall extremely pleased with our last minute find.

The Santa Fe Sage Inn is fine for what it is - a motel in a convenient location. Anywhere else, this motel would not be able to get $175 - 200 per room, but since it is Santa Fe, they can charge that. The rooms are not worth $175. The photography of their website is amazing- it paints a picture of a completely different inn. This is not a quiet southwest inn nestled on a side street. It is on a very busy street corner, and the property is extremely small. The rooms look nice as you walk in, except that with the large queen size beds and oversized furniture, there is no room to move and it is very cramped. I stayed with my two children and there was no way to have suitcases out and accessible and still allow room to walk. If I had booked a Motel 6, it would have met my expectations. Long check in time, cramped parking, cramped room, cigarette burns on the bedspread, etc. It was fine for a night, but way overpriced and I would not choose to stay here again.

Great place to see a very central location in Santa Fe. Great lodge very friendly staff nice pool. Workout facility within walking distance of a gas station and a Whole Foods. Minutes away from everywhere in Santa Fe.

It is in a great location; relatively close to town and right next to the Farmers market on the Tuesdays & Saturdays. The rooms are lovely and the staff are all brilliant and attentive. I would absolutely choose to stay here again the next time I'm passing through Santa FE.

This is a fine basic motel. Rooms clean but amenities few. Great spot if you are on the road and need a place to sleep that's reasonably priced for Santa Fe. Fairly convenient to old town, short car ride or 15-20 min walk.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. We live in Colorado Springs. They have a 3 day notice for cancellation of reservation. I made a reservation 2 days before arrival. I was notified by my family that my 94 year old mother was dying who lives in Kansas City. I was on my way to Santa Fe and literally turned the car around to head east. I called to cancel my reservation and was told they would not refund my money--147.45. They billed my card 149.77. We discussed the situation with the manager, Miguel, he was the most uncaring and egregiously disrespectful human being to negotiate with. He made money on the heartbreak of someone else. If he rented the room to anyone that night he doubled his money. Disgusting.

clean and nicely furnished rooms with Santa fe style hammered metal decor. friendly shuttle service to and from the plaza. free breakfast. free coffee all day. only wish there was a hot tub because pool was closed in January when I visited. from our room, it was a pleasant 15 minute walk to the plaza area.

Where to begin? 1. This is not an inn; it's a motel. The pictures are misleading. 2. The shower was filthy. 3. There was no noise barrier between the neighbors and my room. 4. It took several minutes with tinkering to turn on the AC. 5. Only one lamp in a corner far from the bed. 6. I don't think the cleaners bothered to vacuum the floor. 7. A $15 hidden fee (for a motel no less!). 8. I had to pay for parking.

Dog friendly hotel! Nice patio area to eat and sit with your dog and it's so clean. The staff were very friendly. Walking distance to Whole Foods and there is a nice park across the street with a toddler safe play area.

The provided internet was poor quality and spotty connection. The breakfast was free but if you wanted to use the omelet bar than you had to pay extra, although there was no sign to indicate that. The room was well kept although the bed only had two pillows and a decorative one. We came to the hotel at noon to check in, when we were told check in was at 4pm which seemed ridiculous. The AC was adjacent to the bed so it was very cold with it blowing directly on you.

Wonderful, I've reviewed before and now had two great stays there in the last two months. The lobby and breakfast room are lovely, the bar appears to be a place where people do congregate which is uncommon for 'historic motor lodge' type hotels that are being re-created to suit and compete with today's market but with great prices. The wifi worked well, the security was very helpful with my u-haul project, and in every way the hotel staff could not have been nicer.

The location is great and the common areas are all well put together and updated. The rooms themselves are a bit of a time machine, albeit a clean and totally functional one. The only annoying thing was the lack of outlets. Overall, a good value.

The best thing going for this place is the location. Easy to get downtown and walk across the street to the Saturday farmer s market which is amazing. However, they add on a mandatory $15/night charge when you arrive. When we asked what it was for they said parking (we didn t bring a car), hot breakfast (which we didn t eat as we were here for a wedding weekend), the in-room tablet (didn t use, we have our own phones and an iPad), heating the pool , and the WiFi (which was VERY spotty and cut out repeatedly). We also had to ask 3x for them to fix the TV - this was more on principal since we wanted to have the things we were paying for actually work. So, it was a lot of money to stay here and not much to show for it. I would recommend staying elsewhere, even if it costs a little more as you will get more bang for your buck.

Place was clean and staff was very helpful. Superb breakfast! Parking right in front of my room so it was easy to unload and load our stuff, especially since we are travelling across the country with both our pets. Shuttle is available to take you to the city center.

Staff is nice. Location is near downtown either by a 10 minute walk or the hourly shuttle from the hotel. Next to a whole foods which is great to save a few bucks on eating out. Affordable considering the alternatives. Problems though. Squeaky everywhere. Breakfast is nothing special. Heat/AC was awful either full heat or full cold. Room was tiny. Will try somewhere else next time.

Bryan up front will take great care of you. If you have a need just express it and he will see what he can do. Social has great food and drinks and atmosphere you don't have to leave to experience good Santa Fe atmosphere. we came back a second night just so we could have the breakfast again. This place really rolls out the red carpet for you. I will stay here again!

Good location. Free shuttle to Governors Plaza. Great staff. Decent food & drink menu. Needs some renovations. Stayed in a double room & not much moving around space, pretty tight. Nice toiletries. I was with a tour so I can't comment on pricing

I loved the lobby/restaurant/patio. The music rocked, the food was good with reasonable prices and the location absolutely fantastic. The room wasn't much, definitely dated and you could hear everything going on in the parking lot, but that won't stop me from staying at this hotel again.

Been awake most of the night listening to the baby elephant waking on the squeaky floor boards in the room above us. Well appointed 'small room', can hear people waking and talking outside the room, piping is VERY noisy can hear toilets flushing and other people taking showers. Paid $89 pn and THEN they also Charge $5 extra for parking your car, Never had that before. I will move to Motel 6 across the road.

The reception desk and adjacent social/bar are beautiful and fine. The walls and ceiling of the room must have been made out of paper since the walking of the neighbor upstairs or the shower of the side neighbor would cause so much noise that they woke me up. My room was in building B. Other buildings of the complex may be better. Stay away from building B by all means.

Room was nice and clean. staff was friendly. I was happy with my stay. One of the cleaning ladyservices had knocked on my room door then opened it, I had the safety lock on, but was a little uncomfortable because of that it was no where near check out time. maybe if they were a little more careful.

The hotel was fine and the restaurant was cool and had good food. There were cigarette burns on the bed spread. The staff was very nice and the location is good, so the pros did outweigh the cons.

It's really just a motel. The rooms are clean and the beds are nice but they claim to be a 3-star hotel and that just isn't true. I'm sure it isn't like this in every room but the wifi was completely unusable in mine, I tried it on my phone, laptop and tablet. The bathroom was very tiny and unremarkable.

Motor inn trying to be chic boutique hotel, but sufficient upgrades have not been implemented yet. Bathrooms need complete update. bedrooms need lamps. breakfast is not really free when you are charged a $15 daily fee for breakfast and wifi

This 'Inn' mislead from the start. The accommodation is a glorified motel. When arrived the main lobby looked great, clean and seemed like a nice place to stay on a budget. Was I wrong, once checked in we had to walk up stairs, no elevator. Our room smelled of must and cleaning supplies. After all was said and done I still had to pay $85 for one night. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

We were supposed to stay at this hotel. On the way there, we found out post of it had burned down so they cancelled our reservation. We were told that maybe they might help us secure another hotel. Two hours later we called, and they said that no, after all they were not going to do anything for us. Avoid.

The rooms were nice and comfortable. The A/C unit was super loud and sounded like a garage door opening in the middle of the night. I also wasn't impressed with the cleanliness in the bathroom. Otherwise, this hotel has a great location and appears to have a cool restaurant on site.

Came here on my honeymoon and was given a free upgraded room. The staff was super nice, even though they were very busy. The room was clean and very cozy. The breakfast was good, but the bar drinks were even better. Probably the best maragrita I have ever had. I will come back next time I am near Santa Fe just to stay here and order another maragrita, or two. Great spot to stay!

I honestly loved it. It was perfect for the dogs, perfect in location (you can literally walk to Whole Foods), and breakfast was free and yum. They even have Temple Spa shampoos and conditioners! I had such a wonderful time here, that we will stay anytime we visit Santa Fe again.

No outlets because they were all used by unnecessary extra gadgets. When I unplugged the tablet to charge my phone, it beeped all night, even when placed back on the cradle (had to put it in the bathroom under a pillow to be able to sleep). Also, the wifi was horrible, too. 2 bars in the room, and no bars in the bathroom. When I complained to the service desk, they waived the $5 parking fee, that's all. Very disappointed.

An awesome little hotel near everything in Santa Fe. Easy access in and out of the place. The breakfast burritos in the morning were good, the coffee was great and the front desk staff was very helpful. 10/10 would stay here again.
