Stayed here for 2 nights on June 2019
1.All staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful! The front desk was extremely helpful! The lady who helped us gave us a map of ther place, circled our room, and showed us where we could park told us breakfast hours etc. And just made us feel so welcomed.
2.Clean rooms , great housekeeping every single time
Good breakfast(waffles, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, healthy cereal, greek yogurt )
3.Great location! We were able to go to Meow Wolf, children's museum, Loretto Chapel, the river park, the plaza, all within 5 to 10 min drive!

4.Only downside was that the pool was closed due to seasonal maintenance which my daughter was super excited about until we got there and saw the closed sign. Wish staff would've told us about it or mentioned it on their website. :c

Other than that I would recommend this hotel

Well taken care of, very affordable and nice updates to this inn. Everything was clean and the staff was friendly. One of the best continental breakfasts that we've had at an inn. The option to use the Social kitchen + bar on site is really nice. Food was good and the bartender was great.

Small but fairly clean room. Reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. Odd sweet cloying annoying smell coming from the air conditioner but on the other hand, it did work. Staff is very friendly. Location is convenient to attractions. Shuttle driver most accommodating. Room has no refrigerator, no microwave, no magnifying mirror, plumbing certainly could use some attention. The smoke alarm kept going off upon use of the hair dryer... which is situated directly under the smoke alarm.. how stupid can you get? Free breakfast ...well it's free, one can't expect much. Would I stay here again? Definitely NOT

Been here twice, and enjoyed both times. Friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are cosy and comfortable. Lots of parking and breakfast was good too. Short walk from the main sights of Santa Fe.

This hotel is such a great value. We stayed here because we had our dogs and were looking for a hotel walking distance to the Plaza. Location is amazing, walked everywhere! It has the best free breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the furniture in the room was too big, leaving very little floor space and there weren't any available plugs to charge our phones. Had to unplug the clock, sorry!

Chantay (or Sh-an-t-ee) Was very helpful at the front desk, even though it was very busy, the room didn't have a microwave but she was able to assist us. The room is good for the price in Santa Fe NM

Room was comfortable and had a cool southwest/industrial theme that I really dig. The bar fare was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, the most incredible plate of nachos I ever ate. Friendly attentive staff. Clean and safe laundry facility. Nice place, and a great place to stay if traveling through Santa Fe. Reservation came with a free drink too!

Price, location, fresh free breakfast. Rooms are clean, compact and staff friendly. Can walk to most attractions or convention center in under 20 minutes. Toiletries and small fridge. Free coffee in reservations area from local source. Nice. Small restaurant and bar with karaoke and live music, surprisingly.

The Sage Hotel went above and beyond during our stay. My fiance spoke with the front desk staff / manager about having them arrange a bouquet of roses in our room for me, since we were celebrating our engagement anniversary. Not only did they provide a beautiful bouquet of roses but some chocolate and a bottle of wine with two glasses. I know that they usually don't do this but they truly went above and beyond to provide a romantic weekend for us and we can't them enough for doing this.

The room was clean and perfect for two. Bed was big and cozy. Breakfast was available to go as well as a Keurig in our room. Location was perfect, the plaza and our favorite restaurants within minutes. We will definitely stay at The Sage again, great price for a weekend getaway.

Thank you to all the staff at The Sage for keeping the place clean, and Covid-19 compliant. We can't thank you enough.
Much love, Ryan and Diana.

The room had a very nice decor and was kept very clean. The check in staff were extremely courteous too and I was very satisfied.

Edit: I'm updating this to acknowledge the cleaning and front staff that located the phone charger I had forgotten in the room and mailed it to me. Excellent service. Thank you very much!!!

I wound up having to spend Thanksgiving here alone and stayed at the Santa Fe Sage Inn for 2 nights. The food is excellent, the chef is a very nice lady that comes out and talks to the customers. Jessica the bartender is very nice and makes excellent drinks. The rooms are nice, everything works and they are decorated with Santa Fe style furniture.
The chef gets the vegetables from the local farmers market and the price of the room was very low.
I feel like I have found a secret place that I can tell friends about.
Thank you Sage Inn!

Great location and I really enjoyed my cozy, southwestern-themed room. You can walk to the plaza and Guadalupe street pretty easily. I was looking for an affordable hotel that was also nice, and this was it!

The hotel was OK, but older & more run down than anticipated. Bedding at most La Quintas is newer at half the price. Somewhat disappointed for the cost. And they have absolutely no right to charge a resort fee of $15... That's a joke.

I needed a home-away-from-home that was close to everything in Santa Fe a week. What a warm, welcoming place this is! I needed a comfortable bed to rest and relax and it was more than I'd imagined. Every inch of the room was clean and the little extras of quality soaps, lotions and hair care were nourishing and nurturing. Who'd a thought? in a place that is so modestly priced. I love it. Because it's located next to Whole Foods, I'd planned to walk over to get a morning coffee - but the coffee that the Sage Inn serves with their breakfast once again exceeded my expectations so instead with cup in hand crossed the street and enjoyed the Railyard Park in the morning light. Great start, great day, great stay.

Well I was on call for work and first I booked through Agonda after being asked if I could work. The front desk guy was really nice stating that he upgraded my room but it was to a suite with no tub which is why I booked. Then the room looked as if someone had just been in it the bed. It was messed up and there was blood in the bathroom. Dried blood as if someone had been hurt in the bathroom the guy who came to bring me the other key for the second room said it was a women s menstral blood which was extremely upsetting. I tried to call front desk and of course the phone didn t work then in the next room neither tv worked the shower wouldn t stay in shower it was a combo of bathing and showering and it smelled like smoke. The person upstairs was up and down all night and so I never really got sleep so since I didn t get called in all in all was a horrible experience and I will most definitely check reviews when I need to be on call. This is a terrible place that when you book online changes your room from what you reserved in order to use those for people with the money on hand and oh yeah they charge and additional 15.00 fee for some reason not included in your original charge. Please avoid.... they are only in it for the money the front desk person said he couldn t reimburse because I used website to book I never write reviews but wanted to save someone else staying here for work dealing with this horrible hotel and service. If I could give negative ratings I would..

I visited in spring of 2019. It is a motel; not my idea of an inn. Washing machines had serious issues and no one on site knew what to do about it. The bathroom was the size of a closet. You may have to step into the tub to close the door. Electrical outlets are poorly placed. Noise was conducted too well. Rooms are tiny. Furniture is positioned to create a cramped room. The on-site bar/restaurant/breakfast area was alright, not great though. Live music was poorly laid out in the small space. I would not stay there again or recommend unless you just need a roof over your head for the night.

Santa Fe Sage Inn was conveniently located to everything we wanted to see and do in Santa Fe. If you aren't in the mood to drive, they offer a free Sage Coach Shuttle service to and from the Plaza (which is filled with great shopping, galleries, and dining) daily from 9am-9pm.

Upon checking in, you're welcomed with fruit-infused water, coffee, & signs about the "Social" restaurant attached. Do note that they can't guarantee your room will be ready until 4pm. We arrived at 3pm and were told our room wasn't ready yet and to check back 30 minutes to an hour later. It was the next person we spoke to at 3:40pm who informed us of this later check-in time. Other people were also waiting on their rooms.

Once we we're given keys to the room, we checked into a cute, Santa Fe-themed room. It was clean and fresh and had local publications for us to look through to learn of local events, restaurants, & entertainment. Nice touch.

On site, they have free WiFi, laundry, fitness center and pool (which was closed since it's February). We enjoyed the full, hot breakfast served between 7-10pm. With various drink options, eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, breads, & topping options, you couldn't go wrong.

We'd stay here again and would recommend it to people traveling to the Santa Fe area.

We stayed here because I wanted a nice option then a cheap motel. This is listed as a $179 a night option and we got a special price online. Rooms are very small, ours was missing a microwave. Pillows we ridiculously flat and uncomfortable. Need was hard and at exactly 7:00 am Friday morning the garbage truck pulled up right outside our door. Breakfast was very lack luster. Not up to the newer standards of a free breakfast. There is trash desks and furniture and refrigerators right in the parking lot outside our room. I can't believe they dare charge a extra $30 resort fee for this place.

Worst motel stay ever! I booked a room for two nights. First evening I took brief shower because there was no hot water. I called the front desk and was told engineering had left for the day and would address the situation first thing in the a.m. I wasn't contacted. Took a second cold shower, unable to wash my hair the water was so cold. The front desk told me the hotel just had too many guests and to wait until the hotel cleared out and the water should be fine by evening. I took a freezing cold bath and the water was also brown. I called to complain. I was told engineering had gone home at two. Then I was told the head engineer was right next to him & heard the whole conversation!!?? I checked out early and am still waiting on my refund which has been another ordeal. You get what you pay for. Don't stay at cheap hotels. Live & learn.

I love staying here! The rooms are clean, and nothing extravagant, but centrally located, only minutes from downtown, and they provide free shuttle service. There is a complimentary breakfast that is decent. Cable, Ice, pool, and wifi all included.

I m giving this motel 2 stars. The shower in room 206 was horrible. The water came more out of the faucet instead of the shower resulting in a shower that barely dribbled. Hence the water pooled around my shins. There was not one ice machine that worked and so we had to go to the bar to get ice. On a positive note, the beds were comfortable. If you are in to a 2 star hotel- this is what you will get.

I visited Santa Fe for two days last week on a southwest road trip with my 11 year old son. I knew nothing about the Inn before staying here, and in fact, had only been in Santa Fe once before-- so I chose my accommodations based solely on what I knew of the town already and online reviews. I was overall pleased with my stay at the Sage Inn. The location was convenient (made even more so by the shuttle to the plaza!), the room was clean, and the hotel was overall a nice, safe place to stay for two days. The pool was a little small and pretty cold, but my little guy still LOVED swimming with some of the other hotel guests. (There were many families at the hotel.) The food in the restaurant was decent, and the server was on top of her game. My only negative: there were some loud, drunk patrons outside of our room on the first night, but that could happen anywhere and is certainly not the hotel's fault. We would definitely stay here again if travelling through Santa Fe.

The room was fine - adequate for a 2-night stay. Breakfast is buffet style and could be a little disorganized as it was so busy - on the second day they ran out of bread. On the plus side, we ate in the bar/restaurant one night as there was heavy rain outside and the food was great with excellent service from our waitress. Unfortunately they messed up our booking and thought we were only staying for one night. On the second day we were emailed a bill for the second day's stay and our door cards no longer worked. We had to produce a copy of our booking to convince them we really were staying two days. At least no charge has appeared on my credit card, yet.

My wife and I stayed here for 2 night's after reserving room via Orbits for a discounted price. The price for the room is good. The location was great, they provide shuttle service to and from the plaza which is awesome! The woman who drove us was very friendly and gave us some tips on what Santa Fe has to offer. The rooms were good enough for 2 adults. I would have given it 4 stars but a couple of things I did not like.

For breakfast, my wife and I got there about 5 mins after 7am, which is when they start serving breakfast, and we thought whatever food they had there was for us to enjoy. I was grabbing some bacon when I was told I could not eat any bacon due to the fact that that was only for omelettes...which cost $5. There was no sign there letting us know about that. I only wanted bacon and not an omelette..they would not let me get it. Then..after I brought this up...they bring out a sign letting us know that it would cost $5 to get any of the sides they had at their omelette station. That was a first...even at Motel 6s they provide more than what they had there.

Another thing, I know we're not there to watch TV but after a day on the slopes...one gets a bit tired and would like to relax for a couple hours and watch some TV...this was really bad. Most of the channels they have on their lineup are either not available or are snowy. No bueno!

Again...great place to stay at because of location..pricing and the staff was friendly.

At first, I had a poor/unsatisfactory customer service experience. Because business is not made of one person, Jessica (manager) with kindness, courtesy and grace turned the experience 360 degree. Thank you Jessica. You are amazing.
