Nice views, beautiful interior, likeable staff. Definitely consider staying here if you are ever in the area and need a place to call home for a night
Great views, easy access to downtown convention center and waterfront
Attended 2 luch events with a conference, first was awesome server was fantastic, the following day server, Hispanic lady, was extremely rude and for a $70.00 lunch per person, I would expect at least decent service.
Very nice place! Can't go wrong here beautiful place to stay!
Service and hospitality was great. Very good to work there. I would stay home, seen, and the sea.
Love this place. The area is fabulous, lots of restaurants and short walk to gas lamp district
The hotel is very well located. Only 5 minutes walking from GasLamp. It has two towers and most rooms have a view of the bay. From there you can observe the ships of the US Navy.
The service is excellent and the staff is attentive to any question or request
Registration was very friendly, other staff alittle rude, was clean and quiet
Enjoyed our stay here in the fall. Clean hotel great location and nice pool
Stayed here in July 2016. We got to check-in early, which was fantastic! Got a great corner room with a panoramic view of the marina, harbor, Coronado & the bridge. Beautiful! Room & bathroom were big, updated & modern. Only missed having a balcony... Ate at Exchange because it was easy & food was okay. Pool could be a bit bigger & warmer, but was still fun for both day & night swimming! Pool area is very nice, with water features, plus fire pits for the mornings & evenings (as the buildings create a big of a wind tunnel & it can be cold). The reflection of the sun off the building could be blinding when at the pool or even on the Boardwalk. It also created a surreal light at the pool at about 3pm, which was kind-of cool. Starbucks was VERY convenient! Hotel was very busy with a conference of high schoolers, who were generally well-behaved, but clogged the elevators at times. Lots of good places to eat close by (found on Yelp of course) & things to do. Overall a good place for a stay-cation.
The hotel was very clean and the staff was professional. Signs clearly indicated where I needed to go. The bar near the South tower elevators was very friendly and accommodated me and my friend for hours.
Excellent reception staff and clean rooms. If coming for comic con, the shuttle bus stop is very close
Great view within walking distance to gaslamp, sea port, and little Italy.
Rooms very clean and spacious, but no free internet in rooms only in lobby,
Starbucks is in the lobby area so you can enjoy your coffee with free internet.
Amazing. This place is so wonderful. It's like a dream.
Awesome hotel with incredible views and pool. The place to stay in San Diego. Close to the Gaslamp Quarter with easy access to bars and restaurants.
Great position (make sure you get an ocean view!) within easy reach of the Gaslamp are with plenty of entertainment and restaurants (try the broken yolk for breakfast) comfortable rooms with good facilities and a great pool are with bar
Convenient location. Nice clean rooms. Helpful staff.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms with refrigerator which is nice. Higher floors had great views. Nice bar downstairs. Helpful staff.
Love this place. My go to when traveling to San Diego.
Great views and easy access. Like the poolside bar and cantina.
One of the Best hotels around great place to visit, especially during comic con
Great hotel. Perfect for conferences at the convention center. Did not have one bad experience there.
Just walked through this hotel. Very nice in the lobby and the pool looks very nice with lots of chairs and a few fire pits!
The bar and pool area make you feel like your visiting Hawaii. Great food too...
My favorite hotel in downtown San Diego. Walking distance to the Gaslamp, Seaport Village and Petco Park. Lots of dining options in the hotel and an awesome pool! Great place to spend 4th of July too. You can see the fireworks in the bay from the hotel!
We recently stayed in this hotel and it was horrible. We checked into our room and the bathtub was very dirty and there were dirty clothes in the bathroom from the previous guest. The hotel offered to reimburse us 50 dollars but honestly for claiming your a 4 star hotel in such a prime location your standard of clean needs to much higher especially after charging almost 300 dollars a night for the room, charging for parking and WiFi. We ended up moving hotels and cancelling the remainder of our stay at this location.
The customer service was excellent! We came for the marine corps ball and just loved the venue. Thank you for making our stay an amazing time. If our ball is there again I know I'll have a fun time.
I have stayed here during San Diego Comic-Con for almost 10 years, and some of the staff recognize me upon arrival, and they are always excellent even in the madness that is Con week.
The best hotel ever lobby looks like if you where going into the newest airport but even better looking I would say the best I would recommend a friend to stay in this hotel
Here for business travel, very happy. Every staff member I've come across has a smile and a friendly greeting. Some might complain, but seeing the Navy do their thing off my balcony was a great treat for me. You just don't see F-18s and Ospreys flying every day...
Comfortable beds, could use slightly better pillows. If that's the only negative I can come away with, there isn't much negative to say.
The amazing concierge staff helped me shop home a bottle of vanilla. Best hospitality I've ever seen!
Great decor, great service, and good food and drink.
The rooms are small but nice. there s only one bar of soap so pick if you want to wash your hands or your body. not a big deal but a detail. the common areas are fantastic. palms, ferns, and huge broad leash banana and other similar plants. Great restaurant. People were very friendly. a beatiful property.
The hotel was clean and everything is in walking distance
Ok, smells a little, strange on the floors, like they've been abandoned or something
I got sworn in there. Wonderful life changing experience.
Gorgeous hotel, friendly staff. Confusing layout that needs better signage.
Absolutely beautiful and killing it with the Traffic & Conversions convention.
Everything from my room?, the view, the dining... all perfect.
What was the last name of Kyle R who works at the pool as a pool guy? Sorry to ask as meet him and seeing if we can find and add each other on Facebook. Thanks and stayed for the last 2 years at this hotel for summer for July 4th! Please have him friend and find me. Eric Ludwig Tucson, AZ and picture of me of friends and group as profile picture. Sorry and not take in a bad way. Thanks!
Would like to say thank you to James who made our stay that bit special. The hotel was fantastic and was faultless.
Beautiful hotel near boardwalk loved the pool and jacuzzi. Would go back again.
Beautiful hotel right on the water, with plenty of activities withing walking distance. Food options are good!
One of the best marriott hotels I have visited. Has a good bar, beautiful view of San Diego, and nice hotel rooms
Nice location, next to convention center and Marina.
The views are the highlight here, great if you have a bayside room overlooking the marina and boat traffic. The rooms are nice, ours was a good size but as others noted the bathrooms are old and small. Housekeeping is great, very thorough and friendly. Service in the restaurants is good but the food has generally been pretty slow to come out. I think that the staff mean well at this hotel but are either overwhelmed, under trained or both. Tried to call down one night when the pool side movie was extremely loud and waited on hold for nearly 10 minutes to speak to an operator. I asked for a manager to call back when they knew if they could turn down the volume which did happen but the Fernando the manager hung up on me mid sentence. No idea why, perhaps he had enough of people for the day... overall not a terrible hotel at all but there are others in the area that are better in my opinion.
Of note as well is that if you are a gold or platinum member you are not in for anything special here. The breakfast is limited to two people so if you have a spouse and say one child with you they will not let you in to eat. A very very rude employee at the entry will point to your voucher and say that s why we gave you that, it says two only. Look elsewhere, this hotel is done.
Walking around the hotel is an amazing experience. Seeing the promos and anime on the walls and even elavadors are impressive. Only thing I didn't like was that the restaurant was too expensive.
Very nice great pool great location walk to all downtown
Lovely Marriott near both gaslight district and seaport village
The smallest duble bed that i ever slept. Sorry but I couldn't sleep at all. The swimming pool was the best
The accommodations are wonderful. The house staff is friendly. The hotel restaurants are delicious.
This place is awesome! Really close to the marina. First rate facility.
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location for the convention, restaurants and seeing the waterfront
The corner room was spacious and offered a great view at the Marina. Aircondition is super silent and can be turned off completely. Comfortable bed.
Stayed in the hospitality suite and it was amazing. Service was amazing.
What a fantastic property. Great pool and ideal location. Kind of wish they had more casual food options, and the price is always high, but you get what you pay for. Just an awesome hotel.
It is a beautiful property with great amenities. I try to stay here whenever I can when working in San Diego. I had a great room in the Northird Tower overlooking the bay and Coronado Bridge. The elite benefits are great as well with an awesome breakfast. It just is a pain to get breakfast when you're an elite membet staying in the North Tower as the lounge is on the 24th floor of the South Tower. I was also a little disappointed about my check in experience as it was around 11 pm and there was only 1 person working with no one at the Elite desk. After flying all day and being an elite member I just wanted to get my room and relax but I had to wait for almost 20 minutes at the regular check in counter due to another guest resolving an issue. It's also an expensive property to park at with $32/day for self park and $47/day for valet. That's more then parking in any Waikiki hotel I've ever stayed at. But I quite enjoy the hotel nonetheless as the beds are really comfortable and the rooms spacious. Wired Internet in the rooms is also a perk as it really helps with my work computer. Not to mention the hotel has a great location right near the Gas Lamp and plenty of great places within walking distance.
Amazing harbour side hotel - Very good service - and facilities. Their conference facilities are Hugues and the staff really helpfull
Great hotel. Amazing view from balcony room. Great staff. Will stay here again.
Quality construction, exceptional staff, customer-focused.
Excellent location! Excellent service from EVERYONE you may come across with! Great restaurants to choose from and food to die for!!! Just 10 stars!!!
Beautiful property, great views, and comfortable atmosphere!
The Wi-Fi service for comic book guests with not served in the Nintendo area
Marvelous, great location, hotel is amazing, I really wish to stay there again
