I have been doing business with Samson Trailways for over 10 years and I only have positive things to say about the company. Trustworthy, responsive and professional. The best transportation provider in Atlanta GA!
They were late again! Same thing happened last year. Departure time was 8:25 first bus arrived at 8:17 but didn't pull into the school. Second bus arrived around 840 and the third bus about 900. Then then two of the buses left while the late bus was still getting situated. Oh let's not forget the kids had to rush thru the activities because they were late!
The people at Samson Tours Inc. are amazing. They have great customer service, very helpful and friendly. I love the people that work here and will definitely use their services again.
This business claimed payment for charter not received. I hand delivered it in January 2018. They had school's money for almost five months. Had to cancel school trip. Would rate ZERO stars.
My school has a service day every year. This year we had to reschedule it last minute due to the weather. Samson easily moved our 11 reserved bus to a different day and made the necessary changes. All of the buses were here early and lined up ready to go before the slotted time. All of the drivers were friendly and patient as we worked to get 500+ students on the road and to 7 different locations. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!
All in all very happy with them. Found them online looking for a bus field trip for my class. Nice people and nice to deal with and the whole class had a great time.

The best way I can describe my time on the bus is hellish. The air conditioner broke on the way to DC and it was miserable to ride to ride from then on. One of the screens didn't seem to work, and the ordor from the bathroom was unimaginable! To even use the bathroom was a nightmare, it felt like you were roasting. The smell from the bathroom made me loose my appetite and I could barely eat for hours! One of my family members passed out, and from what I heard, it was common sense and Google that helped save her because there was no emergency personnel that came to help. This was my first time riding with Samson, but I won't be doing it again, nor will I recondmend anyone else.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! In email communications and verbally they assured our group that we could leave personal items on the bus and they would be secure. When our group returned to the bus EVERYTHING had been stolen. The company then denied all responsibility. The driver's name is Mr. Roberts and his behavior was criminal. Tom Sambdman is the dishonest sales and marketing guy. DO NOT TRUST HIM! I imagine he probably gets a cut of what the driver steals. You've been warned.

My family chartered a 55 passenger bus for 4 days from Atlanta to DC and the experience was unpleasant to say the least. On the way to DC the air condition on one side of the bus went out completely. The temperature was between 98-103. We were told as soon as we arrived, the bus would be serviced but on the way back, not only was the same side of the bus not cooling but the air went completely out for about an hour. We had a family member with a medical condition which we disclosed on the paper work provided to the company, who ended up with a medical emergency due to the heat. The driver called her company to make them aware but nothing was done! Another bus didn't meet us to ensure the family was comfortable...nothing!
The bathroom wasn't cleaned the four days we had the bus so it smelled awful. We had to purchase Clorox to mask the smell. Imagine the odors + Clorox...disgusting to say the least!
We have a reunion every two years and we have family members who are afraid to fly so building a relationship with a bus company is key, but we will NEVER use this company again. No one called to find out how our family member who had the medical emergency was doing, the company doesn't feel responsible for having my family in deplorable conditions and hasn't offered any financial compensation. Please DO NOT put your family through the misery!
After this company was contracted to shuttle concert goers outside of Atlanta, at 1:30 AM the driver pulls the bus over in the middle of nowhere on a road with no lights and threatened to leave us stranded if we did not pay him to continue. It was not the responsibility of the concert goers as he was paid by his company and the concert. Corrupt company. Buyer BEWARE!
As an employee since 2014 I have seen many changes. At the present time I am witnessing a great improvement. I hope we continue to give our best on all levels. Me as an employee to my customers as well as my commitment to my work ethic at Samson tours. From Samson Tours to their employees and to their customers both new and returning.
Waiting for buses to arrive that were to be at school at 8am to take 3rd grade students on a field trip. It is 8:42am and we are still waiting. Not very timely, will that school get a partial refund for time lost on an educational experience is what I want to know.
KoKo (Lakosha) was our FABULOUS driver for a student group trip to Atlanta for four days this spring. She was in constant contact with us, clear about where she was able to pick us up dropping pins, very accessible via phone and over text and was extremely flexible with our ever-changing itinerary. She was also fun to be around - a lovely bonus. I'd work with her again as our driver in a heartbeat and hope to again on our annual trek to Atlanta.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! My family had the unfortunate pleasure of riding a Samson Trailways bus chartered from Atlanta to DC and back. The air conditioner on one side of the bus went out and was never fixed. The bus was in DC for three days and the driver nor Samson Trailways felt the need to get the air conditioner fixed in 95+ degree heat. So, my family had to ride all the way back from DC to Atlanta with only one side of the bus being air conditioned - again in 95+ degree heat.
In addition to the broken air conditioner, the bathroom was deplorable and also not working! We had a family member to actually go to the store and buy bleach in an attempt to mask the horrible smell. This too was never fixed and my family had to ride to and from DC with a nonfunctioning bathroom.
The drivers (there were two) were notified of all the issues on the bus. One driver was extremely rude and nonchalant. The other driver attempted to rectify the air conditioner issue by requesting a bus change but that never happened.
BEWARE..the company has advised our family contacts that they will not issue a refund because they are NOT RESPONSIBLE for any mechanical issues with the bus per the contract.
Please do not use this company and I will be using the power of social media to warn other potential customers.
Professional, well-established company with courteous drivers make every trip a pleasure. We always call them well in advance to ensure we don't have to settle for second best. Use them for trips for school travel from here to competitions all over the country.
Samson is a great company to work with! They respond quickly to emails and phone calls. They offer fair prices. The drivers arrive on time and are very safe. If you are looking for a bus company, give them a call!
DO NOT USE SAMSON Trailways. My family Chartered the 55 passenger coach for our family reunion from Atlanta to DC for 4 days from the 21st of July 2016 to the 24th of July 2016. The temp outside was 98 to 103 each day. The air conditioner on the entire right side of the bus quit working on the way up in Greenville, SC. The driver said that he would have it checked when he get to DC... He never did. The toilet in the bus was never cleaned or serviced while we were in DC. If it was serviced it wasn't cleaned and was smelling terrible after a day or so. The best driver that the company claimed was so arrogant and has no people skills. He talk to you as if hehe really don't care what you report on him he has been there so long they are not going to believe you. We had one person with special needs on the bus that got so hot from the heat we had to make an emergency stop. We asked for a partial refund for not getting all the services that we paid for but I was told that they are not responsible for mechanical break downs and I signed the contract. So they really don't care. They had no problems getting paid up front. They had no problems cashing our check, but a company should reimburse us for services that are paid for but not rendered. I don't ask for refunds for satisfactory services but this company is not a place for anyone to charter a bus from. I asked to speak with the President of the company he sent a word back saying that he didn't have time to talk to me so as you can see... THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY AND TELL YOU TO LIVE WITH IT AND MAKE EXCUSES TO MAKE YOU think that it is your fault. But we will be contactacting Samson Trailways again through my attorney.

fifth grade field trip disaster.... 2/5 charter buses broke down and one of them was replaced with a school bus
Th lights didn t work and the AC was leaking Freon, but it got me from point A to point B without to many problems.
Can't fault an entire company because of the actions of an individual.
Chaperoned a school trip and the bus was disgusting, which is putting it nicely. Seats ripped, no A/C, some of the benches were tilted, some windows didn t open, no seatbelts. Awful!!

Our bus was very clean and so was the restroom. Our driver was excellent, helpful, courteous and a very careful driver! We will be doing business with Samson from now on!!!

I'm a driver here. This is mostly a family owned business. I've been working with them since 2014. I've seen a few changes some for good and others were not so much. I could however see why some changes were made. All in all I have enjoyed being of service to them.
My company used the services of Samson on August 15,2013 and were very pleased with the professionalism and outstanding personality of our driver, Lady D. She was AWESOME!!! We will request her again should we need transportation services in the future.

I worked with Samson Trailways recently when planning a fundraising trip. The company has excellent communications when securing your deposit & booking a chartered bus for you. Our bus driver was on time & very easy to work with. My only concern is the lack of attention to detail this company has. I was assured multiple times there would be an auxiliary port on the bus for an iPod. After calling to confirm a few weeks before the trip, I called 48 hours before the trip to reconfirm. I was explained by Tara these notes were in my file & maintenance would ensure my expectations were met. When the bus arrived, there was not an auxiliary port & I was unable to play the music I had downloaded onto a device for the day. This song list not only takes hours to create, I paid for the songs. My day long trip is a fundraiser where participants are having fun on the bus. Music is very important element I explained this from the very beginning. This experience was very discouraging as I had asked three times regarding the equipment on the bus & this expectation was not met. Also, the clock on the bus was not working. While it sounds small, this oversized clock would have been a useful tool. ATTENTION TO DETAIL. When you spend $1400 for a luxury chartered coach you expect the best when paying over $200 an hour. The following day I emailed Samson. They were apologetic & offered a mere 5% discount ON FUTURE TRAVEL~ $70. What a riot! A tip for the driver is almost double that. Seventy. Dollars. I'm done. I can't. I would avoid Samson Trailways in the future or use a last ditch resort.
