The hotel is very well located with its proximity to Times Square. The rooms are small but sufficient for two people. Unfortunately, there is little space for parking the suitcases. The bathroom was big enough, clean, the toilet but only with a sliding door separated from the sink, which in turn was only around the corner to the sleeping area.
The noise level was on the 11th floor very pleasantly low.
We can not judge the breakfast, as we had booked without.
Overall, the room service was OK, even if the resources unfortunately a bit wasteful. Opened shampoos and body lotion from the hotel are simply discarded (and partly not renewed), although there was something else in it, towels are replaced, even though they were not thrown on the floor.
Unfortunately, our maid three days before departure was thoroughly. So unfortunately things have been disposed of, which we had shopped over the days before and had parked in a grocery bag in the room.
However, the clarification of the facts was unfortunately somewhat lengthy and only through multiple inquiries we learned on the last day that we would get the discarded items by crediting one of the nights refunded. So we left again to do the shopping again.
Here we would have liked to have been taken more seriously and to have proactively informed about the further procedure by the staff.

Hearty and varied breakfast

Beautiful hotel! Staff was friendly, place was clean. Beautiful room. Only weird thing was that you need to use your room key to use the lights, and you can only use either all the lights or none. Not sure what that was about, but other than that, it was awesome!
As always, the people at the front desk were very welcoming and made check-in as pleasant as possible as a July evening in the sweltering sewer of New York City can be. Kudos as well to whoever maintains the HVAC system as I almost forgot the shoe-melting pavement in the arctic frost I was able to create in my room.
Torn wall paper, bed wasn't that great, draft from the door to the... I don't know what I would call it... A scary balcony? Or maybe just the top of the building jutting out below, which was covered in trash? Anyway, draft. Don't book it for the pool, especially with kids. Weird set up with the bar overlooking the pool, which may sound good but gives off a really kind of creeper vibe... but more to the point, they book it for private parties so you can rarely use it (closed 2 of 3 nights I was there). I got to to hear a party with a full on professional DJ playing at club volume until 1:30 in the morning on a week night. My bed was vibrating from the bass, and I could make out lyrics. It was actually that loud. Women were screaming, I assume as they jumped into the pool. All on a week night. I called down twice but no change in volume. I called a third time asking for a room on a higher floor but they were sold out. The party went on full blast until allll night. That night i was told "the best (they) could do was give (me) a free breakfast" which is exactly what the woman said when I went to check out and she asked about my stay. I got the feeling they give out a TON of free breakfasts to disappointed guests... Even without the party, I have no idea why this hotel is being rated so well. It's nothing special.
Great hotel. Stayed in an amazing room but the air con was super loud every time it started up during the night so had to turn it off and was far too hot. Receptionist was taking calls whilst checking me in which was a bit annoying as slowed down check in considerably.
Good location, friendly staff, but there are some little things that should not be happening.
The employees very nice, anything you would like to be disaffected by help, breakfast lots of quantity, varied, the hotel itself very clean, and nothing was missing from the bathroom, no matter what you wear, only your face creams, I put a 10 to everything, thanks for everything
Unbeatable and unforgettable. We stayed there on our honeymoon and they gave us a superior room to charge us the difference, a detail on such a special trip.
The location is the best there can be, the street flows into Times Square.
We are looking forward to returning to that special city that catches you as soon as you arrive.
The people at the reception very pleasant and immediately attending in Spanish without having to request it.
The location is unbeatable, a few meters from Times Square. Then the attention of all the staff is brilliant, they gave us fantastic recommendations and we even booked the contrasts tour with them. Another thing that is great is the WiMate, we were able to have free Wi-Fi throughout the city with the device they loaned us. In the hotel there is a heated swimming pool with a sauna, great for relaxing some afternoon.
The room is spacious and super clean. Hands down the best hotel in NYC
Very well placed hotel with very helpful staff. For French speakers there is Serge who will be able to help you if it is your first time in nyc. In short, I recommend! The most: the swimming pool, the sauna and the bar;)
A very central hotel. Maria, super nice. He advised us a lot. The treatment is very good but very good! Clean and modern room. Bed and very comfortable cushions.
Cute, clean boutique hotel that's wonderful for the price of $90/night. I booked through Hotel Tonight. The rooms as basically as pictured and the staff is absolutely fine. I would stay here again without question.
Really friendly staff. Nice boutique hotel. Great location for the New York sights. Would stay again
Hotel staff is nice, price is ok for the location. I like the European vibe and style but the shower has to be properly cleaned cause it had mold.
Nice staff clean and very well located ! Great breakfast !
Love this hotel! Beautiful rooms. Extremely clean. Fantastic staff, especially Julia at front desk. Everyone was eager to help. They will even allow you to check your luggage with them after you check out, if you have shopping to do. I will definitely stay here again. Walking distance to Times square.
Super central, very good treatment, good facilities
Excellent service and interesting rooms with a bar attached to the pool.
Affordable prices small rooms however the rooms were clean and set up nice!
Visited Room Mate Grace with my husband for his 50th Birthday. Received a complimentary room upgrade and a lovely bottle of fizz. 2 minute walk to Times Square, clean, quirky hotel with a good breakfast to start your day in New York. Would highly recommend.
Stayed here previously and the hotels location is perfect. 2mins from Time Square.
Phenomenal. Super central. Very careful services and first class staff. Very good attention
Very nice, not enough space in the rooms and beds too small but nice night club atmosphere for young people.
Hotel very well located, just 50 meters from Times Squeare and the most important avenues of New York.
The attention was very good, there were staff that spoke Spanish and in general they were very nice and helpful.
The room that we touched was not very big but it was good, the cleaning was correct too.
If you want to be in the center of New York, this hotel is a good option.
Lovely hotel. The staff were very friendly. The room was a good size, with one of the most comfortable bed's I have ever slept on.
Great location, just off Time Sq.
Would definitely stay again.
Rooms are tiny. Worse service from front desk and housekeepers. I would not stay in this hotel again for the price you pay the service is rubbish!
Our Hotel room, the junior suite, was very nice. We had a lot of issues with the water, we couldn't get cold water out of the faucet two different days which means they are very hot shower and no drinking water. The bar was one of the worst I've ever been to, while it was cute and clean, the bartender was not good. I ordered a French martini and it was awful! The rest of our party ordered drinks that should have been simple but room also subpar. The elevators small but quiet and available. We felt very safe at the hotel, but there was a lot of police activity in the lobby in the four days we were here. I'm not sure if it was the same guests causing issues or new ones each time. Overall I would definitely stay here again
Very good location, price in the average of that area for that category. Of those with the lowest rates. Times square 1 minute walk.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms were beautiful. The bathroom was incredible. Will be returning for sure
Very Friendly staff. Great location, this hotel was a great fit for our stay. Pool is a great addition. Breakfast is very reasonable and set us up well for the day. 3 star is an appropriate rating for the hotel but it's at the higher end of 3 stars. Will definitely return here.
Thanks to all the staff, especially Frankie, he could not have been more helpful on our arrival. NYC.
Ripoff! Go anywhere else. Customer service is a sham and they will scan you and not reply to emails.
Great location and value. No frills but generally nice and has some style.
with a lot of nostalgia I remember this fabulous hotel in the heart of new york. without a doubt one of the best hotels I have ever been. I have no doubt that when I can I will return. the best hotel.
We stayed here back in October. The room was lovely with good use of space and a pleasant place to arrive too. Our issue came when we realised that the party happening downstairs could be heard loud and clear in our room on the 3rd floor. Staff did reassure us it would finish soon, but no other room was available. Being that we'd just flown in and we're tired we put up with it even though it went on 2 hours more. With that out of the way we thought we would have a nice stay from that point on. Only to find the following evening there was another party. Being told the same info that no room was spare and it would finish early. We were not convinced of this so decided to cancel our booking and find a new hotel that night. For the amount we were paying we did not feel that this was acceptable and the offer of a free breakfast was not enough to offset the issue. The hotel did refund us for the nights we did not stay, but still charged us the full amount for the 2 spoilt nights. If this room is known to suffer from noise it should he stated pre booking and if a discount was offered to offset that with agreement of the customer might see the room more useable. I'm sure if we had been in a different room our stay would have been very different.
Awesome location coupled with a brilliant breakfast offering. Rooms are small but comfortable along with a really good shower.
Has a small gym and swimming pool but lost out on a a star as they closed it on a Saturday for a private party, which seems a bit dickish to advertise it to paying guests.
Price is expensive but it's time square, so what did you expect.
Room is too small and very $$ breakfast is not even included in the deal. Pool and spa are good though.
Great customer service. The rooms are very funky and cute. The breakfast was excellent! The hotel does not have valet parking! The rooms are very small.
Really nice hotel at waling distance from Times Square.
Pool is quite small but its a nice bonus. Rooms are clean and beds are confortable. Breakfast is quite good and available until 12!
Great location. Rooms are reasonable for the amount of money you pay. Great breakfast.
I recently arrived from my trip to New York, I stayed at this hotel and I was delighted. The rooms are perfect, quiet, very comfortable bed and very clean. The breakfast very good and the staff lovely. Always available for any need you may raise. Very friendly, nice and helpful. A ten for them. I hope Miss Deniese, a breakfast worker, will take an example from her colleagues and cheer the beginning of the clients' day with a smile.
My sister stayed here on one occasion when she came to visit the city. The rooms here are beautiful! They have a pool too!
An excellent choice for tourism in the heart of Manhattan. Great location, but also quiet and well isolated, which is rare for New York. A little extra: the pool and the sauna!
Quiet room, eclectic decor, well priced, friendly staff, 1/2 block from Times SQ. Would stay again.
Super recommended. The price is somewhat high but it is worth it without a doubt. The bed is very comfortable, no, the following. Spacious room (for what the hotels in this city have been). The staff are polite, friendly and helpful.
In addition, the hotel has services and surprises you with details that leave you with your mouth open.
When I return to NYC, because I will return, I will not worry about looking for another accommodation.
Well, spacious and complete bathrooms. Well located. The room that has touched us lacks a desk (the space could be better taken advantage of). Breakfast is good for what NY is.
Fantastic location, steps from Times square. Rooms are small (It's NY!) but comfortable. Staff is great and security is high. Will be back again.
The return policy of non-refundable reservations, which your establishment is carrying out in the face of the situation we are suffering worldwide, is very bad. I have demanded the return of the amount of the reservation that I have for the month of July, and the only thing that I receive are evasive and long, without a clear answer.
They must remember that if their priority is the well-being of the clients, it is not only in words, but also in deeds, and at the moment everything remains in beautiful words.
It is a shame that American companies have understood the situation and have reimbursed the amounts of the reserves, and this company that is Spanish (in theory) does not respond to requests from Spanish people.
Cannot say enough good things about this place.location, price, staff(amazing staff),room, beds. This place was on times square and you could not hear a thing when you need to sleep.
Great location, friendly staff.
Bathroom could have been cleaner (still hair in the shower...) And room not enough isolated (could hear any noise from corridor or room next door
This is the third time we have chosen the Room Mate Grace and we are once again delighted with our stay.
Ideally located hotel near Times Square. The swimming pool is nice to relax in after a day of walking.
This small hotel is just if Broadway and a perfect location to stay if going to a show. When you arrive there is a strange musty smell that appears to be caused by the pool. The pool is unique because it is visible to everyone at the bar and people waiting for the elevator. I was able to upgrade my room for a reasonable price. The ladies at the front desk were nice and helpful. Parking was$30 and only about a block away. The decor is dark and kind of trippy. I didn't mind it. The room was clean and perfect for our needs and had a refrigerator but no Ice bucket. I would stay here again because of its location and its funkiness.
Perfect location, charming treatment, nice and quiet room, a fair amount of space.
Competitively priced hotel in a great location near to Times Square. The rooms were very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Was an overall good experience! The bar was nice, the pool water was cold but nothing that can't be handled, the housekeeper open the room door without knocking in the door. Stuff was really nice
A beautiful hotel with an original and surprising decoration, located close to Times Square, in a street however quiet.
The staff is charming.
The most indisputable of this establishment: the free availability of a Wifi player to be permanently connected throughout New York.
The least: a more than random internet connection in the rooms and a reasonably priced breakfast.
My girlfriend and I walked into this hotel (where weve stayed before) to see the renovations and ask about availability for the night, however, before we could do this an extremely rude staff member approached us as soon as we walked in (not asking if he could help us at all) and let us know we were not welcome, saying, you cannot just walk into a hotel where you are not staying. Well thank you sir, we won t br staying here again in the future.
Very comfy bed, water pressure in shower was good and was like rainfall. The staff was very friendly and helpful, we got there too early to check in, but they held our bags for us so we didn't have to carry them around. No complaints.
Stayed for a bestfriends bday and Loved the ambiance of the hotel! Very chill and low key. I enjoyed the pool with the walk-in bar and the buy 1 drink get 1 free was a good deal. The music was good as well! Would definitely like to stay again.
Nice big room (for NYC) very close to times square. Everything was clean and fairly modern.
An excellent hotel to stay around Times Square in NYC. The hotel is chamoso, unobtrusive and has a delicious breakfast. No noise, the staff is very competent. We arrived at 9am and there was a room available. And we were able to negotiate a late checkout at no cost. Going back to NYC I will stay there again!
Had a good stay, close to Times Square. Staff was nice and helpful. Housekeeping was good.
One problem though..
I went down to the bar, thinking it was gonna be good, and it was a train wreck. I got charged $28 for horribly made drinks. 2 drinks that were WAYYY too overpriced. I mean i know your in NYC, but $28 bucks is ridiculous. A jack and coke and sex on the beach. Bartender wasnt friendly and he doesnt know how to make drinks. Both drinks were made so strong and had barely any ice in them.
Really disappointed. Everything else was good, except the stupid bar.
Great hotel Modern. Good the rooms. Very attentive staff Indoor swimming pool. Good breakfast.
Every time I do a staycation in NYC with my kids we have always stayed at the Grace! The children love the indoor heated pool and I have no complaints about the cleanliness and location of this hotel. My last stay which was 2 weeks ago I realized my husband had left my hair dryer. I called maybe an hour after leaving the hotel. I got the run around for about a week and then was told they did not have it, This was disappointing to me. As a hotel, I think it s location is perfect and clean.
A lot of kindness Comfortable and impeccable room. Good breakfast. Free Wi-Fi throughout the city, very useful.
Nice room, good beds. Top location! Friendly staff. Small swimming pool, gym and swimming pool to start or end the day.
Best Midtown hotel I've ever stayed . Excellent staff!!!
Good experience.
Although the rooms are quite small, the hotel offers a lot of practical services, the staff is very welcoming and at your service.
The decoration is quite original but very exotic.
The hotel is in a great location, right next to Time Square but on a street with a lot of noise.
Several bars and restaurants are right next to the building.
Great hotel in the centre of New York. Friendly staff and spacious rooms. Highly recommended.
Went here for a business reunion and this location is nice... centric and for budget traveler is ok
This is a tiny as$ hotel there is no way to even take an actual swim in this water mind u I came for the pool my room is like a queen bed in a walk in closet - great for minimalist if you like lack of storage and elbow room #pullup it s clean and basic af but I expect that nothing amazing about this hotel the gym is another closet boyfriend couldn t even barely stand up right ceilings in the gym are not even 6.5 feet - umm cheap excursion if your jus gonna be doing activities but not for a stay cation I literally have more room and luxury in my own bedroom good luck swimming the 1st night it was closed for an event that was streaming into my room better than the Wifi especially in the bathroom which has a weird echo these rooms are not sound proof - snug petite whimsical even the stripes in the hall confuse your eyes like a silly Willy wonka optical illusion
I would only stay here like if others were sold out or if I wasn t gonna spend much time in my room if I m completely honest- I m writing this review as I sit waiting for the teeny tiny pool to open along with two. Anxious white women oh wait here comes a third set in my mind I m like there is no way we can all fit in here certainly not gonna be able to do a lap in this pool which isn t bigger than the square footage of my room there are special ed classrooms bigger matter fact there are u hauls bigger than this pool 10 minutes passed the hour and no sign of them opening it I m annoyed
*** update waiting over an hour it s 10 am the pool is still ice cold they said we can go In but the chemicals are still being pumped into it so it s just a waste Of my time at this point don t come here
Walking, in 2 'you are in Time Square, small breakfast, but fabulous, very clean room, very friendly staff. Without a doubt, we will return
Great place to be in NYC. Good location and they are very welcoming. Great quiet rooms. Great bathrooms and free breakfast bar.
Not good service and loud voice while im sleeping they wake me up by laughing in loud voice i asked them to be quite while people sleeping
Idont recommend any body to book in this hotel
First time I came was for my husband's birthday and had excellent service , staff was very polite and friendly. So I came again for my birthday they actually gave me an upgrade. And my experience was even better. Staying in this hotel was so relaxing having an indoor pool during cold weather was GENIUS with a bar and sauna and work out room. I would definitely make this my hotel too stay every time I go too the city .
Quiet hotel, very well located 1 minute from Time 's Square. Spacious and comfortable rooms. To recommend.
Recently stayed here. All the staff were very polite, friendly and professional. The next day, I realized I left my iPad in the room after checking out. I called the hotel, housekeeping had found it and it was promptly mailed back to me. I am extremely grateful to the honest and kind hotel staff. I would certainly stay here again. Thank you!
A good hotel, the most are the breakfast, the small rooms cosys and especially the super central location (without loving time square)
The cocktails at the bars are not bad at all.
