Their burgers taste great. Serves potatoes as well which tastes nice too. It is not cheap though.
Nice campsite! Small but very neat and nice places for the camper! Nicely set up.
Would definitely come here again
This is a sweet park close to Whistler village. Fairly spacious sites in our loop (H) with trees for nice shade. The bike/walking trail goes right by here so we can ride bikes to the village alongside the river, or around the golf course and lake. It's so beautiful! A gem of a place
We loved our yurt! Cozy, cute, and very clean. Found the location very convenient and the staff very friendly! Can't wait to go back!
Great breakfast. Good is good and staff is very nice. Might be due to busy hours but it took a bit too long to just get some eggs and toast on the table.
Great campground and a cheap alternative to staying in overpriced whistler hotels.
Excellent team.
Great location.
Perfect camp ground.
Terrible and dangerous railing , potential fatal fall hazard for children.
We had to leave early because of the potential danger to our 2 year child.
We have camped here with our tent. The places have a lot of shade. Too bad you can't park the car at the tent. $ 1 for a 5 minute shower, plumbing was clean. There are many cycling and walking tours available from the campsite. The girls at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, helped us patiently with booking the boat to Vancouver island and finding a nice walk.
We recently spent one night in the tent area of this campground. The resort is close to Whistler amenities, parks, riding trails, nature trails, and Green Lake. There is plenty of access to drinking water, clean bathrooms, and a dishwashing station. The campground itself is a bit dark, even in the daytime, but the trails are lit at night. The staff leave a bit to be desired, like they may have never had a job before this one. All in all, it's a nice campground, if a bit expensive (over $50 for an unserviced tent site for one night) and we'd probably stay again while passing through. Oh, by the way, have you heard about BEAR COUNTRY? Did you know that Whistler is in BEAR COUNTRY? Because if you didn't, you'll know all about BEAR COUNTRY! and being BEAR AWARE! by the time you leave.
Excellent location clean and quiet good mix of people. Check out lost lake for an easy walk or free shuttle number 8 from whistler village good swimming but take refreshments easy walk to Whistler
Terrible service.
I reserved 4 nights at the park and my deposit was accepted. One day before my scheduled arrival I received a phone call that the park cannot receive me due to the fact that I am not a resident of BC. This is due to their Covid-19 policies which they failed to post of their booking Website. This put me in awful situation given middle of tourist season and weekend when all other campgrounds in the vicinity were already full.
The location is great but maintenance is poor if you are coming with a trailer. Sites are not fully cleared of snow. Long term residents let their dogs roam free which leads to dog feces everywhere. Some areas of the campground smell of feces. Bathroom at the back of the campground was not very clean. The overall feel is a dilapidated campground that allow for with snow-covered cars, site full of trash and bottles, and one with an abandoned refrigerator next to the trailer. Loved this campground when it was under previous management. Not sure if I would return.
I ve never seen such an dirty campground!
This is a brazenness!
The bathroom was not cleaned for full FOUR days!
Also for such a huge price for a night I would expect free showers. Wrong. 1$ per 4min medium warm low pressure shower.
All in all disappointing.
I just read a number of negative reviews about the Riverside Resort, so I though that I would chime in with a positive one. We have been staying at this resort every summer for over 6 years with our daughters. We drive up from Seattle, pulling our 16' camper. The campsites are nicer that what I have experienced at almost every other RV park, but it still is an RV park. I once saw a gentlemen get irate that it wasn't more natural. There is a river on one side and the road to Pemberton on the other, with power lines overhead. It's not like it is supposed to be some campground in a national park, and even those are crowded and have no services. Once we park and set up, we never drive the car again until we depart, because the Valley bike trail is right behind us. We ride out bikes everywhere. The small store is convenient and the Riverside Cafe serves amazing food. We eat breakfast there every morning. It is one of the local's secret places to eat. Try staying anywhere else in Whistler for this price and this convenience. Yes, the wifi is poor, but you are supposed to be camping and enjoying the outdoors! I would happily suggest that people stay here and can not wait to return again next summer with my family.
If you camp with a tent you get your own personal space .. its right beside a super bright blue river and its jusy gorgeous
Handy to town. Free shuttle or about 45min walk into town
Dirty, impersonal, overpriced campsite. Despite the complaint, the bathroom was not cleaned, but you even have to pay extra for the shower.
Extremely rude employees, no consistency with policies, impossible to deal with and all I wanted to do was give them lots of money to stay there for they ENTIRE winter, close to 1100$ a month.. do not book here. unbelievable.
Campground ok, clean, wifi works great, but it does not justify the price of $ 75 a night by far the most expensive campground in BC
The most expensive camp for a month of travel. Places nice and neat, but: staff unpleasant, for 67 C $ you then pay for a hot dirty shower $ 1 5min. Seriously?
We came for breakfast. There was only 1 person working (taking orders, payment and cooking), so service was pretty slow. Food was ok.
Excellent location and clean. Beautiful bathrooms with free showers.
It is clean, secured and just cross the bridge from Vancouver, one of the most beautiful in the world
Awful service, no customer service, bad facilities do not book at riverside resort
We've been here 3 times already this summer season and have enjoyed every stay so far. Great location and very accessible to the village and amenities by foot, bike or car. They offer complimentary shuttle during select hours. Clean sites from tenting, RV, yurts and cabins. Washrooms are always clean. Free WiFi with moderately good signal.
Its a little bit far walking and the yurks are also far walking from the main entrance, you dont have private restrooms. If you are planning on coming with a group of friends then its good because then you will save a lot
Very nice RV park with high prices. Showers cost $ 1 for 7 minutes.
This RV park is far from a "Resort" as they call themselves. Wifi is udder garbage therefore rendering it usless if you are planning on getting work done or streaming TV shows.the showers odly cost money and are not at all clean.
Do not go here if you are looking for a prolonged stay if you will need to get work done because the wifi connectivity is trash.
Bathrooms are very clean and the yurts are nice. Customer service falls very short. We booked a yurt and were placed near a service road that had traffic rerouted for all spa guests due to construction. There were cars and people coming and going all day. At night they ran a loud generator for giant spot lights for the spa guests. Management did not warn us about the extra noise while booking. No mention on their website either. Management offered to move us to a quiter spot for a $150 relocation fee. No thanks I won't be spending any more money here. Also you need a token to take a shower ( which at $150 a night for yurt guests is ridiculous) but of course you can only get the token from the office when they aren't closed. Here's an idea use real coins. The spa also used a gas powered golf cart to move guests back and forth every 5 minutes so the air was sweet with the smell of exhaust . It's exactly how I imagined a weekend in the mountains, thanks Riverside!
Completely overpriced, impersonal place.
Whistler as a whole still believes to be the venue of the Olympic Games. Mainly something for the top 10,000.
Not the best campsite on our RV trip from Calgary to Vancouver Island and Vancouver! High price, and thus high expectations, but very disappointing. No nice staff, bad place (H4, although all H places are not really nice) adjacent to a parking lot with power lines passing above and finally 2 showers out of order. Last but not least a very slow and unstable wifi, our worst experience of all campgrounds with wifi!
A great place to stay when you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the village. Very quiet, within walking distance to the spa, Yurts were fun to stay in, clean and washrooms were clean. Staff was friendly and enjoyed to occasional visit from our concierge squirrel who checked up on us to say hello.
Not a good campsite.
Much too expensive and dirty toilets!
The pitches for campers are tight and there is little privacy.
The WiFi coverage and the dumping station are positive.
The location is relatively close to Whistler. A hiking trail leads (40 min) to the center of the city.
A more affordable way to do Whistler. Has mini golf and a 25 min walk along a well marked path to the main stroll in Whistler village
Pitches actually nicely located, unfortunately not leveled. In walking distance to whistler. Very expensive !!
Best breakfast in Whistler, we go every week. Staff are great and food is perfect every time.
This place just has sooooo much potential! Excellent location, beautiful surroundings, cute little yurts but unfortunately this place was just not clean at all.
The bathrooms were really, really dirty it made me feel physically sick and our yurt hadn't even been swept! There was rubbish all down the side of the bed and all over the floor.
Honestly, if they got in a gave everything a REALLY good scrub it would be a nice place to stay.
I just can't get past how disgusting the bathrooms were. I have camped and stayed in hostels with shared bathrooms all over the world and this is by far the worst I've seen.
The food at the cafe was quite reasonable and very delicious
Stayed in the upper teir. Very quiet. Bike trails 20 feet from the campsite and under 10 minute ride to the villiage.
Very clean restrooms and shower facilities! (And free showers!)
Second year at Riverside with the trailer after 6 years in a hotel in the villiage... will definitely be going bacck to Riverside.
Nice restaurant for breakfast and lunch with great food!!
We were on the top floor if I remember correctly. The room was very clean, the balcony was very clean which was a surprise because usually places are dirty . My overall experience
Friends stayed here we all went to the spa up the hill
Beautiful. A little expensive, nature, concept of living in nature.
Everything as usual was great, except I wish when you book using the map (even if you specify in the comments) you could get the site you actually requested!
The cabins are super cute and stuff is incredibly helpful and nice. Nice playground for kids. We came once in a winter and once in summer and loved it both times! Keep it up!
Multi-use sites are gravelled with picnic table, fire pit, water, and power outlets. Staff are friendly, but professional. 5 stars.
Beautiful little cabins. Close to EVERYTHING, but still far enough away to make you feel like you are out of the city. Super friendly staff. Recommend to anyone who needs a quiet weekend.
A large campsite, shower fee and not always clean, the toilets are often in poor condition. It has a nice mini golf course, but the pitches are on top of each other, and everything is concrete ...
I would only give this campground 5 stars for its proximity to Whistler. The campground itself has everything you need except space and privacy. We selected a site based on the equipment we had but were given a site that was much smaller and difficult to fit into. Not a nice start to the trip.
Clean, spacious, private, and well maintained rv sites. Would book again.
Beautiful resort for RVs and tent campers. It's a 5 minute drive to the village but there's also a bike trail from the resort to the village. The washrooms are relatively clean and have showers.
The tent sites are well maintained and provide water and power. AND THERE'S WIFI!! It works pretty well although I noticed it fluctuates during the night.
I had a great stay at this resort and would definitely come again!
Big campground, good space.
A bit expensive for camping
Neat (small) campsites, large campground, therefore not personal and very expensive.
Great location, nice park, clean but staff was discombobulated.
First RV camping. Great camp site: clean, well maintained, and helpful staff. Only thing is that the side of the camp site is not very spacy
Nice place, walking distance to village or easy to get a cab
Not a bad place. Our site was a little small. Could barely put 2 chairs and a small table just outside our rig. It blocked our walking path if we wanted it out.
Very close to whistler, nice facilities and accommodating staff.
super cute - close to whistler/black... shuttle service to ski area! once you are here - go 2 alpine meadow - right into alpine coffee!
Cozy camping with friendly staff. Fresh showers and toilets.
A nice river side campground, with a cafe and other amenities.
Yurts to flee - very noisy because of the highway all night, but also non-stop helicopters next door during the day. Sanitary not far but not very clean.
I it was awesome there they had a spa and a lounge were you could get snacks and board games and they have little cabins and yet.
Worst booking cancellation experience we've ever had. You won't see a dime of your full payment (which they deceptively call a deposit) back if you have to cancel even 13 days out. They then give the site to someone else, profiting twice over. Pretty ruthless and rude in their response. This is so unlike other campsites we've ever been to.
Beautiful camp ground for tent camping. It's walk in, but there are wheelbarrows available to carry your gear if needed. There arent a lot of washrooms so pick your spot before you go and pay for it.
Everything about this place is just great. Plenty of parking available, nice staff, the view. There is also a little creek near the main building which contains water from Green Lake and bbq/picnic areas everywhere. There are spas and restaurants nearby and all facilities are great. The ONLY thing thats not so great was the wifi, very unstable, automatically disconnects you as soon as you lock your phone, so you do have to log back in frequently into their wifi. But other than that, its a great place! I lived in log cabin 3 so here are some pictures.
Very Frustrating to deal with. The terms of agreement is a legal contract and Riverside refused to uphold their own refund policy and visa had to referee the return of my 550 dollars.Without visa intervening i would have been bullied out of my deposit .Parkside did not honour their own reservation booking terms. The staff was extremely unhelpful, disrespectful and standoffish. The front desk emails were unprofessional and they did not return any of my phone calls. Email record keeping is a must with this company. The staff are dishonest and I would have been without resolve had i not kept emailed correspondence.
