When taking your car to the dealership for servicing there is an expected level of quality of service that I did not receive at this dealership. James Woods did not provide appropriate updates on the the status of my car in a timely manner and my car was not ready at the time stated. A simple phone call or text message providing an update goes a long way. Communication is a very important in professionalism. I should not have to hunt you down to receive that!!! In addition, He lied to my daughter at 9am about the car being ready by 12pm. A simple phone call to state that additional time was needed would have avoided me taking the day off work. Upon arriving to dealership the car was still not ready and the service manager refused to acknowledge my complaint...by far the worst experience I ve received.
We tried to lease a Chevy Spark EV and went in on a Sunday afternoon. We were told that a competitors price quote would be honored. They said that they would "Meet or beat every competitors price". We didn't have time to finish the paperwork that evening, so returned the next day. They wanted to increase the price by more than 20% from the previous day's price. After we mentioned that they had agreed to the competitor's price the previous day, they reneged. Bottom line: Don't trust them to honor their price agreements until you have it in writing. Addendum: I will note that while Singh Chevy did not honor their agreement, they were upfront about their increase in price. Gosch Chevy (see review there), just tried to lie about it.

I understand I'm paying more but I really wish they would tell you if it's going to be 3 or 4 days to even look at it. Maybe I could have just made an appointment and came back when it was my turn. I wasn't broken down and did explain it was my primary vehicle. And then of course when you call there's no one to speak to...

UPDATE: The Sales Manager contacted me today about my experience and after explaining situation he gave me the Nano Clean for free and kept my lower interest rate as well. I was impressed with their quick handling of the situation but still rather peeved that it happened in the first place. I will probably go back for future needs but I will not deal with the same finance guy again. I really enjoyed my Salesman David he was fantastic, gave me exactly what I asked for and didn't spend hours haggling over pennies, but I did not like the finance guy I dealt with. He claimed he gave me the Nano Clean for free because I leased my previous car from Riverside Chevy and because my Dad was a veteran but once I looked over the paperwork he did not. He got me a lower interest rate and added on the Nano clean so my payment would be the same. I purposely told him I was not interested in any add on's but he made the decision to add it on unilaterally and I'm assuming thought I wouldn't notice. This kind of underhanded dealing will make me most likely go elsewhere as I do not trust your finance department at all at the moment.

We came prepared with the vehicle we wanted and David helped us find the best trim for our needs. Davien was attentive to our budget and helped us find the best financing option to fit our desired payment. They also went above and beyond to help me, my wife and our 3 kids under the age of 4 move our stuff from our trade in to our new car. Everyone provided great customer service.

Brian's customer service was fantastic. He help me understand and explained what service I needed on my car. There was a long wait but I was constantly updated on the process with my car. I had a terrible experience at Moss Bros in Moreno Valley, I refused to go back. I'll rather drive 20 minutes to Riverside. Moss Bros needs to take notes because they definitely lost a customer.

***UPDATE*** The manager called my husband yesterday after seeing my husband's reviews. They were very surprised with how we were treated and very apologetic. They wanted to make it right. After going chatting a little bit, the manager was able to come back to my husband and give us the original deal we wanted. We went in, met with Joseph Gotti - by far one of the nicest salespersons I've ever dealt with (and he didn't know what we went through until after). The truck was ready, the papers were ready. Everyone that helped us last night was amazing! They definitely wanted to make it right and I appreciate what they did for my husband! Tony & Joseph - thank you for what you did! The salesman we worked with started out fine. Then after running some numbers we decided to proceed. He came back after taking our information and had us start signing paperwork. Without knowing what was really going on, my husband asked if we were approved. He looked a little confused and surprised. He said, "I assumed your credit scores were 700" so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. He had us start signing before we were officially approved! And who says that, I assume your scores were 700s?! Very unprofessional. At this point, he stepped away to get the approval, I assume as he didn't say. He came back with payments far higher than we wanted. We went back and for a little bit and finally we came to an agreement and settled on something my husband and I were ok with. After some time, he brought out some more paperwork to sign including my credit report as our scores were not 700 so obviously the rate & payment were affected. The salesman then proceeded to tell us that the reason we weren't getting a better payment was my fault. He kept saying it was because of this and its my fault. He never asked what happened or anything, made me feel like I was trash or something. It was extremely rude and unprofessional. He tried to explain an alert on my credit report, but he didn't seem to understand himself, so I don't think he understood himself. Turns out he ran the wrong social security number and that set off the alert he was talking about. I wanted to leave but we decided to wait it out as the salesman kept telling us he was just waiting for the "green arrow" because they were trying to clear the alert. We figured it was already about 3hrs. But once again, he was wrong and after that was cleared he came back to tell us we were then waiting on a tier exception that he previously told us he already had. Not to mention he told us we wouldn't need that as he reduced the price of the truck. He was all over the place, saying one thing and then another, didn't try to explain anything to us. I told him we had never leased before hoping he might explain the difference between that and financing and nothing. I asked if we could buy the lease out and he said sure but wait 6 mos. When I asked why, he just said i tell people to wait 6 mos. Ok? After another hour, it turns out he had never gotten the exception approved and finally he came back and said, "they didn t approve the exception and so were back at the old payment amount". At this point after having been lied to repeatedly I was done. We asked for our documentation and left. He apologized but it was a joke. Now we both have a hard inquiry on my credit report because he had no idea what he is doing. His name was George. There was soo much more that I could go into but really how long of a review do I need to write for you to realize this is not the place you want to go to buy a new vehicle - it was a total nightmare!

Orlando the salesman I dealt with was very honest and upfront with everything! The process unfortunately took awhile with financing but otherwise great experience.
I've had multiple cars serviced here and it's always been done relatively quickly. Even brought it in after having a overheating problem the way to work one morning and got it back same day.
I took my car to get fixed and they had it ready the very next day !

I don t RECOMMEND purchasing a vehicle at Chevrolet of Riverside, unless you want to get ripped off. My father went in with his old work truck (which had a rack on it), it was a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500. He let the sales department know he was in need of a new WORK truck. Chevrolet of Riverside got him into a new 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 with 5,000 miles. My father purchased an extended warranty, as well as gap. Forward to 7/18/2020 and 97,000 miles and the transmission went out. Upon taking in the vehicle back to Chevrolet of Riverside for repair, we were informed that the warranty doesn t cover the repair because the vehicle is being used as a commercial vehicle. Derrek, from Sales informed him that the Finance Department had made a TINY mistake when filling out our paperwork. Finance forgot to check the box for commercial warranty as the vehicle that was sold was intended for commercial use. Now, although they have admitted that it was their mistake, they want my father to pay $6,000 to repair/replace the transmission, or he can purchase a new truck (which they will make a profit on). MY FATHER SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE MADE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR INCOMPETENT MISTAKE, HE CLEARLY INFORMED THE DEALERSHIP THAT THE TRUCK WAS FOR COMMERCIAL USE, THEY FAILED TO CHECK THE BOX THAT STATED THE VEHICLE WAS FOR COMMERCIAL USE AND NEEDED WARRANTY FOR A COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. Chevrolet of Riverside is REFUSING TO TAKE RESPONSIBILITY for THEIR MISTAKE. On 9/9/20 I called to speak with the Customer Relations Manager (CRM) but, I was informed by the operator that they don t have a CRM after being told they were busy the first time around. On 9/10/20 I was told once again they don t have a CRM and was transferred to Tony Bozarth the General Sales Manager. Tony, said he would look into the matter and get back to me. At this point my father has decided to take legal action because this is affecting his lively hood, he has been without his work truck for over a month. Tony argued that just because the vehicle was going to be used for work it didn t mean it was for commercial use. The personnel at Chevrolet of Riverside should be trained not to speculate that a truck that is purchased specifically for work is not for commercial use. It is ridiculous that after almost 2 months Chevrolet of Riverside is still not taking responsibility and has not resolved this issue. It is even more ridiculous that they expect their customers to be held responsible and pay for the mistake of their personnel, even after they admitted it was their mistake. If you still decide to purchase a vehicle at Chevrolet of Riverside that is intended for commercial use and purchase an extended warranty, make sure they sell you the correct warranty so you don t have to go through this ordeal as well. All this Dealership cares about making money, they have proven they don t care about their customers.

They wouldnt sell me the car that was on sale cuz they wanted me to finance w the and charge extra fees. Since I had my own financing. They didnt want to sell. Wasted my entire day. What a scam. Well my car is leaking oil now. Have to bring it back on my day off again. Manager on Sunday the 26th when we called said to bring it in and they would give me a car and take care of it. Also to see Mike the guy who helped us get the car. So we will see. What should happen is you bring me a car and take my car and fix it, so I don't really have to be inconvenienced.
Called twice to speak with someone in the service department. First call was at 8:15 am. The second call was at 12:10 pm. My calls were transferred and all I got was a ringing sound for about a minute or so...both times. A third call to the dealership to complain and the call was transferred to the owner/president, Mr. King. Guess what...his phone just rang and rang and rang. Only the 'switchboard' operator and first rep in the dealership, Maria, were the only 2 people capable of answering their phones. Was a good place when it was owned by the Singh family. Will have to take my truck someplace else to get repairs done. Can't even get 'lip' service from them. If I could, would have given them only a half a star. Bought a couple of cars there when it was DeAnza Chevrolet...the good old days.

I previously had an issue at the service department. I spoke with Mr Noori. He apologized it had happened and corrected the problem. He went the extra step and provided extra service. The Service Dept has been easy to work with and timely in getting it done.
Where's Matt, the Internet Sales Manager, I can't believe you guys let such a great guy go. I recently purchase a used vehicle from Riverside Chevy on January 30,2018 on February 8th 2018 the vehicle was totaled out my insurance company paid for it. Called Manny in finance he told me I could come down and get another vehicle so he hooked me up with sales rep David Del-La_Mancha had the worst experience ever with this guy. He was a straight weirdo. I tried to purchase another used vehicle he told me I didn't qualify for so he stated he could get me in a new vehicle 2018 Chevy cruse.I had never saw the vehicle in person before so I asked if it could fit 3 car seat due to the fact I'm a mother of 3 he stated yes. I stay by Cal-state San Bernardino had to call a LYFT driver and had to pay 46$ to get to the dealership just to test drive a car that was entirely to small. He wanted me to stay why he sat there and gave me the run around waisting my valuable time because I stated I needed a full size sedan. Just as I was leaving he tried to get me approved for an old ass Toyota Camry car note 357. So I left went 2 car dealership over to Riverside Kia and I got approved for a brand new 2018 Kia Optima with zero miles 370 car note 100000 mile warranty best service ever. If your in the market for a new car don't waste your time at Riverside Chevy they do bad business and they don't care about your family Go to Riverside Kia, go get yourself a new car it will be worth it in the long run. I heard Chevy's break down anyways.
