Tom, the service manager, was very professional,and did a great job in replacing my pool heater and motor.I highly recommend him for pool service.I would recommend Riverbend Sandler Pools to anyone considering a pool build or needing service work done,

We experienced substantial damage to our roof and pool decking during one of the massive hail storms earlier this year. Our insurance company suggested a specific roofer act as the General Contractor for all repairs. This GC initially wanted to go with another pool contractor to tear out our deck and replace it with hand seeded aggregate. It took more than a little convincing to get them to agree to use Riverbend (they installed the pool years ago and maintain it for me) but I pushed the issue, and pushed hard. I'm glad I did. Riverbend did an outstanding job. They completely demolished the old decking, replaced it with new, and while at it replastered the pool (not part of the insurance claim). I could not be more pleased with the end results. The Riverbend team, from Rick Morton to Bruce Scovern to the new kid Robert, clearly take pride in what they do. My requirements, I think, are not unrealistic - do the job as though you were working on your own property. That's what they did. While the demo crew was here, so was Bruce. While the plasterers were here, so was Bruce. Both Bruce and Robert exceeded my expectations by a sizable mark.

You're reading this because you are thinking of building a new pool, having your pool refurbished, or having someone maintain your pool. Riverbend may not be the least expensive but consider this; you are going to have someone tear up your yard with heavy equipment and disrupt your life to a large degree. Seems to me you want the best. Go with Riverbend and tell Bruce I said hi.

Riverbend Sandler Pools is an amazing pool building company. Everyone in the office and on the field is incredibly nice and knowledgeable. I ve enjoyed working with them and would recommend business with them.

Horrible customer service. Had them come out to service and clean our pool filter. They where great at identifying an issue and after our warranty services said they wouldn't fix the issue, we asked for them to order the part. Here we are 5 days later, called to see where we are in the part being replaced, THE PART WASNT ORDERED.

Riverbend Sandler Pools did a very good job of re-plastering my pool. It made my 16-year-old pool look brand new again. The service we received was excellent, very professional, from the office staff to the skilled workers. I wouldn't hesitate to use Riverbend again or recommend them to a friend.

Like many on this app, we chose Riverbend Sandler to build our pool/hot tub. Again like many others on here the process early on was fabulous. Matt was great during the sales process. James A was terrific during the build. We were extremely happy until the end.
After filling the pool one night we noticed a blueish purple haze in the pool when the lights were in. The plaster is splotchy in areas. We brought it to the attention of Riverbend Sandler at first they helped with stain kits. Nothing worked. Now 6 months later they say it is the shadowing from our lights. That nothing can be done. The funny thing is the the stains only show when the lights are set to one color.
All in all I would think twice about employing Riverbend honestly. This for us was a 60k+ investment. If I had it to do again I would research and choose someone that has better reviews beginning to end! That is not Riverbend Sandler!

We hired Riverbend last year to build our pool. When compared to other companies, I'd say their designer didn't just take what we asked for and built us a plain pool. They took time and personalized it based on asking us questions and showing us pictures of what we liked and what we didn't like. Construction only took 8 weeks and was done with quality and consistent updates from James, the project manager. James was amazing and I would recommend him for your effort as well. Overall, great experience that exceeded our expectations.

Riverbend Sandler just built our pool and everyone from Alex Jarrard s design to James Antonio s project management did a fabulous job. We couldn t be happier with the pool design and build.

Our pool project finished a few months ago and we have been thoroughly impressed!! We started off with Todd who really was amazing in his creative design of our pool. His vision was completely different from what we had envisioned but when we saw his proposal we fell in LOVE!
We were so lucky to get an amazing project manager with Cristian Guzman! He went above and beyond to keep us informed and comfortable every step of the way through construction phase. Most importantly he was prompt and thorough with communication. I would text him odd hours with various questions and he always did everything he needed to make sure problem was resolved and my concerns settled. Even though there were hiccups along the way... which is inevitable when you do such a big project.. the professionalism and integrity shown by Cristian and others with Riverbend was impressive. Would highly recommend if you are looking to build your dream pool like we were!

Had a pump motor for about 8 to 10 years that worked perfect. They came out and replaced it because we wanted to get a new one. The new one broke a year after they installed it, they did fix it because it was under warranty. BUT it s now been two years and it s broken again and they re wanting to charge us to put a new one in because this one is supposedly out of warranty. Same story with a capacitor on our other pump they replaced as well.
Done with you Sandler !

If you are looking to build a pool ... look no further! Riverbend Sandler pools is absolutely the BEST from start to finish!! Hank did an absolutely amazing job helping us design a pool that fit with our family lifestyle. He listened to our every need and executed the pool of our dreams. Ron was phenomenal as a project manager. He over communicated on the project timeline at every phase. He returned calls promptly with answers and/or resolutions. Each crew was on time, friendly, and even cleaned up after each day!! Pool and chemical school were extremely informative and helpful. The retail store staff goes above and beyond to answer all my chemical questions! I literally have never been happier with a company. Thanks to all of you for a job well done!

This has been such a sad and disappointing experience. Riverbend continues to mess up and refuses to make things right. Their customer service is non existent and their staff is painfully unorganized. Out of everything that went wrong, one of the biggest disappointment was the unprofessional treatment that I received from Tricia, the Chief Operating Officer. Tricia came to my home and started yelling at me for a review I posted previously on Yelp. Although my review wasn't the most positive, it was truthful. After my conversation with her I felt forced to delete that review because I was afraid Riverbend wouldn't complete the job or correct their mistakes. I am now able to create a new review as our pool is complete. I was hoping since the last review maybe my view might change, but the experience was just as bad as before. Long story short, Riverbend neglected to complete a task and forced us to foot the bill after telling us they would take care of it. I hope no one else makes the same mistake as we did with choosing Riverbend Sandler. I do not recommend their services for building a new pool.

If it is a quality,reputable company you are looking for go somewhere else.
This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There is absolutely no follow thru or responsibility for the work they do.
It took over a month to get my pool clean. They kept coming up with different excuses for the problem.
I spent more money than I care to think getting someone to fix the problems the could not.
The woman who runs the company will not meet with customers. She said,and I quote" I pay someone a whole lot of money to deal with them"
What a response to make.

Riverbend built our pool back in 2006 and it has been nothing but enjoyable.

I built my pool about 2 years ago and I wanted to wait some time before I posted a review. This is my second pool and I have to say that this was the absolute best experience. From working with Jason in the beginning to design the pool to working with Bert who supervised, I could not ask for a better experience.

The quality of the products were outstanding. The selections and flexibility to choose was outstanding. The contractors and the process was outstanding. I like that most of the contractors were RBS employees which I think made a difference in the quality of work.

I highly recommend this company!

Riverbend Sandler recently completed our pool - On-time and on budget. Our project manager, James Antonio, did a great job taking the plans and making them into a perfect reality. If there ever was a question or concern, James promptly get the answers I needed. The communication on the pool build was outstanding. Riverbend Sandler has a process to their pool build and they have it down straight. I love that Riverbend employs most of their workers - you can see it in the quality of their work.

We had a wonderful experience with the building of our pool & hot tub! Their architect, Todd Theriault, did a great job of designing a pool that is beautiful in our backyard & very usable! Our project manager, Cristian Guzman, was on top of everything & very patient with our questions & concerns. We had a special project wood fire pizza oven that was very difficult & the whole company pulled through to make our dream come true under interesting circumstances! We appreciated that very much. We now use our backyard all the time & are very glad we had the great experience of working with them! An added note they do a pool school to teach you how to maintain your pool & have a store that tests your water for free & is very handy to buy supplies there with good staff & big sales at certain times of the year. We can highly recommend them!

I have not built a pool with Riverbend Sandler but I can tell you that they are one solid company. I have known Travis Bain for years and this company is built on a solid foundation.

The sales individual was FABULOUS! The site manager was HORRIBLE and all the contractors were NOT Riverbend Sandler Pool employees! The challenges we had continue now two years later to the point we are beyond irritated!
Let's start with the pool deck - they have LOTS of wonderful selections and we chose one we liked but got the most horrible looking deck! Riverbend Sandler is impossible to deal with after the fact.
Let me also share that the fence contractor that they hired had no understanding of the code requirements. They were out here 15 times trying to fix the fence and right now one gate is nearly impossible to open.
The sprinkler repair companies - yes that is plural - all were clueless and would continuously ring our doorbell to tell us they could not figure it all out. We hired our own company after the fact that fixed the mess and cost us some pretty green bills!!!
Now to the pool....it leaves a lot to be desired!!
Look at another company.... I'll be posting more reviews all over the web as we are so disappointed again at the start of another pool season!

We have had a Riverbend Pool since 1991. We have had it resurfaced once which is the norm. The service department is great and the Service man that comes out Don is the best. I would not recommend any other company. Most of the employees at the retail store are helpful and friendly.

I took my Polaris in for repair and showed the young girl some things I felt were wrong. She agreed and found some I did not even know about. She repaired it and it is running better now than when it was new. This young lady knows her stuff and this will be my go to place for Polaris repairs in the future. I buy my chemicals here in April when they have their Tent Sale. Their prices at the April tent sale are unbeatable anywhere including on-line.

Our family is ecstatic about the pool that has been built by this company. Our designer Todd was top notch and very accommodating to our requests. Our project manager Cristian made sure everything was communicated clearly and even afterwards made sure we were happy. Would definitely recommend to anyone

They stand behind their pools even when problems arise from equipment which is outside of their control. I had continual problems with Jandy pool lighting (12 lights) which riverbend repeatedly replaced. It was a manufacturing issue, nevertheless Riverbend made good on it.

We had the most amazing experience with Riverbend Pools. One thing that impressed us about Riverbend was how well they listened and then implemented our design ideas. The resulting pool is more beautiful than we could have possibly imagined. Our designer, Matt, is a genius! Installation was flawless, thanks to our amazing Project Manager, Ron. If we had 100 pools to build, we would use Riverbend every time!

We just built a pool through Riverbend Sandler Pools and it was a great experience. JD Quinn was our sales person and Mike Estes was our project manager. Both were great to work with! JD, was very patience with us and provided a great design and great ideas to help create our pool. Riverbends, quote was not the cheapest bidder but, they provided the most value! They included sprinkler system reroute, sod and fence repair in our bid. Other Pool builders we got bids from did not. Riverbend owns over half of their crews, excavators, Stonework, gunite, plaster were all Riverbend Sandler crews, they are a well oiled machine! Very organized and hardworking crews!

It's a gamble. We heard mixed things about them but when we originally met with them, it seemed like a good fit. Things quickly took a turn for the worse. We spent hundreds of dollars getting pumps replaced and sealed. Over the course of the summer, our pool has gone from pristine to green. Every month we have a different tech out who changes the valves and messes with the pools suction to the point that one of the supervisors took off the handle only for a tech to put it back on and now they can't get the pump to prime. Guess who gets to picked up the check for their mistakes...the customer! What a nightmare. Don't make the same mistake we did. Choose a professional company.

Update: The upper management got in touch with us and handled the situation appropriately.

We've had our Riverbend built pool for 3 years now and are very happy with it. The whole experience was good from start to finish. And the retail store is terrific. Thank you Riverbend!

I would like to thank everyone for their reviews, since i am looking for a company to remodeling my pool, i can skip this company. I find it tough to get a good pool remodeling company in the plano area. Even though their are some good reviews, i believe that the saleman should always be on top of the sale from start to the end.

We've had a fantastic experience with Riverbend Sandler Pools! After interviewing several companies, Josh and Mary Sandler came highly recommended by a few of our clients and friends. We interviewed them and visited their offices/showroom in Plano and immediately knew we were in the most experienced, professional, knowledgeable and skilled hands in the metroplex. The team designed and built our dream pool within budget and within the promised timeline. The worksite was clean, quick and didn't bother the neighbors one bit. Our pool is beautiful and has stood the test of time. We've had no problems and have enjoyed it for many years now. We'd recommend the team at Riverbend Sandler to anyone looking to build or remodel their poo and design an outdoor kitchen. They are truly the best in the business. Building a new pool, and ultimately a new backyard was a big decision for my wife and I, as it is for everyone given the investment and the journey you embark on with the company you choose. We made the right decision. Riverbend Sandler has been in the game for quite a while and has made a reputation for themselves as being a complete pool company with outstanding service, and I will tell you that they wholeheartedly delivered. I read all of the google reviews before we started, including the not-so-desirable ones, but what reassured me with Riverbend, even though they may be a bit pricier than most, was the attention to detail and communication from day one. Our designer, Hank, was great to work with and would make time for us, no matter how much we wanted to noodle plans, make changes, etc. He also listened well and gave us honest and upfront opinions about what we would realistically use/want given our lifestyle and what we wanted to get out of our backyard. We had the unique situation of digging up an old vinyl liner pool that was just too far gone to repair. We also opted for an outdoor kitchen by Riverbend as well. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and more, in large part to the professionalism, attention to detail, and communication of Cristian Guzman. I've worked with a ton of contractors and project managers on our older house and I would trust Cristian with any project, even outside of a pool. He was the absolute best to work with because he genuinely cares and follows through with every commitment. I saw him on Saturdays, in the mornings, and in the evenings, throughout the entire project checking on progress and giving me updates. Honestly the best service I have received in years. They said they'd be done in 12 weeks -- we broke ground on 8/28, and the final pool inspection was complete on 11/28. This was with construction happening during the great October floods of 2018. Just super impressive. Cristian is still checking in on us every so often to make sure we are happy. He is really great at what he does and loves it, and you can tell. All in, if you're reading this review, just like I did before starting the process, do yourself a favor and don't skimp on an investment of this magnitude. Do it right the first time. Go with a company that has been doing this for years, that has a well-oiled infrastructure, that has the majority of their craftsman in-house, that cares about your satisfaction and wants to make things right when you're not 100% happy. Riverbend is the real deal -- Hank is super talented and Cristian is the absolute man. And, remember, it's a construction process -- things will pop up and things may suck for a while, but be involved and be kind, and then get ready to be in awe when the finished product is outside your back door. Last thing, I'm not getting a kick-back or anything. RB didn't prod me to do this for a % off or a gift card or free maintenance or anything...honestly, it was that great of an experience for me. Anyone can feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss more if you're on the fence.

We had a great experience getting our pool built. It was great working with Jason, our design consultant as well as Francisco, our project manager.

Horrible pool building experience. Project manager couldn't have cared less about us. We had a number of problems including going without water over a weekend and another going without gas for days in the middle of winter. Each was a result of the construction. He would not answer his phone after 6 PM even when my family was freezing at night and over the weekend. We had a gas leak. He wouldn't answer his phone. He simply didn't care. And the company, in general, didn't seem to think his behavior was an issue.

Customer Service is horrific. Signed up in March for weekly service and since then my pool has been cleaned twice and that was when a manager came out. After my husband and I calling every week for the last two months to complain because our pool was just as dirty when the guy left after paying $185.00 a month. The camera shows the guy walking in, flipping a switch, filling out the form and leaving - week after week. Really??? They insisted it was their best guy and he reported it was clean so it must be clean. Somehow it was my fault every week. Time to move on. I do not recommend their services. I feel ripped off.

First had issue with pool cleaner. Even with Dolphin. But they resolved the issue. They did more than manufacturer. Thanks

Stupendous service and integrity. I had a problem with my Intelliflo Sensor (looks like cable had been chewed through) and Jason from Riverbend Sandler Pools came out to look at it. He remedied it in a BETTER fashion than had previously existed. Jason followed up a few days later with additional service to make sure everything was working properly. I cannot adequately express my great satisfaction with the quality and care of Jason's (and Riverbend's) service. They really do live by DOING THE RIGHT THING for their customers.

I highly recommend Riverbend Sandler Pools! I've used them to build, maintain, and resurface my pool over many years! I've never had any problem with them returning a phone call, their service department has been great! Anytime I deal with Riverbend Sandler, the service and techs have been exceptional. Every single person in this company... the receptionist, the store employees, the service department, Renovations department... you name it, I've never had a problem with them returning a phone call or working with me to get things back in order! When you ask Riverbend Sandler about a part.. they don't ask you for a part number... they actually look up the part for you and tell you the part number... You want a part... guess what... they have the item in stock! Riverbend Sandler isn't just a good pool company... they are a great pool company! You can have the best product & do top quality work, but if your customer service is bad it stinks up the whole place. Such is the problem at Riverbend Sandler. They built my pool, have serviced my pool, but I must say if you try to contact them, they don't return your calls. You have to almost beg them to take your money. Sadly after 10+ years of this I'm done and moving on....

We signed on a pool contract right before Christmas in December 2019. From dig in late March to swimming in early June, ten weeks passed and we couldn t be more thrilled with the result! From Hank Henry s design to Christian s impeccable service as our project manager, Riverbend Sandler did everything we asked for and more! We were able to see everything due to Covid/lockdown so that made it even more special. I can t recommend them enough. You might think they re expensive but remember this is an investment and you get what you pay for! Highly recommend Riverbend Sandler!!

Riverbend built a beautiful pool for me 12 or 13 years ago....I sold that home, and then bought it back! One of the reasons was the pool. First rate job, and it is still in good shape. Recently, I called to update some of the equipment. My Riverbend service technician, James, was MOST helpful. He suggested things that I needed but had not yet considered, and kept me away from things I thought I needed but in actuality did not. In short, he spent my money like it was his own. James also kept me up to date as to parts availability, appointments, and even an ongoing promotion which saved me some money. I might maintain my own pool (I try!) but I trust no one but Riverbend when it comes to service issues of any kind. You will not go wrong here. Ask for James when it comes to your equipment needs!

I have used Riverbend Sandler pools on multiple homes in Dallas. They just completed a project for me in Lakewood and I couldn t be happier. Jason O Neal was our designer and Dave Casper was our project manager. If you want a company with creative design, quality workmanship and great customer service ...look no further. Marshall Truitt was our sales rep. Marshall walked us through a complete remodel of our pool, from re-plastering the pool to replacing the deck. Riverbend had a good selection of products at their showroom and good knowledge of subcontractors that provided materials when we couldn't find the right decking at the showroom. The advice and experience Marshall provided resulted in a outstanding backyard.

We had a few minor problems (it's hard not to with a project this large) but Riverbend was diligent and corrected them quickly. I would sum it up as a very professionally run operation with great service. They stand behind their work.

The service department is not dependable. We called for a repair, they said their turn times were 2 to 3 days, DAY 3 would have been Monday, February 3, 2014 and now we are very concerned because it is snowing/freezing in Dallas Texas and our issue is becoming worse. They are now telling me the turntime is 11 to 14 days.

We had a great experience with Riverbend and the entire building process. They were professional and always there to answer our questions. Francisco Ramirez was fantastic throughout. My dogs even liked him. Our designer Jason O Neal incorporated everything we were looking for as well.

2012. Received GREAT service in getting my pool equipment moved to another location in my yard. Had the heater replaced as well as the circuit board. Jason did a great job in getting everything completed in a timely manner. Am getting ready to use their service again.

Just had my 15 year old Riverbend Sandler pool updated and remodeled after 15 years of heavy use. First of all the original pool was built like a tank with no issues on construction or workmanship. We decided to update the tile, coping and plaster and give it a fresh look. The overall process was amazing. Excellent sales advise, excellent project management and execution. They were able to complete the entire job in 7 days. Workmanship is outstanding. Communication was excellent. A pool is a big investment. I've had 2 Riverbend Sandler pools over the last 20 years. The quality and service is the best in the industry. I'm looking forward to enjoying our newly remodel pool for another 15 years.

I highly recommend Riverbend for any work you need to updating your pool . They built our pool 13 years ago and have never had any issues with it. Our rock water fall started leaking . Apparently , this is not uncommon. Rick at Riverbed did a super job managing the project. We now have a beautiful new rock fall and are ready for the summer.

We moved into a house with a pool built by Riverbend Sandler. The pool was completed 8 months ago and now our lights are not functioning in our pool. I called them to see if it would be covered by warranty and because we were not the original builders they would not honor the 3 year warranty on the pool. We will now have to cover costly repairs for their mistake on a brand new pool. These things should not be broken in less than a year when we rarely use the lights and for them to not stand by their work is not acceptable.

Sales guy is great - we really like him. However, once the sale was made, he kind of dropped us. For three weeks, we've been somewhat in the dark about who was coming and when. I've asked specific questions and don't get answers. I've asked for the schedule and never get a call back or answer via email. The quality of work being done is good, but the customer service is poor. So if you're looking for a company that will hold your hand through the process, then this isn't the company you want. I'm pretty disappointed by the lack of communication, especially since we're spending $18K for this pool reno. That's a lot of money and this is our home - not just a piece of property. It's personal to us. I was in project management - no matter how great the product is that you're selling, you completely lose if you don't have the customer service to match it.

Riverbend Sandler is a wonderful pool company to work with. James was our construction lead and was always on time & communicated with us very well.

I built my pool in January 2014. It is beautiful and the experience was great! I would build with them again and have a few friends I referred that are happy.

They did an outstanding work building our pool. The designer Eric Norris came up with an excellent plan and project manager James Antonio and his team did an outstanding job making it a reality. I would definitely recommend them for your projects.

James Guice is amazing and always provides the best service. He showed up at my house on his day off yesterday just to fix the problem with my pool. What amazing service. Definitely 5 stars.

Our family loved our pool and outstanding service our salesperson gave us. Made us feel absolutely great about the purchase. However, it s the service department (manager included) that make us feel like just a number when we require service afterwards. Anything outside of under warranty issues they are completely horrible and overpriced. It s like going to the car dealership for repairs - don t do it. After referring multiple friends to Riverbend...no more!

From initial contact, to working with my designer Matt, to finishing the construction phase with Ron, everything was very professional and the quality second to none. They have a stable of top notch trades that truly care about the quality of their work, not just getting the job done as fast as they can. I would highly recommend to anyone, and was truly impressed with their process and product. They aren t the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Mr. Mark.B, Senoir Technician, extremely efficient and conscientious and fixed my swimming pool problem. He is courteous and very pleasant and went out out of his way and came to check on our pool after hours on Saturday.

Our pool remodel is beautiful. We were very pleased with our salesman, Marshall & our project manager, Allan. Marshall made the experience an enjoyable one. He is very knowledgeable and we love the options he chose for us. Allan was knowledgeable as well, extremely responsive to our needs as well as staying on schedule.

I just had a very disturbing call with one your designers. Matt Hart. I understand if my yard would not be ideal for a pool but I feel like he shot it down with trying to scare me with pricing. I was not concerned with the pricing but he made sure that was a deterrent. It disturbs me because he quoted a 8 ft wide pool to cost $50-$60K after I was referred by one of your customers that paid $58k and more options and upgrades for a standard size pool. Maybe business is that good where you don't need a small customer. SMH! a waste of breath and time. What happened to great customer service regardless of the outcome.

Riverbend Sandler completed our pool build in December of 2017. They were great to work with from start to finish and we are pleased with the outcome. Our designer, Erik T was very patient with us as it seemed like we had him change our design several times to get it just the way we wanted it. He was also very good at explaining the details of each step of the project. Our project manager, James A. was also great to work with. He was very communicative as the project moved along informing us of when the different crews were scheduled to be on-site. He was also great at the follow up after each phase of the build. RBS has also been very timely with scheduling the punch list items after it was completed.

We get excellent service with Riverbend. Their office staff is also friendly and courteous.
