When we first got there they charged everything to one card but when we realized we went down & they fixed it immediately. It was clean all the time & it wasn't as packed as every other casino we went to visit. Loved that they had a designated spot for uber pickup which made it super easy ! They also have several restaurants & stores inside open most of the day. Also all their drinks from the bars & in the restaurant were strong & well worth it! The staff always willing to help with whatever you need, customer service was great.

Not bad for the price. We paid $59 but with resort fees $109, still not bad. We ended up checking out a little later and paid $25 for late checkout... (3pm) Great view from the masquerade tower too!

I am disappointed here at the Rio and our stay. One hot tub down completely and other one the jets are busted and why pay a resort fee when you just want jets for aching legs after long walks and to close at 6 pm! Really??? Plus we got one face cloth only for washroom and one shampoo only. Plus no perks as in discounts like many other hotels do offer to entice you to spend time here! Plus even the Starbucks is way over priced ridiculous compared to other Starbucks so did not even eat here today and moving on to eat somewhere affordable! NOT RIGHT! They are off the beaten path a bit too and not even a free shuttle offered to strip or Freemont either. NOTHING! Will they respond...not sure!

Rooms are not kept up beds are bad. Some kind of weird smell all over the place. Leaky faucets and the list goes on.

We spent time with the family in one of beautiful suites for a wedding reception. We all enjoyed the outstanding views of the strip. I would highly recommend the Rio, even though I have not stayed there. Everyone was very helpful and pleasant environment.

We like the Rio for the price the rooms are really nice. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. The only downfall is it isnt on the strip. Some people like to be away from downtown but as a tourist and if you want to drink and avoid driving its nice to be on the strip. Plus driving to the strip from this hotel and just driving downtown in general is not fun. We like to walk when we are in vegas so its better if everything is within walking distance. This hotel used to offer shuttle to strip, but it no longer offers that. Our room is always amazing floor to ceiling windows with full view of strip.

Although advertised as all suites, the room was just an extra large room with a sitting area. It was rather dated and smelled musty. My room was comped so I guess I can t complain to much, however I was not especially impressed.

I'm not sure where to start with this hotel. We stayed at Rio for a weekend as a quick get-away. We wanted to stay budget conscious so decided that Rio would be a good pick since it was towards the end of the strip and off strip so easier to get to then one of the other hotels in the middle. I feel like you get what you paid for. Upon check-in we were told our room was not ready yet it but was 5pm. Then they told us they would call when our room would be ready and we never received a call. Then when we got our room it was still dirty and in poor shape. The couch looked like it came from a college dorm and the linens had burnt holes in them. The casino also was way too smokey as the ventilation system was not great. I wouldn't recommend staying unless it was your very last option and you were on a budget.

Staff was moderately friendly. A bit off putting. While attempting to get directions in the casino to a restaurant, in the Casino, we were given incorrect directions not once but twice. Ended up at the Buffet. It was EXTREMELY disappointing!!! I would not recommend. And WON T be going back, and I m a local. My friend requested a smoking room, there were no ash trays. When he called house keeping, she demanded he check EVERYWHERE basically accusing him of lying about it. It took more than 35 minutes to receive ONE ashtray.

For a hotel that advertises ALL SUITES, I felt very as if I were in a Motel somewhere. Everything was disappointing: the valet, the front desk, the housekeeping exchange, the bell man was a delight, he s the one who got us an additional ashtray. To the buffet, there was no one there and we had to wait to be seated, that s ridiculous. The food itself was disgusting, the stations were dirty and not properly filled with flatware for the specific items offered.
The waitress was friendly and honestly apologetic for the state of order.

I can t be the only one with this overview. I hope these problems can and will be corrected. I ve dissuaded friends from staying there because they were in town to see Penn & Teller. With a show of that caliber, the hotel should reflect their professionalism and the audience that attend their shows.

This was the worst hotel ever, from the first time we checked in there were issues. Starting with the air conditioning not working, phone didn't work, alarm clock didn't work, even had roaches. Calling the front desk every
day and getting no help was frustrating definitely will not be staying there again and would not recommend this to anyone. Watch what they charge you as well because they will change it on you.

Room was pretty good, expected that much from an all suites hotel. The dealers (more than less) great banter and kept things fun. Resterraunts have a good mix and taste. Only thing I had a major issue with was dishonest host. One guy in particular, "Ray." Between him and guy working checkout, I'll never step foot in the Rio again. And this coming from someone that left in the black up $2000. In case you are wondering what caused this, I was specifically told my resort fees would be comped. Instead, they took it out of the comps I had earned. Which I was told would not happen. Ray the host was a huge "help" in denying the comps after having me wait 30 minutes before coming out to say no. Oh and platinum status means nothing there as the check out attendant they had pretty ignored me while I waited in line to checkout. Oh, even though he started off asking me if I was checking out, when I said the word "comp" he instantly went to, "Oh we don't comp anything, it almost impossible to get a room comped." This is a major lie, but not going to worry about it. Last time I'll go so as long as I can say my piece one less thing to care about.

Probably my favorite off strip hotel and casino. It has a huge, free parking structure, a KISS themed mini golf, is home to chippendales and Penn and Teller's magic show, a nightclub, and a zipline.

The place has a beautiful Brazilian inspired design/decor and everything makes you think Carnivale.

An old school fave here as I was married in 2005 at their chapel. Has great ambiance with many amenities for the adult grown and sexy. May not be kid friendly, however but has shopping and excellent dining options.

Didn't stay in the hotel. Went to see Penn & Teller, which was great.

The low rating is all about the smoking section of the casino. Why did I have to walk through a smoking area to get to the theater? Move the stinky smokers somewhere where they are hidden from those of us who don't want to smell that!

Beautiful resort. Spacious, comfortable and is full of activity! Very clean, staff great. Nice variety of shops and eating places. The buffet, open 4-9 PM is fabulous! Over 300 items to choose from; everything made from scratch on premises by their own chefs and staff. Everything I ate was the best I've tasted! THIS IS A BIG HIT AND ONE OF THE BEST BUFFETS AVAILABLE. A nice place to visit when in Las Vegas. Easy to get to.

Saw Penn & Teller at the Rio! Was a great show! Definitely would go again and bring the kids along. They invite you on stage and will stay after to meet and greet all their guests. It was a great experience and I highly recommend it!

I've stayed here many times. This is a great hotel. The rooms are enormous, especially compared to several strip hotels. The bathroom showers/tubs could use some updating, but they are sufficiently functional. Mini fridge and safe, lots of closet space. Additionally, parking is free, and there are plenty of spaces, with easy access from either end of the property, so you can have a short walk to your room. The pool area is located so that it actually gets spring and fall sun, although it seems like a shortage of lounge chairs has been an ongoing problem. The fitness center is better than most. Home to one of the most famous buffets, but there are also other very good eateries onsite. The casino has everything you need, table games, slots, poker, and a sports book. One of the best off-strip choices.

The hotel is very very dated we checked in and out room was disgusting. Heavy dirt deposits were surrounding the bed. Called front desk who upgraded us to suite that smelled of cigarette however had an incredible view. The buffet downstairs is meh and the casino is drag and dingy. All in all would not do this again!

The Rio was a nice place to spend a relaxing weekend not to busy and just close enough to the strip. The staff was nice and engaging and helpful when needed. The restaurants were decent, the pool area was nice and clean. A few things that made me give 4 stars instead of 5 our room wasn't cleaned for two days in their defense I didn't put a sign out (I didn't know I had to) the water pressure in the shower was awesome but the shower head was old and crusty looking (those don't cost much to change out) the high pressure show people..... NO MEANS NO....... I was looking for more up to date games to.... Overall I had a great time.....

Not bad, I think the machines give better odds than those on the strip. The buffet is pretty good depending on what time you get there. Usually better later in the evening because the foods changed out more often due to it being busy. It's also close to The Palms and another large casino which adds to the options.

I have spent the last 4 hours trying to get my room. I finally got my keys and it was the wrong room. This is the 4th time I have come to the front desk. No one tries to help and no one cares they are wasting my time. I will NEVER stay here again. Nor will I recommend them. I am in marketing, I spend over 6 months a year in hotels. This is hands down the WORST experience I've had. There is zero customer service at this resort. I can stay in a nicer hotel for less and be treated respectfully. Definitely pass on this hotel!

*On day 2 we found unattended luggage in the park8mg garage. We reported it and no one took it seriously. It was still there several hours later. They do not care about customer safety or customer service. Best to stay somewhere else.

I loved it, I didn't have a bad experience at all here. It was nice and clean, no problems in the atmosphere. Won some $$$ from the slots. Guy Fieri's restaurant was the bomb, well worth trying. You can see the pool and zip line from the window while dining.

Each time I come here they don t disappoint. The rooms are relatively inexpensive and depending on which tower you stay in depends on how updated your room will be. My first time coming and this time the rooms were different but they were both clean comfortable and spacious. They have a new self check in and out process which is very convenient when you have kids! It took me five minutes to check it in about five minutes to check out!

Really liked our stay here. Larger rooms with small fridge. A long rough walking mile to the strip though. They do not offer the free shuttle anymore or the lobster and crab legs. They only allow 2 connected devices on the free wifi and tried to charge me. One of the queen beds was breaking down as well. Still worth staying a night or two. Good luck trying to find a close grocery store. Security is top notch though with free parking.

Stayed at the Rio last weekend for my wedding. The rooms were nice. We had 3 different couples with suites for the weekend. That was one of the only decent parts about the Rio. The spa was interesting. My massage was awesome, but our nail ladies were far from great. You would think they would do their best to make me feel beautiful on my wedding day, but instead they made several rude comments about my appearance and did a terrible job on my nails. "Are your nails going to be the only girl thing about your wedding." Also, I had ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom. The cheapest arrangement being $60. She did not receive the flowers until the day after my wedding. Kind of defeats the purpose. I ended up having to order flowers from elsewhere (another $100), but still had to pay for both. When I called about it, the floral department blamed the bell desk and the bell desk blamed the floral department. Nobody was willing to help me. My now husband and I frequent Vegas quite often and are Total Rewads members.....we will not be returning to the Rio. I'm so disappointed.

Super off-season rates. Stayed in newer 51 floor Masquerade Tower. 6th floor room was usual clean. Resort offers tons of restaurant and cuisine options $-$$$$, well known and popular shows, Rewards Program benefits and hefty discounts and freebies at World Carnival and buffets and shows at all Caesar's affiliated resorts (many). Great staff everywhere. Enuf to do here for days without ever leaving. Best live music in LV too at 721 Club. 5 mins from the Strip. Pools not open now (Feb/Mar). Gambling everywhere. Nice views.

Came for a music festival. They screwed up our reservation and did a poor job at comping us for their mistake. They have no microwaves we had to ask for a coffee maker. Only benefit was it was close to the highway and close to our shuttle pickup. It was clean, but lacked decent customer service.

I visited this resort during the summer of 2019 and it was a great experience. The rooms were nice and very spacious. Me and my family had a great grown up getaway. The beds are nice and comfortable, bathrooms are clean and the views from our rooms were great. The staff made sure all our rooms were close together even though we had different reservations. The staff was nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again

Great prices for a really nice room. However, 3 stars because, 1) It s not a good location for exploring The Strip, that is, you can t walk from there, and 2) The only buffet worth spending a LOT of money on was the seafood buffet here. Used to be unlimited, but now you have to pay extra for the lobster, and it limits how many tails you can take. With this in mind, it is no longer worth the extra money, and is no better than any other buffet.

I had a challenge with Expedia, who canceled my room at the Rio without my knowledge (they suck and I will never use them again) and when I got to the Rio miss Ana at the front desk was polite, courteous, and friendly even as I grumpily snapped at her out of confusion and fatigue from traveling. She worked out our issue with grace, and her manager was also extra kind. We were able to get a room on an overbooked night, and for that we are eternally grateful. Thank you, amazing Rio staff!!!

Stayed in a luxury suite, very nice, very clean. Lots to do and see. The rooftop nightclub Voodoo was awesome, it was cold out, they had heaters and we got our own table for a good price. I will be going back. They also offer military rewards which gave me awesome benefits.
