Rooms are clean but, need to be remodel, my window was outside some AC units and glass is not sound proof, it gets really pack on the parking lot on the weekend, I book on line and you still pay more when you check out. Cable is good, 24 hrs. Starbucks is great, grocery store is really clean and the pools are crystal clear. Security makes sure only guests can go to hotel rooms.

Costumer service gets five starts. The check in lady was just super nice and helpful. If it was not for her this review will be a 3 stars instead of 4.

The premises get 3 starts. My room was really nice but halls were a bit dirty and the sinks in our room were clogged.

Casino gets 3 stars. Prices: drinks are very overpriced . And you only get one drink ticket for every 100 dollars you bid . And if you want to seat in a nice chair to watch sports your have to pay 30 dollars. NONSENSE.

The RIO wasn't good in presenting the USA resort, the lift stopped working in my tower on the 12th floors ,
The room air-conditioned needed a little more. Servicing as the smoked atmosphere was not able to make sure that you can breathe and I have asmatic condition and found it hard to breathe and sleep in the Room,
The bellman took 1hour and 40 minutes to collect my luggage and take it to the front door.
I had booked a Lyft transportation service and awaited the arrival at the front lobby door, The Lyft driver pick up point was some 400 feet on the other side of the parking areas, after 5 minutes they left and I was charged a cancellation fee of $ 5.00 , asked the bellman were was Lyft drop off and was informed that the area was other parking areas, As a Veteran with war service disability and two large luggage cases ,I was unable to take the luggage O the Lyft area and the bellman could not leave his location to assist me.
The meals were good in texture and value.

This is the worst casino I've ever been to. Booked a room online and couldn't get the room. So now I'm out 96 dollars. And had to sleep in the car with kids. Zero rating and you wonder why you guys are in back forty. But thank you for the 170 I won there. Won't ever be back again.

The hotel is not too bad, we were told that they are going to tear it down to make room for an arena so that might explain why the facility looks dated. The "free" WiFi connection is about what you would expect for the price, terrible.......

The staff seems more burned out than the rooms. The room we stayed in (Masquerade Tower) wasn't as bad as other reviews make them seem, but the room was a bit dingy. We didn't spend much time in the room, so its condition didn't make or break the trip. The Rio definitely doesn't have the same charm or fun-factor it used to, but the KISS mini-golf and adjoining gift shop makes up for it all. I loved the staff & experience there! There's even a wedding chapel where you can get married by a Gene Simmons or Ozzy Osbourne impersonator. Oh, do not waste your time or money at the breakfast "a-go-go" place.

I was very disappointed with the Rio. First of all the room that was given to me in no way form or fashion resembled the picture that was sold to me online. Prior to coming to the hotel I was giving an email giving me am option to upgrade the room , which I didn't feel necessary because I felt the choice that was given to me and which I chose as a consumer was the best option for me. When I got here the room was nowhere like I said on the top of this paragraph form or fashion what they showed me. I am disappointed and I felt like I was lied to.

I am not how this is a 4 star hotel. Rooms are comparable to Motel 6. Hidden Resort Fee charge, no shuttle service to the strip and long check-in lines were some of the issues. Also see the picture of room HVAC filter. No wonder I was sick for the four nights I was there. On positive side, their pool was nice.

I am a gold club member half way to a platinum member. I drive a semi for a living. I normally play at Horseshoe bend Casino in Council Bluffs, IA. Which from now on is what I will do. I had a $45.00 free game play promotion. I guess it was only for Horseshoe Casino. However when I selected the Rio on the list for promotions it was still offered. As I am out for a couple of weeks I probably will not be able to utilize that promotion. The lady at the desk was less then concerned about my dilemma.

Booked a room June 2020, 6 days prior the Rio announced it wasn't going to reopen as planned. My reservation was transferred to Harrahs, which I had to re pay in full. Rio never to this day, July 14th, has not refunded my money which was promised 10 days ago. Sad to think, that they are hurting for money that bad. Avoid Las Vegas during COVID19.

Always a good time here. 11 of the last 13 years - this has been my go to Vegas hotel. They are aging for sure but treat me well. Have tons of food choices - and it's Vegas - you don't spend too much time in your room anyway

I went to the steakhouse on the 51st floor with the so called panoramic view . I was encouraged to do so by another guest that had gone there 3 times since he had been staying at the hotel. Normally I wouldn't go to a steakhouse by myself but the gentlemen that recommended it was by himself and it was right at 5pm when it opened. I was hungry so it was like a late lunch. I take the elevator up and was greeted by the hostess. Everyone else in the restaurant including the gentlemen that recommended it was seated in a seat that was by the window to enjoy the "panoramic view" the restaurant was far from full it was 5pm they just opened. I was the only person seated in a booth far away from the rest of the paying customers with a panoramic view of the kitchen and I was the only black person in the restaurant. Needless to say I wont be returning. The food was ok. Nothing you couldn't get at the outback for a third of the price. My bill was $88 I left 105 because that wait staff was cool but I felt completely disrespected, enough to write this review the first such I have ever written. The rest of my stay was fine so I wouldn't boycott the hotel just the bunk steakhouse and there disrespectful treatment of a person of color

I stayed at this hotel for three days and had a fantastic view from the 21st floor. The suite was comfy. Guest services also acted promptly with replacing my refrigerator after I discovered that one in the room wasn't freezing. Great work guys!

Staff are great and work hard, but this Cesar s property needs a face lift. My room an updated one and it still felt older than I am. Take note Cesar s and pump some money into this place to make it trendy again.

Rooms definitely weren't modern, but clean and sufficed for our stay. Only being able to connect 2 devices to the wifi was a bit lame as well. I carry multiple devices for work and couldn't connect them all without paying extra. Free WiFi should be a standard. Price was a little high for an older hotel, but this is Vegas...

I believe the casino could use a upgrade with many more slots... I was disappointed to say the least after others I heard from raved about it.. the rooms are nice but beds could use upgrade as well...

Had a vacation here for few days, hotel is good and casino too. They changed towels everyday and housekeeping did a wonderful job. Also we tried in room dining options. The food taste was good. I couldn't find anything bad in this hotel experience.

Went to the Tejano music convention last night...You're staff that I interacted with were very attentive to me...The hall was large to accomodate the event and had ample seating including small bleachers, which I thought was awesome. It was a little cold inside but with 106 F, it better be cold.

The Rio it's an older resort, and the rooms are very much ready for a renovation, but it's still a very fun place that offers a better value than resorts of a similar age in the strip. This is due to its strip-adjacent location, but the parking is free as a consequence. It's a $7 5 minute Uber to Caesars, so you can be in the thick of the action in no time. I stayed in a suite that offered a Jacuzzi tub for 3. Like I said, lots of fun to be had here. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The on site entertainment options are world class. Comedy cellar, Wow, and Penn and Teller are just a few of the many, many options you have here. there's also a variety of adult-themed shows including the Chippendales and Little Miss Nasty. The dining options are quite varied, but for my very pedestrian tastes, the smashburger is incredible.

My stay at the Rio was spectacular! Stayed here for one night for work in town and couldn't be happier. With a convention in town, the hotel was busy and clearly booked. Luckily, I had a reservation already set but unfortunately at the time of check in, they did not have a room with just a king size bed. Having a room with two queens would not have been a problem and I would have been happy with that but the employee at check in (with no prompt from me) opted to upgrade me to a "slightly larger" room with a king size. She made a quick phone call, got the okay, and handed me my room key. I thanked her for her customer service (wish I had got her name) and happily went on my way. To my surprise, I received a key for their penthouse (I stood in the door for a couple minutes in pure shock) which was way too much room for me. The amenities and cleanliness of the room far exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend staying at Rio (though I doubt I will ever get a complimentary upgrade of that magnitude again) because of their amazing customer service and great amenities.

Nice sized rooms, decent pricing, with a great staff! When we arrived a very fowl sewer like odor was noticed while entering the casino at the northwest entrance. Then we smelled the same sewer smell near the entrance to the "WOW" show. I overheard two other couples discussing the smell as well. Nasty! Then, when we arrived to the spacious room, I found hair in the tub/shower which grossed me out bigtime! I cleaned the hair myself, and started inspecting the rest of the room. See pics of the shower doors,... have they ever been cleaned? I will likely find different accommodations for our next visit.

The hotel was very outdated, but the pool and casino was a great experience.
Being in Vegas for the first time, I honestly didn't know what to expect but this hotel made me want to come back.
The only downfall is it was off the freeway, and they didn't provide a shuttle bus to the strip.. so we had to UBER. but other then that, I had a blast.

Came here for the WSOP.
Yes this place is a zoo and can be really busy.
Some WSOP tips.
On bathroom break try going into the Rio area and use those washrooms. It s less busy. Personally I use the one near the Chinese restaurant.
- if you play cash games in the WSOP area. Ask the pit boss for a $10 food voucher. You can get 1 everyday just by playing. U can redeem it anywhere owned by Caesars entertainment.
- if you play cash games. It s good to buy your own chips and have some extra chips in your pocket/bag. This way when u lose some chips you don t need to go to the cage or get a chip runner to rebuy.
- enjoy the experience and have fun!

The hotel is ok. I stay here as it is part of the Caesar's hotel group. The beds are ok, the linens are tired and the hotel smells more so of smoke than most of the Vegas hotels do. The seafood buffet is absolutely incredible though. It is a good place to gamble and the service is usually good.

Outdated, smoky, overpriced, and inconvenient to the Strip. Sprawling layout of a conference space. Blah buffet. Unprofessional staff. Not a bad idea to visit for Penn&Teller, but wouldn't stay here again.

My favorite three star hotel in Vegas, Rio has great plus sized suites and bathrooms, they always have a room ready whenever I arrive early and the prices are very good as well.
It's a fifteen minute walk over to Caesars/Mirage which is where I spend most of my time on the strip so I'm happy to stay here if necessary. Being just off the strip might turn some people off but I recommend the Rio to everyone without hesitation!

Beautiful place. Great service and the upgrade they gave me was off the chain. 1600 Sq ft and I enjoyed every damn foot of it. Looking over the strip and the beautiful sunrise we saw waking up was to die for

Stopped by there to check out Casino, which is nice. Waitress was the best in a long time. Fast service, big smile, super friendly. Liked the Casino floor. The shop area looks a little deserted. We will stop by again

Very overpriced. Gaming was tight. Very large rooms. They had a mini fridge which was great, but no microwave or coffee maker. Paint was peeling off the ceiling in the shower, but the room was clean.

The voodoo bar and lounge had one of the best views of the strip. Worth the effort. The Rio is a little more family oriented having putt putt and more. A little off the strip but not too far to walk.

We had fun here. The adults only pool is a great idea and the refillable containers were great. We ate in the steakhouse at the top and while expensive, the food was very good. The room was a bit dated but the price was good and it was clean. I'd return. Great to have free parking and our tower was pretty close to the parking which isn't always the case.

I stayed at RIO last weekend and when I first arrived I was a little disappointed in the smell in the room which basically smelt like a burger joint. I m guessing the poor ventilation is to blame. Additionally, the room/beds are very dated. It s like taking a trip back to the 70s. The beds were super hard and uncomfortable. I could get past all that given that I wouldn t be in the room much anyways. However, when I got back to my room after a night out the power was out on one side of the room so it was really dark in the bathroom, and sink area. The next morning I go to take a shower and low and behold it appeared that sewage had overflowed in to the shower. It was so disgusting I literally threw up. I obviously skipped the shower and went back to bed only to be awakened before 9am by housekeeping (note I had not checked out yet). Based on all of these factors I will never visit, nor recommend the Rio to ANYONE! Spend a little extra and go somewhere else. Oh I forgot to mention the casino is super tight and in my opinion it s impossible to win more than $10 there.

Casino itself and eateries are pretty decent. The hotel rooms leave a lot to be desired. Rooms are spacious, but in desperate need of an upgrade. They could be cleaned a little better as well. Check in and check out is super quick when using the app. The staff is friendly and professional. I heard from a staff member that this will no longer be a Caesar's Entertainment property within the next year or so. Perhaps that's why attention isn't being paid to the renovation of the rooms. It was a Saturday and it was unusually quiet without a wait at the buffet. I have been to the Rio before and remember waiting in line for the buffet for quite some time. Seems like business has declined in recent years.

This hotel is new compared to other hotels on the LasVegas strip. Advantage is Parking is FREE. Rio is located 1 mile away from strip. Rooms are very spacious and neat. Few sections has Vegas Strip View. On the Casino floor , food options are available along with bars. Lunch buffet is available for $40. Indian Restaurant - Royal Indian has lunch buffet and dinner (ala-carte) options. Apart from these you have other resturant and bar options.

Let's get one thing straight, while the Rio isn't on the strip, it's a nice hotel to stay in. The staff are great and it has a very fun atmosphere. While you'll have to ride share to get around if you didn't drive, it's close enough to the strip that it's not the biggest hit on your wallet. I only wish I had been able to catch a Pen and Teller show while we were there, I love them.

Unfortunately the worst hotel experience I've had so far.

We booked a two queen room months in advance, and when it came time to check in, the automated kiosks were broken and there was a long line of over 100 people all waiting to check in. Once we tried to check in, we were told that they changed our reservation unannounced to a single king.

We were then told that we could change back to a room with two queens the next day, so we packed our things again and went back to the lobby. Same issue.

The room itself was old but relatively well-maintained. Some signs of wear and a lot of dust but overall not bad.

I don't know how a hotel can simply not guarantee the number of beds you'll be given. If you're looking for a place to stay in Vegas, I would definitely recommend looking elsewhere.

Rio has very good restaurants and overall it is a nice place. Staff is helpful and courteous. The only drawback was that the slot machine selections were not as varied as other casinos. They pretty much have the same slots throughout different areas of the casino and the slots were not loose at all. But, that's the chance you take when gambling. Other than that, everything was good.

Our visit couldn t have been more disappointing. Our first room did not meet the expectations of what was advertised. From the stains on the floors and carpets, to the clogged shower, we were anything but impressed. When we initially asked to be assigned to a different room, their first response was there was no availability. Like that s even a possibility when I can go online and immediately book a room myself. The pool temperatures were below freezing. When asked if the heaters could be turned on, their response was no. The 3 days we were here, we had to sit on the lounge chairs and try to stay warm instead of being able play in the water. This will be our first and last visit to The Rio. Our experience here does not give me any confidence in the entire Caesar hotel chain.

I have stayed at the Rio Hotel 3 different Occasions and all 3 times they have managed to provide excellent service for a wonderful stay. I watched a show at their Comedy Celler laughed my head off. I also enjoyed their family pool with my toddler and was able to spend a girls night at their rooftop Club dancing drinks and if you are adventurous take a ride on their Zipline!

The 1970s called and wants their hotel back. The room is extremely dated, smells of tobacco and the bed is all chipped with a ripped vinyl headboard. So far I'm not feeling it. I would not knowingly stay here again, was here for a conference. There is also a really cheesy window in the shower that looks at the bed - who's bad idea was that????

I've been in Vegas for about 20 years and haven't been to the Rio since I was a kid! It it reminded me of when I was younger... not like out dated but it's like they kept all the important parts

The suites here were magnificent. Stayed on the third floor of the Ipanema tower. Great services, good 25 hour essentials shop (unlike the small ones you find at the other casinos). Go check out the area by the masquerade tower, it's way more entertaining than our side was. Also check out Penn & Teller! One of the best times I've had in Vegas. Only con I can say is that valet parking was kind of confusing and the check-in process at the kiosks was a bit confusing, but everyone at the front desk was very helpful.

Nice place and good atmosphere. Rooms are massive and the housekeeping staff are ever so polite. 4 stars because when I got in to my room the complementary shampoo used by the people before me was still there
