Absolutely love this place! And the view is amazin...

Absolutely love this place! And the view is amazing!
Perfect place to enjoy the view and its hugd, staff is friendly I fully enjoyed my visist
GReat place to stay and have fun . They have lots of shops and places to eat
Beautiful hotel with lots of stuff to do. You can stay in the hotel and have plenty to do or go out and adventure. Plenty of things super close to keep you busy.
One star not low enough.. rooms not clean or updated.. just stay elsewhere..
My first time to Rio. My family and I attended Penn & Teller here. I dont like Guy Fiero due to his lies about an eatery my city and I love, but ate at the burracho anyway. It wasnt anything special and i feel doesnt fit in here. I will go the Asian restaurant next time through. The rest of the hotel is amazingly beatuiful and i felt comfortable here. I really loved the chandelier as you wait for Penn & Teller. Thank you for a great time.
Awesome atmosphere. Awesome Casino, and great food, spirits, etc.
My sister booked the room for new years. When we walked into the room, I found gum on the couch. We complained about the gum specifically and asked for the room to be cleaned again that night while we were out of the room and after an hour of being out of the room, they cleaned but gum was still there. It took me removing it myself for it to be gone. The good things I could say, is the service was great. Everyone was friendly and very diverse crowd. I wouldn't stay there again, but I'd go there to hang out and scope out the bars and restaurants.
Horrible customer service, gorgeous suite. This hotel is HUGE! It took me 20 minutes just to find the entrance and exit. Another reason it took me so long is because customer service is completely lacking. No one to greet you when you arrive. The first employee I saw was to check in after a 45 minute wait in line. She was indeed polite but i didn't understand why it took so long to check people in.
They don't allow delivery people up to your suite. Apparently it's a security issue and they get stopped by security if they try to go all the way up to your designated tower. I had a back injury at the time and couldn't walk without my crutches or a wheelchair but didn't have either at the time and ordered outside food delivery instead of room service bc I didn't have $15 to buy a glass of orange juice.
So when I ordered my delivery food they wouldn't allow them to come up, they insisted that I MYSELF meet the driver in the lobby to pick up my own food. I explained my situation, I can't walk and I don't have my assistive devices. Security was able to loan me a wheelchair but they could not leave it with me. So here's the final scene. Security picks me at my room, wheels me downstairs to meet the driver. Ten minutes later I realize I left my phone in my room. He wheels me back up to my room I get my phone and then back downstairs. I get my food and then he wheels me back to my room...
Why couldn't they allow an exception or bring it themselves instead of wheeling me back and forth like that is beyond me.
Otherwise the room was AMAZEBALLS
Spacious rooms, very clean, and quiet. Just the check in is not quick. I think they need more personnel to avoid long queues.
I have stayed at this hotel several times and have had decent experiences. We stay here for the world series of poker events. This past weekend was by far the most disappointing. We asked for a non smoking room and the second we got off the elevator to our floor, the smell of smoke was awful. There were cigarette butts sitting on the window seals and the trash can (it stayed that way our entire stay without being cleaned up) and I even caught one women smoking right there in the elevator hallway. When we called about it, they told us they were booked and could not switch our room and that we had a non smoking room, but smoking is optional. Sorry, but smoke travels...you might want to consider putting non-smoking room on non - smoking floors. The pet area had no poop bags and the trash was over flowing. All the furniture in the room was beat up and again smelled like smoke. we were supposed to have bottle service in our room and that as well was not accommodated. The last day of our stay when we checked out and we expressed our concerns and frustrations, they chose to do nothing but give us a sheet with a free bottle of alcohol from an outside establishment. As a non-smoking individual, this is frustrating that I could not even get away from the smoke no matter where I went at this establishment and being treated like it was no big deal. Never again will I stay here.
Redemption Failed
Caesars has gone way down in all areas. So sad. Used to be our favorites for many, many years. This trip & staying at Rio was to be our redemption trip as last 4 stays at Caesars properties were awful. Was hoping this would be good. Worst part is they do not care how experience was. Everything is overpriced, rooms outdated, food was pretty good.
The chippendale show was great. If love seeing men in very little you need to go
Place was clean unlike Excalibur. We stayed one night as we traveled from Fresno for a connecting flight the next day. Pho was awesome!
DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!
I was staying at Rio back on January with my wife for 3 nights, the second day late at night one of the employees open my Room door even though I had the sign Don't Disturbed on the door, we were sleeping at the time. My wife was very very scared and very upset . We couldn't believe what just happened. IF YOU WANT PRIVACY, DONT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!
I like older casinos. They have a lack of pretentiousness that I appreciate. We stayed here for cheap and saw a Penn and Teller show. It s a bit of a walk to the strip, but you can get an uber too.
The place is notably run down, but our stay was safe and clean.
The resort fee is a bit high for what you get.
The casino is great and not too crowded so you can easily find your machine. We won jackpots everyday we played. Microwaves are listed as an amenity but they don't have one in room. Then our tub breaks and it took them almost 12 hours to fix. Tried to get housekeeping to clean the tub after the repair and NOTHING! Finally were able to get everything cleaned and finished up. The hotel gave us money off and a late check out. They would have upgraded room except it was our last day.
We stayed here for a few days while in Vegas, the location is not too far from the strip, and like most smoking is allowed inside so they keep it well circulating, unfortunately for about 12 hrs overnight into the morning they had turned the water off for a water emergency, that was quite aggravating. Especially since at checkout I had to ask for a discount or waiver because of that, at least they should have offered something too all the guests affected.
I will say the furniture is quite old in the rooms but the rooms are very big and that is nice. They have refrigerators but no microwaves no coffee makers in the rooms, and the vanity outside the bathroom was nice but it had a small magnifying mirror that was broke so it faced down unless you held it up and the light on it didnt work, kind of pointless too have on a vanity.
Great room at a great price. We loved the view of the city from our room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Saw a show and went dancing at the Voodoo Lounge. Excellent venue/ Showroom and wonderful environment at Voodoo. Employees were all very nice.
The hotel is in need of major renovations. Save yourself the headache and uber fees, and just find a hotel on the strip or closer to your favorite attractions. 20min walk to the strip, over a freeway with homeless camps
This use to be one of my favorite properties, but the bean counters have slashed the parade in the sky and bankrupted all the restaurants that use to be in the Mardi Gras tower! Also shutting down Buzios and leasing out the space to Guy Fiero was a bad move! Too Doo steakhouse and lounge are still a top pick for me, but management needs to focus on hospitality and no put accounts in charge!
not bad at all. honestly, for the price, I cant complain. I did, however get a corner unit so maybe i just so happened to get a good room but it was super spacious. Look, youre not going to get a super modern room like at the cosmo but you get more than what you pay for.
Another hotel casino with many conveniences and attractions but everything is at a 50% to 100% cost premium, including the resort fees which can double the price of their inexpensive rooms. The Rio does have free and easy parking and spacious hotel rooms. Perhaps another company will buy this property from Caesars and change the prices to compete with the Gold Coast across the street.
The Rio is a really great Hotel! The staff is always friendly and sincere! I also prefer being off the main strip, because it makes gambling and dining a lot more affordable. There is a Starbucks conveniently located about 50 feet from the elevators, and some great food options. My favorite part is that the Comedy Cellar is here!! What an incredible show!
I love the rio... i love las vegas ...however...if you have an event and waive resort fees then how u can charge $14.99 for wifi is just sick when i can get free wifi at mcdonalds!! Ugh!! The Buffet was the worst buffet in vegas as they charged quite a lot for the buffet + seafood and being from fl we know our seafood!! When crab legs don't crack only bend THEY R NOT GOOD !! When seafood smells like seafood ITS NOT GOOD!!! Incredibly disappointing when in vegas and when paying so much for a meal we shouldn't feel sick after eating!!! Rio used to have evening call serving frozen drinks at reasonable prices then couple yrs ago they let the zebra frozen drinks place move in and now there biggest cocktail runs $50 co.pared to $20 (including tip and extra shot) from evening call!! If you want a good buffet go across the street to gold coast breakfast lunch and dinner really fair pricing & reasonable priced meals gold coast TGIF (open 24 hrs) or subway. Rio hash house a go go closes at 1 during week and 3 during weekends which linx hash house is 24/7 ugh!! Love Guy Fieri's margaritas love voodoo lounge view and cocktails except cocktails are $15 & up and the infamous voodoo drink is $50 wth rio!!! Love the room sizes. Love deli and smash mouth for cheaper meals but Vegas needs to wake up .... food used to be almost free in Vegas to bring people to Vegas to gamble now u charge to much for food and keep more momey for food less money to gamble its backwards!!! parking is thankfully still free at rio but im sure they charge to park your car + tips so i park myself !! Food should be more reasonable and wifi should be free throughout your resort we pay plenty to stay and we give plenty to casino the least they could do is provide free wifi and cheap food !!
Great suites.. not a whole lot to do besides the casino.
Stayed on business, and it suited my needs. I had a mountain view with 2 beds. Some minor updates are needed in the rooms (for example, accessibility of outlets, adding USB outlets, etc). Will stay here again.
Amazing view on top of Vodoo lounge. I will definitely go back.
The Voodoo Lounge has a spectacular view of the strip. There were two balcony sections and we were able to access the lower balcony because we purchase zip line tickets. The zip line was a 30 sec ride and lots of fun. It felt very safe and the staff were very entertaining to create excitement for the ride.
Nice hotel.
The renovated rooms are very comfy and nice. The older rooms, well... they need the renovation:)
Room/casino very clean.
Poker room at the smaller side, but ok.
Easy to reach with rideshare.
I love the Rio going back in may will miss it once it's no longer caesars
Good hotel with casino and restaurants in the lobby. The Buracho Burro has great food and margaritas. The Chinese restaurant was ok but there is a weird smell when you enter the dining area. The DJ's play great music and the bar in the lobby has great service. The location is off the strip but close.
Very nice casino resort. But restaurant prices are ridiculously over priced. Especially for the very low quality of food.
The Rio was awesome I didn't rent a room there but I loved the atmosphere and all the colorful people I meet
Paid for strip view. Didn't get it and was told its based on availability. No refund. Room is large but has no ammenities. $40 a day for resort fees and the resort is closed. So you pay $40 a day for Wi-Fi. Bait and switch prices. Its a really tall Motel 6 but motel 6 has better service. Will definitely never stay at the Rio again and will dissuade any one else from staying here.
Had the time of my life, and I even got to meet Penn and Teller!!!! This place has definitely kept up with the times, needless to say, I was very under dressed for this swanky hotel and casino. Easy 5 stars!
The Rio is a very nice hotel very good eating very good entertainment the voodoo zipline is incredibly fun fastest in the city a little short for my liking but it still was fun the glass elevator ride up 50 floors is pretty stunning a very good view of the city as you go up I recommend to go to the Voodoo Lounge on the top bar / nightclub what a view of the city good place highly recommended
When to the Convention center Cowboy Christmas exposition. Great selection.
Was alright, room a bit outdated, and no kettle, as they want you to buy the over priced Starbucks downstairs.
Casino was fine, everything you'd want and friendly staff.
AWFUL. We booked two rooms with two queen beds in November. It is May and they tell us they do not have one of the rooms, so they have to give us a king bed room and a two bed queen room. We got two king sized bed rooms. Asked for ur luggage. Didn t get it until the next day. We went without our luggage for 1 day. We had no clothes, no tooth paste, no phone chargers, nothing.
Nice & reputable hotel. Staff was awesome, friendly environment & not many crazy people.
Very worn down. Everything smells of stale smoke. Beds are falling apart, etc. Possibly worth the price, but tearing it down seems like a very good option.
A great choice for a budget stay in Vegas. We encountered a few issues with our stay, we did receive a free room upgrade however upon arrival to the room and had a stink. upon investigation we found an old baby bottle filled with milk. Also found a piece of a child's toy in the sheets suggesting they did not change them recently. Also try to order room service, coffee service for 2 for breakfast. It was an hour wait both days. You must take a taxi to anywhere you want to go visit not within walking distance to anywhere. Coffee in the morning is a hassle!
It's like home away from home for us but renovate or tear the place down dudes
I stayed at the hotel while I was in town for the football bowl game. Broken Lamp, broken door latch also. Staff was notified did nothing.
It's always an exciting time at the Rio. A1 service and amenities.
Pretty but not enough signs to point the way to various places
Amazing Atmosphere like when I say 5 Star I Mean 5 Star!
Very restful. You can get everything there. No more walking up and down the strip.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, and yet fairly affordable when it comes to the prices of hotels. The place is very big, it took me about an hour to figure out how to park, check-in, find the main desk, find my room, and get my luggage to the room. After I figured it all out, the rest of the stay was quite pleasant. Though breakfast is not included there are a number of places inside such as Starbucks where you can grab a coffee and a bite to eat.
You can tell that this place will be the location of the MLB stadium in a couple of years as no upgrades/improvements have been made in a while.
I didn't stay in the Rio but I had breakfast at Hash house a Go Go and their food was the best!! Service was great! No complaints!
Kiss adventure golf! Avoid if hungover, otherwise grant fun for all ages. The enthusiasm of the staff is to be commended!
Good price on rooms and off the strip but close enough to see everything
The room is fairly dated and the furnishings look like they have seen some thing; however it is quite roomy which is convenient for costume prep and repairs. Also the view is very underwhelming unless you are into loading docks. That aside, the event space is amazing. It is very spacious and the location is choice for exploring the strip. The Rio also hosts some really good eateries so that is very convenient. The dishes from Hash A Go Go could easily feed a couple and the Vietnamese place by the casino has great Bahn Mi. I'm not into gambling so I can't comment on most of the first floor.
The rooms were very large and nice. We had a cool mountain view. The casino was well kept and you could almost always find a waitress. Excellent dining options. Would recommend having a car if you stay here do you can drive to other hotels and the strip.
Wanted to meet up with the father in law for brunch before we heeded out so I googled some places and decided on hash house a go go at the Rio because I know there are non-egg options for me and also wanted to choose a hotel with free parking. Breakfast was excellent, the casino was clean and had a good variety of machines.. definitely fit our needs.
From a distance it looks amazing but once you are up close and personal you can see it is a bit dated. Pool area is nice, zipline from roof to roof is awesome. Have stayed a couple times once in newer building and once in older building. Just off the strip which is ok by me. Friendly staff and plenty to do on location and not to far from the rest of the action.
Nice enough rooms. Sink leaked, shower whistled while the water is on. The sliding doors to the tub barely work to open and close. Staff is not very friendly.
Fantastic place to stay!! Room was super large and very comfortable. The view is absolutely spectacular!!
I took em for some $$$....Great evening of gaming while in town hunting a fugitive :)
Great hotel with up scale villas. Casino was comparable to the better side of the strip. Pool was a GREAT atmosphere!
Now this place use to be the best off the strip establishment in the city. The Rio All-Suites Hotel and Casino had the best all you can eat seafood buffet west of the Mississippi now its no more, entertainment was once excellent, not anymore, To The Rio All-Suites Hotel!
It would be advised to go back to the beginning and serve the customer! Meaning....If your going to have a name which is associated with a particular place in another country, stand up to the hype- In Rio De Janeiro they have great carnivals to please there guest...This is what you should do...have a nice parade once a week, preferably on the weekends I bet you will get lots of guest weekly and another thing!!!!! Clean and remodel the hotel and rebrand it. This is a money pit. Sad to see it going to waste and its great potential, make the Rio fun again....with lots of costumes, bright colors, and great Brazilian music and food...
In the meantime I give you 3 stars....
Will not recommend until changes come.
I'm Sad,
Howard
Great place. I flew into Las Vegas after midnight and all I had was a $100 bill. I was hungry for a late night snack and worried that I wouldn't find anyone to break the big bill at that late hour, but they were very helpful.
First time visiting Las Vegas and first time at the Rio. It was amazing. The room was huge and the service was great. Everything about the hotel from the room to the service and just everything was outstanding.best vacation so far.
Came to see the Penn and Teller show. Great show with a great theater.
Drinks at the bar were a little slow, but the staff are dressed very festively and that makes it all worth while.
Love this place! Sits far enough off the strip to be quiet, yet close enough for all the action. Voodoo lounge is worth a visit, just be prepared to pay an arm and a leg if you order a drink. Although the bartender does make it entertaining to watch while he makes it - doing bottle flips and triple/quad bottle pouring. Penn and Teller show is worth checking out for sure, they are brilliant! I don't think they do the "Parade in the Sky" anymore, so that is a bummer. There is a fun little KISS store/museum/glow in the dark Mini-golf place that is kinda cool. Restaurants seemed okay - I didn't visit any. Of course, they have the standard issue Starbucks. (Seems that's a requirement these days, lol.)
Our group reserved about 12 rooms and all were below average. Mattresses very old and cradled in center. Couches even older cushions so flat they pretty much sunk into sofa bed frame at center.
Enjoyed my stay at Rio Hotel .. They upgraded my room and gave me a suite .. Loved my stay .. It's about a10 - 15 min walk to strip .. Living the High life at the Rio .
First the good, it s a huge property, there s a decent selection of bars, restaurants, and amenities. The bad, it s a bit old and run down. The toilet ran, the tub took and hour to drain, the handle falls off the shower etc. it s also one of those places that s cheap to book then you get hit with the $40 a night resort fee and everything inside is a little over priced. But a decent value and fairly good place
Have stayed here twice for 5 nights each time. The rooms are huge! One room we stayed in was a little decrepit, but it was clean and comfortable. I really enjoy the location. The pool area is really nice, it gets pretty busy but no biggie. Good selection of restaurants on site. The seafood buffet is incredible for the price. It was a very slow night when we went and the kitchen staff were putting out small batches of fresh hot food, spoons and utensils in the foods were constantly being replaced with clean ones. Food was being stirred to ensure proper holding temperatures. Associates were wiping things and all appeared very clean and well maintained. And they were friendly. Great job. We will be back for our 3rd visit next month.
This place is good but some of the rooms need to be remodeled. I dont agree with its name "rio all-suite hotel", all suites really??
WONDERFUL UPGRADE. SLIGHTLY OFF THE STRIP SO MUCH EASIER ARRIVING AND LEAVING. BUFFET WAS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE BEEN TOO. BARTENDERS COULD BE A LITTLE BIT MORE ENGAGING.
I miss the days when you gave the maitre di a tip and got the best seat in the house. When 100 dollars lasted all night and rooms were cheap or free... like you I resent the daily fees...
Besides being put in an already occupied room, we have had a very nice experience this far.
Rooms are very nice and rates, Sunday through Thursday are generally good. However, like most Las Vegas hotels you get charged a daily "Resort Fee" of $39.68. This in my opinion is a rip off, all it got us was wifi for two devices during our stay. It's unfortunate that the restaurants, while good, are so overpriced. My advice is to eat outside the hotel at local spots.
Stayed at the masquerade deluxe suite with the strip view. It was a good room. Rooms are not soundproof at all so having a gathering here sucks. Definitely try to look for another hotel if looking to throw a little party.
Definitely one of the better buffets ive had. We were looking forward to having seafood, but we went too early & missed it & didnt stay long enough for the change. I believe seafood comes out after 3p. I'd call to double check.
We have stayed here a couple of times. The staff are always nice. I only wish there was a way to avoid the smoke. We love the Kiss Mini Golf.
We went on a Tuesday. There was ample parking and quiet and desolate inside. The parking lot elevator moved slower than molasses when we went in and was not working at all when we were leaving. I'm pregnant and had to climb stairs in 109 degree weather- so I withheld a star. Otherwise the facility was clean, appeared to be well maintained and smelled nice and staff was friendly.
Great price for the money. Off strip buf nice casino.... Tammi was a delight in helping obtain our casi o cards but check in took 45 minutes. The all suite hotel was a nice change.
They really need to deep clean the rooms and the mattresses are so uncomfortable as if there more then 20 years old and the pillows so uncomfortable.
Had the best time. Clean rooms, wonderful service. I'm a night audit for a hotel myself. Great job guy's
The low key smell of sewer didn't seem to bother most people but I felt really sick. It's only in the area seat from the table games. The voodoo rooftop bar was pretty cool. I loved the views and had a great time dancing. I will go back to the Voodoo rooftop bar. The star rating is for the nausea from the sewer.
Nice and comfortable hotel.be careful for the breakfast included.actually it's not breakfast included, they give you a voucher of 9 dollars for Starbucks and cheapest coffee is of 6 dollars. Some staffs at the reception are very rude too.
I stayed here 2 times in a the last couple months . Very nice clean rooms . Masquerade tower suites are very spacious. The food at buffet was excellent . And staff was inviting and helpful .
I had so much fun great location and great place for a conversation
Spaciacious double bed room. The price was great on a Sunday evening/monday morning, when most other places were over priced or sold out. The shower pressure was the best I've had while staying in a hotel. The views of the mt ranges outside our window were beautiful especially if you are up early enough to see the sun rise or set. The parking situation is confusing if you have never been here. The garage in the front is solely for valet use.
The Rio Hotel and Casino is probably most well known for hosting the World Serries of Poker. But aside from that the Rio is very well located with arguably the best strip view there is. The hotel has a great vibe and has awesome venues, bars and other entertainment. If you're here on vacation you can't miss this place is awesome.
Nice hotel. We stayed at the Ipanema tower. Nice big room. Very seldom had black Jack tables for $5 minimum. If you are looking for better table minimum, you can walk across the street to Gold coast.
Friendly, big room for a great package price. Did not get around inside until last day, but plenty of food and drink options.
I love hotel and Penn and Taler place inside of it . Show was great!
Very clean and my room had a amazing view and we had a refrigerator
Penthouse suite with my Neice. Happy Birthday loved one. The Suite was roomy and luxurious..for a princess like you :)
Hotel was nice, spacious and clean. The issue dont use a credit card at the pool bar !!! My card was used fraudulently with no authorization from me or any calls back from hotel management. Watch for the spanish bar manager he seems to be the problem.
Rio is cool, the bartenders aren't as stingy as say the MGM where you must be playing with a club card and get one drink comped per $20 per 20 minutes.
