I was actually really happy I found a great deal on my insurance premium. I had my debit card ready and was going to pay online...HOWEVER when i googled this company...i read the reviews...Ive put my debit card swiftly back in my pocket. Thanks to all the people who left reviews.

SO RUDE! Guy on the phone basically called me a liar I am pregnant and therefore forgetful and he was so horrible and rude! DO NOT use this company they have no idea what customer service is. He literally spoke to me like I was an idiot kept cutting me off in the end I had to hang up on him. Booked with Admiral after who were so lovely and are a much better company!!!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Nothing but trouble after retrieving a car quote and paying 400 pound upfront deposit. Was quoted just under 2000 for the year.... due to a change in job they then said they would have to find anouther insurance provider to cover me... one minute I'm told I'm insured the next I'm not. After a week I rang them to find out they have found me an insurance provider to cover me but it's now 4000 a year.... double than what I was quoted. I told them to cancel they said I would be charged 75 for the week if been driving fair enough... but then they said im charged and additional 85 pound for cancelling.... cancelling what I was in the 14 day cooling off period and havent signed a finance agreement... still waiting for my money back surprise surprise not paid me. Will be complaing to trading standars and financial ombudsman avoid avoid avoid like the plague!! Never known anything like it.

Got a quote online, I was happy with it. Paid my deposit and paid the 1st month direct debit, only to receive a letter saying they are cancelling my car insurance due to not returning documents. I didn't receive any information that they needed all this proof of who I am until I got the cancellation letter. The only document I was told to send back was the direct debit confirming the payment each month.

I tried to phone them, to only hang up after waiting an hour. Then I thought I'll email them about the subject and see if there was anything I can do and I'll send the proof they needed. But, I'm still waiting for an email back. Will I get my money back or will they try to scan me even more?

If you need car insurance, best to stick with the big boys. They tell you straight from the off go what you need and want you need to send in.

Very expensive compared to other insurance companies. When you call your awaiting ages to get through. The advisors can be quite rude. Hence why i cancelled my car insurance with them and then had to pay a huge fee for cancelling. Never again.

I felt the need to highlight a positive experience with Right Choice given the extent of poor reviews here.

I selected their quote from a price comparison site, and although Right Choice do subsequently phone to check details, in my view it seems to be fair and with good reason.

Price comparison sites, as in my case, don't always provide sufficient opportunity for users to provide full and accurate information. In my case, the precise model of classic car wasn't listed (so I chose the nearest similar model), and no provision was made to divulge the value of a previous claim.

Right Choice called me the following day and we were able to correct those details. Admittedly the quote went up by around 20%, but to be fair if they hadn't called and had just taken my submitted information as 100% correct, then I may well unknowingly have have not been insured.

The issue is here is not with the individual insurance brokers, or indeed with dishonest consumers, the issue is seemingly with the system, whereby information collected by the price comparison sites is at risk of not being collected 100% accurately.

I have to give praise to Clayton at Right Choice who was more than willing to openly and honestly discuss the negative reviews submitted, it was a refreshing approach and on that basis I was more than happy to proceed with the purchase, also in the knowledge that the policy was underwritten by a well established and reputable firm.

I wonder how many poor reviews out there are actually a result of inaccurate information being handled by price comparison sites, rather than brokers who are inherently "dodgy".

And equally I wonder how many people out there are driving with insurance policies that will be null and void in the event of a claim, that would be made valid with a simple phone call to ensure accuracy.

So that's my tuppence-worth. Not many people can be bothered to write positive reviews, clearly angry people are generally more vocal, but for now I can say that the Right Choice approach seems sensible and honest.

Difficult to deal with and expensive. The premium is significantly more than on Compare the market regretably I was doing it at the end of a long day and missed it. Having said that the reason we are going to cancel it is their requirement for uploading photos of licences and DVLA check codes. We ve never had to do this before and have clean licences but its too much of a hassle.

Ok so here goes - 3 weeks before my car insurance ...

Ok so here goes - 3 weeks before my car insurance start date I thought I got a good deal with these people and so purchased the policy online. They immediately took the money out of my bank account (beware).



Now it has been 35 days and still no refund! No answers to phone calls nor response to emails. I will be instructing my bank to charge back the payment and will also make the relevant complaints to all the authorities- FCA, CMA etc.

Prospecive buyers beware of this very unprofessional cowboy outfit. I'm sure in instances where they take your money and you're covered and don't have to deal with them for 12 months everything will seem to be fine - but a mark of a decent company is how they behave when things don't go right.

Very helpful staff but it took me 4 times of phoning to actually get my policy activated. It seems like a technical problem with phone system rather than staff. Each time I went on hold the call dropped out and it involved going back through the whole switchboard to agent process and queuing again. Apart from that it seemed fine

Worst than worst insurance company to deal with. Customer care is at its worst. You will need very if not best of the best luck to get connected to advisers. They will never pick your call. I should have read the review before purchasing policy from these scammers. Avoid at all cost. If you have to pay few extra pounds please go ahead and spend it these company is ignorant and run away with you money which you thought is cheapest.

They may show up to be the cheapest quote online but they soon find ways to bump the total right up and bluff you into thinking that your lucky to be accepted ! If you need insurance quick , go for it but make sure you shop about for a better deal in the first 14 days . Loads out there !

they stolen money from my bank account. I accepted one transaction like 150 quit but they take 600 why? its not legal in this country! I canceled a insurance after 4 days and they charge me 370 quit for that.

Stealing money from the account does not ask about it, unprofessional service probably located in one room of the recipient because when connecting with one person you can hear how they send about you to the other one not to answer because you are angry. they speak on the phone when terminating the contract and the total cost of terminating the policy is 70 pounds and then they send you pennies to unpin.

I advise against thieves and unprofessional service for which you must wait forever

Waste of time and money. It s a shame I am insured with this company from last 7 years.
I have renewed my policy and agent Alex confirmed that it was renewed but I never received renewal documents and certificate. When I called to customer care team they can t find me in the system and having discussion with renewal team they can only see quotation. It was not process for the renewal but renewal money was deducted from my account and I also received a txt message saying thanks for renewal etc.
I am stuck at home and can t drive until I have insurance certificate.
Please extra careful when you renew or take new policy with RCIB. It s totally waste of time and money. Worst experience.

By this time cheaper policy found and they were advised of this over the phone when they finally called (of which the guys attitude stunk!) but low and behold they took my money anyway!! U have a green slip and that's it, and can take up to 6 weeks to recieve the v5. Then they want both sides of your driving licence with correct address on, after explaining I've just moved they didn't care and said they need it within the 14 days, so I said OK well I will need to cancel the policy, this was 24 hours into the policy by the way and they say OK well we can only refund you 70 pounds of the 150 that you paid because of admin fees and other charges incurred, what an absolute scam, AVOID!!!!!!
