Disgusting staff, appalling service. They are frau...

Disgusting staff, appalling service. They are fraudsters, they took my deposit. But after 14 days, on the 15th day there cancel my insurance knowing that I have passed my 14 day cancellation period. Took payment for a month I wasn't insured and cancellation fees. Called them today and I was passed around to 7 different departments. Staff called Alex is rude, unprofessional and poorly trained.

Update: They have refunded me back, but kept a small amount for the days I was insured. Anthony was very professional and dealt with angry customer well with calm manner.

They falsely sell cheap insurance on moneysupermarket, comparethemarket etc and willingly take a first months payment in advance. THIS is where the diarrhea nightmare begins.

Despite filling in all your details and paying first months premium you still gotta wait and call them to get your policy 'activated' as they say.

When you do call them they go through your details all over again as if starting a new quote (which they do), so after being put on hold for a good 40 minutes while Charlie from sales kicks back and drinks his sad cup of coffee you're told that either your job title had to be changed to be accepted or certain occupations won't be touched by their underwriter.

You're also told that you can only be accepted by an obscure underwriter with a premium much more expensive that what you already paid for. Borderline fraud much?

Getting the money back is another story, they'll tell you they're going to release the funds and to contact your bank to have the funds reinstated quicker, but surely you know the bank has no control at this point since the funds have left their side completely.

You then have to call them a good hundred times through the switchboard number and then explain your BS again only to be told they will fax your bank to release the funds, who sends a fax in 2018? Much less to a bank?

Terrible work guys, seriously. Anybody who works here should be ashamed of yourselves, you're a disgrace to your family.

Absoloutley terrible company . Yeah you get a cheap quote but that also buys you alot of hassle . Paid for my bike insurance .... they wanted document proof ... sent that over via email and on customer portal to receive numerous emails saying I needed to verify this that and other for me to send them "again" to no reply no nothing ... them I receive a email saying my insurance is cancelled and I have to contact the illusive customer care ... AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I found the quote on a comparison website for my Motorbike insurance and chose it because the first company didn't give the option for a pillion. Which, I specifically need on my policy as I carry a pillion 99% of the time. I also rang them, like I do when I quote for any insurance whether it be House, Car or Motorbike.







I truly believe that this company is out to fraud as many people as possible and by the looks of these reviews I have just read through, they are doing exactly that. Unfortunately, I didn't read any reviews prior to getting a quote, and that is my one piece of advice I give to anyone looking to go to this company for whatever insurance they need.

I REPEAT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE ABOUT THIS, FOR EXAMPLE A PLATFORM LIKE WATCHDOG ETC NEEDS TO KNOW. THEY CANNOT KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH THIS.

I'm pleased other people have had the rude tetchy phone calls, I was threatened 3 times with cancellation of my policy, after I had sent my documents 5 times and one with a conformation email saying that they had received them and then I had a rude woman phone me demanding I sent them then and there over email, I sent a picture of the confirmation email and didn't get an apology or anything when it was their wrong doing and not mine if your office is a shambles and your computer systems can't handle it, don't blame me, and it actually caused me a lot of distress

Rung to enforce the Insurance policy they changed the price in the call because they couldn't find me at my address!! was then stuck because I cancelled my last insurance, The new quote was more than last years, The deposit everything was more than the second best quote In front my own eyes, but I was stuck because I already payed via there site, being Saturday I wouldn't get the money back until Monday I've got my MOT booked for Sunday So didn't do me any favours at all, And the time on the phone when the call ended was 1Hr 21mins... Awful company. I expected my car to be insured with them but 11 days later they tell in a text I wasnt even insured until I'd talked to them so beware of that!!!!!!
Not only did they take 40 minutes to answer but they seem to intragate you. Wanting to know about my other cars I wasnt getting insured with them. All they needed to know was I insured other car. Then more personal questions that I've never been asked before. Then the chopping and changing between cars. My first and last time using them that's for sure I felt worn out by the time time I'd finished. Over a hour on the phone plus the 40 minute wait.

Arnold on the renewal team who dealt with call was very friendly, helpful and courteous. My telephone call was answered very quickly, all questions answered, and when I needed to wait for a quote to be formulated he offered to phone me back which was very considerate. I didn't have to wait too long for my return phone call which gave me time to price other quotes. I was pleased that I could stay with my current provider as their quote was the best and I've been very pleased with my service and rate over the past year.

Absolutely horrible experience, they took money and said that they will call us back. They also mentioned, if they couldn't confirm the details we will not be insured. GUESS HOW EASY IS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM? Called them every day of the week only to stay on the line for 45 mins and then get disconnected. Finally when I did speak to them they give us a much higher price than the one we initially were given. I think they should be banned from giving quotes on the comparisons websites. Please do yourself s a favoure and don't waste your time with RCIB. Absolutely waste of my two weeks time. I hope there was a ZERO stars option, I would have selected it.

I don't normally write reviews but I've come away soo upset that I've got to get it out and hopefully warn others....... This insurance company is really poor on customer service, they clearly only hire people that fit into that 'jack the lads' (and lady's) culture which would be perfectly fine if they treated there customers with some common courtesy. I spoke to a lady named Rachel Sandell from the adjustment and cancellation department and she was rude and condescending and her whole approach actually made me feel quite tearful. It was almost borderline abuse! I was trying to explain an alteration that I needed on my policy and she was jumping down my throat with questions as if I was withholding information from her. I was treated like some sort of criminal being investigated and that is just not right!

I've been with this insurance company for two years and as soon as my policy ends at the end of the year i will be looking elsewhere. They brand themselves as this cheap and cheerful company however there are all these hidden costs which are never made clear at the time of purchase or renewal. Management really need to put their staff through some customer service training as this really is unacceptable.

He was beyond rude to the point of being obnoxious about the fact that he could put the payment back but wouldn't. I've actually had good cover with RCIB, but make sure you take a day off when trying to call them, because they NEVER pick up but if they do, you get put on hold for anywhere between 10-30 minutes... Unacceptable

These scammers have just cancelled my policy even after going through the validation process on the phone! They charged more money and said eveything is fine but now sent me an email saying my policy is cancelled. AVOID at all cost! Complain to the FCA, Ombudsman and the watchdog.

Spent a lot of the time on the phone but worth it in the end, Kirsty helped me get a cheaper quote and all ran smoothly! Worth it in the end after being spooked by varied reviews. In the end it was the cheapest and was all sorted with no issues, the cheapest isn t always the easiest, depends if you have time or money on your hands.

The price was excellent but the process to get the policy activated was around 30 minutes long with information being repeated two or three times including a verbal verification of all the data I put in online. The lady I dealt with was lovely but it was just too long.

Avoid this insurance company. They draw you in with the cheapest prices on price comparison websites then days later they move all the goalposts and increase your premium leaving you unable to back out without a big admin fee. Note: If you opt to pay monthly they use a 3rd party finance company.



They use Google maps to check out your home address and then argue the toss about your property's features. Apparently they think the large securely gated driveway at my own home where we have several other vehicles is classed as a public car park. Yes, really!. They increased my premium as they said it was public and then argued they wanted photographs from me to prove otherwise. Absolutely unbelievable.

Yes, Right Choice seem cheap and attractive to start with but once they've got you caught in their web they will nit pick away and try to find anything to get you to pay more.

I had to chase and chase and chase to get the insurance certificate and after 4months I was still waiting for the payment schedule from their '3rd party finance company'. Luckily I've never had to go through their claims process, which if their sign up process is anything to go by will be an absolute nightmare.



My advice is don't go with the cheapest quote from an unknown company/underwriter and completely avoid price comparison websites. Once they've finished interrogating you you will only end up spending more or less the same as going with a proper reputable insurance company anyway - so just do that to start with.

This is an insurance company for people who don't know about insurance.

Not the Right Choice for me. Avoid.

1hr20 minutes before I spoke to the person I'd actually tried to contact, sent documentation but not reply confirming despite me asking. Documentation required they send to customers got send to a completely different email, only use them as they quote was well priced. Not great guys!

Update, trying to ring on the 10/02/2019 and as shown below 46 minutes without my call being taken. Yet despite this the auto message tells me my call is important to them, what a shambles of a company!

Look no further read all the reviews and my personal experience with this cowboy insurance broker.

Please do not trust your money or waste your time with this company. I was on the phone to them in total for 12 hours. On a number of occasions i would be on hold for 90 mins until someone would pick up. Even after this long awaited wait, there was no apology and the phone would be put down. All of there staff are rude and totally unprofessional.


I then got in touch with the MIB who have the details for every claim and insurance company, who told me their was no such claim i was part off. I then called RIC back which took another hour, went through my whole quote again and made them aware of what the MIB had informed me with a possibility of sending them a confirmation that the MIB had provided me with confirming there is no such thing on the database. One of the managers at RIC had then provided me with the number plate of the car i was apparently driving. I then dug deep only to find out i was a witness of an accident involving this number plate.

These people are liars and will find anything to double up your quote. I wouldn t be surprised if they were to cancel your policy after paying the full annual premium. I will be raising a complaint with the company regarding my experience and all the time lost. I will also inform Go Compare and the Motor insurance Bureau (MIB) and build a case on them to take forward to the Financial Ombusment service and the FCA.

Please please be very careful with this company and do share your experience. With this we can help the public not be scammed with insurance premiums.
