Riders Plus Insurance Reviews

The worst services ever, remember these guys are broker not the actual insurance company. They dont even know when ur first and last payment would come out. If you call the insurance company, they will tell you to speak with your broker. The broker dont even have any knowledge. My two payment were flopped because of these guys, It didnt hurt my record, but 21 days later after signing up I cancelled them. If they are this poor on services, I can just imagine them in emergencies. Good Luck!! If your planning to use them. My best wishes are with you.

I spoke to Leon by email on Sept 10, 2020 and by phone on Sept 11, 2020; he was extremely courteous, quick, and professional. The process was quick and easy and my son received his insurance on Sept 11, 2020. The rates are extremely reasonable, even for new riders. I highly recommend Ridersplus for your insurance needs. Definitely a 5 star company for sure!!!

Talked to Gary ,was very nice guy, gave me a great quote especially when they were closing at 5:00pm , and it was 4:45 he got back to me right away, and even got back to me , on a Saturday long weekend , and said he would send it on Monday all good thanks again , # number one insurance. Hi its me again I just wanted to let you know I called to ask questions about my bikes because they are both insured with you and was very pleased to get to talk to Charmaine she was so polite and helpful and just wanted to thank you again for the great service just updated today for I haven t been able to have any time lately 04/05/21

Total BS ! I'm 48 years old, M licensed for 20 years, live up north outside of Barrie and they want 1200 bucks for insurance on a sport touring motorcycle that will only be ridden 6 months of the year if that. RIPOFF

I found my experience to be frustrating! I had to follow and suggest a solution which I received from another insurance broker. Only reason I went with this company is because of the price. I hope I didn't make a mistake and that it was the agent I dealt with and it won't be indicative of my future dealings.

I thought this was traditionally for motor cycle coverage but they offered great auto insurance options. I was recommended by a friend and would pass on the rec.

tried to cancel my insurance becuase i lost my job.... i have 4 months from now paid up ... and they said in order for me to stop payments id have to forfit those months iv paid for ... and id get 28$ back from the 800 i paid them extra... dont get insurance here..

the people are great spoke to someone named sarah she deserves a raise....

but they need to put these things in the packet they send you when you offer to buy insurance from them.... its a shame this was the only company that i could go with because im under 25 and male... no tickets no record no claims

I love Riders Plus! the best insurance company out there, they are fast friendly and fantastic. They got me covered in just a few hours so I could enjoy riding the beautiful weather on my now fully covered Ducati. I can't wait to recommend them to all my friends and family if your on the fence get off and join the club !!! I especially want to write a special mention to ****Charmaine*** and ***Candice*** who did an awesome job going above and beyond my expectations they were knowledgeable friendly and professional. I hope they both get big raises for their hard work. Right away I recognized the voice from last year when I called to renew . The reason why I recognized the voice is because we had such a great chat the last time . Fantastic customer service. I originally was going to insure my motorcycle with a company that myself/my family have been with for years since it was a little cheaper than what Riders Plus quoted me. After being on hold with them for hours and hours without speaking to anyone I finally made the smart decision to call Riders Plus back. My call was answered immediately and I was put on hold for maybe 10 seconds while they transferred me to a representative. Leon was able to get my insurance started very quickly so I could get on the road. Since first speaking to Leon, he has answered all my questions quickly and effectively. The people at Riders Plus genuinely care about providing great customer service. The price was still very reasonable, and definitely much cheaper than 99% of every other company I contacted, especially considering I am a 23 year old first time rider. Couldn't be happier with the service I was provided. Definitely recommended.

Spoke to Judy about my car insurance. She was super helpful gave me insight that most other companies do not give such as how area change rates and even helped me change my policy so That I pay less since I work from home.

I sent an email this morning to ask a question about our motorcycle policy. I received a call back within half an hour from Dorothy who was very helpful, answered my questions and made me feel comfortable with the answers by providing me with an example that was easy to understand. I would recommend this company to anyone who has a motorcycle, their prices are very competitive and their customer service is awesome.

I ve used Riders Plus since I first purchased my motorcycle in 2019. My RIBO, Tania, was always willing to help and get me the best price possible.

I ve upgraded my bike, added a car to my policies, and haven t turned my back on Riders Plus because I ve always been satisfied with the performance and responsiveness of their agents.

I was helped by Scott MacDuff this time around as I imagine Tania was busy but I was very happy to have received a call-back within 12 hours. Scott was efficient and helpful and transferred my policy to my new bike in 10 minutes! I ve got my temporary slips and confirmation of new policy which is awesome.

They gave me a quote which was really fair so i spent over $3000 on repairs and gear for the bike they quoted me on, called in to confirm the price as i was getting ready to insure it and they tell me they messed up my birth year and its now a crazy price over 10k. Couldve spent the money on repairs on a new bike instead but because of this i need to go even more out of pocket just to get a bike to be avle to afford and ridebfor the season. Thanks guys!

These aren't riders, but a bunch of bureaucrats who falsely claim to be riders. They only insure bikes they consider NO risk. Regardless that I have over 35 years of riding experience, no accidents, no tickets and I am M/C instructor is all negated because I own a sport bike and actually ride. What they want for customers are people who own M/Cs but don't ride them (have them locked up in a vault) and if they take them out do so on the back of a trailer (so the car insurance will cover any damage. Utterly useless!!!

I have been with Riders Plus for a few years now. Never any problems or concerns with them. They have always gone above and beyond my expectations. Charmaine was very professional and extremely knowledgable, and that is so comforting in todays chaotic situation. I would highly recommend Riders Plus to new riders as well as the seasoned riders.

Let s just say that I m a faithful client to my broker; I was with my previous broker for 12+ yrs. I am not your average client and have been known to go through vehicles like some people do coffee mugs. I was informed of Riders Plus when I was quoted a ridiculous amount of motorcycle insurance and was blown away by the immediate savings with respect to home, auto and motorcycle. Given the savings were so extreme I had no choice but to leave my previous broker, since that time I have found that Judy and Ashna have gone above and beyond to satisfy my insurance needs with prompt, friendly and knowledgeable service. Although I have not been with them long, it is without any hesitation or apprehension that I refer and recommend anyone and everyone I speak to about insurance. I try not to think about how much money I have thrown away over the years by not having acquired Riders Plus sooner. Don t make the same mistake as me and get on board ASAP!! From the initial contact to the signing, Ashna Sodar made the process very easy. Emails were quick and professional.

Overall, a good insurer. I've been using them to insure my bike (now more than one) for many years. There is an online option to request a call back which seems to have gotten lost in their system somewhere. However, when I actually called them my wait time was minimal.
I recommend them.

Of the 8 companies I called looking for motorcycle insurance, They were the most professional and painless. I initially worked with Gary and he was easy to work with and had great suggestions. Scott Tefler at Riders Plus was above and beyond amazing! Not only did he spend more than 40 minutes over the phone discussing all my insuring options but found me the best quote I could find anywhere for my motorcycle! I called 15+ insurance companies and most of them said I needed an active policy and life insurance etc... but Scott took care of me and my friend and really made us feel comfortable. Another one who got turned down for a sport bike. I COMPLETELY agree... if your calling yourself a MOTORCYCLE insurance broker... you should insure ALL motorcycles. I can get insurance from my OWN broker for other bikes... i came here because i have a sport bike and you are "bike insurance experts"... what a joke.
