This business has been around here for a long time and specialises in audio/video kit. They have an extensive range and specialist items that might be difficult to source elsewhere. They have knowledgeable staff on site and that can make it very helpful.

I bought a Bluetooth speaker here on recommendation from the manager, Phil, and had it delivered same day. Very happy with the speaker and the service was first rate.

Charlie / Steve - are top drawer. Diligent, helpful, patient hifi experts. I bought Arcam and Focal kit a fortnight ago with 100% of Charlie's time pre Christmas for a 90 minute kit demo in store. I have a couple of questions, we are speaking on the phone on Boxing Day ahead of the store opening. Then Steve comes to our house - an hour on the train out of London - and spends an hour ironing out issues. Real teamwork.

I don't say this lightly - Richer Sounds is more like John Lewis than John Lewis! Bravo.

They were able to take payment for my headphones and get them in a month later, they were very easy to communicate with and got them to me as soon as possible.

I had a fantastic experience in store buying a oled tv, but before completation of purchase we talk about possible price reduction in next days.
On the day after, another shop reduced the price, I contacted Richer Sounds as they advertise they will beat the price in next 7 days after purchase, but because I bought as finance they said they couldn't do anything.
The experience in store was great, but I would like to be informed about this in advance.

Overall good experience, with kind, quick, and helpful service:

Bought "a-JAYS One" headphones that started having a bad connection and malfunction circa 6 months after purchase. When I went to the store the replacement was handled immediately and smoothly.

Too bad that the material failed, but good service in the replacement.

Called beforehand to confirm stock was available as this was "clearance stock".

On the website, there is a warning to say some [items] may be ex-display or ex-repair or missing accessories

It does not say items may have been used for "about 5 months" in the staff office.

Nor did it say they would be covered in desk lint, scratched and despite being reserved hours before, not even given a wipe clean.

No apology despite a 25 minute journey to get to the shop.

The Sales assistants name was Mike. He wears a 'Top Seller' badge.

My worst customer experience of the year so far, in any shop, in any country.

Going through my second AV upgrade with them. I would have given these guys more stars if I could. Professional, custom tailored and all in all outstanding service which makes you actually feel cared for.

In the UK if you attempt to shop anywhere else for AV equipment you do at your own peril. Richer Sound really knows their items and almost every staff member is an enthusiast themselves. This branch has a great backroom with lots of test equipment and for a small shop quite a selection you can just view. My next big purchase will certainly be from there.

Absolutely best in class customer service and products. From day one were helpful and working out what i needed and offered the best product at my price level and was no overselling. Delivery was ordered on a certain day and had update calls for when would arrive. A piece was missing from the manufacturer and they personally came round to deliver it and help me out, doubt you'd get that kind of service from any of the bigger competitors. Lovely staff who really care and feels like a proper family business. Can't speak higher of them and also Steve their rep in London Bridge store who is a true asset to the company. Would use them again and highly recommend due to above experience.

I have experience of buying audio visual equipment from independent specialists, John Lewis and mass-market chains. My experience of Richer Sounds has me rating them equal to the independent specialists.

Knowledge is excellent, customer care excellent, friendliness and helpfulness, excellent.

Visiting their stores at busy times will likely result in a less complete service as they do get very busy indeed. If at all possible, visit outside of peak hours if you want the benefit of talking through your wants and needs and benefitting from their advice.

As a returning customer once again they gave me exceptional service from start to finish. Give them a try.

They pack a surprising range of products in to such a small store. The staff were friendly and helpful, despite the store being busy.

Simon had the advice I needed and even took a little extra off the clearance item I bought as the price on similar items had recently dropped. Where else have you had a shop give money off unprompted!

If you're looking to hear a few options, it might be better to book an appointment which they seemed happy to do when another customer asked.

I live in France and I was over in London, I passed by Richer Sounds and walked in with a question. I have a problem with the setup of my music system and wondered if they could help.

I had no photos to show them how it was setup, and I did not have the equipment with me. However, Simon took his time to help me despite him knowing there would be no sale.

He did have my deck in their shop, so he took me to it and showed me everything he could.

When i was looking to buy some multi-room speakers a number of my friends suggested trying Richer Sounds for their product knowledge.

So I went along to two branches and bought my pair of Sonos speakers after some guidance from the London Bridge team.

All so far so good. Unfortunately there was an issue with my delivery (nothing to do with RS) and Phil and team handled it brilliantly. They went well well beyond what is excellent customer service and got my speakers to me by the time of my party. This involved multiple couriers and was during this recent virus crisis.

I CANNOT RECOMMEND RICHER SOUNDS AND THEIR FANTASTIC LONDON BRIDGE TEAM ENOUGH.

Buy from professionals that know their stuff and help out when things don't go to plan. Buy from Phil and team at the London Bridge Richer Sounds.

I've been lucky enough to be able to shop at Richer Sounds and in different parts of the UK.

After 16 years my audio equipment needed updating.

The staff at London Bridge were and are second to none (not that Bromley or Holborn aren't good!). Attentive replies to emails about stock, spec and price were swift (special mention to Phil). All the staff are super friendly, knowledgeable and not even slightly pushy.

As others have commented, I received a not insignificant impromptu discount. This when their prices was still the cheapest around. Delighted!

Pay them a visit - you're unlikely to be disappointed. If only all high Street retailers were like this.

Very bad service, Promised delivery on one day and delivered much later. Wanted to return the TV in 14 day peace of mid period, customer service say they would deduct 15% of total price, It was no written on on-line terms and conditions. He promised manager would call to discuss the issue but no one calls. Emailed the store with no response. TV deal also included Multi hub, which was not sent with item.
Sincere advice, not to buy from these people, I would prefer big stores line PC world / Curry's.

I bought my stero set for the turntable, very knowledgeable people and with consideration of budget.

Aways a great experience - staff at this branch are very friendly and helpful, not pushy at all, a very calm environment, one of the best places to come if unsure of what to by. Phil is particularly helpful and knowledgeable and inspired a lot of confidence. I'll never ever go back to Curry's again!

Customer service is a bit hit & miss. Not a true HiFi store

I wound not consider buying equipment anywhere else - bought numerous hi-fi equipment from them in the past and I have always got a very good value and a professional advice from the team.
Recently I had some problems with the amp which I have sent fro warranty repair - guys offered temporary loan equipment because the repair took longer than expected.

I had a great time here. I was testing out headphones and despite the store being busy, the staff were really helpful and had time for everyone. I would thoroughly recommend going to Richer Sounds if you're serious about the equipment that you're using!

Please don't recommend stores (M C Q Entertainment) with a substandard level of customer service. It makes you look bad.

Good service I got my smart to from here with 5 years extended warranty

We asked RIcher Sounds to take a look at our commercial sound installation as quality was poor and we were considering an upgrade. The engineer (Steve) came over within the hour and was great. He took time to assess what we had, then tweaked and sorted the sound quality without us needing to replace anything - we were really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism, not to mention his honesty when he said the system was fine, it just needed adjusting. When we do need to replace something, we'll be sure to be back!

Really nice customer service, but the shop is just so small. They barely have anything in there.

Staff are great - very friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to spend time answering questions and making suggestions.

Phil and the rest of the team are fantastic. I had some issues with the TV I purchased a few years ago (which was under warranty) and they dealt with it promptly keeping me in the loop at all times. Will be back.

If only all businesses ran like this! I went in to choose new stereo equipment after a gap of decades, during which I prioritised practicality over sound quality. Charlie played me some great speakers and didn't put me under pressure. He explained the technology of the AMP/DAC without mansplaining or patronising. I came home and did some googling then went back, without any sense of pressure. I listened some more and bought speakers and amp. The same day they delivered the showroom set so I could have my new gear for a party over the weekend, then a few days later my brand new purchase was swapped in by the installation team at no extra cost. The cabling and set up were more or less free. The installers, Steve and Russell, were efficient, helpful and very polite. They helped us get the most from the system using our phones, again, not patronising, just good old fashioned service. What a pleasure.

Yeah, this my choice for TV/audio stuff. A very helpful staff, a large variety of products, that you can test in the store. You can also ask sales manager to describe device and you will be happy to get such detailed feedback. Believe me, I was! 10/10 is my mark. Would like to recommend them everyone!
