I made the mistake of having my birthday and bridal shower here. My order was forgotten and then late and made poorly. The fries were overdone and greasy and the tomatoes were missing from the blt. I requested that the small 10$ sandwich be removed from the check since it was late and not good and I didn't get to eat with my guests. Please keep in mind, it was a large group and order. The owner/manager, Westin came out and was extremely rude and said he refused to remove it. He stated that he didn't care it was my birthday or bridal shower. The manager speaking with the group caused quite a large argument and a scene. Me and my guests were very shocked at how the manager was treating us and how rude he was acting. It was a horrible experience! I don't have the words to even describe how bad this all went down. One of the guests brought a small cake and the manager/owner said he would charge us to eat the cake at the place. We declined and he yelled at us saying that we were just mad about the cake which we were not. One of my friends face was red and was giggling because she was uncomfortable and he yelled, "you can sit there giggling all you want". In the conversation, some guests mentioned that we would not be recommending this place and he urged us to do that. I was surprised but decided to follow his advice so I'm here writing this review.
I cannot recommend this place and I will never ever return.
So, in the end, nothing was resolved. We left unhappy and we ate the small cake outside in the cold December weather.

Wonderful Savory Tea for me, Afternoon Tea for a companion and Cream Crab soup and Mussels for another companion. The tea sandwiches: egg salad, Coronation chicken salad and cucumber were yummy, as were the savory phylo dough tarts. Lovely scones with strawberry jam, clotted cream came in three styles: plain, cranberry orange and golden raisin. Two different full bodied teas were enjoyed as we lazily ate every bite of a sensational Tea experience. Loved it.

Service was bad on back patio. Asked for what was good. The watress told me what was bad and not to get. Ordered off the Happy hour menu, even pointed to the happy hour menu.. noticed on the check they charged for full dinner option and it wasn't good anyways. Really disappointed because this place was recommended. But it could be only a one time experience but I will not be back.

We hosted a bachelorette party here and it was lovely! The decor is classic and beautiful. The service was outstanding. The teas and food were top-notch. I would highly recommend a visit to Reynold's Tavern whether you've visiting Annapolis or have lived here your entire life!

Went to Reynolds Tavern with family to celebrate my mother's 75th birthday. Our server was great and the food was terrific. Many of us also mentioned how nice it was to dine somewhere that wasn't abnoxiously loud. We were able to talk and actually hear each other. Highly recommended. Thank you to everyone at Reynolds!!

Great burgers and fries. Good bar food. We enjoy their happy hour. Sitting on the patio during the Spring or Summer is relaxing. You do need to Park on West Street, Main Street, or some other nearby street.

Upon entry, the rooms are decorated very nice and cleanly. Staff is very polite and helpful. Service was great. We had the colonial high tea and assorted sandwiches and desserts. I recommend the french onion soup as it was made perfectly. I look forward to going back again.

Seated with 10 people outside, sat waiting for about 15 minutes to be served. We flagged down a server only on to be told they are short staffed, have wedding parties ongoing, and they won't wait on us; anything we want will have to be ordered from the bar. We spoke with the manager who re-iterated that they were short staffed (on a Saturday night) and they don't want to provide substandard service. As a former restaurant professional, I would think this "manager" would have gone to greater lengths to service his customers up to and including taking our order himself. He was very pretentious and he knows nothing of proper customer service. I wouldn't hire him to wash dishes.

Stopped by for a late night drink while on vacation. Staff was really friendly, there was live music playing, and they had a great bar menu. We also grabbed a dessert plate that was reasonably priced and tasty! Lovely experience.

The food is always like 70% of what you really want, sort of hard to describe the constant near misses you will experience here. Ordered a salad and the waiter guessed they had ranch dressing and told me he thought that might be the only option (it wasn't). They can't split a check to save their lives so don't count in that. Service is often slow or inattentive and the cocktails leave you wanting more. HOWEVER, the atmosphere is great on the back patio and no one can mess up a beer. If you want to have a drink and a chat and want to pay too much for food that will only remind you of something better you had somewhere else, this is a good choice.

I live downtown and my boyfriend and I try a new place once a month so we tried Reynolds Tavern. The menu looked awesome and they have the outdoor seating so we thought it was perfect. However we were up all night going to the bathroom every hour-2 hours. Definitely food poisoning.

This place might seem a little bit weird, since it is a hotel and a restaurant, but the dining experience and food are actually great! My family ate outside in the courtyard with a live musicain that was great. Would definitely recommend.

Charming venue. We were going to have dinner but we were disappointed by the appetizers. Dry Chicken Medallions and half a fork full of pork on dry, crumbling corn bread pieces for the Ale Braised Pork. Only four tables were occupied and the service was extremely slow.

Arrived Sunday at 3, and waiter was MIA. After order was placed the waiter came back 20 minutes later to inform me that they were out of fish and chips. I then ordered a burger and my wife had ordered a Ruben. After 50 minutes my wife's Ruben came out, no burger. Another 5 minutes the burger arrived. When I complained to the manager he was not customer friendly and made excuses about being busy. He only offered half off the burger price after storming away to speak to the owner. Never again.

We came here for our anniversary and loved it. The upstairs restaurant was quiet and mostly empty, which surprised us (I think we went on a Saturday at 6pm).

Our server was prompt and polite, and the food tasted delicious. Because it was a special night for us, they treated us to dessert and even wrote on the plate in chocolate. It was charming and thoughtful.

Great experience.

Absolutely loved this place. I enjoyed the tea, food, and service and would definitely come back for another visit. In fact, the tea is so good that I went back just to buy some loose leaf to take home.

Friendly staff, great food! This is not fast food but it is delicious, fairly priced and is a fun historic building. Good beer variety. Outdoor patio is really nice but only offers a limited menu, full menu inside dining.

Would love to tell you about the food but we never had a chance to eat. We made reservations....arrived on time. We sat for 20 minutes...no water, no waitress/ waiter...no acknowledgment. There were only two other tables that were just finishing their meals. We walked out...and we let them know why. No warm feeling from anyone. Enter at your own risk!

The 1737 Pub, (formerly "Sly Fox" pub), has remained relatively unchanged for decades, which most locals will agree is a good thing. 1737 is one of only two below street level pubs that exist in Annapolis, but is by far the one with the most historical feel. Easy to miss, but well worth finding, its low ceilings, oddly angled walls, rustic bar, and welcoming fireplace make it cozy place to stop for a pint during cooler months and into the winter. But its below ground construction also makes it invitingly cool in the summertime too!

My sons wedding reception was here on 9-14. What a wonderful place. Not only was the atmosphere unique the service we received was fantastic. Our waitress was great dodging in and out of children not dropping a thing and serving everyone with a smile. The good was delicious. And we loved the mixed matched plates. Can't wait to come back and stay overnight. Thank you to everyone that made this special day even more special

Went for afternoon tea, we were the only ones there. The staff was friendly, but because of COVID we had to wear masks when not at the table and the waitress scolded my daughter for forgetting her mask when she went to the bathroom (again, only people there). They no longer have the sugar cubes my daughter loves because of COVID, replaced with sugar packets. But we took a picture of the cute little tea cakes.

A really cool bar/pub in Annapolis. Cons: the seating is really cramped. And the food takes a while to come out when they are moderately busy. Pros: the live music some nights and good pub food. I recommend going in the middle of the week when it isn't too busy. But overall I liked it.

Terrible experience in the pub downstairs. My fiance and I walked in at maybe 6:45pm on a Sunday night (of President's Day weekend). The pub was about half full (if that). We find seats at one of the bars. About 5 minutes later we see a waiter/bartender and make eye contact...nothing. 5 Minutes later he walks passed us again...nothing. 5 minutes later a group comes and sits at the table next to us...He almost immediately walks over to them and gives them drink menus and says he will return to take orders. He ignores us again. We wait 5-10 more minutes with no staff talking to us (let alone taking drink orders) so we left. If he was busy that's fine (even though he didn't look busy and was happy to help other customers) but he could at least say hello and tell us he would be with us eventually. It was as if they did not want our business. Go elsewhere.

We had the tea service. Really great experience. Fantastic old building to explore and soak in the history. Friends have stayed at the Inn and highly recommend it. Looking forward to staying here.

I went here for tea a few years ago and loved it but our dinner was very disappointing. The crab dip had clearly been microwaved from frozen with a weird texture and not hot in the center. We sent it back and got the same with unmelted cheese on top. I ordered the Shepard's Pie which tasted good but again seemed microwaved with no browning at all. The sausage appetizer and bangers and mash we're tasty. For a place that claims to be fancy, it wasn't want I'd expected.

I took my girlfriend to Reynolds Tavern and we had a blast! The atmosphere is definitely that of a 1747 pub. The food was pretty food and the music was fun. Definitely a memorable place to go to!
