This place is pretty unique... the have tea time! We didn't go for that or actual for though, but it looked like so much fun. Will probably do next time, but the wine and dessert we had was good. The cute little tea dessert plate is a nice option for those who like to try a few things, but don't want all the leftovers. Service was good and they have a few domes outside to feel more covid safe and intimate. Server did such a good job of being covid safe and not stepping into the dome. Really liked this place.

We stopped in for lunch on a Saturday and they squeezed us in without a reservation.

The place is fantastic, dating back more than 200 years, you can really feel the history.

Service was polite and responsive.

But the real highlight was the food. We started with the fries and crab dip. Both great choices, but the dip was especially good.

I tried the salmon risotto and wow, it was incredible. We all tried each other's food and the risotto was the group favorite. The steak and frites was good but a bit on the salty side. The kids had a pasta dish with shrimp and sun dried tomatoes, also very good.

Price was very reasonable for the quality of the food, too. Less than 20 per person.

Without a reservation we didn't get into the outdoor private enclosed area, so I suggest planning ahead if you want one of those, at least on a weekend.

Overall the experience was fantastic. Highly recommend trying this place!

Literally 1747. One of my favorite historic buildings downtown Annapolis! So much history and the building has an awesome atmosphere from it's original brick and fire places, to the acoustics in the underground pub when live music is there. Good drinks and food!

We have been coming to pub 1747 for a while now and are so disappointed in the service lately. We ate there tonight and had to seek out our server multiple times for typical accommodations: silverware, ketchup, water, etc. I ordered soup only to have it come out after my entree and my boyfriend received his food 20 minutes after mine. We probably waited 45 minutes for my entree to come out and then another 20 for his. I went to the kitchen and spoke to the manager who said he would come speak to us and he never showed. Unfortunately, we will not be back to one of our so called favorites.

This is an awesome little place to come for tea time. My wife and I stopped in here on a whim after some house hunting and we really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's a very historic and charming building, and that's half the battle for something like tea time!

The tea and the food itself was all seriously delicious. One of the best selections and executions of tea foods I've had in a long time. The prices also aren't exorbitant so I know we'll back in the near future, and come here regularly once we're locals.

The only reason it lost a star is because the service was mediocre. The woman was nice enough, but initially wanted to seat us in the door and just gave us no welcoming feeling whatsoever.

I've been there a few times, one of them for my wedding reception. Everytime I've been there I've been greeted warmly and served perfectly. A wonderful tea time with my wife, she loves it and as they say; happy wife happy life!

The atmosphere here is wonderful, a tree-filled, cobblestone courtyard - a lovely place to spend an evening! The food, though, was uninteresting. My apple and goat cheese sandwich was on a plain and tasteless white bread - edible but not worth a second try. My friend got the wrong entree and got the crabcake instead, she said it was not good at all. Her desired entree was delivered 20 minutes later and was, like mine, lacking in flavor. The service was okay at best and it took over 10 minutes for us to find out waiter to let him know we had gotten the wrong entree. I would try again but would stick with the shrimp and grits and the andouille sausage which I have been assured are excellent.

The 1747 is a really cool basement pub that probably hasn t changed much since it was built in (you guessed it) 1747. In the summer, they have a spacious patio with live music. My only gripe is that the service at the patio has not been very good, but it s definitely worth checking out

Perfect - food, service, atmosphere - a wonderful night! A calm, stately but welcoming interior with lively big band music playing in the background. A pleasant, unhurried waitress with great recommendations. Delicious food, basics done very well with upscale accents. We'll definitely return - perhaps tomorrow night!

I visited with a group of friends for a tea luncheon. The finger sandwiches came in a flavorful variety, the scones were a perfect level of quiet sweetness, and the desserts were divine. There are many interesting artefacts around, and several interesting tea service pieces available for purchase. The staff was attentive and polite. I had a wonderful time and would love to visit again.

Beautiful beer garden, saw a performance by Annapolis Shakespeare Company here. Good selection of craft beers, the crab melt I had was delicious and the ambiance of the garden was wonderful. I would recommend it to family and friends and I will be back.

Stepping in here is like stepping back to the 1700s: brick floors and walls, low ceiling, and a fireplace! On a chill, windy, autumnal day, what better way to spend some time than sitting by the warm fire with wonderful friends, sipping tasty drinks?

We had a great time listening to music and munching on some Mussels and other appetizers on their outside patio. I had a few of their many craft beers too.The service was awesome our waitress was very attentive and sociable and was able to articulate all the items on their menu! We had a great Time!

We've been to this place several times. It's great! They're famous for their English tea service which is charming and delicious. They tend to be busy on the weekends especially during the summer so you may need a reservation. Also the cream of crab soup is tasty but also fairly rich. They also have sandwiches and other lunch and dinner food. The fries are good. My spouse likes their hamburgers. The building is also historic which ads to an interesting atmosphere.

Outdoor evening bartender is a rude angry little man. Dont like when he's there. Downstairs is awesome. Live performers are always great. Food is good. Overall good place...get rid of that bartender and it's almost perfect.

The location looks more of a private home, with no obvious front entrance. There was no seating space left inside, so we were told to exit and walk around the building to be seated outside. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to ask us for our drink order, and another 10 before we actually got the drinks. The food was nothing special, just regular pub fare with a higher price tag. The waiter then took about 15 minutes to process my card, while I watched him just standing at the kiosk. It definitely felt like service was not a priority.

I don't normally leave reviews but I just couldn't help it with this place. My brother decided to have his wedding reception here last month. It was nice to look at but other than that, a HUGE waste of money! The food was absolutely terrible and the service was even worse. We had a small party of less than 20 people, and they accommodated us with 3 employees. It took over 1 hour to just get a soda! My sister has a gall bladder issue and requested (before the food came out) that her risotto be as plain as possible. It came to her twice with cheese and veggies in it. The lady pretty much called my sister a liar saying that it was plain and when my sister put her fork in the risotto to show the woman, she said "you don't have to display it like that".... RUDE!!
and my sister never got another meal. Others had to share.
Absolutely crazy my brother spent so much money here. It was his wedding reception, they should have nothing but good memories.
RUDE STAFF, FOOD TERRIBLE AND A HUGE WASTE OF MONEY FOR AN OCCASSION

The mosquitos ate me up after I first got there so I moved. The tea tasted like water. They only had blue cheese dressing for the chicken wings and the crab dip could've been better. I will say that our waiter was amazing. He was very attentive and friendly and helped with the extra things my friend asked for.

I live in Annapolis and often take visitors to Reynolds Tavern. I went there yesterday with four guests - we had a reservation. While the food was good, the service was s-l-o-w. My companions were having lunch, but I decided on having tea with little sandwiches and a scone.
They all got their lunches, but I had to wait until they were ready for dessert. It was disappointing but I didn't want to make a scene, so I drank my tea and waited. There was only one server that I saw in the dining room. She was nice, but I was not happy with Reynolds Tavern this time.

We were super excited to try this place and we were VERY disappointed. If I could give zero reviews I would. We got there at 7:30 and didn t even get a drink until well after 8pm. Bread came at 8:30 along with appetizers and our food didn t arrive until almost 9:30. My husband and I got steak frites and while we ordered it medium it was basically raw and to top it off very cold. To add insult to injury we only got $10 off the entire meal with our friends who had equally bad service and food. I m super super embarrassed to have brought my friends from out of town to this restaurant we will definitely never be returning. On a positive note we stopped by Red Robin and got ice cream afterwards and that was amazing!

After stopping into Stan and Joe's and receiving horrible service, and then rams head (dogs not allowed on patio) I stopped into Reynolds and received suck humble service. The back patio welcomes dogs and has a nice chill vibe. They also do outdoor movie night which is cool. Food was great. Beer wise I definitely recommend the lunch box beer! Great peanut butter after taste. Waste your time stoping anywhere else. Come to Reynolds first!

It's difficult to find an entree that doesn't have alcohol or pork in it. Wife ordered File Mignon that was supposedly with red wine reduction. Unfortunately it wasn't. As appetizers we ordered scallops, which tasted as hand gloves. My entree was crab cakes which had been solid.

Cozy, quaint, and perfect for the light lunch fair we experienced. I wanted to take my friend visiting from Leicester, UK to a nice place for afternoon tea. I heard through word of mouth this place was a great place to go.

We certainly weren't disappointed! Our server Gabe gave us great information about the menu. The ham sandwiches and the cranberry orange scones were my favourite. I'll have to get more of the ham and cucumber sandwiches next time I'm there because the cucumber was just as good.

The Darjeeling was a wonderful blend that I highly recommend with just honey. I'm one of those tea heathens that drinks her tea without any sweetners or milk.

Pricing is reasonable because we were definitely satisfied and full from the lorraine quiche and afternoon tea savoury/sweet combo.

We even purchased some souvenirs on our way out and learned a little about the history from the manager of the place. I wish Google would let me rate 10 stars. We will definitely come back again. :D

1747 pub is a great little off the beaten path outdoor spot for quick pub food and drinks. The environment is casual and friendly and the staff is always wonderful. Feels more like a local spot as I don't seen many tourists make it down this particular alley.

Always love coming here for tea! The historic building is so charming, and it's such fun to sit inside and watch all the people go by. Also absolutely LOVE the wide variety of teas they have available. Great for a girl's day!

Reynolds Tavern was a great place to stay at. We never stayed at a B&B before and loved the experience. Stepping inside the place you feel as if your going back in time. The rooms are clean and very spacious and decorated with only antiques. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. The location was walking distance from multiple shops, restaurants and the boat docks. There is also a pub on the patio that served great food and had a nice and relaxing vibe. Would highly recommend staying at Reynolds and cant wait to visit again!

My husband and I love this place! We've already enjoyed tea time in their adorable tea room multiple times and recently had dinner on their terrace. The food is absolutely amazing and all servers are very nice. It's never hard to find parking nearby either.
