Terrible service, wait staff was extremely rude. When we addressed the owner he apologized but could offer nothing more. As a regular customer I am sad to say that I won t go back.

I went with a group for trivia. The food and drinks were delicious. The ambience was very historic!
Service was slow, we found the rooms small therefore loud convesations. The food was delicious
Dinner and drinks on the patio was very nice. Atmosphere was a full five stars. Our food was fine, but not mind-blowing. Will return!
Steak under cooked than over cooked, then refused to take off the bill. Too bad won t stay in business with that mentality.
No one greeted me. I had jury duty at the circuit court next door. The manager and employee saw me and looked. Then, they turned and continued their conversation. I was mortified.
It had a nice ambiance, but didn't like the food (a bit too greasie)
Outstanding historical tavern! Well worth a visit, and the food and tea rooms are excellent! Thanks
Would never recommend this place to anyone! My friends bridal shower was held here, she told the staff multiple times she had a food allergy. Not only was was her food brought out late, she was unable to eat her food due to her food allergy. After asking for the food to be comped from the bill, the manager refused and belittled my friend. I ve worked in several restaurant settings and have never experienced this. Please save your time and money and do not eat here.
A bar with great history! I was a little disappointed they were out of stock which they had listed, but since they have an extensive list, I found beers that were equally enjoyable. Overall a good experience!
Very cool outdoor dining area. Very decent beer selection and live music. Definitely worth checking out.
Looked nice from the outside, atmosphere kind of sucked.
Food and service were amazing. The tea service was impeccable and the selection of teas was outstanding! I can't wait to return!
Had an amazing Tea time here with my daughter. The service was great especially since it was our first time, the waiter explained everything as it was coming out. My daughter was thrilled to have a princess tea service!
We spent some time in the 1747 Pub because we were getting drinks. We talked with the other patrons and I found this was one of the friendlier places in Annapolis. The beers were cold and there was a Jaws movie marathon playing. What can be better than that? One answer: their crispy deviled eggs!
The Reynolds Tavern was a very pleasant experience! We got afternoon tea, after making a reservation in advance. You wouldn't believe that the little tea cakes could be so filling - we came in starving and left sated.
Love the 1747 Pub! Quaint historic tavern with great food! Love the outside patio during the warmer months. Dinner upstairs at Reynolds Tavern is delicious!!! Highly recommend!
Very cozy, good live entertainment, good service, nice options, unique spot in the basement of a B&B....oldest pub in MD, 275 yrs old
Excellent selection of teas and entres. Food was very good, though the finger sandwiches were unimpressive. Service was incredibly slow for our table of 6.
I love the Tavern for it's atmosphere and the wonderful selection of teas--it's always difficult to choose which one I want that day from the 30 or so options. I usually choose the Afternoon Tea, and have not been disappointed.
Service can be a bit slow, and the seating area can feel cozy or cramped depending on the number of guests, but this is still one of my favorite places.
I am so sorry to be writing this review because I truly loved Reynold's Tavern and over the years I have spent many birthdays and other happy moments here. However what should have been another happy memory was quickly turned sour this past Sunday. My lovely bridesmaids threw me an amazing bridal shower at Reynold's Tavern, a place that has always been close to my heart. My bridesmaids spent a great deal of money hosting a full tea for 26 guest, which brought the establishment a considerate amount of business for a Sunday evening. The first instance that should have been a red flag was that two of our guest were involved an accidents and were unable to attend, when my bridesmaid emailed her the evening prior we were told it was too late to amend the guest list and she would be required to pay for each of their portions, we were disappointed about that but we understood the policy and it was laid out in the contract, we were hoping they would be accommodating but business is business, but the next part was truly the straw that broke the camel's sad little back. As with any bridal shower, I had a beautiful bride to be cake and when it came time to cut the cake the establishment then told my maid of honor that there would be a $1.50 per slice of cake...now this was nowhere in their contract, this was never mentioned prior, and now at the moment we would be cutting the cake this was dropped on the girls. The money wasn't the issue, it was the poor management and rude customer service. My maid of honor asked if we could just cut the cake ourselves and she was told absolutely not, and my maid of honor kept pressing the issue about how she was never told about this and how there was no mention of it in her contract and the manager said "well who brings food to a restaurant"...ummmm you knew we would be renting your room for a bridal shower, what shower doesn't have a cake for the bride, why wouldn't you mention this at the time of booking or have it laid out in your rental contract? I am so upset that what should have been another happy memory at Reynolds has left a sour taste in my mouth, we have actually decided to not have our rehearsal dinner there as well, we feel our money should go to an establishment that better respects their patrons and also isn't trying to make a quick buck over something so silly and insignificant.
Did the afternoon tea and it was a great experience. The staff is knowledgeable and the service and food we're excellent.
Tea and scones fine. Service like fawlty towers it was so bad it was funny in the end.
1747 pub sits on probably one of the best locations in Annapolis. The beer garden is picturesque and relaxing. The basement bar is is straight out of a history book, cozy and patriotic. In short, this place could be phenomenal. Unfortunately, it s not. After multiple lunches, dinners, and nights at the bar I can safely say that it wasn t just a bad night or a fluke. The service is consistently marginal. It is wrought with sloppiness, rudeness and a general attitude of apathy for the patrons. These traits are rampant among the servers but one can tell that they actually trickle down from the management who elevate their game with the addition of being argumentative. With a top to bottom overhaul of the hospitality culture it would be a home run.
Really nice bar with an open fireplace, a good selection of local craft beer and a decent bar food menu.
Located in a nice spot and they have outside seating.
This place is adorable! They turned any girl's tea party dream into reality. The tavern itself is historic, having been constructed in 1747, making it the oldest tavern in Annapolis and one of the oldest in the US. It's conveniently located in the historic district.
The interior dining room is very elegant, reminiscent of the 18th century with china, portraits, teapots/teacups/spoons/etc placed around the room. I came here for a bridal shower, so the dining room was reserved for Afternoon Tea. Each table got an assortment of finger sandwiches, tarts, pastries, scones, and mini-cakes on a three-tier stand. Each table also got a pot of loose-leaf tea. I felt sophisticated and chic sipping tea in fine china and munching on scones and finger sandwiches like a proper lady. It all seems very affordable too; on the website, Afternoon Tea is $18 a person. This was a great idea for a bridal shower and I definitely want to come back.
I think the finger sandwiches and pastries were all decent enough, but what I really enjoyed was my tea. It was loose leaf, which I preferred, and fresh and flavorful. Reynolds Tavern's tea has been compared to that of England's - impressive! The tea and atmosphere were the best, most enjoyable parts of this experience and I can't wait to come back.
Love the social distancing Igloos. The afternoon teas in the tea room where a large choice of teas is served with small sandwiches and desserts is always nice.
The pub areas are also good for special occasions or just to meet friends.
I always love visiting Reynolds Tavern! Food is delicious and atmosphere is great!
We went to Afternoon Tea, it was hard to schedule the reservation because the online portal doesn't give you the option for early afternoon, so we thought it was booked. Overall, the experience was great, food was well portioned and freshly made, and tea was tasty. The English Garden Party was my favorite.
Always enjoy the afternoon tea service at Reynold's Tavern. Have used this location for bridal showers, farewell parties, etc. The decor adds to the charm. Have always gotten great service from the staff. Despite size of group and multiple requests, they're unflappable. Great selection of teas, delicious scones, soups, quiches, sandwiches and other food items.
Fantastic Mother's Day afternoon tea with my mother and daughter. The wait staff was extremely attentive and made us feel so special. I hope to go back again next year!
The Princess Tea was wonderful and the Mr. D'Arcy blend was worth the extra $. Lovely place to spend a relaxing afternoon.
Great beer garden. Nice variety, today's server was extremely friendly and outgoing. He also made great suggestions on the beers. (Sorry didn't get his name)
Went on trivia night (Monday). Arrived late and was seated far from the host, who I couldn't hear even with speakers. Servers seemed to forget our table; took forever to place our order or get the bill. Not much on the menu appealed to me, though what we got (wings and crab cake sandwich) was fine.
The mussels did not have enough brought to put my bread into suck up juice. Disappointed but it tast good
Wonderful food and cocktails! Great garden outside and live music on Saturdays.
Very good food and great service. Good cocktails but the wine selection was a bit lacking considering everything else. It's in a beautiful historic building and does tea service as well as lunch and dinner. They are a true tavern and have a few rooms available upstairs, though we were only there for dinner.
Love this place for a drink and a quick drink downstairs in the Tavern.
