Beautiful scenery and great skiing. The rooms aren't very soundproof, however. There are a lot of options for dining and entertainment. Overall, it was a very pleasurable experience.

Lovely pool and three hot tubs! Great water slide as well!
Stayed here in the summer. It's a great resort and has a water slide. Close to the village and has a free shuttle that runs back and forth. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Amazing views towards the golf course
Went to the Resort at Squaw Creek while up visiting my in laws in the winter. We walked around the resort with ice skating in the back with views of Squaw Mountain. My wife and I went to Sandys Pub to grab lunch and had some great bar food. Nachos were huge for the 2 of us and the pretzel was awesome with some great dipping sauce. I can t wait to go back.
Beautiful Resort with Amazing Vistas
I've only been to this lovely place towards the end of summer for a corporate event - I can imagine winter would be gorgeous too.
The location is great - the views from all over the resort including the rooms is just fantastic. Plenty of outdoor stuff to do around the place and it's a short drive to the lake.
I stayed in the fireplace suite which was spacious and well furnished. Staff service was great accommodating our large party well. The lobby has great views and has the look for luxury with a rustic charm. The little outdoor shops and starbucks are nice too
The meals were all pre-planned for our party (buffets and sit down dinner) - but the food was delicious. The patio area was perfect for a cocktail event. Overall a great luxury resort in the Tahoe area - either for family, friends or business.
The Squaw Creek resort has hosted our company ski trip for the last several years, and it's excellent every time. The rooms are comfy and generally great. The lift is right outside the door, no need to drive. They have all the shops and food you need in a ski trip, as well as a spa area. More or less everything you need for a ski trip!
Great location with amazing amenities. Great for families with small children.
Absolutely one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at!
The resort is amazing. The views of the surrounding mountains are just stunning. Everyone there went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay and we certainly did. The restaurants on resort have some tasty food which made it easy to have a few quiet nights in. Tahoe City is only a short drive down the road which has great options itself.
There rooms are small and doesn't keep heat inside BUT the resort is big and beautiful with tons of fireplaces, activities such as skiing, sledding or skating there's also a mini golf course children's play area (boardgames) there's probably more. There's also transport to take you to skaw valley.
Great drinks at Sandy's pub but really wish they would bring back shuffle board!
Great amenities, good service. It's a little remote and there's nowhere really walkable nearby, but they have a water slide! Also fast WiFi internet
Great resort but there weren't enough cleaning staff, our room didn't get cleaned until 5pm almost every day!
Beautiful views and rooms with great service and a stunning outdoor area and lobby. The fitness center, heated outdoor pool, multiple jacuzzis, and both sauna and steam room are perfect for ultimate relaxation, and you can hit the slopes right at the base of the hotel it you want to ski or snow board. The restaurants have great food and drinks. Try the pubs version of a Moscow mule and their honey mustard wings. Also try the breakfast buffet for tons of yummy food and beautiful views of the mountain while you eat. The resort is a winter wonderland during the holidays, with lots of decor and even an ice skating rink for the kiddies.
Nice hotel with some good restaurants and a great location. Overall experience was decent but the rooms are pretty dated for the price.
Fantastic views, luxury setting
Dog friendly. Couldn't ask for more
Great place for relaxation! The resort was not busy and the staff was very helpful when needed. Beautiful resort and I highly recommend to go to.
The room are great and the hotel has lots of options.
Beautiful resort! I will be attending a wedding here in July and can't wait!
One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at! Great service, awesome views everywhere you looked, the pools, the taxi service to the olympic village, All amazing. One of the best vacations we had. Came home recharged :)
Great views, great customer service. Love the ski out lift right outside.
Beautiful high end resort that's perfect for a family ski trip. Cindy the consceire staff are amazing!
Rooms were a bit lacking for the price, but staff is incredible as is the location
I like Square Creek because it is self contained. Good shops but Cher. $$$$ the service is excellent and all the products are of the highest quality. There restaurants of very and vary based upon which one is on. Also a real good breakfast.
This is Fire Lookout. It's a short distance (Crystal Bay) from the Resort at Squaw Creek and well worth the visit. It's beautiful, and the trail is paved, and very nice to walk.
Fantastic resort in Squaw Valley near Lake Tahoe. Sooo beautiful!
Stunning locations Nd the hotel is first class. Great food and the staff were all great. Recommend for team events.
Ski in, ski out. Or, hot chocolate waiting at the shuttle to the village. Heated pool, 3 hot tubs. Spa services. Great lounge with big fireplace, live music, games, cocktails. Many on-site dining options. We love it here!
Warm environment, old Olympics have been made here.
The rooms were nice and spacious. There is a lift right at the resort. The only con is that the resort is away from the village and you are dependent on the shuttle.
My first time in Squaw Valley. The resort is beautiful and there's plenty of skiing to be done, taking a lift straight from the resort. And even when the weather is not perfect, the resort has plenty of indoor amenities to keep you busy.
Hands down the most luxurious hotel-resort in Squaw Valley, and one of the best I've been to in the greater Tahoe area. The lobby and lounge area is impressive, especially around the holidays (amazing Christmas tree setup). During the winter, the pool area becomes a family-friendly ice rink.
Beautiful lobby space. Rooms are ok, but a little dark. The pool area is a bit cramped but beautiful views.
Sandy s Pub - best view and food, high quality. Sydney, our waitress, made it even better, very cheerful, helpful and friendly. Margaritas are the best I ve ever had. You should go here!!!
This place is amazing. Beautiful views, and amazing weather. Customer service is awesome
Only fond memories in this place. Our family had a great time. I enjoyed the convenience of just walking outside of our room to play in the snow. Or seeing the kids play from our window. Not having to drive anywhere was the best part of this location.
Great resort with comfortable accommodations and attentive people. Just in day 1 of 3, but expect the same great experience going forward.
Just awesome! Beautiful setting, cozy feeling, great outdoor pools and spa facilities.
Rooms are large and roomy, and the views are spectacular, golf course is hard, but a must play.
Decided to stop here for their breakfast buffet, but didn't stay overnight. I loved the omelet station! However, this was a difficult breakfast for someone on the Paleo diet. Lots of bread, cheese and yogurt. Smoothies were not fresh, just concentrated juice. It was great that they offered fruit, but it was old fruit that had been sitting out for days. Seemed overpriced for the quality.
This place was so lovely. The $5 resort credit for foregoing housekeeping was also a pretty great gig.
1st time visiting this resort....absolutely stunning vistas, great staff.....if you ever have the chance treat yourself to a weekend or longer.
Wonderful village and resort to accompany the slopes. Tons of food and dining options and the bars are all top notch. Comfortable spaces that take into consideration all the extra gear skiers and snowboarders wear which is nice. No need to cram into small spaces.
Very good hotel, a little high on the price side if you're watching your dollars. Has ski in and out capability with one lift, and a shuttle service to the main areas of squaw valley. Outside hotubs can get a little crowded. Good pub called Sandy's for typical pub grub.
First thing first, the resort is quite expensive. It is specifically designed for people willing to spend some money and to have quality vacations. For instance, it was $2200 for a suite for 5 nights so you can do the maths. They do offer some good deals which you can look into. Still, apart from this, resort offered great activities with amazing view and location. Architecture of the resort is a good mix of old and new. People usually prefer to come here with families as it is kids friendly. It is 15 mins away from Tahoe city, which is another beautiful city, famous for adventure sports and treks with splendid views. Unlike many hotels and resorts that I have been to, food in their various cafes is delicious. All in all, it's a great place to unwind your work life burden and to just relax while doing some fun activities.
Had a few issues with the room.. specifically, we could not get into our room. Every key they gave us (several) didn't work. We called several times, and finally someone came up and reprogrammed the lock.
On the plus side, all of the staff were very nice. Other than the room issues, everything about the resort was great.
Nice place. Service isn't 4 Diamond worthy anywhere. Breakfast buffet is exceptionally good.
Very nice resort! It's a bit secluded from the rest of Tahoe which can be good or bad depending on your plans but top notch property. The six peaks grille was the best meal of our entire trip both for food and atmosphere.
A wonderful resort packed with activities and amenities. They provide shuttle service to nearby village for shopping and additional slopes (though their lift is right on grounds). I loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tubs especially and found their onsite spa heavenly. I availed myself of an aromatherapy massage and dry sauna. The rooms are nice, the bed is comfortable and the lobby is lovely for relaxing in front of a fire or the giant picture window. Great for groups and corporate events.
This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful scenery and easy access to activities. I would definitely recommend this place
It's two stars because of the views. I'm reviewing the golf course and not the resort. The resort is lovely.
The layout is horrible and not fun AT ALL. The greens are slow and bumpy. It's $99 of frustration. I wouldn't pay $25 to play this course, and have no plans to play here again.
The bridges on the course are pathetic. Any one of them could fail. And instead of repairing them properly, they just put a plank of wood over the damaged spot instead of replacing the boards.
Honestly, the only thing good about the course is the views. That's all. Go anywhere else but here.
Love the golf course and its very reasonably priced! The resort facilities are also great and would be a great place to bring the kids! Lots of games and pools/hot tubs. Sandys pub is always enjoyable as well with good food and good beer selection (my selling point).
Everyone was very professional. View of the snow capped mountains was phenomenal.
Don t go we had made plans to go for a Rolls-Royce Show for a second time how ever we had found out with all the fires the air quality was unsafe SMOKE for our young son so we called to cancel on top of that found out they gave away our room on ground floor on top of that my wife was burned by hot tea with this all said we called American Express and they have yet to return our money we sent American Express a doctors note our son was not permitted to go anywhere near some place with bad air quality, if you call this hotel the said no problem with the fires but however refused to tell anyone the air quality, after checking with weather etc it was from very bad to mild bad and to go back to very poor conditions, they are only interested in them self s than a young child with breathing problems shame on them, we had visited the hotel years ago for a Rolls-Royce Meet had a great time, but to put a child in harms way we were not going to do, now that I see money and I don t care about children is the way they think I will never go back sorry to say
Love this place. Our family has a great time, every time. Especially during summer. Swimming pool and hot tub are great. Dining too! Winter skiing at Squaw Valley, wow, great place, also snow lift right at the resort and ski over to Squaw. Lots of kid friendly events, sledding also available to rent. Ski rentals too.
Places like the Resort at Squaw Creek and people like Nate Los make it easy to believe in miracles... and boy did we need a miracle.
There s no way Nate could have known how intense the past 5 years have been. There s no way he could have known my husband has stage IV cancer. And there s no way he could have known we had just gotten the phenomenal news that the scans were wrong; the cancer HAD NOT spread to John s brain. And yet, here he was at the door giving us an unbelievable upgrade.
We arrived in Squaw tired and in need of connection. The past few months had been really intense and we needed some respite. On the way there we received the fantastic news from John s doctor and just like that our get-away had turned into a celebration.
As we sat on the edge of the bed in amazement and shock we heard the happy sounds of the young family next-door. Normally, those familiar sounds would be coming from our kids, but tonight John and I were solo and now we were rejoicing!
On the off chance that we might find a quieter room I made a call downstairs to Katie, who had already been a delightful help getting us reservations at the Grill. She connected us with Nate Los and he offered to try and find us another room.
Five minutes later, Nate appeared at our door and completely styled us out! A suite on the sixth floor, with a fireplace, a view of the golf course and he came bearing a bottle of wine. We were speechless. Honestly, I could barely mutter the words thank you.
On a normal day at this would ve been outstanding, but last Friday this felt like another miracle. There are many beautiful places on the planet, but the Resort at Squaw Creek is both stunning and magical.
Nate, you made what would ve been a great night, spectacular. The hospitality we received was unparalleled. We ve been telling the story all week. Thank you for being part of what will surely be one of our most precious memories.
Absolutely beautiful venue. Everything you need is conveniently located in one area, and lodging is reasonable for the venue as well.
