Staff was so helpful, food (especially breakfast) was off the charts awesome, plus the view was breathtaking. Then again, they don't get credit for the view.

My friends and I had an amazing dining experience. Our server Alexa Andrews was not only a very professional and friendly server, being a local she was very helpful and patient answering our questions too. Thank you Alexa for making our experience a delightful one!
Very nice hotel! Very friendly staff. Room was clean, although one day the maid did not make the bed, which was very weird. Beautiful landscape and backdrop. A lot of fun shops and cafes.
Perfect place for a family. Regardless of the season, this place is amazing
We went to the spa. The service itself (hot stone massage) was wonderful! The facilities are nothing to ride home about however.
It might be pricey but it has all the reason to be. The breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic. Massively impressed with this resort.
Hotel staff was friendly and the accommodations at the hotel are nice. They decorate the hotel for the holidays which is nice as well.
I have stayed here before and it was very nice. Now it seems like Covid has given them an excuse to be below average. They charge you the same but no room service (how is that a Covid safety issue??? Leave it at door and walk away!!) and no housekeeping. Also services are waaaayyyyy cut back. No courtesy shuttle so don t linger at the Village at the wrong time or you re stranded. No help from this property. $500 a night, but you re on your own. Never mind that phone in room was dead, wine opener had no screw, remote for tv was dead, lamp didn t work, was given handicap room /shower without asking first. I could go on but your better staying at the Village. Avoid this place like herpes!
Aestheics of this place are really nice, and they have a well equipped gym. The room was nice and cozy. I had a really good sleep without waking up as I usually do. The breakfast buffet was GREAT. I can't even express my thoughts well enough to describe it. The sticky buns were definitely my favorite. I just have had like 3 in a row and only stopped because I felt bad about all those calories I was consuming! The six peaks grille also had really quality food!
Beautiful, super friendly and helpful staff, great restaurants. It has been the best resort experience in the Tahoe area.
Great!!!! Concierge: Kate & Susanne courteous and extremely helpful. The hotel is lovely with great ambiance. Planning to go back :)
Clean room, great accommodations, friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to staying here again.
Awesome place. It has everything you wish for. Sports, leisure, kids whatever. We were surprised by the size and the offer of this resort. The view also helps to make this a remarkable experience. Would love to come back again
Only a few minutes north of Lake Tahoe, the resort is scenic and classy. The beds were very comfortable and our overall experience was very positive.
we were hosting a golf tourney. the resort staff were sensational. everyone was helpful. Warren was bar tending at our out door event. i was setting up tables and sponsor signs. Asked if he had Pinot Noir. Said i'd get back after working the event. An hour later, he found me brought me a glass of Pinot Noir. Warren is a 5 Star associate~~~ made my rough week end on a very high note. Thank RSC and Warren.
This resort is nestled in a truly picturesque valley surrounded by the Sierra Nevada mountains. The staff is top notch, offering a level of service unmatched elsewhere. You have to see it too really believe just how beautiful it is here.
The hotel is very nice with great outdoor space in the summer months. It is quite a ways (5-10 mins car) away from Squaw Village, so if you plan to go there for the restaurants and shops, staying in the Village is perhaps a better choice. But if your just looking for a nice hotel, the Resort is the better choice in my opinion.
Sleep in, ski out. Best resort in Squaw Valley. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. Views are spectacular. Staying the night at Squaw Creek means no fighting traffic on the way in, or out, of Squaw and no searching for parking. Just order your breakfast via room service, then grab your gear and walk over to the Squaw Creek chair to access Squaw. When youre done making turns, just ride Red Dog back to Squaw Creek. Then grab your swimsuit and choose one of three hot tubs to unwind. It really doesnt get much better than this.
Beautiful. Perfect location. Services are excellent.
Great complex where can take ski lift from right outside the resort! Awesome pool as well.
Beautiful but WAY to pricy even for Tahoe. Would never stay there personally. Can get the same room in Reno for less!
Beautiful setting for a drink and a bite while visiting the Lake Tahoe area. The grounds are gorgeous, with fires lit in the patio areas. An approachable posh setting with all of the comforts for a penney or two.
Plenty to eat and drink in this beautiful resort. The views are incredible. The staff is helpful and friendly and the grounds are kept well.
Great experience. We traveled with our 7 year old son. We stayed in a fireplace suite with forest view. Room and amnesties were very comfortable and spacious. The resort is close the the main lifts and hub if you are skiing and there is a lift on property as well. There were convenient dining and activity options on site. Our son loved the ice rink. We also took advantage of the spa which was incredible. We look forward to another stay soon and even a summer trip would be fun here.
The hotel was great, fun outdoor activities, friendly staff. Only bad thing was the fact that upon arrival we had to wait longer for our rooms to be clean.
Amazing views. Hot tub and hot pool! If I could give it 10 stars I would!
Nice resort. Fastest pool side! Kids food is WAY overpriced ($18 hot dog)!!
The nearby lift was great in the morning, but they closed it in the afternoon, which meant a bit of a walk back (hint: stay close to the mountain instead of using the meadow, or risk being on the wrong side of the creek).
Has great views, rooms, and food. We've been looking forward toward their breakfast since the last time we came, it's amazing! The staff is great, especially Shane at the front desk who even delivered a bottle of wine and a handwritten card for my girlfriends birthday. It made it very special!
Great place if you have little ones. You don't really have to leave the resort.
Great staff, always great food. We keep coming back to escape for a bit
Excellent snow and location. A lot of things are extra and the ice rink was a bit disappointing, but the snowshoeing and the dog sled rides were awesome!
Great place for the family. Some of the restaurants are a little rough on customer service but passable. The resort staff is friendly and helpful. Don't be surprised if you hear a few dad jokes from some of the valets.
Stunning surroundings, service by entire staff was pretty poor. We went to play golf and the staff seemed to not care saying repeatedly "we are a ski resort, not a golf resort". Well when you come in the summer you are not there to ski. I wish the staff had pretended to care. This was not just my experience but most of the people in our group of 60+ people had the same impression. In addition because the resort is very eco-friendly the golf course is not in very good condition. That being said I commend them for keeping the environment safe.
This location was very nice. The tools and lobby were very clean and orderly. I went there for a wedding and the location was beautiful. The pool and hot tub was nice too even with the snow the pool was warm and cozy.
Squaw Creek Resort is about as convenient as it gets for skiers and snowboarders. The hotel's services and amenities are excellent. Resort goers can reach the mountain very easily by taking the lift right outside the resort, and can use the shuttle to get into the village area for dining and shopping. The resort's lounge and bar areas are also very nice.
Nice amenities, good food choices, convenient shuttle to Squaw village, kids loved it!
Lovely resort with everything you need for a comfortable stay.
Great place for the family! Hopefully I'll be back soon
Great resort .incredible views. Great service. I will be back.
We loved this place!! Everything on this resort looks new and beautiful. The kids loved the pool and the water slide. The water was warm. The views are amazing. There was live music around the 4th of July and many activities. We will be back!
Amazing place for a wedding! Friendly staff and beautiful scenery.
The food at there was good based on the expensive prices they charge. Service was good, but I would not dine here again, based on the value.
First class place. Golfed a round. Had fun but a challenging GC. LOTS of masks and social distancing.
We ve been staying at the Resort at Squaw Creek for 6 years. While there is no loyalty program, which is a shame, we are loyal to the resort amenities. We love to be here with the kids for the pools and waterslide.
This year, we were upgraded to a suite with a beautiful view. We also had great service from three specific people. First, was Taylor, who helped with poolside drink service and by recommending a great place for dinner. The second was Christine at Sandy s pub, who had good conversation while I waited for our lunch food and drank a beer. The third was Rebecca, who assisted greatly at the front counter, including providing a Band-Aid for a cut.
If I had one complaint it would be the beds are a little firm. The shuttle is great for taking us to and from the village, where there are other food, drink, and shopping options. Again the views are beautiful up here.
We ll see you next year.
Nice and clean! All of the employees are very nice and very helpful in answering questions. They also have bikes to rent to bike on the bike trail.
Friendly service and great gateway access off Squaw Creek lift to the other amazing runs at Squaw Valley. Great shuttle service to The Village at Squaw as well. Hot tubs and firepits were great in the evenings after a long day on the mountain. Prices are to be expected with such a nice resort. Views were amazing, even for Spring boarding.
Very friendly staff. Super professional and accommodating to our needs
Pretty overall fantastic resort. One star down because of the wasps that seem to be all over the patio and golf course. I get it it's nature but I live on a ranch and we don't have that many wasp crying around. Been to Yellowstone not there either. So they need to spray. Regardless the resort is beautiful Staff is friendly and accommodating. Golf course Is challenging but still fun. And a shirt drive to Donner Pass, Lake Tahoe and Carson City. My review is based on a summer time visit. Would return in the winter.
Great resort. Love the atmosphere and views! Great skiing as well.
Beautiful resort. Some of the amenities weren't available when we were there in mid October but there's a beautiful pool, biking and hiking trails. Be aware that it's considerably colder in Lake Tahoe than other parts of CA and we weren't properly prepared for the weather.
Stayed in the fireplace suite with living room and kitchenette. Great view of the lift chair nearby and the mountain. Great staff, outdoor hot tub, bar area, restaurant, ball rooms, lobby area. You can buy lift tickets and you can take a shuttle to the squaw village. They check your skis overnight and retrieve them in the morning. Great way to experience squaw. Valet parking available.
Great place to stay or just visit for drinks or a meal. Very friendly staff, beautiful grounds.
Had a wonderful time staying here. So close to the lifts.
The resort is beautiful and the conference rooms were perfect. The staff is amazing and very professional.
Filet Mignon with crab sauce oh my Gosh! Snow covered Mountain views..perfection.
I am having an amazing time here at the resort. We are preparing to have a huge No Barriers Summit event. The rooms were not ready for folks on wheelchairs and they helped us get them as ready as possible. The fella that was most wondered what as Ernesto. Ernesto went to each room installing the shower heads that can be used by someone in a wheelchair. He even made sure to leave each one dangling so they could be reached. That was the kind of thought that really makes the difference. Thank you Ernesto!!
Rooms are great! Food is a little pricey . View is amazing
Very convenient access to the slopes. I went for a team offsite and was pleasantly surprised by how nice the facilities were as well as the speed to get onto the chair lift right out the back door. Good facilities for the team events, too.
My family always has a great time here - summer and winter. Rooms are lovely, facilities are well cared for. Love the shuttle to the village - so convenient.
Relaxed mountain resort - lots of families. Nice outdoor pool area. Great breakfast buffet.
Great resort near the resort. You can walk directly to a lift and get on the mountain easily.
Resort has wonderful spa services, some shopping, and dining options.
After a day skiing or riding you can also go for a swim or relax in one of the 3 hot tubs.
I was just there for a s short meeting in the pizza place. The shuttle between there and Squaw Valley is convenient and Russ every 15 mins.
Nice place, good service, good restaurants, great location
Great rooms, excellent resort facilities snd amenities.
Excellent service and excellent everything. The views, pool, room and resort were top notch. Couldn't say enough great things
Location was remote but rooms were nice. Seemed like summer was their slow season since staff always seemed short handed. Their little breakfast/convenience spot Sweet Potatoes was unbearably slow and always got the order wrong (on three separate occasions I asked for iced tea and got a hot tea, a coffee and an iced coffee). Sandy's Pub had the best food but we didn't get to try Six Peaks Grille which is their finer restaurant.
Although the resort is fancy I didn t really feel the staff was very welcoming. Especially when you get told that they re blocking $390 for incidental at check in and there isn t even a mini bar in the room! Also, late checkout is extremely strict (pay $25 if you don t make it down by 11am sharp). There s a couple of restaurants/cafes on site but some of them were closed and the food at the others was not tasty (very salty) and overpriced.
We just did a quick walk through, the grounds we're gorgeous and we cannot wait to head back and spend some more time there! Beautiful resort!
