Absolutely amazing... slept like a baby. Lil man loved staying in the castle. The salt water pools were great as well as the hot tubs.

This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. We love the pool, the on-site dining, and the friendly and helpful staff. In the cooler months, the fireplace in the main lobby is a treat, and the fire pits on the outdoor patio in the evenings make for a great place to sit and chat. We come here often, and haven't ever been disappointed.

So sad that this gem located just outside of Birmingham is being ruined by management and staff. We have stayed there numerous times and have hoped it would get better only to see the conditions deteriorate. The little things that make hotel stays enjoyable are disregarded by management. Being Gold Elite doesn t matter to them either. Marriott needs to take a good look at this hotel on a surprise visit. You can t even find a bottle of water or a soda because all vending machines are sold out. One server in the Clubhouse Grill. Rare hamburger brought to table, no one to take it back! Floors being polished in entrance at 11pm. Loud machines reverberated the sound to our room. Front entrance and our closest fire exit blocked. Not Good Ross Bridge Management.

Room sevice was great, but there was a generator that went out and we as guests were not informed and after swimming in the pool we did not hve hot water to shower in until the morning. Also the drain in the tib was draining and again could not drain the tub until maintenance came back the next morning

Having a family Christmas gathering here for 2 days and nights and it's superb! Love this place!

Only negative comment is the parking arrangement. Although parking is free and abundant, the closest parking is blocked for valet, not for guests. This arrangement should be reversed. It's almost like the hotel favors guests that pay for valet over those who don't. Valet parking should be placed further away

We had our work awards banquet here and it was just wonderful! The food was delightful and the drinks were on point. Will be back as soon as my wife and I can!

Very nice resort style hotel. The rooms are comfortable, staff friendly, and pool area is gorgeous. I loved the fire pit areas too. Those provided an enjoyable relaxation space in the evenings for chatting with friends. I did not visit the spa, but it seemed nice. Parking is plentiful and they offer valet.

very disappointing for the price we paid expected a more quality experience. .. the overall room accommodations, spa, and staff experience level/ level of training was below par....the hair salon, breakfast buffet and bar experiences were pretty good however

Decor was superb; food was exquisite; staff was extremely hospitable!!

Room did not get cleaned. Could not get service. My mother and mother-in-law stayed and we will not be coming back.

Presidential Suite
I come to Birmingham for work often but I've always been priced out of staying here. Apparently January is a slow month for them so I was able to get a room at a great price. I am so glad I did! The hotel is not exactly easy to get to but it's not exactly off-the-grid either. Really, it's exactly...

Great weekend getaway at a beautiful resort with great service. The spa is the best ive ever been to and definitely one you can spend the day at. The trail to the historic park is a hilly one but great for the exercise enthusiast. highly recommend!

Great place to.stay for.the weekend. The food in the restaurant is good. The service is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and will answer any questions you have. I would highly recommend this place for a weekend getaway.

A little run down. Cabinet door was broken. Wallpaper peeling. Towels very rough and scratchy. Staff very helpful and friendly though.

This place is SO nice! The view from the room was amazing, the pool, though we didn't get to go, looked like a blast, and the workout room was amazing!

I'd say this beautiful place is in the top ten Hotel/Resorts I have stayed with. The rooms were very nice, the service top notch and the food and services great. We were here for an extended stay car club convention and everything went off without a hitch and was beautifully done. Being a bit of a foody, I usually avoid hotel banquet food but these folks did an admirable job. The Spa was a big hit with all, and the setting is as tranquil as you will find. If I had to find fault id say it would be food and bar prices, that said you get first class in both areas. This place is approacing outstanding in all areas. I'd come back in a minute, in fact as I write this on our last day of the stay... I'm going to miss it already! :-(

Beautiful proprty, some misses as a "resort property" like towels and toilet tissue quality.

We had a bad first experience on my honeymoon, but a bad Travelocity review got me and my wife a free weekend there and it was fantastic. Loved our stay and what they had to offer!

Supposed to be a fancy place. The air conditioner rattled so I asked to be moved to a different room and the air conditioner in that room rattled also. Spoke with the management, he was not very nice. It was an aggravating stay.

for a meal that took at least 21/2 hours.
and was not the least tasty.
next time I will look for a better digs for the guys
we have been doing the golf outing for 23 years and this is the first time
the experience was bad.
we were going to have our final dinner there but chose to go to Flemings
where we were treated royally and the food was terrific.
the golf course was terrific that's all I have to say.

OMG this place is unreal! Soooo beautiful! You feel like you are in an ancient castle. Loved the grist mill and lunch on the patio was amazing!! I cannot wait to go back to this hotel!

Staff is a little stiff with certain guest. Limited house keepers. Lots of supervisors.

I love it. There no place to call home like this one. I will recommend any one family time is the best about here they got it all. Thank you I have 2 more days here and I don't want to leave . Lol

Great place for a local get a way. We live in Auburn, AL. And have stayed at the RTJ Marriott at that lacation. It is nice but not as classy as this one.

Front desk staff not what it used to be. The two I encountered seemed dry. This is your first line of defense. The supervisor, Caroline was nice. Rooms clean, and balcony was great. Hostess at Brocks really sweet.

Ross Bridge is a great place to getaway for a weekend away from home. Love the Spa and swimming area. Enjoyed the food options too.

The cost of the total trip was very high which would have been just fine if the service had matched the cost. We were having our 44th anniversary. We had to leave the premises for our dinner because Brock's was closed for a wedding but no other accommodations were made for other guest. We went to the other restaurant but had to wait in single file at the bar for drinks. After that we decided we would leave the hotel, which was not our original plan. When we got in from dinner our air conditioner was not working. A service man had to come up. We were disappointed in this trip.

The atmosphere was relaxing . My massage therapist Amber, was great! Try the Himalayan, it is divine.

Lacking a lot of basic necessities while charging far too much and giving absolutely zero. The Spa was hard to find and underwhelming. Indoor pool was more like a large bathtub of chlorine. Everything is either hidden or booked for private use. The vending machines suck, the room service menu sucked even worse. No in room microwave. The room was quite basic in my experience for its price. The toilet needed stronger suction and the bed spread was small for such a wide bed. Some of the staff makes you feel welcomed, thanked, and cheerful while a few others have you feeling like you could have stayed in your car and had a better experience. Overall, visual wise my stay was only worth half the $650 I paid. Experience wise it was worth $160 (the basic price for any other hotel for a 2 night 1 bed stay.) The city had more of an impact in my life than this judgmental hotel.

Went for Thanksgiving buffet and was not disappointed. The place is beautiful. The staff were truly friendly and helpful. Then there was the food. It was amazing. From unique salad like Blackberry honey walnut to King crab claws. It had everything. Ifrom seafood to traditional fair. And no cleanup was priceless.

I was so impressed with this hotel! It started at the front desk with Brandon M. I was in a bad mood but his smile entering the hotel lit my spirit up! He was so nice and gave me great details about the hotel. He even gave me a complimentary lunch after explaining to him a few of my personal issues. The care he showed for me as an individual should not go overlooked. I was surprised when he told me he was not a manager. I then had a few problems with my room but the service he gave me to get it handled and moved to another room was very pleasing. He followed up with me after my move and made me feel very comfortable with my stay. I also had a pleasant interaction with housekeeping. Housekeeping was very quick at attending to my needs. I was short a few things after my first night stay and they were so nice and quick to assist my needs ! This was a very great stay ! I had to let it be known about this wonderful experience I had.

Fire alarm went off for no reason for a long time and staff could not explain what was happening. No concierge lounge so really no benefits for loyalty. Not friendly at the front desk. Facility was beautiful and room was good sized with a lovely balcony.

Terrible experience! Staff was so rude. No one acknowledged me when I arrived and I stood there at the desk for 15 minutes while desk girls were on the phone and then on cell phones. Finally, I was brought back. The locker didn t work and she I was told oh well . My robe was FILTHY and full of holes and no one was around for me to request a new one. The actual service was decent but overall a terrible expierience. Worst part, I called and emailed manager and have received no response.
