Good food for a reasonable price for buffet dinner. Service was excellent! We are given seats even as we walk in at full seating capacity. There was no ice-cream served but staff brought us each an ice-cream upon requests! Would recommend anyone to drop by for buffets

Checking in fast and efficient. Staff all polite and helpful. Room is large and comfortable. Very clean.

The staff attitude make this place enjoyable. The hotel is new & rooms are spacious. If you seek to rest early, like I was due to work, ask for a quiet room. There were renovations happening, which, i didn't know about before booing but they moved me straight away to another floor. The food was amazing & again the restaurant staff & chefs sensational. Taxi services are affordable and honest. Enjoy yiur visit

Nice and new hotel. Specious room. Good internet connection.

Rooms are nice and clean, free baby playpen is available too. Many nice restaurants are nearby within walking distance.

The hotel is very easy to access, and there're many nice eateries across the hotel. The staff at the hotel are very polite and they remember the guests' names. The rooms are spacious. Good.

good security. surround by Aeon, late night eatery, petrol station. easy acces 20 min drive from Causeway checkpoint and 15min drive to Tebrau City and KSL.

Pretty good in general. Clean. Nice service. Food - brilliant.
The staff did a very good job but they were pretty loud while we had a meeting inside the meeting room.
To have a male cleaner in a lady toilet doesn t make any women feel safe at all.
Pool is very small compared to other 5-star hotels.

The buffet is not bad at all. I'm not sure about the room because I was here for the food. The price is 'Renaissance' so you got what you paid for.

It was a pleasant stay as I managed to secure a Club Floor room. The staff was very courteous throughout the week and the service was consistent which brings to attention that there is a sense of safety when staying at the place. I have enjoyed the location, though not entirely close to major shopping malls I was contented being able to walk within 5-10mins and having a good go at the local favourites just closely. The convenience stores close to the hotel means that, I don't have to worry about daily necessities. Overall it was the best decision ever to spend a wrong week in Renaissance.

Like this place so much!!!! All the restaurants are near by and all kinds. The only thing is I have no time to enjoy in the hotel since I am busy at outside..

Great hotel with satisfying breakfasts. Spacious room, steady WiFi, good Air-conditioning, great and constant water pressure in shower, responsive customer service, complimentary parking lots, varieties breakfasts, and much more . Worth for.

The rooms were clean and the food was okay. The staff was friendly however, 100% of the time you ordered something or requested something they wouldn't have at least 50% of that item. So for example you order a burger and they wouldn't have French fries. Also they did this thing where they pretended to understand you and then you would have to call several times in order to get an extra towel or bathrobe. The pool was closed the entire week I was there because apparently it had been so dirty they had to close it to clean it and it took them an entire week. So that was crap because that's the only reason I was there. I go along with my husband for business trips and Malaysia doesn't feel that safe for me to wander around, so I go along and lounge by the pool or at least in the past. This time I was stuck in my room. The gym was decent and they had a sauna. The sauna wall panels were starting to come out and the door didn't seal all the way so the heat escapes easily. No hand soap in the women's bathrooms.
It wasn't the worst place I've stayed but I've been to better hotels in Johor Bahru.

Lovely buffet setting. Reasonably priced lunch buffet. Good selection of western and local cuisine though without outdoor grill for lunch buffet.

The staff at the breakfast buffet was smiling and the kitchen was cheerful and the atmosphere was good.

Horrible buffet standards, cake are WORST THAN MALAYSIA LAVENDER'S CAKE. Made a reservation of 9 and wasnt well seated! Food wasn't fresh and unappetizing. Didn't even have a coffee maker everything was like a catering standards in a 5 star hotel! PLEASE DONT PATRONISE!

Though interior a bit dated, still a nice and peaceful place for a break.

The location was very close to the checkpoint - about a 15 minute drive. The staff are helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and whilst having a modern design, have a minimalistic feel as well.

Location is a little far from main johor area. However the immediate area has plenty of amenities to keep one occupied. Hotel food and accommodation is by far the most decent amongst the big 3 hotels in johor bahru area.

Ramadhan buffet is great. Anyhow it will be respectful for one to wait for breaking fast time before consuming foods especially when you are around muslims. In my humble opinion.

Very spacious bedroom and unblocked view. Great variety of food inside and outside of hotel. Good affordable and clean massage shops outside hotel.

Nice stay here. Likes the gym room and swimming pool much. Breakfast buffet is satisfactory with quite variety of food. Likes the fresh fruit juice with ur own choice of fruit.

Love this place! Definitely worth the stay with friends, especially with the benefit of visiting the lounge, which is a great place to chillax and chat with friends. Food provided (either breakfast, lunch, or dinner) is good. They have different varieties of food to offer at different visit but generally the standard type of cuisine. I personally like the outdoor satay and fried durian area (:

Would be better if they keep the consistency of every room at the same standard of functionality, as one of the rooms, its toilet door couldn t be locked, moist smell due to the furniture I believe (which I requested for change), toilet spray that s a little off. However, standard cleanliness is still uphold throughout.

Even it's only 1 day stay it was lovely and nice the check in staff till the breakfast staff at the restaurant was so nice and also very polite I will say every one of them. Special thanks to mums Asniza who af Renaissance JB who assist me on every preparation that I request was done even though shes on leave she goes the extra mile in making the day successful for my wife my child Birthday a memorable one .
Thank you to You Ms Asniza Azlan and the whole team of Renaissance JB.
Hope to see u guys again in the near future and of course will reccomend family and friends about the Hotel.
